I visited Kabob Corner on Baltimore Pike in Bel Air, and it was honestly one of the best meals I have had in a long time. We ordered the saffron chicken kabob, the lamb kabob, and the shawarma bowl, and every single dish was unbelievable. The flavors were rich, the meat was tender, and everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. The owner is one of the nicest people you will meet. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and his restaurant. The place is extremely clean, and you can see the pride he takes in keeping everything spotless and welcoming. If you are looking for amazing food, great service, and a clean, friendly atmosphere, Kabob Corner is absolutely worth the visit. I will definitely be coming back.

2/13/2026 Fresh!Fresh!Fresh! Boy did I enjoy this place when I was looking for a kabob. Outside is plenty of parking and an inviting atmosphere. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the door. I wish I had gotten his name at the counter but he had the greatest vibe speaking to everyone one made the place feel like home. He walked me through what was popular so I went with the chicken and lamb, and let me tell you it didn't disappoint ( the chicken was better!). Perfectly cooked rice, crisp cucumber and tomatoes and the spicy pepper was perfect. The naan although thin were a great texture wish I had ordered more. The samosas were stuffed with potatoes, peas and spices they didn't even need the 2 sauces that came with it. The cardamom tea was so cozy on a chilly day like today. They have a rewards program so make sure you sign up and save some cash on your first order. I'll be back to explore more of the menu. :) Bathroom rating:5/5

This place is AMAZING!!! I am already planning when I can go back and what I'm going to get! The staff is friendly and even brought our food to us. The restaurant has lots of seating and was very clean! You could totally do a grab and go order too, just a short wait as things are made fresh to order. There is a good amount of parking as well, only downside is getting back out onto Baltimore Pike during the rush (making a left? Good luck lol). The portions are huge and fairly priced. This is my new favorite spot in Bel Air!!!

    My gyro

We were in bel air for work and went in for lunch. It was about 1:00, and there weren't many people there, which is a damn shame! This place was great! I ordered the gyro, and my friend ordered the golden pita which is saffron chicken chunks in the pita. We got waffle fries and onion rings. We ordered at the counter, but there were menus on the counter, so they might be full service if you go in and sit - we just saw the menu above the counter and jumped right in. The SUPER sweet lady that took our order came by our table while we waited for our food and brought us a couple of little bowls of their lentil soup, "on the house." Y'all. I didn't think I liked lentil soup. I WAS WRONG. They blitz it at the end, so it's smooth and creamy (idk if there's actual dairy in it, but the texture is lovely). It's beautifully seasoned with a spice blend that among others, featured cumin. It also had some little strips of fried something (tortilla? Pita? Idk) in it. The vibe was very close to Tex Mex , but that's probably because we eat a lot of that and strongly associate cumin with that cuisine even though it's also featured in so many other cuisines. We loved it, and giving us that little free taste would net regular orders of this soup if we lived near here. Smart! Our pitas were delicious. The sear on my lamb was gorgeous, and the chicken in my friend's pita was gloriously yellow and juicy. The bread was lightly toasted in the outside. I will say, these were not the monster size pitas I've grown accustomed to back home, but it was plenty of food. I'm not a big waffle fry girl (crinkles ftw!), but these were your standard waffle fry - no complaints. But the onion rings were AWESOME. Crispy, thick cut, beautifully seasoned - just what you're looking for. My friend's pita came with two containers of sauce - one white, one green. I had assumed the white would be tzatziki, but I feel like it was something else - tangy and thinner than that. The green sauce was something very herbal and fresh tasting. I thought that was really nice. As we were leaving, we chatted with the lady behind the register, and she told us that these are her family's recipes. This is a family owned business, and at least some of these recipes come from her grandmother! Y'all get over there and get some of that good food. Definitely recommend.

I spent some time in the Middle East and this delicious food brought back some wonderful memories. I had the Chicken Saffron that came with their salad, saffron rice, tomato slice, pepper, and large pieces of tasty saffron chicken kabob with a white and a green sauce. My wife ordered the Mango curry chicken. Outstanding. We ate slow so we could eat these large portions. I like the layout too! We took home deserts: Dubai chocolate, pistachio tres leches cake, baklava, gulab Jamun. HOME MADE Dubai Chocolate! The staff so sweet, knowledgeable and respectful. They will be able to help guide your food choices.

