We had a very enjoyable brunch here. The mimosa tower was a big hit - it's like a beer tower that bars drag out for football games that lets you pour your own drinks. Much more fun than a pitcher. The chicken and waffles were enormous, as were the biscuits. Two of us shared the bbq sampler platter and we still took half of it home. The biscuits, ribs, and grits were the stars. The bbq sauces were all very good options and the server was very friendly and helpful.

Experienced a really great visit at the Hideaway tonight. Spent time with a great friend where we had some good smoked food. Server was fantastic and friendly. Food was hot, the salmon was delicious and the smoked fried chicken was over the top. Once again, there was another really good visit to the Hideaway.

Pleasantly surprised! I happened to be in the area and was just looking for somewhere to eat. This place did not disappoint. The salmon was a generous portion. Each of my sides were delicious. I wish our entrees came with cornbread. Our waiter Daniel kept our drinks refilled before we could even think about asking for a refill. I look forward to coming back and I already know what I would order next time!

The hideaway is a classic local spot with that exact feel inside. The staff's friendly from the moment you walk in until the time you leave. I ordered the award winning wings that are absolutely delicious and a beet salad to bring balance to my meal. The happy hour is crucial and I would certainly be back in the future to enjoy this place.

So yummy .... Been missing out on this hidden gem. Everything was good ... Julie was an amazing server. The hostess tried to sit us on the carry out side it was freezing .... We asked to be move that almost reflected my review but Julie and the food made up for it . Delicious homemade ice cream as well.

Chicken pot pie after topping was eaten. The only good thing about the dish.

Ordered the chicken pot pie and it was so thick and full of carrots, potatoes and peas that there was barely amy chicken in it. I ate the top crust and thankfully had a side salad but as you can see I paid @ $18 for something I did not like. When the waitress asked if I needed to go box, I said no it wasn't that good. She did not offer to bring those comments to the owner or the chef or offer discount.

F O O D I got the Catfish and Chips! It was a little fishy tasting, like it was pre soaked overnight, but it was still good! The breading was just right and not too hard. S E R V I C E We came in a larger group (class from school) and the waiter was on it! He did a great job, but my only suggestion is to bring pitchers of water to the tables and not run back and forth filling individual glasses. That seemed to take up a lot of his valuable time that could've been better used.

Have t been here in 10 years!! .. 7-22-26 was the day My LOOOVE said he was hungry as hell because he had to fast the day before so right after his appointment we headed straight to The Hideaway!!...not feeling good I can't eat ;( so this is for my Folks! My LOOOVE got the Fatty Melt!!- two grilled cheeses in between is a burger with lettuce tomato and caramelized onions I think & comes with One side of your choice he got fries!. & got mama The Whiskey Salmon! with mashed potatoes and collards!.. I added on the huspuppies and potato salad... home review!- Mama LOOOVEd the whiskey salmon the flavors and crispy whiskey smoked ends and the glaze it came with was EVERYTHING!!!! she said next time she'll get two! But the salmon itself was sooo sooo good!!. The greens were too vinagary but still made with grandmas hand!! She enjoyed the mashed potatoes and gravy was goood!!.. she crushed the hush puppies, the potato salad was okay! Bettter than 2Fifty (bbq spot) but still keeps the potato a little firm and liked it had eggs and onion at least. LOOOVE really enjoyed his Big Fatty Melt full of flavor and had to eat it in bites it was such a lot of sandwich!!.. gives you the Itis Immediately!! . The Ambiance was chill wasn't packed they had been opened maybe 2hrs when we got there!!. The area is in the Cut for real don't go too fast or you'll miss it!!... iiif I'm feeling better I'm going back for my Signsture smoked fried wings!!! And my Uncle recommends The Ribs!!! . Definitely will come again but sit outside! . The flavors are very good

Came back with the fan to give them another shot, and I'm really glad we did. The wings were back up to par and the brisket was very tender this time, not dry.

