Pleasantly Surprised would be the title of my review. I had never been to Perry's but saw it on Groupon and decided to give it a shot. I got the gyro platter and the chicken breast with rice, tomato and onions. Everything was solid, not the best I've had but good especially for the value (good prices and portions). The young waitress was attentive to everyone coming in and getting their orders together. The voucher says food to go, but I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue eating there. Accidentally came here, but it turned out to be a good time. We actually meant to go to Odie's, which is actually downstairs but came here first. Neither of us had been here before. They were so nice, we decided to stay awhile. I like the vibe! You can tell most of the people who come are regulars. A band was playing live music. Folks got on the dance floor and were having a great time. I liked that! They have some happy hour specials. I wasn't hungry so didn't try any of the food, but the menu looked great and the stuff I saw being brought out smelled really good. I would come back again. I took my wife here for some Kareoke fun on our Anniversary. It starts at 7pm so we arrived at 6:30. We never even got to sing one song. We saw multiple people the KJ knew come in, talk to her and sing 3/4 times. We tried to ask the KJ, Sam. That did not go over very well. I really just wanted to show my wife a good time. The restaurant catered an office holiday luncheon, the catering options were chicken Marsala, seafood creole, beef kebabs, rice, Californian medley vegetables and salad. We also had the associated mini cheesecakes. For the cost, the portions were small and only provided one single tray of food. The Marsala and creole dishes were very liquified and lack seasoning. The beef was chewy. The room was nice and roomy for 45 to 50 people. The customer service was professional, accommodating and friendly. read more

The food was absolutely delicious--hot Kentucky brown sliders, pulled BBQ pork sliders with the best BBQ sauce, creamy mac and cheese, and those incredible crab balls! Not a bad spot; definitely a hole in the wall (which is a compliment). The bartender was super attentive, which was nice. He was quick too - I asked for a margarita and it was ready in less than a minute, and it was good! The food was alright. I ordered buffalo wings, mac and cheese, and potato skins. Excellent. Lamb chops are fantastic. Hubby loves the stuffed shrimp and chicken Chesapeake- again a very generous portion of crab - more than I've ever seen at any restaurant! This is a great locally owned business! I have been here numerous times since living in the area and have never been disappointed. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I have been there for breakfast as well as dinner. Their breakfast is delicious and I really love the waffles! If you get dinner there you must try their imperial skins. So good! I enjoy locally owned restaurants but you do not always get the same quality and variety sometimes. However, at Perry's you definitely will! read more

Cons- Not a very friendly staff No hand sanitizer available to guests in the open, we had to go to the bar to ask for it and the bartender gives you a small squirt. Not much to say, we came in to meet friends on a Wednesday night and honestly, our waitress was a bitch ( not dropping her name). The menu looked good but never got to eat,, My wife and I could not find a bottle of hand sanitizer in this joint to save our soul but you had to but cover for the microphone for Kareoke for a dollar,, we May or May not come back. I've always driven past this little spot and made a mental note that I'd visit one day. Yesterday was that day. I didn't love my experience at all. Yesterday was burger night meaning the burgers on the menu were half priced, all except the burger I ordered - the Oriental Burger - which I ordered Medium Rare(it ended up being medium well), with grilled onions, that were super soggy with no crisp to them, and my bun was soggy at the bottom, and my fries were like warm. I had no ketchup at the table, and asked a gentleman for some, he barely looked me in the eye, too busy watching the NBA finals on the big screen, and gave me an empty bottle of ketchup. Terrible, terrible service. My sister had just had her baby, and I was in no mood to complain, and it was pretty late, so I ate it. I gave it two stars because my waitress was nice and checked on me constantly. She even noticed the sticker on my chest from the hospital and asked about the baby, congratulating me on being an uncle. That counts to me. I just wish the food was better. And anytime you're that off with something as simple as a burger and fries, I usually don't return. read more

This place is always amazing every time we come regularly or once in awhile. I can say that the staff bartenders, servers, waitresses. Are just amazing, they make you feel like family. The food is to die for and I mean that especially for breakfast lunch and dinner. Everything and anything I have had has been great. I love the atmosphere for ravens games and the specials they run are awesome. We're all about seeking out new places but this is one 'new to us' place that we probably won't be returning to. Ended up here for breakfast on a Sunday morning around 11 am. Once we figured out how to get to the dining room entrance door from the parking lot, we stood there awkwardly waiting for a hostess. Finally an older gentleman that was dining there stood up and said "Just sit anywhere....". Ok then..... The general appearance of the restaurant is very dated and overall could use a good deep cleaning. When my first menu item was not available, the waitress suggested the sausage and gravy on biscuits which she said was really good. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst versions I've ever been served and they put the gravy on the fried potatoes so I couldn't even eat them. They did make fresh coffee for us, so there's that. read more

We decided to try Perry's after grabbing a Groupon and were glad we did. Make sure you try them at least if your out on Annapolis Road. They have two sides for those who don't want the bar feel but more of a sit down restaurant with bright lights. Parking is very easy to come by as they have their own lot and we were able to bring a baby stroller in there without problems. The service was great and food excellent. Enjoy! read more

Perry's/Odies is an interesting place. Perry's is upstairs and what you see from the street, Odies is around the back. You can also get there from inside Perry's, down some steep stairs. Perry's has live music most nights. Mostly country. Food is okay. Service is good. Drinks are strong. There's a bar and table seating. Bar service has been great at times. Odies has a much more diverse crowd but is tiny!!! A pool table, bar and a handful of seats. Thursday night there's a DJ who is very good. A local guy from the area, he plays R&B and new music, gives tixs away to concerts, comedy shows, Monster Jam, etc. Friday night is Karaoke, a lot of fun watching and listening to people sing. Saturday night another DJ. More R&B. I tried to describe Odies to one of my friends, a cool, tiny hole in the wall bar where you'll see a woman with a wedding dress on, women celebrating a birthday, men just passing thru. Mostly regulars but a lot of laughs and fun. read more

Stopped in here for the taco Tuesday special right before trivia started. The inside felt like walking into a good ole Wisconsin supper club. This was the day after the mask mandate went away, but the tables were a bit uncomfortably close together. We had attentive service, and the tacos were decent. Not something I would return for, but they have quite a large and eclectic menu (we stopped in for Taco Tuesday, it's a Greek restaurant that also serves American food). I was a bit surprised and disappointed that the fish tacos were bits of deep fried fish. The margaritas weren't great, but they have a good beer menu so I'll probably try that next time. I am slightly hesitant to go back only because it was SO HOT inside. This was before the heat wave, but it honestly felt good to step outside. We did not get a second round of drinks after eating because it was way too hot and we just wanted to leave. Still, it's a hopping place and I would like to try more of the menu.
