I ordered the gyro planter. There was no description so I assumed it was a normal gyro sandwich with the sides. It was simply gyro meat. Sadly, the meat was hard and dry and seemed burnt. The pita bread pieces were hard and burnt. Shame on me that I did not notice that I have been here before and dislike that. So at least they are consistent in that they are terrible. I'll make sure that I remember not to order from here again. read more

The best *fast* Greek restaurant in HarCo. Service is quick and efficient, the gyro is my go-to every time I'm there. The seating, while not many, is always clean. Gyro tastes great and I love their fries. Definitely try out this place if you want something different from the usual pizza and burgers. read more

The food was just ok! We got chicken skewers, spanakopitas and lamb and beef platter. Everything was just average, chicken was a little dry. Same with the lamb and beef. Wish they did not burry the fries under the meat, it was very soggy. read more

I came here based on Facebook buzz. They weren't wrong. This place has the absolute best calamari I've ever tasted in my life, and my 8 year old daughter agrees. Also had the gyro wrap. The picture says it all. AMAZING. We will definitely return. read more

I ordered a falafel pita and a gyro egg roll for lunch from their food truck. Both were excellent and the portions plenty big, plenty left for lunch tomorrow too. Falafel can be hit or miss sometimes, often bland and/or dry ...this was neither. Maybe the best I've had. The gyro egg roll were very delicious, albeit a little on the juicy side. Located in Forest Hill, this spot is a recent addition to Rock Spring Shopping Center. They were busy on a Friday evening around 7. Ordered pickup and called it in which was quick and seamless. Gyro (Lamb/Beef) Pita Wrap was tasty with a generous portion. They had the traditional Tzatziki and a hot sauce which was good and was slightly there so blended well. Spanakopita was very good and definitely traditional. Their version is more on the spinach side with some feta. I believe that you can never have too much Feta. The Tyrokafteri had just the right amount of spicy and feta and was a hit. Fries were also good and don't know how I missed the Greek fries which are always a must -next time. Returned a couple of weeks later and this time ordered the Greek fries which didn't disappoint. The feta was on top and had a sauce/dip consistency and was delicious. The Souvlaki Special (Gyro Bowl) was massive. Enough for at least 2. We ordered the Pork Souvlaki. Seasoned rice topped with tender pieces of Souvlaki, Pita, tomatoes, onions and Feta. This is our favorite dish! Service was friendly and upbeat. Great they are here as we now have more options for authentic Greek food vs going to Baltimore. We will be back! read more

Good food! We got delicious spanakopita, a greek salad, greek fries, and pork souvlaki, and took home some excellent baba ghanoush and super garlicky tzatziki which came with pita points. The little dining area where we ate was not very special, but the food was quite good and the staff friendly. I would give it more stars if the pork were jucier. read more

Was here before and it was great. Maybe it's a bad night but I called and asked that the pita not be inside of the bowl and was told no problem. When my husband picked up the food he was told... sorry it was already made. Don't know how it was already made in the 2 minutes when I called back to ask this. Mr Souvlaki, is a great place to grab Greek food when you're in the neighborhood. I have been a couple of times and a highly recommend the chicken gyro in the lemon potatoes. My wife took me for the first time, as I previously thought their prices were too high. I was wrong. It was worth every penny. We shared the unique gyro egg rolls. I had a gyro and my wife had the special souvlaki bowl. The gyro was huge and full of meat. Delicious! The Souvlaki bowl was so big she had 2 meals from it. I've had a lot of souvlaki in my day and this was hands down the best. The pork was so well seasoned and marinated. The tzatziki was delicious and the perfect consistency. Even the grilled veggies were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The service was quick and everyone was friendly. It was definitely worth the 20 minute drive in the snow lol. Love love it. Wish it was closer to me cause it's a hike to do carry & back, but we do it because it's that good. I love garlic. I will say the only thing is the tzatziki has a ton of it. The lemon rice was very good! The tzatziki and pita were excellent! The chicken gyro meat (we ordered a platter) was well seasoned but dry, and almost tough. On the plus side, one platter, with a tzatziki appetizer, was enough for two moderately-hungry adults. I'd like to go back, and I'll definitely try something else next time. read more

Came here for lunch and ordered spanakopita and side Greek salad. The piece of spanakopita was large and had ample amount of flavorful spinach and feta cheese. My only complaint was that the phyllo was a little soft instead of crunchy and flaky. The side salad was good and so was the dressing. The service was fast and friendly. I have been craving a good Gyro and they are hard to find in Harford County Md. some suggested this place. Made the 25min drive and was pleasantly surprised. Not the best I've ever had but very solid. Only thing I missed was some fresh sliced cucumber to accent the tzatziki sauce. Sauce was very good but I should have worked it into the whole Gyro rather than eating it off the top which left me with a lot of meat and pita , no sauce. I ordered the beef/lamb which I though was the original Gyro but the menu touts the pork Gyro as being authentic? Intrigued. read more

My wife and I had lunch here again. They have only improved. We shared Greek fries which were crispy fries buried in feta. They were outstanding. I had a gyro wrap and my wife had gyro egg rolls. My wife loved her egg rolls, and I LOVED my gyro wrap. They seems to have mellowed their tzatziki sauce just a smidgeon, it was perfect. This was the best gyro sandwich I have had in years. It's better than anything I have bought in Baltimore, and better than what I have bought while in Greektown. Mr. Souvlaki is now on my permanent list of go to eating establishments. I drive by this place on my way home from work and finally decided to give it a try. The staff was polite and very helpful and even made a suggestion which turned out to be amazing. I had the special which was a bowl with choice of meat, pork for me, rice, cubed tomato's, onions, sliced pita and a sauce with a kick to it. The salad busted open in the bag, due to not packing well. The fries weren't great either The rest of the food was good, but not great. I also ordered a soda I never received.
