Kabobs are good. I wanted to go food. Got a plate knife and fork. And the place needed some cleaning. But the food is good.

Food: Red meat mix - 8/10 Chicken shawarma 9/10 I have a lot of army friends say that this restaurant serves the best chicken shawarma so i had to give it a try. The chicken shawarma was so good i had to call the restaurant back to let them know! Service: That night was pretty packed, called in about 20 mins before heading to the restaurant then had to wait 45 mins. But the owner was very nice and apologized for the wait. He offered 2 drinks on the house which was very delicious! (Calypso drinks) Would i come again? Yes!

    Huge Naan.

If you're in the mood for kababs, Kabab Villa has you covered. The family and I got a few items to try out. First off, naan. Yes, naan. It's huge, approaching the size of a lavash loaf. It covered a plate. This was great for mopping up sauce. The spinach puree was really good, nice and rich. Perfect with naan and/or rice. Would get again. Of the kababs, it's mostly meat (though I think they have a vegetarian option on the lunch menu). The beef and chicken were fine. Nothing spectacular, but still good. The real winners were the lamb (shish kebab) and the chicken koubideh. The koubideh is ground meat mixed with spices, and it really makes for a supremely tender and flavorful kebab. Lamb is good on its own, but this was particularly well-seasoned too. Add a bunch of rice and a side salad and you've got a filling meal. Prices are decent and prep time is reasonable. Would come back.

This restaurant was very close to our hotel so we decided to order takeout for dinner after reviewing the menu. Both hubby and I ordered the Double Beef Koubideh which was good. Prices seem to have increased a bit from what was on their website.

Kabab Villa is an outstanding restaurant. I ordered a lamb and beef kabab platter, as well as their dish called the crazy chicken. The meals came with a basket of fresh flat bread that could easily feed several people. Each platter consisted of huge portions of meat, flavored rice and fresh vegetables. The staff at the restaurant went above-and-beyond to ensure you had what you needed, as well as provided exceptional customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

***Update: I am sad to say that I am decreasing my review. The prices have increased, portions have decreased, and the quality isn't as good as it was. My favorite dish remains to be the butter chicken curry, but it was thinner than usual. The food was still good but we paid $76 for takeout for three people. This seems really steep. I doubt we will be back now. Unfortunate!

    Chickpeas and naan

I could live off of the chickpeas and naan- so good! The naan is fluffy and perfectly toasty. The staff are always kind. I'm not in this part of town often, but when I am this is a great stop.

It's my first time here. I have tried 4 dishes: - Beef Kubideh Kabab - Beef Chapli Kabab - Chicken Kubideh Kabab - Lamb Shish Kabab All of them are so tasty. The food portion is good with the reasonable price. Me and my boyfriend did really enjoy our food so much. I will be back for sure.

    Crazy Chicken

One of the best restaurants in the Catonsville/Woodlawn area. When I have to go to the office this is my go to place for lunch. All of the food is fresh and seasoned to perfection. I always get the crazy chicken and the curry chic peas. Check it out if you haven't you won't be disappointed.

The best Kabab in the whole wide world. May favorite food the most delicious and hearty meal. Every time I each this food I feel so good. I am so lucky to have this place near me.

Loud pop music greets you as you walk in. Zauq is to the right. It seemed like a lot of folks were picking up classic American fare: wings, onion rings, other chicken dishes, but I was coming for some Halal food. I got a large rice platter with mixed chicken and lamb. The shredded chicken was okay; could have used more seasoning or something, but that's why they give you white and/or red sauce. The lamb was basically cubed gyro meat, which I enjoyed; I would get a platter of just this next time. You can add as many toppings as you'd like, including onion, lettuce, tomato, chickpeas, pickles, and hot peppers. Make it what you want. For $9.99 (as of 2025), that's a bargain for the amount of food you get. Overall it tasted pretty good. I think if I come back I'm going to try out the falafel and/or the fried chicken sandwiches. The folks are friendly and fast. The whole place, staff and clientele, seemed to be a melting pot of every ethnic group imaginable - Woodlawn baby, gotta love it. There's a Shahada posted above the counter in both Arabic and English, but the food is for everyone and I'm here to say, it's solid. You won't be disappointed.

Shrimp were good no wow factor, wings were good just plain but would have been better if they had a sauce and the burnt ends had more of a smoked bbq flavor which was different than usual but very tender and tasty. It was served with mixed vegetables and coleslaw. Veggies were ok and seasoned and coleslaw was to be desired. Not burnt ends is an entree on the menu. For entrees: crispy chicken sandwich with fries and chicken Mishkaki. Can I say, wow the portion required stretch pants! The sandwich; meat to bun is 20% more chicken than bread. It was seasoned and fried to perfection. The fries are in house cut and seasoned well too. The chicken Mishkaki is dish never tried before but reminds you of Nazan Halal's chicken with more of a rich tomato stew flavor with peppers, onions. It was about 8 to 10 skinless thin thighs seasoned and fork tenderness served in its own plate, then another plate with rice and the fixings. Think of a fajita sizzling plate and side plate of the fixings, same as this dish. I would definitely visit again! We ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer along with the shrimp hibachi and the steak with shrimp hibachi dinners and fried rice for both. I did not take pictures because I usually forget when I have takeout to grab pictures. But you really weren't missing anything. The fried rice had absolutely no seasoning and barely any fried/scrambled egg as well. There was an option to add extra egg when I looked at the menu online. Not one hint of toasted sesame oil anywhere. I'm not too sure what the flavor was for the vegetables or the shrimp but the shrimp did have a little bit of char to them the vegetables, however did not. I had to add soy sauce and my own toasted sesame oil just so it could taste like something. If I would have known it didn't have any flavor, I would have refried our rice and added egg and other seasonings. I didn't think about this until today when I reheated half of it for dinner and added them on. The shrimps and poor appetizer consisted of two shrimp, one piece of broccoli, one mushroom, and two pieces of sweet potato. They were easy to reheat in the air fryer and get crispy again. We ordered extra yum yum sauce but I only eat yum yum sauce from one restaurant so I didn't even try it. It was very light and color which also didn't have me wanting to try it. With everything else unseasoned and lacking so much flavor, I didn't even open the sauce packet that came with the tempura appetizer. Oh well, we gave them a shot but I don't think that I would eat there again or order food.

The folks at the counter seemed busy, but they got to me after a minute to get me my food. Food - despite the name, this is not what I would call a barbecue takeout place. It is a Pakistani restaurant that is meat-forward, but not exclusively meat dishes. We went for the Mixed BBQ, which had plenty of meat for at least two hungry people, but my wife and two of our children had plenty for dinner one night and lunch the next day. The kebab was nicely spiced ground meat and it was decent on its own but also nice with a spicy green sauce. The chicken tikka was solid. There were also some heavily spiced ground beef patties. Child #1 is vegetarian and got a Lahori Chana and a Palak Paneer. The Chana was pretty standard, nicely spiced chickpeas. The palak paneer was solid with a nice blend of warm spices, but I wouldn't call it spicy. We also tried out an order of Chicken Tikka Masala. It wasn't as bright or creamy as I've gotten at other Indian or Pakistani places. It was still tasty though. A variety of breads to mop it all up, and it was a solid meal.
