I've recently re-discovered Fiesta Grill after about 3 years. Not sure why we stopped going probably because we were visiting too much. We wanted to order the "Surf & Turf" Burrito a few weeks ago but they happened to be out of the ingredients same with the Crab & Shrimp Burrito. We ended up ordering the Mixed Burrito which was excellent. Imagine a nice variety of protein seasoned perfectly and rolled into a tortilla with some veggies-perfect. When we called recently for the Surf & Turf they did have it. It's as good as I remember it. steak and Crab with rice/veggies in a burrito with their own seasonings & it's huge so two can share (the case with all of their burritos). We also like their Fiesta Nachos-Nacho Chicken as well all varieties of the Quesadillas. The interior of the restaurant could use some updates. That said, we've always ordered take out. I believe they've changed owners and it's great to see the quality of the food has stayed consistent & they've added more items to the menu. Their food is delicious but their service and consistently being out of foods has driven their star value down. Let's just give an example of the service. Say you ordered a to go order....well when it's done and you are probably watching the one TV they have or you may be messing with your phone...well instead of the employee coming over to you they yell hello excuse me. Come on now that's rude, I have seen that and been a customer they have done it to. Then when trying to order let me just tell you they DONT have fish tacos anymore, and please ask before you start ordering what they do have when it comes to certain items. Each time the tamales or plantains or something has been out and they claim it will be in next week. It's truly disappointing because their food is delicious. The prices are fair. The dining area is nothing special brut gets the job done. So all in all it's a great place to eat if you make sure you either call ahead or ask when you get their what they have available that you may want just in case what you want isn't available that day. read more

Service was TERRIBLE.......If we're giving you money don't act like we're bothering you. Yes I was there exactly at 11am . Lady looks at me and looked like I was bothering her. She goes to unlock the door and cracks it just enough to unlock it, while letting the door close in my face . Go to place my order to her saying to me "what do you want " language barrier or not that's not how you talk to a customer. Stopped into this little cafe for dinner and what a surprise. The inside was simple, but the food was heavenly. Ordered the Tipico Platter Savadoran and there was so much food that I did not know where to start. The food was hot and the meat was a mix of charred just right with spices that made you want to eat everything. This place is a must. read more

I can't believe this place has good reviews. I am so disgusted with their food. Me and my boyfriend decided to give it a whirl because we like mexican food. So why not go to a place local? I walked in, people were chatting about how great it was. I was excited. I ordered chicken tacos and a fish taco meal. It smelled wonderful in the bag. I got home, opened it up and and a FULL fish Fried in a container!! Scales, eyes, fins.... Whole damn thing!!! And the chicken tacos? Burnt to a freaking char. Worst 29$ ever spent. This is my favorite local Mexican place to eat at. They've changed their menu a few times since I've been going here. The food is always made to order (meaning you might have to wait 5-10 min for your food after you order). The food is so good that it's not surprising that the place is rarely empty. The portions seem to be about the right size, so you probably won't have any left overs. Usually, I spend about $10-$15/person when I come here. More often than not, I have to clean my own table when I arrive. Don't let the lack of a clean table keep you from eating in the house; you don't want to risk a portion of your food getting soggy because you took it home. Overall, the only ambiance that this place has is created by the Mexican music, and some pitiful looking decorations that are clinging to their off-color walls. It's definately not a fancy place, but the food is good enough that I've had a few dine and dash dates here. [Maybe dine and dash isn't the right term since I did pay before I received my food, but I mean to say I didn't linger after I ate.] Besides lacking draft beer (they have bottles), they are missing a salsa bar. The hot salsa isn't spicy at all to me. The mild salsa is equally underwhelming. Also, they don't have any jaritas machines, not even a pina colada machine. No Mexican candy either, but the Hispanic grocer on the right might have something for you. Also, they stack their dirty dishes to the right of the cash register. It may be convenient for the workers since they have an open garbage barrel right there to throw to old food in, but I dislike walking past it to get to the bathrooms. I'm writing in hopes that management/ownership sees this and takes some action. 3-4 years ago Fiesta Grill was one of my favorite spots. I would get chicken nachos and tacos. The nachos were packed with flavor and the meats had an excellent smoked flavor. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the language barrier was easily overcome. Today the staff seems unfriendly, disinterested, generally unhappy. I always put in an extra effort be nice to them because they seem so unwelcoming and I still leave a tip despite being unimpressed with most visits. The food is good, but not great. It's inconsistent. Occasionally very good like it used to be, but now mostly just adequate. I think they have little standardization of their ingredients or poor inventory control, as flavors and ingredients are inconsistent. The napkins are the worst. They use dispensers that are meant to hold the DX900 series double ply interfold napkins but they fill them with tiny single-ply napkins that do not properly come out of those dispensers. read more

I was in town for a day and wanted to have good Mexican food. The reviews on Yelp helped me decide to go to this place (most of the bad reviews are because of bad service). It's simple and small, order at the counter, and somewhat of an extensive menu with Salvadorian and Mexican dishes. I ordered 4 tacos and a pupusa; the food was full of flavors but a little small for the price (the shrimp taco only had 3 shrimp). The horchata was also very good. Authentic delicious El Salvadorian dishes. The yuca, enchiladas and tacos were prepared well and full of flavor.

