    Fried chicken, Sweet corn pancake
    Jamie F.

Food and service were top notch. The chicken was so crispy and honestly some of the best Kim chi I've ever had. The corn pancake was amazing. Portions are huge. The only complaint is they are not in my home town but I will definitely be back when I'm in the area next year

Amazing gem of a restaurant! Fantastic food, huge portions, and super efficient staff. Every dish was delicious, and seasoned to perfection. The garlic chicken was crispy on the outside, and hot and juicy on the inside. The stew was warm and had the perfect amount of spice. Our friends had nothing but compliments for their dishes as well! For a non-alc option, definitely recommend the peach tea!

I think this place is great vibes. It's open late, and honestly an amazing place to come for some late night drinking and snacks. The service is also awesome; the servers are super nice and attentive; they refilled the banchan as soon as they saw that we were finished. The banchan was probably my favorite part; the soft tofu was a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The picked radish and the kimchi were also fresh, crispy, and yummy. We got the bulgogi, sweet and spicy chicken, and the kongbination. I think of the entrees, the bulgogi was my favorite. The ratio of meat to veggies was good; the meat was tender and had that classic sweet bulgogi flavor. The sweet and spicy chicken was interesting. We didn't know it was going to come with salad and fires (this could be a pro or con depending on who you are). The chicken itself was cooked pretty good; it was tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The sauce on top is Mae Ploy sweet and spicy sauce (the stuff you dip your spring rolls in at Thai restaurants). I think this really threw me off. it wasn't bad, but I think I was expecting some kind of gochujang/ gochugaru based sweet and spicy sauce. Again, the Mae Ploy sauce did throw we off a lot. The Kongbination was okay; it was the bulgogi, the sweet and spicy chicken, and spicy pork. Two of the three things we already ordered on its own (this was our fault) so the pork was the only new thing. Overall, nothing really wowed me. That being said, I will definitely be coming here again. The vibes are great. I definitely want to come back and try different things on their menu. I also definitely will be getting drinks too next time.

I've only gotten to eat here once and the food is little pricier than typical Korean pub IMO, the portion and quality of food you get is worth it. The staff are super friendly, and the place is hip and cozy. We tried Rose ddukbokgi which was flavorful but not spicy. I wish they have regular ddukbokgi though. Fried chicken was battered and fried perfectly. It is a great place to grab a late night snack and few drinks.

The food is to die for. Soo good!!! Service they are so friendly. Tried to communicate with Deaf couple. It was so sweet. The ambiance it is a bit dark but they were so sweet they turn up the light for us Friendly and fast. I'd recommend this. Quiet too!! Even better.

Their chicken platter with fries and salad seems like a classic, but was not a fan. Fries were soggy and the chicken batter was crunchy not crispy, thick and heavy. Rice cakes were underwhelming. The sauce was good but thin and didnt coat the ricecakes well so itself a bit bland. Now their brisket on the other hand was phenomenal. The vibes are perfect with staple pocha food, but in terms of good food I'd go another place, especially with many options a bit north. Maybe should've tried their udon which a lot of people seem to recommend.

Kong Pocha is one of those places that instantly makes you feel like a regular. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is energetic, welcoming, and effortlessly cool, exactly what you want from a great pocha. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between lively and comfortable, making it ideal for both casual nights out and longer hangouts with friends. The food is the real standout. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Portions are generous, the menu has excellent variety, and everything comes out hot, fresh, and satisfying. It's the kind of place where you keep saying, "We should order one more thing," because nothing misses. Add in attentive service and a fun, late-night energy, and Kong Pocha easily becomes a go-to spot. If you're looking for great food, a memorable vibe, and a place that feels authentic rather than forced, this is it. I'll absolutely be back.

I LOVE KONG POCHA!!! They're open late so it's a great spot to just have a late night dinner or a spot to talk and chat with a friend with while eating delicious authentic Korean food! The inside feels like you're inside a cool night club and the staff is beyond nice! I absolutely love coming here. I got carrots one night and was so sad that I was leaving lol The restrooms are clean, the prices are reasonable, the patrons are huge so if you get a whole chicken, expect to share it with someone. Overall this place is a 10/5 for me and I recommend them without a doubt.

Big portions and great service. Such a nice space to just hang and talk. The food is always a good touch too. Not too spicy and way more than you would expect to be getting.

Got the KONGPINATION bowl. Hit the spot, no complaints. Good amount of portions, perfect for one hungry adult but I couldnt finish it in one sitting. Easy Korean comfort food. Nice place to be. Packed with people socializing on a Friday night. Missed to take a few pics of the ambiance but trust me you'd enjoy your Chimek (치맥) here after work.

