Never on Sunday was a college staple for me. Got me through some great times!! Late nights. As of recently, the food quality has been 50/50. I think one should stick to easy eats at this restaurant; wraps, pizza slices, subs etc. The service is always great. The staff are super welcoming. During the week you will see many professionals in the space and other neighbors and on weekends it's your bar and party crowd. The salad I had today was not great for the 24 dollar price point with drink included. I thought my salad would have more than just lettuce but unfortunately it was just lettuce croutons and chicken. It was really disappointing. I'll know now for the future to stick to what I'm used to at a more reasonable price point and make my salads at home. read more

Inside the restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. Adequate seating it you decide to dine in. There was a bit of a wait for the food but it was fresh and hot. There was one part of the pizza that had a weird after taste. Can't quite describe it but it was only the crust part. The sauce and cheese of the pizza was good. Customer service was on point. This pizza and Greek place was across from our hotel while staying in Baltimore. They are open late, so we went over and grabbed some slices to go to take back to our room for late dinner after exploring. We got a slice of cheese and a Hawaiian slice. The person taking our order was friendly and it was a short wait. Both slices were good. The Hawaiian had a generous amount of toppings. The cheese and sauce were good, crust had a good chew. 25 years ago, this was just a basic pizza to go place. A number of years ago they fixed the place up and made it bit more of a sitdown restaurant. It's still pretty divey, but the food is good and cheap. They have a great selection of basic diner type foods. They make very good hamburgers and incredibly delicious fries. Their gyros and souvlaki are also great. The dining area is very basic, but it's clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. If you want affordable pizza or burgers, this is the place to go in the area. Oh, yeah, they used to be closed on Sundays, but now they're open seven days a week. read more

Stumbled across this place on a Saturday night while walking around in Mt. Vernon. It's clean, welcoming, and was bustling despite the late hour. It's a no frills place, exactly what you need on a late night :) Also love that they are open till 1am! It was rather late on a Friday night and me and my friend were starving! We decided to pick up pizza near his place. He claims to order from Never On Sunday all the time, so I agreed. Did a GrubHub order for pick-up. Said 20 minutes for the pizza to get ready and that's exactly how long it took! We waited in the car for 10 minutes and he waited inside for 10 minutes until the pizza was done. There's street parking right in front of the place. We ordered an extra large pizza and for ~$15?! Don't mind if I do! What a steal for a huge pizza that could last us 1-2 days. Which was partially true. We finished 75% of the pizza that night. The pizza isn't anything extraordinary, but big slices for smaller bucks. I'm knocking this review down to 4 stars because they aren't actually open on Sunday's! And when a place talks up their "Greek specialties" and charges ten and a half bucks for a gyros, I figure it might be sliced off a big spit. I figured wrong. The menu photo shows tomato slices, but the actual sandwich had a generous helping of fixed tomatoes and red onions. It was old and slimy. I was so disgusted that I couldn't articulate my sentences properly to verbally extend disappointment to management, I just kindly threw it in a trash can and didn't complain with a promise to myself to never return. It was so disheartening hearing my friends and family members saying "we should have went to other place you suggested". I've never had that problem! Another day another stop on my quest to find the best slice of pizza in Baltimore I found myself at Never On Sunday. A nice little restaurant on Charles street. First we will address my biggest issue parking like any place in this part of the city is tough. But this is especially right here cause it's a couple of clubs right here plus it's on the corner of a bus stop so that makes finding a spot right here extra hard. But once you get past that you are good. Was a bit disappointed in the service I received. The guy that took my order was so unprofessional on the phone taking another order while trying to take mine. Which then caused me to have to wait an extra 10 minutes cause he was too busy on the phone to tell me my order was ready. The pizza wasn't bad but it wasn't the best I've had in this area plus the prices were a little higher than the great ones I've been catching lately. These guys were so polite! I order mild wings and they were ready in 10 minutes. The mild sauce left a light spice that lingered, and I really appreciated that it wasn't just a red colored butter! So many mild sauces are either just oil or they have no depth. Good sized, very crispy wings did not disappoint! Back to how they run the business.... when I called they didn't just give me a short quip, instead, they were nice. There's no indoor seating, so when I went to pick up I was a goof and told the gentleman my name as I was walking towards him from the entrance.
