I even showed comparable pricing online and mentioned similar items at the two antique stores farther down the street, but there was still no willingness to negotiate on price. Since this is the first antique store you come across after leaving the parking area, it probably gets a lot of the initial foot traffic. My advice would be to keep walking and check out the other two stores farther down the street. They are much larger, have a better overall selection, and I found their pricing to be much more reasonable. I shop antique stores regularly and understand that pricing can vary based on condition, rarity, and the individual seller, but the difference here was significant enough that I would not personally shop here again.

One thing to be aware of is the building has a very strong musty smell. If you have allergies or are sensitive to dust or odors, definitely keep that in mind. The biggest downside for me is the customer service at the front. They are not always very friendly or helpful, and they often seem unaware of vendor-specific sales or discounts. If you are interested in buying several items from one vendor and want to ask about a bulk discount, getting someone to contact the vendor can be a hassle. Checkout can also be slow, especially when items need to be wrapped or packaged. That said, the store itself is absolutely worth browsing if you have the time and patience. There are a lot of treasures to find--you just need to go in knowing that the shopping experience can be a little cumbersome once you are ready to buy.

Purchased from this auction house on HiBid. The framed print was advertised as antique from the…read more19th century and on the listing it noted that 5-10 dollars would be added for shipping and handling costs. It even said that the poster had an original tax stamp on it. To my surprise shipping was $99 and the frame arrived shattered. The poster was a cheap 21st century reproduction and even the stamp was printed on!! I bid $50 and would have bid higher thinking it was an original piece. When I called the auction house scared about shipping costs, they threatened to have me banned from this action and others on hibid. Beware of this auction house as it may be a scam and/or false advertisement. Edit: the owner replied to my review and another recent review saying they never did business with us. He is a liar. I even attached a photo of what I bought and I'm pretty sure he's the man I spoke to on the phone. Also posting a pic of my invoice here for reference and you can see every detail of what I wrote is true.

There is room out on the porch & inside at a big maker space table for people to work on projects. There is a classroom area in the rear & I understand a class schedule is coming. My Fiber Arts group went together on a "field trip" to explore. They have all kinds of fabrics, kits, & curated bundles of fat quarters for quilting. Everything is so well thought out, presented, and displayed. I know a bunch of my friends who are going to want to move in & "live" there. It is around in the rear of a shopping center, so as you turn in from Benfield Rd, go all the way back past the string if restaurants and stores and around the rear corner.
