Overall: excellent food, good service, dark ambiance, pop music, multi-stall gendered restrooms, high chairs, booster seats, and changing tables available They have all you can eat and à la cart options. The meat might have been my favorite of all of the MD Korean bbq I've had. Their bulgogi, spicy brisket, and soy chicken really stole the show for me. I loved that they had two types of pickled radishes and japche in their ban chan options. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. I always love Korean bbq but I typically leave feeling stuffed in a gross way. I didn't feel like that leaving here- just content and happy. My only complaints were that the pork belly was a little tough and the shells kind of stuck to the shrimp. I wish Korean bbq places would have bigger tables. Not a knock on them, it seems like that everywhere but there are way too many dishes involved for a regular sized table.

Came here for dinner with friends and was very happy with the experience, food was delicious and service was good. Made reservations online which was easy and convenient, saved us a wait on a Friday night. Got seated quickly, the place is nice more upscale vibes. The staff were attentive and fast, they also handle the cooking of the meat which is nice. We as a group ordered the all you can eat option, and it didn't disappoint. We all had plenty to eat and was happy with the selection. Tried brisket, bulgogi, steak, pork belly, garlic shrimp, and the various sides. The meat was all high quality especially for ayce. Favs were the bulgogi, brisket and steak. All well seasoned and flavorful, and with plenty of dipping sauce options. The banchans/side dishes were good and even the dumplings and ramen on the ayce menu were good. Overall really liked this place for ayce, they also have à la carte options which I'll have to come back to try for. Good vibes and a nicer/fancier spot than most regular kbbq spots. The cost was more then reasonable for good quality ayce, fyi they do have a 90min time limit for ayce so come hungry. Nice to have an upscale Korean bbq option in Columbia/ Howard county. Theres plenty of parking and the service here was excellent. Definitely recommend and will be back.

If you are looking for KBBQ close by, then this place wouldn't be so bad. If you're looking for the best KBBQ in the DMV though, skip this place. We had many of the traditional Korean barbecue meats, including pork belly, beef brisket, pork jowl, bulgogi, top blade steak, regular steak, chicken, etc. Overall, the meats weren't bad but they felt not as up to par compared to other places in NoVa like Oegadgib and Sō. The brisket here wasn't as fatty and delicate, and the pork belly wasn't as tender as other places. The top end steak was the best thing, packed with flavor and savoriness. I found the other meats like the chicken and bulgogi a tad too sweet for my liking. The sides were limited at our table. No beansprouts, pickled onion, or other types of kimchi apart from the napa cabbage one. Salad was also included, but again i found it to be a bit heavy and sweet with the dressing compared to when they use gochugaru and oil. We did get radish and kimchi but we continually had to keep asking for more. Usually at other spots, if you ask for extra banchan, they will give you a lot so you don't have to keep asking but for here, we kept on getting small plates. We kept on having to ask almost every time our waiter came around, along with everything else including water, rice, sauces, etc. Not necessarily bad but other KBBQ spots will see these things and refill or give you more immediately without you having to ask. The atmosphere was nice and felt classy. The grill though was a bit weak but the pans they used were nonstick so they required less changing than traditional ones. I also found the dipping sauces that came by default were lacking oomph like what comes at other places. Our total bill ended up to be $55 a person, so for that price, I would have much rather eaten at other spots like Honey Pig or Iron Age. Not a bad spot but definitely mediocre compared to others.

My family eats kbbq about twice a month. Meaning I've been to nearly every spot in the Howard county, Baltimore, and DC. I'll say this is the best AYCE until you get to So down in NoVa. Huge portions, big variety of marinated and non marinated meats, and very fair prices. One thing I liked about chadol was the server did all the cooking, as someone with a chronic back injury it's nice to not have to do the cooking. Having an attentive server who stays on top of the cooking allows you to drink and relax more. Also the corn cheese here was the best iteration of corn cheese I've ever had. It was almost like elote and came sizzling like fajitas.

I am a big fan of the Chadol restaurant group and so happy its made its way to Hoco. I stopped by recently with friends during their soft opening. The cuts of meats were fresh and the service was great. We opted for the AYCE menu. We enjoyed everything from the brisket, top blade steak, pork belly, and pork jowl. All of the cuts did not taste like they were once frozen. The banchan spread was beautiful and the soy bean soup had the right amount of spice. They even include shin ramen in the AYCE menu. My friends and I really enjoyed our experience here. The ambience was dark and intimate. We saw plenty of families and children enjoying their meals. Our server was attentive. The banchan and waters were constantly getting refilled. We will definitely be back for their a la carte premium cuts.

