I have ordered from Dino's a few times over the past 2 years, mainly when I'm jonesing for a cheeseburger sub. It's always been nearby so when it's delivered it's still a nice temperature and it's always packaged well. My boyfriend's typical order is either a Chicken Cheesesteak/Chicken Philly Submarine or Cheesesteak & Shrimp submarine. And like I said we typically never had any complaints, besides onions not being excluded upon request. I personally don't mind onions so when they forget it's no big deal because I can easily remove them or just eat is as is. However, my boyfriend does NOT like the grilled onion in his sub. And when it's a cheesesteak the onions are more incorporated all throughout, so if you're not a fan of the onions it pretty much ruins the whole sub. We also tried a few other items like the Corned Beef Reuben Sandwich, that I really enjoyed. As for the pastas...... we've tried the lasagna, the shrimp fra diavolo over linguine, and the shrimp and chicken scampi over pasta. The pasta portions are always great. You will definitely have leftovers, BUT I almost always have to toss it in a pan and season the pasta because the flavor is lacking. There's fries are also okay, my boyfriend orders them and never eats much of them. I don't think they're worth ordering personally. Their banana pudding is also good. I've never dined at Dino's so I cannot speak to the ambiance, but if you're looking for a decent sub or sandwich it's a pretty solid option for delivery. They also have TONS of options to choose from that I have not tried yet that other customers have enjoyed. read more

Went back to Dino's and ordered a "Caesar" style pizza. After being in this area and trying some different pizza restaurants I can tell you Dinos has the best crust and by far the most toppings- especially the cheese. They do not skimp here. You will pay just a little more compared to some competitors nearby but the quality far outweighs the cost difference. I've even ordered extra cheese with some competitors and it's still not as much as what you get here as their standard pie. Excellent. My go-to for pizza in the area. Dinos is really meant to be a carry out shop While you can dine there, the service is designed accordingly- there is not table service. Service in general is just okay- not the most friendly and certainly not terrible either. The only reason I have it four rather than five stars. read more

An extensive menu of subs to salads, gyros to pizza, sides, and generous desserts. With a prime location next to Johns Hopkins, it's convenient if you're in the area but worth the trip or delivery if you're not. The atmosphere is Jersey-ish simple and old school, and the staff is cordial and welcoming. For a while now I've heard people say Dino's has their favorite cheesesteak. I decided yesterday I would finally try it. They have several options so I picked the chicken and shrimp cheesesteak and fries. I placed my order through their website and headed to the restaurant. By the time I walked in, the place was nice and quiet. The lady behind the register was nice and had my order bagged and ready to go. Soon as I took my first bite, I understood why so many have them ranked high. You can really taste the seasoning and flavor. Dino's is where it's at!! This review is all about the cheesesteaks, gyros and Greek salads. Those are the only things I've tried. I tried the Regular Cheesesteak, Italian Cheesesteak, Shrimp Cheesesteak and the Chicken Cheesesteak. Love them all! I've tried both the chicken and lamb gyro. The Greek salad is always fresh, lettuce crunchy, tomatoes ripe. Love them all. I've been eating Dino's since grade school. The recipe never changed. I'm so happy about that! I read in someone's review that the cheesesteak tasted like a Big Mac. I would have to disagree but, there is a distinct taste to their cheesesteak that you don't taste anywhere else. Not sure what it is, but man! Whatever it is .... Keep doing it!!! Highly recommend. read more

Visiting from out of state and had no idea about pizza places in the Baltimore area. We checked out the review scores & menus of several spots, and decided to go with Dino's. We ordered a large pizza, crab soup & the cheesesteak sandwich. Very pleased! The pizza isn't too doughy, which is great! And, the crab soup is a must! This is the definition of a true family run restaurant. I am in love with Dino's. The owners work there and are super passionate. I had the honor in working with (not for) the restaurant and I can say truthfully THEY LOVE THEIR RESTAURANT AND LOYAL CUSTOMERS. I have ordered the chicken cheesesteak and it was soooooooo good! I've also had the tuna melt (a meal I'm very skeptical to order) and it was really good too. Also as a side note, it's very diverse within the facility. I do look at that when I'm dining because inclusion makes me personally feel more comfortable. I just highly recommend this restaurant, it's also right next to John's Hopkins hospital with FREE PARKING. So if you need a quick and efficient place to grab some authentic food from, you should definitely go to Dino's. read more

