We got some cookies to put out for guests and just for fun we grabbed some Dubai-style chocolate. We were expecting average stuff. We got Wow! The cookies were thick and crunchy with a good layer of hard icing and cute shapes and decorations. A friend recently had cookies custom-made in Baltimore for a baby shower, and these Christmas House cookies at Marshall's were just as good! The Dubai-style 33%-cocoa milk chocolate bar was stuffed with a think layer of 11% finely-chopped pistachios and crumbled kadayif filo! Very nice flavor and texture, as good as I've had anywhere! A fancier brand might have some tahini in there, but I didnt miss it. And the box shows the usual green-coloring for the filling, while this filling is chocolate-color, which is ok with me. We were happily surprised by the quality of these treats at a Marshall's!

I wanted to grab all the past presents I wasn't able to find at that time I intended to give them. Funny how all the memories and hopes returned when I saw the items. Unlike Marshall's, I am rarely ever able to find anything in TJ Maxx. It is the rare occasion that I will stop by and find an item or two, but it is never where I find an abundance of any one thing. I have perused a number of sections from beauty to household goods and the beauty section is where I typically find good stuff. For this reason, I stopped by today because I have found that if Marshall's does not have the hair styling products that I like, it is a great chance that I will find it at TJ Maxx. Well, I went to this store yesterday looking specifically for hair products and was able to find quite a bit and the brands that I like. I walked into the store, located what I was looking for and went directly to the checkout line. I really like how structured this visit went, which was a far cry from my usual pop-ins to see if I find anything. Those visits always leave me disappointed.

I decided, and to my better judgment, to walk the aisles without a cart to lessen my chances of impulse buying and it worked! I did eyeball a few items that interested me, but resisted the urge. They had an extensive inventory of home goods, food items, and pet supplies. I did notice that in this location, the selection of furniture was not as plentiful as in the past. Could have been what was available during my visit. The staff were pleasant and provided good service. All in all, I enjoy going to HomeGoods and on my next visit will indeed grab a shopping cart!

The curb side appeal is severely lacking at this location, as there are shopping carts stacked in the front without a designated area. However, Parking is good with a huge parking lot right out front, and it is free. Prior to getting in line to start my return, I visited the aisles with the dining and hosting merchandise, and honestly, the selection was lacking. Everything was not very organized, though semi neatly stored. Also, one of the workers, who was putting away items, had a passive aggressive attitude towards me when I was attempting to walk around her with my cart. This happened twice, despite me politely saying excuse me/thank you. Perhaps, she had this attitude towards others, but I noticed it with me. Not sure if discrimination played a role, because I observed her earlier being incredibly nice towards another customer of a different race, to the point that the other customer seemed uncomfortable and awkward by the excessive attention. Additionally, the store aisles are especially narrow at this location, but the store also wasn't particularly busy during the time of day that I visited. The return process was convenient and the customer service was polite and efficient at the registers. This location overall seems convenient to make a quick stop, but I was not impressed by the selection.

Ive never had any issues coming to this location. I didnt find what I went for but I definitely found some nice clothing articles and flat shoes. Im not a fan of looking/searching through miscellaneous racks of clothes. It just annoys me. I managed to do such today for a few minutes not long and was out.
