Fantastic dirty martini!! Great local spot that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed with fabulous food. The collard greens are a winner! The Brussel Sprouts are fantastic! The sauces do the proteins are tantalizing and im addicted to the peach bourbon. The bartender was wonderful and the kitchen was great with efficiency for our to go order with No Mistakes!

Came back with the fan to give them another shot, and I'm really glad we did. The wings were back up to par and the brisket was very tender this time, not dry.

If I could go 4 1/2 stars I would! My family and I are having a heated debate on whether I should be giving five stars. The cream of crab with the corn in it is chowder esque and it is so good. It's ridiculous. My sons had the brisket sandwiches and there was nothing left. My wife and I split the sampler and did not disappoint! The collard greens and the brussels sprouts will make you count your blessings. They were phenomenal the ribs. The brisket, the wings were off the chain. The service staff was phenomenal, especially our waitress Katie was so engaged. In the food came out quickly and hot. This might be another go to spot. The atmosphere is great a mix between a good restaurant and a good barbecue joint.

F O O D I got the Catfish and Chips! It was a little fishy tasting, like it was pre soaked overnight, but it was still good! The breading was just right and not too hard. S E R V I C E We came in a larger group (class from school) and the waiter was on it! He did a great job, but my only suggestion is to bring pitchers of water to the tables and not run back and forth filling individual glasses. That seemed to take up a lot of his valuable time that could've been better used.

Stopped by on a whim last night and I'm so glad we did. Easy parking, friendly hostess, phenomenal server (Matt) and the food did not miss. Ordered the dry spicy-hot wings (bruhhhhh, award winning for a reason), an orange crush, brisket with collard greens and Mac and cheese, and the burnt tips on pilaf with their signature cornbread. Everything was excellent! They have a bar-side with high tops and a dining-side with tables and booths. Outside had stringed lights and I'm sure it's a vibe when the weather is mild. Timing on drinks, app, and meals was perfect. Thanks yall. We'll be back soon.

Blackberry chipotle wings w bluecheese (house made) and ranch - A white round plate holds several smoked barbecue chicken wings coated in a glossy sauce. The wings are arranged with some overlapping. Alongside the wings are celery and carrot sticks, cut into strips. Two small black cups contain ranch dressing, placed near the vegetables. The presentation suggests a casual dining setting focused on barbecue cuisine.

It was awhile since I had been here but my review is still the same. They changed up the bar area a bit though. This was where I had my first smoked old fashioned years ago, so I had to get one during my recent visit. I also tried the "gold rush" (bourbon based) and highly recommend it. We sat at the bar. Service was great. Had to the get their blackberry chipotle wings. Yummy! Tried the jalapeño eggrolls and it was tasty but not spicy enough. I saw when they were making a mimosa tower. I would need a few others to help me with one of those. Maybe next time, brunch here will be the move!

My husband and I went here for brunch today. We used to go to this restaurant decades ago when it was called Jim's Hideaway. Walking in, we noticed that the dining room we were sat in was pretty empty. We were seated pretty quickly. They seemed to put everybody in the other dining room. I'm not sure why we were exiled! The decor is a little bit rustic and definitely could use some repairs. We are not huge barbecue fans, but there were items on the brunch menu that we enjoy at other breakfast spots so we thought we would give them a try. I ordered the Belgian waffle, which came with a huge amount of whipped cream. It was a bit too much for my liking. The fruit, candied, pecans, and lemon sauce were good. The waffle itself was cooked fine, but it could have been a little crispy. My husband is a huge chicken and waffle fan and not many restaurants. Serve bone in chicken on their chicken and waffles so he was looking forward to that. Unfortunately, we should have thought about the fact that it's a barbecue spot. His chicken was not battered and fried. It was Smoked. So, it wasn't the usual chicken and waffles. If you'd like barbecue, you will probably enjoy this restaurant, whether it be for brunch or any other meal. This is not the spot for us.