My husband wanted to try this restaurant. He heard good things. We walked up to the store front and I thought it was closed because the windows were incredibly dirty. You could hardly see inside. The woman behind the counter took our order after she got off of her phone. The restaurant was dirty, Christmas decorations everywhere and it's April. Maybe if the cashier got off of her phone she would have time to take down the holiday decorations AND clean the windows. I could see into the kitchen from where I was sitting. The cashier and the chef both put a glove on their left hand only, but touched the food WITH THEIR RIGHT HANDS!! The food was not good. I had a few bites and couldn't eat anymore. This is my fav local Mexican place. Don't be afraid of the extremely casual environment, the food is well worth it! Always filled with Mexicans, sometimes even Mexican guys coming from work at other local restaurants, this place is the real deal. Food is fresh and made to order and everything is authentic. My fav thing is the surf and turf burrito filled with steak, lump crab, and rice smothered in a creamy luxurious seafood sauce. If I remember correctly its only 12 or 13 dollars, a huge deal considering the proportion. Also don't forget to try the authentic Mexican horchata! I used to get this sweet cinnamon rice milk drink and a snicker doodle cupcake at the place next door. Fiesta Grill is a very basic Mexican restaurant, primarily oriented at takeout orders. There is little seating. My boyfriend and I ate in here with a Restaurant.com certificate. Compared to the nearby and similarly priced La Tolteca, they skimped out on a lot, like chips and metal silverware. Nevertheless, the food was tasty and prepared quickly. This place is not good. The "dining" area is old and needs to have a complete overhaul. The place could also use a good cleaning. There is a hint of bug spray smell as well. Not a good atmosphere at all. The employees lack communication skills and are not friendly at all. To try and order what you want is frustrating. They have a lot of flags hanging in the dining area but not one American Flag, that's sad. The food was not good either, just sub par. We couldn't wait to leave, each time we went. Went here on a whim for lunch with a group of friends before heading back down to college. Authentic, moderately priced Mexican food that beats the hell out of the nearby Qdoba/Chipotle. They have a 'specials of the day board' by the cashier with 3-4 entrees that vary daily. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos which were absolutely delicious. Heaping portions, good flavors and minimum prices made for a great experience. -1 star deduction due to the angry woman behind the counter, however she spoke very little English so the language disconnect may have been confused for fury. read more

My family and I ate here last night for dinner upon reading all the reviews on yelp. I had to surf and turf burrito and I didn't think it was very good. It was doused in way too much sauce and did not have very much meat in it. My kids had the Carne Asada tacos and my wife shared the fajitas with another kid. The bill was over $50 which I thought was quite high for this food. We did not order any drinks either we brought our own water. Despite what Yelp says they do not serve beer or wine. They also stopped taking restaurant.com coupons. Finally they had no soap or paper towels in the bathroom. We asked them if they had any and they said no. Amazing!! You'd be surprised because this place is so small and quiet. However, id call it the best kept secret in bel air. A super authentic and delicious blend of Mexican and El Salvadoran cuisine. The food is affordable and so filling. My parents are regulars and eat here multiple times a week every week. Some of our favorites are fiesta chicken nachos, papulsas and shrimp tacos. 11/25/20 at 11:39am just stopped in to place an order. I observed several of the staff preparing food with out wearing masks. We are in the height of a COV-19 resurgence. The front counter has plexiglass shields and the person waiting on me wore a mask. He attempted to tell me he prepared the food but I could clearly see staff in the kitchen area preparing the food (as in putting food in to take out boxes). This place is counter service, which is cool by me, but they're not very... attentive of the counter IMO. Our food was great, and came out in a reasonable amount of time, I quite enjoyed my burrito (Pork & Green chili iirc) and my roommate enjoyed his green chili chicken enchiladas, but they were a bit spicy! Regardless, we'll definitely be sampling more of the menu, but we might do like the other folks here and get takeout. I think there food is great! But their service, hours of operation, under standing English enough to get your order right is horrible! They need some1 who can speak both English and Spanish! Too many times they mess up, do what they want with ur order or just OK what ur saying on the phone then u get there, u whole conversion went out the window! Example; I called in my order, mixed burrito with cheese on the side. She understood perfectly we were good there. Then I called back to tell them to add to that order, she said OK what do u want, I explained clearly that I just called and to add to my order and for them to make 2 mixed burritos in total for this order. She replied with ok no problem. I get there to pick up/pay and they only have 1 mixed burrito made? I explained how remember how I called back 2 mins later and said to add to my order and u said no problem. So I said ok well can u just make another mixed burrito for me, she said the grill is closed now (720pm) so now whats my g/f supposed 2 eat? Sounded like she knew exactly what I wanted on the phone! What changed? Was it purposely done cuz they wanted to roll out? Thats what I think! It would take a max of 10 min to correct ur mistakes and make a customer happy! Food great but service sucks! We frequently have Fiesta Grill for dinner. The first time we went there it was because we had a restaurants.com gift certificate. When we arrived, I almost didnt go in. Glad we did though. Food is very good and priced very reasonably. As others have mentioned, you may want to pick up the food rather than dine in. The seating is very limited and at dinner times, usually all taken. The ambiance is...well... let's just say they didnt put a lot of money into their dining area. The food is definitely worth trying though. Their guacamole is fantastic. So is their bean and cheese papusas from the kids menu. Every time I get one of these for my lil one I have to get another for myself. They're awesome. Other dishes we loved include the wet burrito, fish tacos, enchilada verde (hot!), the fried plantians, corn tamales, surf and turf burrito... and others I can't recall. Have yet to have a bad dish. My only critique might be their refried beans. They could use a bit more cumin or something... not as flavorful as we'd like. read more