Dinos has been a favorite of mine for some time now. Originally, I was introduced to their whole fried chicken. It's crispy, juicy and delicious. Everything I've ever eaten at Dino's is always well done and piping hot when we receive the order. As far as I know, the order process is just to call in via phone and place your order. There may be an online option as well but I've never used it. This visit, I opted for one of their pasta dishes. Chicken and shrimp Alfredo is a hit or miss for me based on the sauce. Dinos HIT! Their sauce is thick and creamy and the portions are huge! I believe i made three meals out of this dish. The shrimp were large and there was plenty of chicken in the dish. I also got broccoli in mine. Can't forget the veggies! The dish comes with garlic bread that has a buttery seasoning on it that I could honestly eat by itself. I'd you haven't tried Dinos, put them on your pandemic night in dinner list soon and thank me later. read more

I went to Dino's for the after show food for the touring crew of a major artist performing at Pier 6. I went there personally to explain my order and I left them with a written list and instructions. I expressed repeatedly that I would need everything labeled. They didn't label a single thing and it was a nightmare trying to separate what went to each tour bus. Delivery order came within 30 minutes. Chicken gyro: soft pita with lettuce, tomatoes, yummy tahini sauce, with a good amount of grilled chicken. They don't skimp. This gyro was satisfying. My husband loved the lamb gyro. Fries were slightly cold when they arrived but crisped up nice in our infrared oven. Pizza was okay although the bottom of the crust was slightly overcooked. Corned beef sandwich was yummy with rye bread and the bread crisped nicely in the toaster oven. Chicken salad sandwich was tasty with generous amount of meat and not "watery" like some other places. I ordered the buffalo wings with old bay on the side and french fries. The wings were fried perfectly, but the blue cheese was bland; I think they need a new distributor. Their fries were okay slightly under done had to put them in the air fryer for an extra few minutes to get crisp. read more

OMG, one of the best subs I've ever had, the place stays mad crowded, I mean wall to wall and everyone's watching and waiting for their number to be called. This is place is great and no one minds waiting, that's how good they are, stop by, you won't regret it, parking isn't the best, so make sure you have someone with you to drive around the block while you order. read more

Unfortunately had to grab something late night and this was the only close option. Placed an order, paid for food, and went across the street to the gas station. Got back at 2.05 and it's closed. Next day the manager argued with me over the phone and lied straight up. Never gonna go there again even if I am starving. Incidentally, upon not getting my food called another business that closed at 2, and the guy was able to accommodate an order for me at 2.05. That's good customer service, I hope the management takes notes instead of lying to customers. I understand that I should have been there by 2 and would have been ok with not getting a fresh order the following day but the general attitude of the staff was unacceptable. PS I was told that they left my food in a flower pot. Like I'm supposed to pick up a random bag in the middle of the night and consume what's inside! read more

