I'm here about twice a week for a combo salad. It's my favorite place to get a lamb and chicken over rice or salad. I also add a piece of whiting or catfish to my salad with the white and red sauce. You would be surprised because I was but they have one of the best waffles I've ever had. We normally get chicken (all thighs) and waffles or a salad. I get the kids nuggets and fries and it's more than enough for two to share. Everyone is always so friendly. Their lamb and chicken are chunks not shredded like some places. Just delicious. Back when I lived in the Woodlawn/Baltimore area, I had a lot of friends who ate Halal, and they put me on the food at Legends. The food tastes great, doesn't cost a lot, and service is relatively fast! Definitely top 3 best gyro platters I've had in my life, the combo (chicken + lamb) is my favorite option with a good amount of white sauce, and a bit of spicy. Their other options are nice as well: the Chicken Sandwich is really delicious, nicely fried so it's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, the cheese steak is alright in my opinion. They also have a College Park location which I definitely wish was around when I was attending university! Legends is definitely up there with some of the best Halal gyro spots in the DMV, no doubt. read more

The veggies and the salad that came with were plentiful and fresh. I think the rice was a little undercooked, because there were some hard pieces in some bites. Note that any extra sauce will cost you extra, but they are pretty good in heavy-handing the sauce initially anyways, which I appreciate. Staff are friendly. Sandwich was juicy and the fries and cheesecake very good. The sandwich was drowned in a creamy sauce (total napkin fest). I recommend asking for less or a side - very messy. It was 830ish when I arrived and working all day, I wanted to sit and eat. They closed at 10. No luck - an insolent, rude teen informed me she needed 1.5 hours to mop and sweep the store so "she could leave." This was beyond obnoxious. Most of the store front is a narrow corridor in front of the check out counter. I could have swept and mopped the whole store front myself in 20 minutes. I only recommend this place for take out. The priorities are less than desirable otherwise. Separate note, this place isnt right along Rolling road, but hidden in an obsure shopping center - hard to spot for 1st timers. read more

This is one of our favorite halal places in the area. They have the absolute best chicken sandwich I've had anywhere, very thick and juicy with a yummy sauce that is not overly spicy. My husband always gets the chicken over rice, and you can choose from a few sauces to go with it. Prices are pretty reasonable for most of the items. I just wish they had more seating, although we usually can put a couple of tables together to fit our family of five. Since all I do is order carry out I decided to order from here after my niece and nephew raved about it. Great halal food here so they did not steer me wrong. I ordered a gyro and some banana pudding as dessert. The gyro was perfect. Well seasoned lamb and not too much sauce. I had a side order of fries with it that were good as well. The banana pudding was meh. It tasted like just a bowl of vanilla pudding. No cookies, or banana in it at all. I would skip that next time. You can't really see much underneath the extra white sauce I ordered on my Chicken, rice and salad. However, the food was so delicious! I ordered the chicken over rice platter, with the salad on the side. I ordered extra meat as well! I was skeptical because Legends is new to the area, but it might be one of our new favorite spots. Really good food and cheap the meal is only $6.99 and the falafel are .75 each but they are big and really good. I recommend this place for good halal food. Not only is the food good the people are nice. This is a must try local place, if you attend church around the area "there are a few close by" like I do, just pop in after service and grab you a nice delicious Halal meal for lunch and keep the good vibes going. This place is the real deal! Brand new halal restaurant that opened up right next to Danish Foods, near ISB. Reminiscent of the Legends Chicken & Grill in Landover Hills, which is a renowned landmark in PG County known for its quality and variety. The spicy chicken sandwich is amazing! It reminded me a lot of the Popeyes chicken sandwich. Actually, it tasted BETTER than the Popeyes chicken sandwich. Likewise, the combo gyro & chicken platter is one of the best in the area, especially for a brick-and-mortar store. Their double burger is PHAT, yet so tender and juicy, it practically melts in your mouth. A friend had the falafel platter and was plenty satisfied.
