I've had a good experience at this target location. I ordered an item online and this was the closest store that had it in stock for same-day pick up so I placed my order using the Target circle app. When I went to pick it up, I decided to use the curbside service. Once I pulled up to a spot and checked in on the app, I only had to eat several minutes before an associate brought my order out. It was a lot quicker than I had expected, and I will definitely use this location for the curbside pick up. The designated pick up parking spaces are a little bit away from the front door where all of the traffic is. They also have plenty of pick up parking spaces. read more

Upon entering this target it's looks and smells clean. I and another customer stand in the pick up but it looks cluttered with carts. There is another line with a large sign that says "exchange & return. Instead of reaching out the me and the other customer standing in the order pick-up section, we had to ask if there would be someone to help us. And then the cashier proceeds to say "it's all one line". There was no attitudes or anything from the cashiers. Just the fact that they saw us and did not acknowledge us until we reached out. The cashier should be more attentive. It's was not crowded at all. One cashier was not busy. Do better target. I purchased an antenna so I can watch the game. At 40$ it's an ok value, over the service was actually quick once I was an acknowledged. read more

Since I was in the area I figured that I would stop at the neighborhood Target. I didn't have any real need to shop here, it was more of just a stop to pass some time. This was a rather large Target and well put together. It was organized and well stocked. and the employees were fairly helpful. I did what you usually do in a Target. I roamed about, looked at several items, and even found a few clearance items that just might have been a bring home with me deal. I passed on a lot it. I did pick up a few items that I really didn't need, but would make my home life a bit easier in the near future. Not a bad stop overall, but not a memorable stop in the least either. read more

Considering there was another pending snow storm coming and the store was crazy crowded my wait wasn't to long. When I arrived I almost turned around because the lines were stretching down the aisles in all directions. There were so many people, but by the time I got all of my items they must have opened up more lanes because the lines were considerably shorter and my wait was only about five minutes. Kudos for this Target being well stocked and the quick service. read more

I placed a pickup order for migraine medicine. Yes only 1 ITEM. I placed the order @6:15 and waited over two hours for the order to not even be filled. I called the store twice and they said "the orders not ready" with attitude. I explained that I was unable to walk in the store due to my medical condition and that I've been waiting for an unusual amount of time and they did not care. I had to call my dad to walk in the store and get the medicine for me because they couldn't do their jobs. On top of that they told my dad that since the order wasn't filled he would have to cancel the Mobile order and pay at a register. Unbelievable I am highly disappointed in target and their customer service as this is something that I have never experienced before. I will never order from this target again read more

This is consistently the worst Target in the area. They always have items out of stock. The staff is rude and disinterested staff. They are far more interested in what's going on on their phone than answer a simple question. I switched to pick-up and the drive up is just as bad. They constantly forget items or entire orders. I've tried multiple times to get in touch with a manager or any human being for that matter. I've called the store multiple times only to have the phone answered and set on the counter. read more

Bottom Line:  A large Target with a pharmacy, groceries and Ulta beauty inside. I love Target in general but this one seems to be a little rough around the edges. I recently visited, grant it on a Saturday, and found the store to be a bit of mess. Upon entering the first vignette customers come across is the Starbucks and snack bar and that area was just very unappetizing, clutered and dirty. I skipped the snack and moved on to shopping. I looked at personal care items, puzzles and sunglasses and most shelves were a bit of a mess and not what I am used to from Target. I thought it was really neat that Ulta is now inside of Target (debatably rivaling the Sephora in the Kohl's across the parking lot) but I didn't find what I was looking for in the Ulta section. For one of the first times in my life, I left Target, gasp, empty handed! Overall, I love Target but I think this store could do better. read more

At this Target, located in Ellicott City, Maryland, the thirteen minutes or so it took my wife and me to stand in line to use one of the few self-checkout lines to purchase a Funko Pop T-Shirt felt like an eternity. The aisles are spacious, the employees are helpful, and the shelves stock just about everything you would look for in a Target, but the number of self-checkout lines could certainly be expanded; and the customers' experiences would be significantly improved if customers could proceed directly to stand in line for any of the individual self-checkout lanes rather than standing in a single line for all of them. read more

Just bought a Coffee maker. It was a little confusing because the price signs were under the wrong display model. I wound up settling because I wanted the sale price but the model really on sale had a smaller capacity. I had a similar problem here a few weeks ago in a different department, so it's a recurring problem. read more

This is the most constantly understocked Target I have been to- and I have been to a lot, even in different states. Unfortunately, it is the closest to me. They have a very limited supply of seasonal items-doesn't matter what season. Very limited choices in all departments. Columbia store a little better. Never have thier $3, $5 area with seasonal things I see posted on line. Need to visit the Targets in Colorado. It is a different world. read more

This Target store is generally well stocked and pleasant to shop in, although the checkout lines can be long whether using self check-out or traditional checkout. The store is clean, safe, and convenient, and sells fresh meats and produce in addition to other grocery items. Like others, I don't care for the store remodel a few years, but I still far prefer the Ellicott City Target to the nearby Columbia Target or the Columbia or Ellicott City Walmarts. I give it 5-stars because it is sooooo much better than the competition but the store itself is probably 4-star. read more

I have been shopping here since 2017 and found that this store is not gotten better in anyway. Hoping to stop and shop in one swoop has become a thing of the past at any Target nowadays. This location is always out of items that were well stocked and this happened PRE PANDEMIC! Customers get tired of... Same long lines Cruddy and disgusting bathroom Wrong signage for sale prices Lethargic sales personnel Ho hum selection of personal care items Not to mention they have almost rid themselves of the familiar basics in their body wash, deodorant and cosmetics depts. The store remodel is useless and does nothing to help customers shop faster nor better - so why remodel? Dumb idea. I have chatted with patrons about the remodel and we chuckle about the dumb move. No redeeming value. Won't be coming back to this location unless I must pick up something they do not carry at my regular T store. read more