I will preface this review with me informing the readers that this testimony is based on my visit during 09/14/2021; thus, take as you will from this review. I ordered carryout of chicken Parmesan in the evening, 7:00 PM. The food was supposed to be ready in 10-15 minutes. So, I made my way to Dino's shortly after making the order. As I arrived, the food was not yet prepared, as to be expected (It took me 5 minutes to get to the restaurant). During the wait, I observed the decor around me. Presentation was clean, but the decor was bit old; likewise for the chairs and tables. What alarmed me most during the wait was that the employees behind the counter were not properly wearing their masks, or they were not wearing their masks at all. I found this quite puzzling, given that they had a notice at their front door that they will not serve unmasked customers. Mind the reader, the delta variant of COVID-19 is more prevalent and deadlier than the previous predominating variant. So, I was a bit disappoint with this aspect. Nevertheless, the cashier was friendly. Once the food was prepared, I went back home to eat. The food was freshly hot and ready to be eaten! Beware, the food was hot enough that you can burn yourself if you do not handle the packaging carefully. This goes without saying, then, that Dino's preparers should consider how they package their food. The packaging was stuffed with food. This caused some leakage in the bag the packaged food was in. Nevertheless, the amount of food was a significantly great value, so I cannot complain too much. I would say it is about 3 servings. The chicken Parmesan tasted decently well for the value. The amount of chicken in the dish was fair. The garlic bread was decent. Based on my experience on-site of their business, the packaging, and quality of food, this is why I am giving the 3 stars. However, they have room for 100% redemption in each of their pitfalls. I trust they can do it if these pitfalls are taken seriously. Thanks for reading! read more

I love this restaurant they have the best gyros! They are so good! The lamb is cooked perfectly. One thing I don't like is that if you ask for extra tzatziki sauce, they don't put much more on there. But other than that it is good. You get fries which are always nice and crunchy and a little side salad with your gyro. I reccomend them if you're looking for a little place to get good gyros! read more

Real disappointing experience here. The food was actually pretty decent - Worthy of 3 or 3.5 stars. It's dragged down severely by the service. I placed a relatively small delivery order (small pizza and a couple of sides) and it wasn't delivered until 1 hour and 45 minutes later (70 minutes after the original projected time and 45 minutes after the revised projected time I received about 20 minutes after placing the order.) My house is a 7 minute drive from the restaurant. I called the restaurant at around the 80 minute mark to inquire about my order status. The woman I spoke with said that my food had been ready for some time but they were waiting on the driver and that I could come pick it up if I wanted it faster. Needless to say, I declined. About half an hour after that, I received my food. It was lukewarm at best, although it still tasted okay. I did not receive any kind of apology on the phone or from the driver. When the driver arrived, I asked him why the long delay. He rolled his eyes at me and said "Is that everything?" (referring to whether the food he had just given me was my entire order) and ignored my question. I said yes and he walked back to his car. Now, service usually has to be pretty abominable for me not to tip at least 10% even if the service is poor but I was very off-put by my experience here so that $5 bill stayed in my pocket. If I had gotten even a generic, half-assed apology for being so late, I would've gotten over it but nothing. I was very disappointed - I'm still looking for a "go-to" place in the area but this will be my first and last visit here. read more

First a sub was missing from our order, we called and the person on the phone was so incredibly rude. Literally said, "what's the problem", never apologized, and was genuinely annoyed that we didn't want to pay for a sub we did not receive. Oh and then said he would refund us but hung up the phone without getting our info. This was a sub for my eight year old, who now had nothing to ear because the other subs had hots on them. The quality of the food we did receive was horrible. The cheesesteak had little meat, was soggy, and the flavor was off. The chicken tenders (for my four year old) were undercooked. We spent $100 on a dinner for my family that was inedible. So in summary, horrible food and even worse service. read more

Lunch Time ^_^ My job is literally next door to Dinos, I have a secret obsession with cold cuts. So I decided to splurge on my lunch today. I called ahead and place an ordered--ham and turkey club which comes with a bag of chips. I've been here a few times and every time I come, their food is always fresh. Lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and bacon are the best combination that comes on the sandwich :) This place never disappoint with their ham and turkey club. My total was roughly $8 dollars and some change. Got an Italian sub for pickup. Service was quick, the sub was pretty cheap ($7.50 for a decent size) and the Italian dressing on it made the sandwich. Wish they had some other options like olives or something. And the cold cuts were sort of generic. But all in all, for the money it's a good deal and I'll go back again to try something like the gyros for sure. read more