If I could go 4 1/2 stars I would! My family and I are having a heated debate on whether I should be giving five stars. The cream of crab with the corn in it is chowder esque and it is so good. It's ridiculous. My sons had the brisket sandwiches and there was nothing left. My wife and I split the sampler and did not disappoint! The collard greens and the brussels sprouts will make you count your blessings. They were phenomenal the ribs. The brisket, the wings were off the chain. The service staff was phenomenal, especially our waitress Katie was so engaged. In the food came out quickly and hot. This might be another go to spot. The atmosphere is great a mix between a good restaurant and a good barbecue joint.

It was awhile since I had been here but my review is still the same. They changed up the bar area a bit though. This was where I had my first smoked old fashioned years ago, so I had to get one during my recent visit. I also tried the "gold rush" (bourbon based) and highly recommend it. We sat at the bar. Service was great. Had to the get their blackberry chipotle wings. Yummy! Tried the jalapeño eggrolls and it was tasty but not spicy enough. I saw when they were making a mimosa tower. I would need a few others to help me with one of those. Maybe next time, brunch here will be the move!

Yesterday, we stopped in, and my friend convinced me to try the center-cut pork chops with mushroom Marsala sauce. The pork chops were excellent, with a nice char from the grill, perfect cooking, and plenty of juices. However, the dish had no Marsala flavor at all, which was disappointing. If the menu had simply described it as a brown sauce, I would have loved it, but I was expecting a specific flavor that wasn't there. Even so, I was still very pleased with the meal. I also had the wedge salad, which is one of my favorites here, and I can never get enough of their blue cheese dressing. For my side, I chose the bacon potatoes au gratin. They were very rich but extremely flavorful. Overall, this place once again did not disappoint, and we will definitely be back.

Introduction to this place, Meetup group, & my health update:…read more I thought I finished my America 250 series when I finished with the states on Tuesday, 8/18 review, but I'm adding one more I just went to last Tuesday, 8/25. It's got American in the title; so I wanted to include this. I had heard about this place from Meetup groups and wanted to try this at some point. A Meetup group was meeting here, and I was like I should go because I wanted to try this place. This Meetup mostly does stuff in the Annapolis-Severna Park area but occasionally goes to western AA. The 3 Meetups I attended with this group in 2026 were all less than 10 miles from my home 2 in Arundel Mills area & 1 here. Further, I wanted to be social as times will be very difficult in the fall as I will be having to do High dose chemo with stem cell replacement. So, it's possible I have 0 Yelp reviews in October-November time period. My first Meetup of 2026 was on January 3, and then January 5 I found out about major surgery related to the metastatic cancer occurring with standard chemo in summer 2025. The other Meetup with them in 2026 was a Circus, which wasn't that good. If I could summarize 2026 in a word, I think Circus is a fair choice. Experience with restaurant: This place was a mixed bag. It's got a Texas Roadhouse kind of vibe. But in summary, I'd choice Texas Roadhouse any day over this although this had some good aspects. Service was a bit slow, but we were a large group, so it wasn't anything unreasonable. My issue was that they were disorganized. They were asking around who had this side salad or that side salad. They should've figured who was sitting where in a table to give the individual the correct item instead of asking 25 or so people in our party. I got the 12 oz Sirloin steak with comes with one premium & one regular side. For premium side, I was between one of the 2 salads and the chili. I read that the chili was kind of sweet plus I already was getting 12 oz Sirloin. I asked the difference between the Wedge & All-American salad. He said Wedge has bacon, blue cheese, etc., and All-American has cheese, tomato, & croutons. I did NOT want bacon and preferred standard cheddar over blue cheese. They were trying to get a couple of the salads out. They said House salad, which I assumed was the All-American salad. I said no, that has bacon on it. So, we finally figured out after several more minutes that it was that. Why did the server FAIL to mention bacon was on that?! I would've still gotten the All-American salad and said no bacon or possibly tried to switch out with a different ingredient. So, I was incredibly annoyed. I picked the bacon out with my fork setting off on the side of the plate. Very shortly after we figured out salad situation, my sirloin & sweet potato came out. So, I finished my salad. Then, I was starting on 2 bites of the sweet potato, which I will say was great. But I decided I better get to the steak before it got cold and then come back to the sweet potato afterward since that was hot and more insulated to stay hot. While the steak had a pretty good flavor, it was just semi-warm. It still should've been hot as it wasn't that long after I was still eating my salad where they failed to mention bacon on it. I sure as hell wasn't going to eat my steak before finishing my salad. It was maybe about 5 minutes after the steak arrived by the time I got to the steak; so it should've been hot. My one friend would've taken it back, but I don't want to waste time, disrupt my flow of eating, not to mention server never came around to ask how things were. So, I enjoyed the steak well enough for the flavor, but the lukewarm made it not as good. Texas Roadhouse, Outback, & LongHorn is far superior in terms of steak. But I wanted a steak since it's All-American STEAKhouse, not All-American Burgerhouse, Philly Cheesesteakhouse, Saladhouse, etc. Another thing that was bizarre & disorganized was that while in the middle of my steak & people's food in general, the dinner rolls came out. Normally, dinner rolls come out before the meal not in the middle of it. The dinner rolls were delicious; I had 2 of them with lots of butter. This was my favorite thing I ate here. But as great as the rolls were here, Texas Roadhouse is superior once again in terms of rolls. I'm not a big drinker, but I noticed on their daily special Tuesday $3 wine. That was so low, I decided I'll take advantage of that getting a Chardonnay. I had low expectations for $3, but it was surprisingly good. In summary, the great food items were rolls & sweet potato. Steak was kind of weak especially considering lukewarm. Salad was good, but they failed to mention bacon. I wouldn't necessarily go back, but if I ever I did, I'd try the Philly cheesesteak (now that I had their steak), which the guy across from me said he enjoyed and ideally it'd be a Tuesday $3 wine night.