OMG!! Chicken Curry - Get it! Absolutely AMAZING- best EVER. The lentil soup is out of-this -world....literally. I seriously drank it from the bowl and get it every time I come here. Today I ordered the Shiraz Salad and I loved this too. The seasoning added to the goodness of the cucumber, tomato and onion creating a flavor you'll want to savor. Get a spoon so you can ladle the juice. David I'll be telling everyone about your culinary GEM! Thank you. Wendy Nowakowski CEO - UBrandYourself

I only leave reviews when i really love something and believe in it. Since Kabob Korner has opened, my partner and I have been regular customers and probably have eaten there at least 5 times. As a self proclaimed chicken snob I can say that their chicken kabob is amazing in ALL the ways. It's always juicy and seasoned to perfection and the portion is generous! The rice it comes with has flavors I've never tasted in rice before! SO good!!! Aside from the food, the staff is always warm and welcoming when you walk in! And if you get a chance, try their Chai! I had the ginger and my partner had the cardamom and both were great! The perfect cozy drink on a cold day!! I wish them so much luck on this new endeavor! We needed a restaurant like this in town!

Stop what you're doing and try Kabob Korner!!! Everything was a 10/10 from the delicious food all the way to the excellent customer service. Mr. David the owner is so pleasant and he takes pride in making his customers happy. His son Zach works the front and he is so knowledgeable on all the menu items. He was quick to offer recommendations which I loved. The restaurant is tidy and inviting as well. Also, loved how quick the food came out and their generous portions. You have a new loyal customer! I look forward to coming back soon.

Ordered the lamb kabob, had to search the platter for where the lamb pieces were. Not worth the price, $20 for this. Probably not coming back anytime soon

My son and I went here after the wrestling match at Belair high school. We really enjoyed the food and the people there were extra extra friendly. My son got the Gyro and he really enjoyed it and he fried onion rings perfectly cooked. He said the taste of the Gyro was excellent. I got the beef kebab which was a little bit tough, but the flavor in the sauce that was with it made it up for the dryness. I enjoyed the salad of onions, tomatoes, and cucumbers.ixed together it was a satisfying meal.

I was given a card my first visit to Shah's when I ordered the chapli chicken platter, a bowl with ground chicken patties with spices, and included a few pakora chips. The bowls are customized at the counter, adding sauteed peppers'n'onions, black beans, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, hummus, chickpeas, etc. I usually keep it simple. They are very generous with their signature white sauce and you might want to ask for less, and the green sauce is tasty too. The pakora chips are very good, I recommend anyone skip the french fries this time to try them instead. I wasn't a fan of the pita, thick and without much flavor. The fish had just the right amount of coating and was very good. I'd skip the chicken kofta, it was too dry. Overall, good.

The server suggested that my husband and I try the buffet so we could taste everything, and that we order from the menu next time I visit. I'm so happy she suggested that. The menu itself was big and it had so many things to chose from . Now lets talk about this lunch buffet, but before I do that, let me share that, I shared with the server that I didn't want to go look at the buffet options because I didn't want to look at the food and others get the wrong idea, so she took the liberty of walking me to the buffet and showing me each item, detailing what it was and the flavor it encompassed, I can't express how much I appreciate her doing that. The buffet menu had so many great options, including chicken masala, curry goat, and so much more. The curry goat was my favorite, the meat was so tender and the flavors were infused perfectly. The rice, the noodles and every single item that I tasted, was absolutely delicious! The service was awesome, our server was attentive, courteous and very pleasant. The service was attentive throughout our meal, and every dish arrived beautifully plated with great attention to detail. We started with the Beyti Sujuk Rolls and the Beetroot Hadiqa. The rolls were one of my favorite appetizers. They were crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the yogurt and tomato sauce. The Beetroot Hadiqa was equally impressive, with beets, apples, walnuts...it was a refreshing combination of sweet, savory, and creamy flavors. For our entrees, we ordered the Riyash of Lamb and the Freekeh Short Rib. The lamb chops were cooked beautifully and served over couscous with broccolini, while the pistachio crust added a nice texture. The Freekeh Short Rib was incredibly tender and the rich beef jus paired perfectly with the mushrooms. It was hearty, comforting, and one of the best short rib dishes I've had. The cocktails were just as memorable. I ordered the Asfar So Good, while my partner had the Ashita Affair. Both were beautifully presented with a silky foam on top and were as delicious as they looked. The Asfar So Good was light, refreshing, and well-balanced with subtle floral and citrus notes, while the Ashita Affair had a smooth, creamy texture with pistachio and rose flavors that made it feel almost like a dessert cocktail without being overly sweet. This is definitely on the pricier side, but the quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and service justify the cost. Every plate felt thoughtfully prepared, and the overall experience was memorable from start to finish. If you're looking for elevated Middle Eastern cuisine, creative cocktails, and one of the most beautiful dining rooms in Baltimore, Ammoora is absolutely worth the splurge.
