Very friendly staff, heavy pours, great outdoor seating area! Prices are very reasonable. There is always an open pool table. Plenty of parking.

Duke's Tavern (from the water) looks like a private home, but don't let looks deceive you!

Good staff. Friendly waterfront bar. Bright inside so even with beer goggles you'll see what your getting into.

Food and service were great! Greeted promptly with great energy from Sara. Ordered a few drinks,…read moreseveral apps, and some waters. Service was great throughout our visit with both Sara and Tom. We would love to come back ordered lemon pepper wings (crispy!), surf and turf quesadilla, and mozzarella sticks. Really appreciate the friendly environment, we don't always find that in the Dena.

I said OK and started a thinking where I might eat dinner. Five minutes later I drive by the Office bar and Grill on Mountain Road. well I've never eaten there. Let's give it a try. One, Service was really good. And I was not sure what to expect. But it was good. I'm not sure what the bartender's names were, or bar backs. But all three or four of them seem to work together really well together. OK, OK onto the food. I ordered six wings, because typically wings in this area aren't... Very good. I wish I would've ordered 10. I ordered them crispy, hot, and with ranch. I know, ranch I get it. They were incredibly tasty, cooked well, but not burnt. And well worth the $8. Then I ordered a Smashburger, the Office one. Honestly, figuring it was gonna be OK at best. That Smashburger is by far the best Smashburger, or regular burger, in the area. You're welcome to argue. And for $13, I'll be going back. And I got a $4 Yuengling. If I had a complaint, it was a little loud, but it is a Friday evening.

Let me start by saying this is a positive 3 star review and I'm not trying to destroy this…read moreestablishment. Everyone was so nice and it's really a big and cool layout. With that said, this place is not for everyone. Sadly it was frustrating alone dealing with the parking situation. I parked so far away! Next, there was a band playing music, cool, but don't know any of their songs or the covers they were doing. The other room was 100% line dancing that if you didn't know it, you stayed off the dance floor and stand in place. There's a bull riding area that I saw a professional bull rider do tricks and that was cool and they intimidating. The drinks were really good and not overpriced! Star for that! And finally I just didn't have fun and I'm actually a dancer. I think you either love it or hate it. I didn't hate it, but I probably wouldn't come back again.

We love traveling to different line dancing communities, experiencing new places, and connecting with people through dancing. That's what makes situations like this so upsetting. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed and respected, regardless of their religion or appearance. The line dance world is a very connected community, and experiences like this naturally get talked about. I just hope this establishment reflects on the kind of environment they want to create moving forward, because this was deeply disappointing to hear about and unacceptable.

Food is okay. Ambiance is an underwhelming old paneled bar out of the 1960s--could be cool in that…read moreregard, but unfortunately it is just a shabby, completely non-diverse, locals dive bar. Service is disappointing, with the most frustrating aspect being the surprise when I went to pay my tab on a credit card, the bartender explained that "the tips can only be in cash" as she handed me my already closed-out ticket and credit card slip to sign. I asked her to explain. She stated that "it was the owner's policy". What that really means for those of us with an accounting background, is that the owner cares so little about his employees' future, and cares so little about his country and the state of Maryland, that he is deliberately hiding the tipped wages that the public provides to his wait staff/bartenders. So, at the end of each month, he deposits far less into the Maryland State Unemployment Tax account than he is required to and far less into the Federaul Unemployment Tax Account that is required. Additionally, he gets away with paying less of the employer portion of the FICA taxes. And, when the employees reach retirement age, they will have a smaller Social Security check because his illegal choice to conceal their actual earnings means their SSA account shows lower wages.
