The wraps are so delicious. Top quality tender meat not like a corner truck! The customer service is also great. They bring your food to you whether it be take out or eat in. They have a nice warm environment with indoor and outdoor seating.

Cashier was nice Such fresh food Good flavor Perfect for takeout because it is small inside but there are outdoor seats!

I have been coming here for years... when they first opened this location I was hoping for a traditional sit-down clone of the original Samos... but in the end this was obviously both the correct business decision and also the best for all of us customers! If you want more formal (but still relaxed) sit-down traditional Greek food, with the wide array of slow cooked and complicated dishes, you should go to the original Samos in Greektown. If you want the faster fare version, either for a casual sit-down or take-away meal, this is the best place for Greek food anywhere in Baltimore. Everything, and I mean everything, on the menu is amazing. In the Greek spreads I recommend the tzatziki or the tapenade, but they're all good. The salads are robust, and if you add protein they can serve very easily as a full meal. The pita wraps are all very well portioned and reasonably priced. The small plates work well for sharing as an appetizer or a side dish, and I in particular love the spanakopita and fried calamari. The platters are my go to for an after workout lunch or a dinner. The vegetarian moussaka is delicious and absolutely worth trying. All of the side dishes are delicious, and it's really a matter of your preference. Adding a grilled souvlaki skewer is really only beneficial if you feel like you need extra protein. The normal portions on the platters and salads and wraps is more than adequate. The one thing I would not strongly recommend are t desserts... It's just not as good as at the traditional restaurant.

Quickly gets busy but fast and friendly service. The interior was nice and cool, and there is also outdoor seating available. Cute fast dining restaurant. The food itself was pretty good. Not the best Greek food, but still decent and especially for the price. The platter is skewered meat, pita bread, a hefty portion of tzatziki, and 2 sides. There was so much food to each platter that my friend and I each had two plates of food (pictures only show main plate with 1 side).

Came here w/ some coworkers after work with their recommendation. I came on a weekday during lunch hour and while it was initially empty, it became very full and there quickly was no tables left by the left we were down eating, definitely a popular place! Fried calamari 4.5/5, would have preferred to be more well done and crunchy but overall very well made and a lovely appetizer Roasted potatoes 3/5 very soft potatoes, again I would have preferred these to be more well done and crunchy but these were soft enough to virtually melt in your mouth which was not at all what I expected Grilled lamb sliced pita - 4.5/5, this was my main order, I was full for HOURS. the lamb is thinly sliced and well seasoned, and the tomatoes and onions were fresh and mixed well with the tahini sauce. Parking is definitely an issue right next to the shop but given its location in a giant outdoor shopping center, what better way to work off some of the huge meal you're about to chow down on then parking a bit further away and walking it off?

Samos is still very much a fan favorite for me. It's on the more expensive side when you think of take out, but it is a solid meal when you need something in a pinch. The hummus and pita is really good, and the chicken skewer platters are lovely. I prefer the rice to the potatoes as a side order, but the Greek salad is really a show stopper for me. The service is smooth and efficient when I'm picking up food. My friends were even able to get a to go order for me on my most recent visit. I might dine in eventually, especially with the tables outside when the weather is nice.

My wife loves this place. I mean sneaks and eats there all the time. She doesn't have to sneak anymore. This food is delicious. It's fast too. Food came out faster than a drive thru. My only complaint is I can't stop eating it! I was uncomfortably full. I will be scheduling a walk after the next time I go. It's a strong possibility it will be tomorrow. Not cheap though but they can have all my money. I had the chicken and the steak. Of course I had to add my extra protein. I liked the chicken more than I liked the steak but it was still pretty good. The pilaf was so perfect. The flavors were chefs kiss. The pita was soft. The salad was fresh. I can't say enough good things. I'm officially a fan.

I was glad to find Samos Greek Island Grill. We had tried to go to the full service restaurant in Greektown, but I was getting frustrated with parking, so we came here instead, as Canton Crossing has plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly. I ordered the pork souvlaki platter with Greek fries and salad; my friend got the lamb souvlaki platter with Greek fries and grilled vegetables. Everything was delicious. The feta in the salad was so good. The pork and lamb were both well-seasoned. Portions were good though it is only one skewer of meat. We were both happy with our meals. I'd return to this fast casual location anytime, though I hope to try the full service location soon.

I had the opportunity to eat at Samos Greek while working in my company's Canton location. I was happy when my coworkers told me they liked Greek food! It was about a seven minute walk from the office. I ordered a gyro and tried some fries with feta. I loved the gyro! The ingredients were fresh and the meat was hot. And the tiziki sauce was so good! And the fries, hello yummy goodness! I never had feta on fries. I would eat fries every day if they tasted like these lol! They had a lot of indoor seating plus several tables outside. It was a nice day, so we enjoyed sitting outside. We all loved our lunch and I will most definitely go back when I am in Baltimore again.

This isn't my usual Samos, the one at McHenry Row is more convenient to where I live. However, yesterday I was in Canton for an appointment and decided to grab dinner at this particular Samos. I went with my usual, the gyro pita and mixed veggies (I would have gotten a drink but they didn't have any birch beer on tap, poo!). I'd just sat down when the food was brought out to me, which was great b/c I was STARVING! So, idk what the Canton location is doing differently from McHenry Row, but the gyro AND the veggies were seasoned better in Canton. Not sure if it was the tzatziki sauce or if the tomatoes had a little something extra on them, or if a different seasoning is used on the grilled veggies. Either way, the food was on point and I wish I lived closer to Canton.

    Maricia H.

