    The Otoman Signature Platter
    Anthony W.

The owner is very welcoming and offers a delicious sample of hot tea. I ordered the Otoman Special over rice. The lamb and chicken over rice with white sauce is solid, and my wife enjoyed the recommended fish sandwich. A gentleman came in as we were leaving and ordered three fish sandwiches, so they seem to be popular.

I've been wanting to try this spot out, however social media hyped it before I could really get a feel of the place. This carryout has gone viral on tick tock for the fish sandwiches. I wanted to try the platters but opted to get the fish sandwich instead. And I must say they need to go to the drawing board now that they have gone viral because taking orders than you can put out is a big NO. However, I have to give them grease because I know they wasn't prepared to go viral so that's why I would like to give this place another chance . Yes it was crowded. Yes there was a wait. Even under the pressure and magnitude of orders, the staff was still friendly and professional. However, my sandwich looked appetizing but it tasted rush and tasteless. I even let my sandwich sit to let everything mesh together. But with each bite I felt like I taste every ingredient separate. To me not worth the hype but I definitely will be back once things dies down to try other menu items.

The owners were super friendly and honestly I really enjoyed my food this place isn't that close to me I can't go often but I think they definitely are worth checking out

Chicken was pretty dry, but not bad

Dry chicken, but not bad at all. Came pretty fast. Didn't go inside to check the ambiance, but the service was good. Good sauces and good seasonings.

This is the best halal place I've tried with my husband. My husband said they got the best burger he has ever tried it's double patty, the food is always fresh and hot, steamy. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The service is 10/10. Their chicken is always so flavorful. The portions are amazing. And they also have a variety food options you get. Hands down the best halal place.

Waited a while for a falafel pita for it to come out cold. The falafel was bland and dry. The garlic sauce was good.

I had ordered ahead via Toast, grabbing a cheesesteak on a seeded roll with extra meat, onions and a light spread of mayo--assuming the seeded roll would be very crusty & rigid and need the spread to moisten it a bit. I was wrong! The roll housing the fillings was perfectly soft and able to contain all of the meat juices and cheese throughout the sandwich. I got a 9" small with extra meat assuming that's how they're presented on their social media page, and it's more than enough for one person. I'd recommend NOT getting extra meat unless you're coming with a huge appetite! I've never had a proper cheesesteak in my life until today. Truly deserving of the awards they've received. Will be back whenever in the area as a treat; gotta walk this current one off by the waterfront lol Thank you all at Frank's Pizza & Pasta for a great first experience!

I ordered the small cheesesteak, and even though the initial hype has died down a bit, it's still pretty popular because there was still a bit of a wait after ordering. The sub was a nice size, so I have no complaints about the portion. However, I felt like it was missing something when it came to flavor. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't have that extra seasoning or taste I was expecting. For $18 for a small cheesesteak, I was hoping to be wowed but it was just ok. Overall, it's worth trying if you're curious. I look forward to going back and trying their pizza and other menu items.

Great options for an authentic Italian market! In fact, I brought my in-law here for a sandwich a few years back, they were visiting from Italy, and thought the sandwich was very authentic to their markets in Italy. I love all of their holiday foods as well. We picked up a bunch of chocolate eggs and ingredients to make tiramisu for Easter. They even offer wine tastings on Saturdays! The people who work here are so kind and helpful!

TLDR: Old school Italian deli with top notch sandwiches, friendly staff, and the best Italian sub…read moreyou will find in Baltimore County. I have been a longtime fan of the DiPasquales family businesses, from their classic Italian markets in Baltimore to their new speakeasy style restaurant, Forno. Living in the county, I have always known about Mastellone's but somehow forget that it delivers the same amazing quality as the more modern DiPasquales locations. I finally made the trip to grab a weekday lunch and could not have been happier with my subs. The shop sits along a busy stretch of Harford Road, so be ready to parallel park quickly or find a nearby side street and walk over. Inside, it is everything you want in a true old school Italian deli. No frills, just shelves full of authentic Italian groceries, a big cold case with sauces, side dishes, desserts, and even a solid wine selection to take home. I ordered the Old World Italian sub, made with sopressata, capicola, prosciutto, fontinella cheese, olive tapenade, tomato, and a drizzle of EVOO on a toasted fresh baked roll. It was absolute perfection. The meats were thinly sliced and perfectly layered so that every bite had the full mix of flavor and texture. Salty, a touch spicy, and incredibly satisfying. At twelve dollars, it is the ideal price point for a weekday lunch that feels like a treat. The staff could not have been nicer. They were friendly, efficient, and you can tell they take real pride in what they do. Overall, Mastellone's is everything you want in a neighborhood Italian deli and absolutely worth the trip for anyone chasing elite level hoagies.

Pepperoni pizza I love that they have a cheese pizza deal…read morefor $12 for pick up and then you pay extra $1 for the pepperoni. Cheap eats or where it's at! It's a good size pizza coming with eight slices. Fantastic cheese pull, and has a squeakiness to the cheese. If you know, you know. They were a little skimpy on the toppings, would've loved a few more pepperonis, especially since I'm paying for it. The dough was phenomenal; fresh, soft, with a nice crisp to it. The crust was so good, that after you finish eating the pizza you could take the end and dip it in some garlic sauce, if only they gave you some. The sauce was perfectly flavored, the tomatoes tasted fresh. I'm not a thin sliced pizza person, this one made me change my tune. This was a well executed pie. The owner told me that it was one of the best, I'll have to give it to him definitely high ranking, and definitely feeds my soul. Curly Fries Freshly fried, golden on the outside. No complaints, good fries. Italian Cold Cut I like the meat tasted fresh, thin, sliced, and the toppings were also fresh. I took off a star because it didn't fit the meat to bread ratio. It was too much bread and not enough meat to match the thickness of the roll. The role tasted fresh was good bread. All in all, it's good to see a mom and pop that has lasted the test of time. The new Management is extremely friendly, very helpful and welcoming. The customer service is top-notch. So yeah, check them out. Especially for the pizza.

Recently moved back to the area and decided to get takeout. Two salads in the order were the saddest grilled chicken salads I have ever have paid $13 for. Nearly a pound of cheap lettuce, a couple pieces of tomato and cucumber, 3oz of the toughest driest chicken(I weighed it). No dressing. I called and described the salads. They offered to remake and I decided to pick up. In person they apologized for poor quality and promised that this time it would be much better. I did not check in the store. I got home. It was the EXACT SAME salad as described in above paragraph but with two tablespoons of dressing on the side. Epic disappointment of the high quality take out establishment that Parkville has lost. I wish I could give two stars for the offering to remake but I just can't.