We've been to the Hideaway many times, but never for Happy Hour. In a word, fantastic! We loved the burnt end tacos. We actually loved all of it, but the sauce on the tacos was really memorable. Just the right spice! Friendly bartenders made it really nice after a bad day at work and shout out to John the manager who asked us about our experience. We were really happy and will be back to partake of happy hour again soon!

Hush Puppies Award Winning Wings - The image shows a restaurant table with a plate of fried chicken wings, a small bowl of butter or dipping sauce, and a bowl of hush puppies with a black napkin underneath. A glass of water with ice and a straw, along with a smartphone, are also visible on the table. The setting appears to be casual dining, with a focus on fried foods.

I give The Hideaway 5 stars because of the fact that those dang Award Winning Wings (dry hot) are a BANGER every SINGLE time. They are ALWAYS so hot and seasoned to perfection! The ONLY complaint I have is that you can't do an all-flats/all-drumettes order. Otherwise, I will come here exclusively for the wings. Now, I have tried other things here, and lots of them are also delicious, such as the hush puppies, the jalapeno brisket rolls, and the crabby fries. The one thing I would not order again is the mac and cheese. I know it's a preference thing; I just don't like the style of their mac and cheese, and if you know, you know! The staff is always awesome, very accommodating, especially because this place is really popular with military, so more often than not they are dealing with large parties. The place is actually quite large also, so they are able to host multiple large parties at once as well as smaller groups throughout the restaurant. The parking can be a mess if you go at a busy time, but if you don't, the lot has plenty of spots and goes all around the building.

Has anyone used their catering service? I know the food is great but have a nervous bride (my daughter)--need the catering to go very smoothly!!!

Hey, Donna! Hopefully, someone else will answer, other than me, but we (outside) cater an average of twice every day... and have for several years now. Having catered 40-50 weddings and countless other events, we are VERY good at what we do. And,… Read more

She was so excited she rented the party room and paid a lot to have the food catered. We had 56 people so a very large party but the room just managed to fit everyone, however it was a very tight fit. We had two servers Braiden and a tall gentleman who were helping out but it appears it might of been too much for them to handle on their own. The food was taking forever and one table didn't get service until about an hour and half in. By the time I got up to get my food everything was already gone! There were three shrimp left in the pan and we only saw the tall guy twice through the whole visit (they should have been checking on people more frequently) someone should be stopping by and reachable every 20 minutes as it was a lot of people with a fixed menu so it shouldn't have been this difficult. If they were doing the checks like they were supposed to, there wouldn't have been empty pans with people upset they missed a round of food. I never got to get any of the other options because by the time the second round of food did come it was already gone (this tells you people were hungry) and no one came to replace the food in a timely manner. My aunt and uncle were so disappointed as we trusted them with a big event like a 70th Birthday and they definitely missed the mark here. We've had great experiences at Copper Canyon with the same amount of people for my Aunt's Birthday with no issue, great service and great food. The food here was also not great and took far too long. What were they doing? Making each pan once the other ran out? You need to be ready to replace ASAP no one wants to wait until they lose their appetite to get their food. You need to be at the very least doing refills and then checking the pans periodically. This was not done and it was such a disappointment to my uncle he actually pulled our service to the side and told him this was not the level of service we expected for how much money we spent here. Others also ordered drinks and food on top of the menu that was fixed so they definitely made a lot off this party for them to do us this dirty is unacceptable. I don't usually write reviews this bad but it was really a terrible experience for everyone and felt like a complete waste of money. This is a nice spot if you want something quick but for parties this size they are ill-prepared. Please save yourself the time and embarrassment and look at other options because this definitely was not it and they knew they weren't able to accommodate this size party with just two people and it showed in the level of service they provided. I was so disappointed I only ordered a drink and pushed away my plate. The shrimp tasted weird to me and I love seafood, plus we never got to have all the options like sliders they had on the menu is how slow they were to replace the pans. Everyone commented on how long they were taking and how the food was not good here. This was a negative star experience - skip this place if you care about who you bring here. I wouldn't even bring someone I didn't like very much here honestly. Normalize letting companies know when and where they miss the mark so they can improve because man let me tell you I'd want my money back if it was me.