We came through on Sunday night with a party of four after long time staking this place and reading reviews. The decor is cozy and intimate. The sweet and spicy wings came out very nicely, highly recommend. The tteokboki was the my favorite dish of the night. Service was friendly and attentive. Thank you for the awesome time!

6.21.25 Delicious Korean cuisine with fast and friendly service. Highly recommend the kongbination as you get three types of meat: beef, chicken, and pork. You can add curry for an extra $1 or cheese for an extra $2. I added the cheese which was melted on the rice. So yummy!! Notes: -Use QR code at the table to view menu. I was unaware and was waiting for my server to bring one until I asked him. -They are closed on Tuesdays and open daily at 4pm and stay open until 1:30-2a.m. depending on day.

The entire staff is friendly, professional and ready to lend a hand at every turn. I want to give a big salute to The Mission BBQ Family !!! Now, I know I said, they're more than just food... Well, the food takes on a life of its own. I'm talking absolutely mouth watering delicious ( every dish ) I stopped here for the first time because I was craving a slow cooked smoked cheeseburger... and I was satisfied from the very first bite ( and the seasoned fries complemented the burger like a puzzle piece !! ) the burger was my dine in order... I also ordered turkey & pulled chicken to take home for dinner. And when I tell you if I could, I would have done a back flip at how scrumptious and tender the meat was ( compliments to the chef for being super on point with his seasoning and grill game ! ) Now my question to the establishment is who created the side of the day ? "Broccoli salad" This hands down was the best side I ever tasted... it was like a form of broccoli coleslaw that hit the right tune with my tastebuds ( this is a must have... which means I'll be back out Columbia Crossings within the next week or two !!! ) FYI: Their summer lemonade is the perfect concoction to wash down every awesome meal on their menu !!!! How was this my first time hearing of Mission BBQ.... Lucky Me !!!!

The place was packed and the hostess tried her best, but we were eventually sat at two rocking chairs at 6:25. Not ideal to eat, but at that point, we took what we could get. We ordered food and drinks about 10 minutes later. Food came relatively quickly, but drinks took 30+ minutes, not an exaggeration. The waitress was super friendly and apologetic, but you could tell everyone who worked there was stressed. Food should never come before drinks, but it's next level when you're done your food before they arrive. Don't take reservations if it's going to be a free for all and you can't honor them. Just roll with a first come, first serve policy. Also, they need a manager/floor general on concert nights. Too much chaos in a place trying to exemplify "chill," but someone overseeing the floor at a high level could've kept things moving and assisted overburdened wait staff. Finally, move the host stand to a better location. It's in a super awkward spot, so a lot of folks are forced wait in tight quarters right next to people who are seated. Great concept, but needs some upgrades in management and logistics, especially on concert nights. Will I go again? Maybe, but with tempered expectations. Hopefully they'll staff up and get things corrected.

The menu offers a nice balance between curated bowls and build-your-own options, and everything on display looked vibrant and genuinely fresh. Even the subtle aroma of garlic in the air set the tone in the best way. I don't usually go for chicken (I cook enough of it at home), but being from Hawaii, there was no way I was passing up on their limited-time Huli Huli chicken. For those unfamiliar, traditional Huli Huli chicken is typically bone-in, skin-on, soaked in a brine, marinated with a blend of soy sauce, ginger, brown sugar, garlic, and pineapple juice maybe rice vinegar or ketchup, it's all left to the cook. Basted several times as the meat is flipped until fully cooked. Back home, you don't just eat it--you experience it. You smell it long before you see it--grilling on those iconic half oil drum kettles along the roadside, often set up for fundraisers or local gatherings. The sight of chicken quarters being flipped ("huli" means "turn") and basted over open flames is pure island nostalgia. So yes, expectations were high. I was offered a sample, and it delivered. The flavor balance was spot on--savory, slightly sweet, and deeply satisfying. The chicken itself was moist and tender. The only thing missing was that classic crispy, charred skin and the full leg quarter presentation you'd find back home--but even so, it didn't disappoint and left me wanting more. My bowl came together beautifully with coconut sweet potato sauce, fresh spinach, garlicky cilantro green beans, and basmati rice. It was flavorful, well-balanced, and delicious. Service was another highlight--the staff was friendly, patient and helpful with recommendations. The space itself is not large to eat in but it was clean, bright with ocean-toned blues that nod to its island inspiration. I'll definitely be back--especially while that Huli Huli chicken is still on the menu.
