The food was very fresh and delicious! Highly recommend checking out Zaatar for their lamb chop platter and chicken shawarma. The restaurant is very cozy inside and the customer service was awesome!

This place is hands down my favorite Mediterranean spot in the city! It was absolutely delicious! Every single item! And it's so much bang for your buck! The portions are huge. My favorites were the grape leaves and hummus topped with shawarma for appetizers, chicken shawarma bowl - this was the BOMB!!!, and tabbouleh was great to add to everything!

FOOD- Chicken and rice platter. Came with hummus and pita bread. HUGE portion! The pita was a bit tough but I'm not mad about it. Knafeh was good. Very fragrant and lots of pistachio pieces which really brought it together. Definitely trying the baklava next visit SERVICE- Was great. I got the opportunity to speak to the owner and it was an amazing conversation. Everyone was super kind and attentive AMBIANCE- Nice cozy spot with bar seating (BYOB). Definitely recommend trying this place out! Looking forward to going back there frequently when I'm looking to eat something other than fried foods. Planning on trying the chicken shawarma!

Ordered from Zaatar for a work event and everything was DELICIOUS!! They delivered on time, with no issues, only wished I'd ordered some serving utensils, but they gave a ton of eating utensils, so I just utilized what I had!

Genuinely one of the best and freshest meals we've had in awhile. It was so colorful, that's how you know it's good! Owners and employees are so kind. BYOB! We will 100% be coming back

iced mint lemonade, the best drink ever!

My favorite thing is the ice mint lemonade! It's so refreshing, especially on a hot summer day! I recommended it to a friend who said it was the "best drink [they've] ever had!" The vibe here is amazing as well, very cozy with the warm lighting and wooden furniture. The workers are so friendly and I believe it's a small family owned business. The food is of course amazing as well! So glad I live close by :)

My only regret in writing this review is that I didn't discover this neighborhood gem sooner! Zaatar is dishing out some of the freshest, top notch Mediterranean food in the city from their home base in Fed. Ordering carryout was quick and easy, and my order was ready for pick up when I arrived--complete with friendly, welcoming service. I ordered a mix of vegetarian dishes to sample. Dare I say "diptastic" when it comes to the mixed dip sampler? The hummus--holy cow. Velvety smooth with the perfect ratio of tahini to chickpea to deliver a rich, complex flavor profile without being too "in your face tahini". The Baba Ganough is similarly blended to perfection but with a light airiness to its texture, offering a delicious easily spreadable take on this classic. Lastly, talk about a memorable bite with the Mohamarah. The best I've found in Baltimore. Red pepper forward with pops of nuttiness and a bright, citrus undertone from the pomegranate molasses. I also ordered the Tabbouleh--nailed the ratio of classic components (I always worry about it winding up too parsley dense) with a delicious brightness from the lemon acidity. The Veggie Kabob came with a great selection of char-grilled veggies. A perfect component to add to bites of pita + dip + tabbouleh. The pita bread was also top notch. Fresh, flavorful and the right density/thickness to make it the perfect vehicle for wrapping up bites of everything else ordered. Can't wait for my next order/visit Zaatar team!

Spinach pie - fluffy outside and tangy inside- nice and hot Fries- hot fresh and crispy, not too salty Beef shawarma- HUGE portion! Good flavor, nice and hot. The garlic sauce is so tasty and definitely powerful. I got rice instead of salad, but I think salad would have been a better choice to pair with the beef. There's also a nice big basket of warm naan that comes with it. Chicken shishkabob sandwich- WOW! Blew my socks away. The beef shawarma was good but this was the star of the show. Insane flavor and the chicken was juicy with that nice grilled flavor. Service- friendly, genuine, and fast but not rushing us. Good recommendations for newcomers & had answers for all our questions Atmosphere- dimly lit, comfortable, clean, and not crazy packed. We got there around 5pm on a Sunday, but around 6 is when a few more tables filled up.

The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.

I can't speak on the customer service because I didn't talk to anyone. I ordered at the kiosk and they called my number and that was it. I paid $19.45 for my meal. I order a side of falafels (3) and the street bowl with beef flank, tzatziki, and mild red pepper sauce. The falafels were way too crispy. I feel like compared to other falafels I've tried these were on the hard side. Thankfully I had some tzatziki sauce to dip them in, if I didn't, they would have been a little hard to eat. The flavor was okay but the texture was not appealing. I really wanted to get beef shawarma but they were out so I opted for the beef flank. I wish I would have just gotten chicken instead. The bowl came with rice and a lettuce salad that was underneath the beef. I'm not sure if the lettuce had arugula in it as well, but the lettuce gave sort of a bitter taste which I did not care for at all. Did not taste good so I would add a lot of tzatziki sauce to it to cut down on the bitter taste. The beef was okay, nothing to rave about. I was just very underwhelmed with my food. Not sure if I would give it a try again. If so, I would definitely get something else or build my own bowl maybe. Try it for yourself and see how you like it.

It was Mezza Monday ("unlimited") small plates but we were barely able to order a "Second helping" after being there for 2 hours. The first round of food took over an hour. Luckily, we tracked down our waitress for a second round and it took 20 minutes. Worst part was that it was my sister's birthday. While our server Angel comp'ed a second glass of wine for her, it was 2 hours and 15 minutes before we were able to ask for the check and were ready to go so their normal birthday dessert was no longer an option. So you know I had to oblige and suggested that we try Estiatorio Plaka in Greektown. I always love venturing over to Greektown for some really good Greek food. And if you like Greek wine, their wine list is really extensive. Every wine on their list is carefully chosen from Greek regions to complement our menu, highlight its unique character, and bring an authentic taste of Greece to your table. We pretty much went straight to dinner we both wanted fish this particular evening. I had the LAVRAKI (BRANZINO) which was grilled with capers and oregano and my date wanted the snapper (LITHRINI (RED SNAPPER) , he loves snapper. Both dishes come with a choice of two sides which you can swap out. I chose the horta(field greens) and rice, my date chose the broccolini and roasted potatoes. To be honest the broccolini and roasted potatoes are your best bet. The horta was a tad bland for my liking and really need some seasoning. The rice was ok. For dessert we shared the baklava cheesecake. Soooo good. Baklava is my fave Greek dessert. They also have a nice cocktail and wine list. I plan on returning because they have a really nice happy hour with $1 oysters, $12 fish tacos and $7 espresso martini's, so that alone I am sold on. The decor in here is absolutely stunning, and they also have a really nice bakery to grab some desserts to take home if you like.