I've never been before, but the location was convenient for everybody to get to. There was an event for DeWalt tools going on this night, so the main bar was locked off for their event. We sat in a booth that overlooked the main area. It had a great vantage point to watch all of the big screen TVs. It seems like they only had one waitress working, which seemed to be well understaffed for the amount of people they had. I think there was another one, but she was exclusively in the private party area. First, I ordered a Stella and a sampler platter. The platter came with traditional wings, cheesesteak, eggrolls, seasoned crinkle, fries, and crab bites. All the food was pretty good. The wings were fried then tossed in the sauce so they were still relatively crispy. A good heat level for the original buffalo sauce that they used. The crab bites were pretty good. They had a lot of extra things in it that I'm not used to like peppers, but they were still enjoyable. The season fries were delicious. I don't know what kind of seasoning they put on them, but it was slightly sweet and savory at the same time. A cheesesteak egg rolls were very cheesy, but the meat inside was tender. There was a DJ there for Monday Night Football. Seems like a hard task because he had to entertain everyone on commercial breaks. The waitress was very friendly. She had just started so she didn't know about a lot of the menu items. The only issue came when I ordered a old-fashioned. They brought something out, but it did not look or it taste like an old-fashioned and it was in a tiny glass. Tasted like some type of fruit punch the poor waitress didn't know what to do and said that the bartender informed her that they measured everything out but they were missing some of the ingredients for a proper old-fashioned. Rather strange since all you need is three basic ingredients ‍. Whatever it was, she took it back. Everyone in our group that ordered a cocktail was very disappointed so I would not trust their bartender. For the rest of the evening I just stuck to beer. Overall food good viewing good drinks bad. I would definitely come back to watch a game.

When I got my sandwich, it looked pretty hefty - a good amount of beef for $10! But it looked more well done - far from medium rare. Took a couple of bites and was underwhelmed. It was bland and under seasoned. I had to go up to the condiment bar to mix myself up some horsey sauce - mayo + horseradish. It helped, but was still disappointed that the beef itself was so bland.