I went into Target today looking for a brand new, very expensive tv. My plans eventually changed 40 minutes later, when things couldn't have gotten worst. I was so excited to get a new tv. From Target's great sale on a 55" tv, I was even willing to go up a size from what I initially wanted. So you can imagine my distaste when no one was at the tech department to help me. No biggie, I'll just go ask someone to call for help. That's what I thought. I asked a nice woman for help, however, no one ever came out to help. I do not blame the workers who tried to help, I blame the tech people who were "in the back", only to never show themselves. About 15 minutes went by, and yet again, a helpful employee calling for help still didn't prompt the technology person to show themselves. After 40 minutes of waiting, Target lost a big sale, along with my future support of their business. I know it sounds petty, but I really didn't appreciate that. read more

Came to pick up Tazo cinnamon spice tea because Target seems to be the only store in the area that carries this particular flavor. I had been going to all the fancy smancy stores thinking they may have it, but l was out of luck, soTarget gets my unending endorsement for having this particular flavor in stock always! This store located in Ellicott City has always been one of my favorites to visit, especially early morning before the store gets crowded and the lines long. This store is well organized and their stock is always on point. They now have dairy, frozen, fresh produce and ready to eat food sections. Target has made its name known in the one stop shop category, which is a good thing. Parking at rhis location is a breeze and of course, there is a Starbucks on site to get that coffee buzz, if that's what you like. The staff is always pleasant and eager to assist if you require it. I also like to visit this location on Black Friday because it is always well organized and wont have you running around looking for the advertised products. When l have to make a mad dash because I am running low on my Tazo Sweet Cinnamon Spice tea, Target here l come! read more

This Target is on a downward spiral. They have been doing a remodel for a few months which sent the store into chaos. Every time I have tried going I have basically left in frustration because of the mess they have created. They recently finished their remodel and things have gotten no better. The set up of the store is awful and the people that work there are just not helpful. They have a very limited selection of things I used to specifically go to Target for i.e. kids shoes. They moved cleaning products over near the pharmacy where is like no mans land. I am not sure what the goal was for this store but in the age of Amazon, they have really missed the mark and lost a die hard Target customer. read more

I've found that when I've needed to go inside the store during the pandemic, this particular location has been great! I've shopped inside, done store pick-up, and utilized their drive-up services. The selection here is pretty good, when the items are in stock, but there tend to be gaps on many of the shelves. The real problem, though, is the cashiers (plural when they have more than one available on weekdays). From not speaking clearly enough to understand how much items are--there's no visible read-out of prices and the cashiers can't even see the price on the cash register once they reach over and push the button on the _customer's_ screen, to one entering the wrong amount of change I gave her (turns out she wasn't wearing her glasses). The time before last that I went there, when I questioned the change I got due to her mumbled speech, she had the gall to wave the printed receipt in my face in total disrespect for me. I don't really like ordering from Amazon, but at least you don't have to watch them like a hawk. read more

This is pretty much what you expect at a target - clean, relatively well stocked, and overwhelmingly large. There's a starbucks up front that usually has a bit of line. Like most Target stores, it's a bit hard to find anyone to answer questions, but that's part of why the price is lower. Most of the staff at the registers are pleasant, though occasionally tired - but I really can't blame them. For whatever preference I have for smaller stores, when you're outfitting a new apartment - the prices really can't be beat for those essentials you'll slowly replace over the years. Some of it even turns out to be higher quality that expected. Some of it breaks depressingly fast. read more

I came into target to pick up a few things for my kids lunch the other day and I had the nicest cashier ! I was putting up everything to get rung up and my girls were running around a bit (you know how kids are these days ). He gave each of them stickers and was just overall very sweet! Everytime I go to Target I ask myself, "why?" This Target is no different. Disgusting bathroom. They have baby wipes and flushable toilet wipes marked as "disinfectant wipes." That is dangerous. If you place an order for pick up... CHECK YOUR ORDER!! Twice I was given the wrong item. In one case, I was given rice baby cereal when I purchased the multigrain. My child is ALLERGIC to rice products. Perhaps they need to make sure their staff has basic reading skills. Then again, I was in the store watching a young lady gather an order. This place is great. They people are nice and friendly. Mostly when I go to store buy what I want it always out or always buy the last items and end up return because it does not work or damage. I just brought a last wii game on the shelf, when I got home it works for like 5 minutes and freeze. I have to go all the up there again and exchange. The associate call others store and still don't have my game, but the assciate so nice to me that, she let me pick another wii game. read more

Went looking for ground chicken - out of ground chicken. Went looking for bread - out of bread. Went looking for diapers - out of diapers. Went looking for ... oh well. Maybe I should just stop. Seriously these guys were even out of milk a few times. Weekdays, weekends, doesn't matter. Have seen better Target stores, and this isn't one of them. Plus the sales staff the few times I've interacted with them, have a kinda "I'm too good to help you" attitude. I guess I'll just stick to the Walmart a mile away. It's not better in terms of service, but at least it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. read more

This is literally the most disheveled, unwelcoming Target I've ever been to. The women's clothing section was A MESS, not to mention a tight maze that you can barely move a stroller or cart through easily. Clothing was EVERYWHERE but where it belonged and when I approached the one open dressing room, the guy greeted me by raising his eyebrows...as if to ask why I was standing there, instead of greeting me. Unacceptable. There were at least 12 associates in the woman's section and barely two were working. One was barking out orders and others were standing around chatting. What a disappointment. The young lady that checked me out was the only pleasant part of our experience. This visit occurred on 7/15/22 at approximately 1:50 pm. read more
