    Outside seating!

Not dog friendly! We came here for a special experience for our dog on Mother's Day. We talked about it all week long. No seating outside is what we were told but look at the picture with a couple dozen of people outside. So disappointing!

Nice view off the dock, was really nice while we were there! Storm forced us inside, where we sat at the bar and enjoyed our drinks while the rain came in. Everyone was very friendly! They have TVs all over so great for watching sports, and they quickly changed the channel when requested. Drinks were yummy, we tried the orange crush and broken oar lager (on HH they are $5 and $3 respectively!). Food we did the chips and dips (queso, guac, and salsa)- the chips might have been a little stale but the guac was phenomenal. Sushi we did the Ripken roll and the samurai roll. It was definitely different than your typical sushi so that was fun, but I didn't love the yellowtail so I just had the Ripken with the crab meat- which was really good!

My friend and I went here for brunch, and the food was great! One thing that I loved is that we brought our dogs with us... It was a little chilly, but luckily outside has heat lamp posts which were really helpful. The service was great and helpful when it came to deciding on items to try. The staff was really friendly and engaging with our dogs. The food was good and the price was sufficient. I would return!

My friend and I met here for a girl's night happy hour and we had a great time, even on a snowy night! The location is beautiful overlooking Nabbs Creek, which flows into the Patapsco. The marina is tucked away into the trees on a long winding road and the view is gorgeous when you pull in. The staff were all so friendly and attentive, they all took care of us and made sure we were taken care of every time they passed by. For drinks, I had their three mocktails and they were delicious. My friend had the same drinks but with alcohol and we really liked sipping on them and chatting. We split the crab dip pretzel and fried pickles, which really hit the spot. I also got the Broken Oar Burger and the chicken Caesar salad wrap to go. I ate them with my husband when I got home and they were super yummy with lots of flavor. I'd definitely come back here again, and I'd love to arrive by boat next time!

Had some apps and orange crushes on the deck outside! Great spot on the water! Food was yummy and drinks were great!

Sittin' at the dock of the bay... on a beautiful, clear evening.

Tucked away off the main path, The Broken Oar not only bares a unique name but truly a locals spot. It is exactly what you'd expect next to a small marina. The evening I got lost and found myself here, the place was bustling with patrons, and almost everyone opted for outside seating under the bright sky and crisp evening air. Menu offerings are seasonal, and drinks are solid! Calamari to munch with my drink came out crisp and hot. I also tried the pub fish and chips, and it was good! Cod was a decent size, but I dont care for too much grease. I prefer them flaky and flavorful. The chips were light and addicting lol! If you like smokey mezcal, definitely try their pineapple crush here. Strong 14oz. and great balance of sweet! I enjoyed the live music at the venue. The crowd here is full of locals and that vibe! Outdoor seating weather permitting is abundant, and I can see why it can get crowded. I appreciated the many well-behaved furbabies hanging out on deck the day of my visit! Accessibility is available to the outdoor space and bar. The ramp is located right before the steps to the restaurant entrance. Both indoor and outdoor bars are available. The marina is a tranquil place for after dinner walk. Please be mindful of the private spaces and boat slips at the dock.

it's been a while since we've eaten here. Lucked out with a table in the shade on a busy summer Friday night. Major props to our server Kurt. He was on top of it. Started with calamari which I forgot to get a pic of. Our personal calamari taster (bougie 10yr old) gave a solid 4 out of 5. He then raved over his mozzarella sticks. We agreed they were superior. Hubby got the buffalo chicken wrap with tots. A healthy serving of tot! I got the field salad with salmon. A huge piece of salmon that was well cooked on a super fresh salad. Not too heavy on a warm summer night. I also enjoy the blueberry gin and tonic. Very tasty. Some nice live music and a good crowd.

Service was friendly and consistent. Food was really good. Loved the outdoor seating and watching the boats pull up to the dock. Ambience was casual and relaxed.

One of my favorite waterfront restaurants. The view is amazing. Service is excellent, never have had an issue here. They offer 20% off appetizers and sushi for happy hour and it never disappoints. 10/10 recommend!

The broken oar....... The greatest find in the Glen Burnie area!!! First, the food is always AMAZING. Second, the view is phenomenal- right on the water! And third, the staff is always super friendly and fun. They have indoor and outdoor seating but when the weather is nice- nothing beats sitting on the dock and enjoying some food and live music! They do live music most nights! They also do happy hour from 12-6 I believe EVERYDAY!!!! I believe it's some apps, pizza, sushi, beer and wine, and select crushes! Get the creamsicle crush... it's seriously so good and tastes exactly like one! The strawberry lemon one is also good and taste like candy!! I've been a couple times and alwayyysssss get the crabby fries. They are the best in the area, hands down. I've had other places but nothing matches these. They do not skimp!!! Sushi is always fresh and delicious! The pizza isn't the best I've ever had but it's still good! The honey old bay wings are another item I get everytime I go because they are drowned in sauce and SO GOOD!!

My server, Travis, was very friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout my visit. I started with a cup of French onion soup, and it was so good that I came back today just to order another cup. That alone says a lot. Yesterday I also ordered the Eldersburg Burger, cooked medium-well, paired with their hand-cut fries. This burger was juicy and flavorful--honestly tasted like something you'd get at a family cookout. The fries were delicious and complemented the burger perfectly. I also have to mention the sweet iced tea--it tastes fresh-brewed and has the perfect balance of sweetness. Today, even though I wasn't very hungry, I tried the crab dip. While it wasn't my absolute favorite, it was still good. I also sampled the carrot cake, which unfortunately was a bit dry for my liking. That said, I'll definitely be back--especially on Mondays, when burgers are $8 (with toppings at $1 each, and totally worth it). My server today also let me know about Wing Wednesday: 1 lb of wings for $8, any flavor. Say less! I'm already planning another visit so I can finally try the cream of crab soup, which is made daily. Can't wait to see if it lives up to the hype. Overall, Oscar's Alehouse delivers solid food, great service, and awesome weekly specials. See you soon!

Walked in and maybe about 10 customers with some at the bar and some at the tables. We went up to the bar grabbed a couple of seats and bartender asked what we wanted. We let her know it was our first visit to which she replied with an unenthusiastic "...welcome". That was it. I then asked what draft beer they had and she condescendingly let me know that "we don't have draft beer". Maybe it's just me but when people come into a bar that doesn't have a kitchen or draft beer for the first time the bartender/server might want to lead with those 2 tidbits of information. Also maybe 1. Since you don't have draft beer, is there other stuff you don't have that most people would think would be there? 2. How does the ordering food work with the food truck? Do we go get it ourselves or do we order inside? 3. If we're there during happy hour, which I think we were (I'm still not sure) maybe let us know what the food and drink specials are. 4. Even if we're not here during happy hour, since it's our first time there maybe you let us know when happy hours and specials are anyway for future reference. As for the rest of the visit, we got 2 beers and listened to the bartender break down boxes and complain to other staff the whole time. I guess we'll try them again now that we know the deal.