A little overpriced for what you get. Also, the outside of the meat is flavored, but it doesn't get into the meat. Lastly, the inside of the meat was cold while the outside was warm. They need some kind of sauce or spread for the salvaki.

The Greek Fries here are amazing! The feta cheese pairs perfectly with them, creating such a rich flavor. I will definitely get it regularly.

It's a very small restaurant but the vibes were perfect - the staff really made us feel like family. They don't have large tables but they put a few together just for us. My heart was so overjoyed by that because I've been to places that will just split you up when that happens. The food was IMMACULATE. First off, most of the menu is already dietary restriction friendly (for people who don't eat pork or gluten or have nut allergies) -- but I was really impressed by our waitresses knowledge and her intuitiveness. We didn't have to ask, she went over everything unprompted to make sure everyone ordered comfortably. Secondly, whoever is in the kitchen needs TEN THOUSAND KISSES. Don't you dare skip the salad! So fresh and so good. The homemade dressing was perfect. Foodie hack: Add a piece of feta to your pita and drizzle dressing over it, trust me. The branzino OMG - this dish alone deserves Michelin stars. You get the whole fish (bone included) and it's cooked to perfection. The sides were delicious but I didn't eat much because I was so focused on the fish. I love that they let you do half rice/half potatoes if you're indecisive like me. Both were so flavorful, I couldn't pick a favorite. The roasted veggies were also pretty fire, they put some kind of sauce on them that really turned them up, I finished these first btw if you wanted an indicator of how good it was. I had a bite of one of my team members moussaka - definitely will order this when I'm looking for a heartier belly-warming meal. It's like a Greek lasagna. Another 10/10. All the desserts are made in house and you can tell. I thought I hated baklava, turns out I never had good baklava until yesterday. It was so warm and sweet and full of spice. We loved the custard and rice pudding as well! Premiere entrees and dessert for 5 people for $150 is unheard of! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do yourself a favor and treat yourself (and loved ones) to this amazing authentic Greek spot.

We were greeted right away by super friendly staff who made us feel right at home. To start things off, we split an order of their Tzatziki served with pita. The Tzatziki was creamy and fresh, with just the right balance of garlic and dill, and the warm pita was perfectly soft. It's a must-get if you're a fan of Mediterranean appetizers; it really set the tone for the meal. For my main, I went with the Sliced Gyro pita wrap. Let me just say: this is a classic done right. The meat was tender and flavorful, with those crispy edges that make a gyro amazing. It came loaded with fresh veggies and a generous drizzle of more of that delicious Tzatziki. Everything was nicely wrapped up in a fresh, fluffy pita, making it super easy (and not too messy) to eat. Service was quick. Our food came out in what felt like no time at all, even though the place was comfortably busy. The staff checked in just enough without being overbearing, and the space was spotless. If you're looking for great Greek food in Baltimore in a relaxed setting, Samos Greek Island Grill is definitely worth a visit. Between the welcoming staff, fast service, and tasty food, I'll absolutely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend!

The calamari was perfectly breaded and crispy. The hummus had a great blend of garlic, parsley, a bit of cayenne and red chili flakes with lemon and paprika. All these ingredients make a plain hummus extra tasty. Our two main entrees consisted of the broiled Atlantic salmon with asparagus and Greek potatoes and the Yero plate containing rotisserie beef and lamb slices serviced over pita, with tzatziki, and salad. The salmon was impressively at the perfect temperature. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal. The Yero plate had the best slices of beef and lamb. They were soft and absolutely well prepared. Our dinner was accompanied with two musicians who played lovely traditional Greek songs. The music was not too loud and we were able to have a nice conversation at our table. Service was a tad slow towards the end of our meal. We were seated in the basement and there was a time when not a single server was on the floor. Water service was lacking and odd -- we waited quite some time for a refill and when someone did come, only one of us got the refill when we both needed water! Still, I loved the food and atmosphere. Cons: The service was not great. They have lots of staff--someone to light the candles, someone to bring the water, someone to take our order, someone to bring out the appetizer, someone to bring out drinks, someone to bring out entrees, etc. But there was very little follow up along the way. Our waters never got filled again. Our server took our drink order right away, but took a long time to come back to take our food order. Despite that, we still got our drinks well after the appetizer came out. The next time we saw the server was when we were done eating. The food should have been better for the price as well. We shared the grilled halloumi cheese appetizer. The cheese was cold by the time it got to us, and the plate came with two small olives--just two. At that point, don't bother. I had the bronzini, which had a good flavor, but was mostly skin. There was very little fish attached to two filets. My wife had the scallops. The entree came with five or six (can't remember exactly) medium-sized scallops. My wife described them as "forgettable," with very little thought to presentation (some of the scallops were laying on their side on the plate. The asparagus was overcooked. Unfortunately we both left still kind of hungry, and definitely put off.

Decorated in clean blue and white colors, Smyrna has an appealing feel. Smyrna also has a rear patio open during good weather. We were started out with very decent complimentary warm pita bread. For my first (starter) course, I ordered the chicken avgolemono soup. While the soup was packed with tender chicken, I was disappointed that the soup didn't really have much of a tart, lemony flavor. It actually was bland. But what more than made up for the avgolemono soup was the beef Keftdedes I chose for my second course. This dish came with absolutely the best tomato-based sauce I've ever had anywhere anytime! Delicious and fabulous!! The beef keftdedes were plump ground beef patties served over little squares of pita bread and topped with the tomato sauce and also a yogurt sauce. JP ordered the Imam Bayildi, which was good. It came with roasted eggplant, diced tomatoes and diced onions. For our third course (dessert), I ordered the Revani, which was a moist dense semolina cake topped with ice cream and chocolate shavings. Outstanding flavor and texture. Perfect!