Quality meat! I've been the Chadol location in Rockville and thought I'd try their new location in Columbia. Typically you'll find the Korean spots in Ellicott City when it comes to Howard County; so I'm glad to see this location in a different area. It's been about a month since this location opened and I have to say the meat quality is never disappointing. The AYCE (all you can eat) opinion is a must try at least once and worth every penny. Our waiter was Isaac who was amazing. I'll be trying to request him if possible when I make future reservations at this location. Our meat of choice was: Brisket Galbi Pork Belly Curry Pork Belly Soy Top Blade Top Blade Steak Sides: Korean ramen Fried dumplings Rice Kimchi Radish Corn Salad For AYCE, you get half off premium meats, however, we didn't get to do that because what we chose from the main meats was satisfying. Perhaps next time. The curry pork belly was a first for me. I loved the crispy texture from the grilled pork that was dressed in curry. I'm drooling thinking about it. All the meats were tender. The kimchi was great in flavor. All the sides were good. Overall, it's one of the top Korean BBQ spots on my list. There is an à la cart option if you're not wanting to pick the AYCE option. You can't go wrong either way. Customer service is excellent. If you've never been they'll give you a rundown of the menu and concept. Ask about their meat quality which the proof is in the pudding; it's top tier. You are constantly checked on to see if you're ready for more meats and they consider your preference on what meat you'd like cooked next. Do yourself a favor and go to Chadol!!

We stopped by for an early weekend dinner without reservations and were seated after about a five minute wait, which was great. The restaurant has a nice rustic meets modern vibe that feels warm and inviting. We decided to try the AYCE option ($45 for adults and $24 for kids ages 5-10). We sampled the brisket, seasoned top blade steak, seasoned pork belly, pork jowl, garlic shrimp, and also paid extra to try the premium jumulleock marinated beef. We added a few included sides like ramen and fried dumplings as well. Most of the meats were decent, but unfortunately the premium jumulleock (which we paid extra for) was surprisingly bland and underwhelming. We did let our server know, and she said she would inform the manager. Additionally, some of the fried dumplings were over-fried and too hard, and my daughter didn't want to eat them. Overall, while the experience wasn't terrible, it felt a bit pricey compared to other AYCE Korean BBQ spots we've tried, especially considering the quality and flavor didn't quite stand out. The location also isn't the most convenient for us. At this point, we're not sure if we would return.

"Mission Accomplished!!!" Mission BBQ is a true testament to everything right. They are more than…read morejust food... they exude a form of togetherness that instantly makes you smile. The entire staff is friendly, professional and ready to lend a hand at every turn. I want to give a big salute to The Mission BBQ Family !!! Now, I know I said, they're more than just food... Well, the food takes on a life of its own. I'm talking absolutely mouth watering delicious ( every dish ) I stopped here for the first time because I was craving a slow cooked smoked cheeseburger... and I was satisfied from the very first bite ( and the seasoned fries complemented the burger like a puzzle piece !! ) the burger was my dine in order... I also ordered turkey & pulled chicken to take home for dinner. And when I tell you if I could, I would have done a back flip at how scrumptious and tender the meat was ( compliments to the chef for being super on point with his seasoning and grill game ! ) Now my question to the establishment is who created the side of the day ? "Broccoli salad" This hands down was the best side I ever tasted... it was like a form of broccoli coleslaw that hit the right tune with my tastebuds ( this is a must have... which means I'll be back out Columbia Crossings within the next week or two !!! ) FYI: Their summer lemonade is the perfect concoction to wash down every awesome meal on their menu !!!! How was this my first time hearing of Mission BBQ.... Lucky Me !!!!

It's outdoor seating and very relaxing. You have to deliver the food to your table and you might have a bit of a wait, but it is worth it. Today the weather was nice and I enjoyed relaxing waiting for the food to come out. The owner personally brought it out to me to take. For starters the mac and cheese is to die for. I don't know how they do it but you can taste the smokiness in the Mac & Cheese. It's a wonderful comfort food on its own. The baked brisket beans is quite good as well. When I was remembering from the last time i came that was what i remembered the most. Lastly the Turkey and Beef brisket were cooked very well. They both had a wonderful smokiness to and were fresh off the smoker. He literally made them to order from when i ordered earlier that day by text message to when i picked them up a few hours later. Again I will come here again. It's a bit of a drive for me to go there, but it is definitely worth the drive.
