every time i come here, i literally order the same thing--tacos with chips and salsa. this is the only place i get my salsa from because they make it absolutely perfect. the chips are always fresh, and the tacos are so good every single time. i love all the toppings and sides that come with them, and everything always tastes fresh and authentic. the food is consistently amazing, which is why i keep coming back. definitely one of my favorite mexican restaurants! read more

Food was so delicious. The fajitas were so flavorful. Amazing tacos. Came here after a hike on our way to Baltimore.

Super good + Birria-lent! ;) A fast-casual Mexican-American restaurant at the back of a supermarket gives speakeasy vibes. The lunchtime line was long but moved quickly and lets you decide from their wall menu. I ordered Birria Tacos from their specials which are listed on a board closer to the cash register. They were fucking delicious! With deep flavors and lots of dipping stew, I super enjoyed this! I also tried their Tortilla Chips with salsa. They were excellent-- thin, crunchy, and grease-free. Taco 'bout a hidden treasure! ;) NOTES/TIPS: **You need to go through the supermarket to get to this spot. **Plenty of tables. High turnover. Friendly service and patrons. Tap/swipe to pay or cash. **10 types of Jarritos. **Shared shopping plaza parking. read more

Supermercado Campos - Birria Tacos - excellent! - Tacos Near Me - Aberdeen, Maryland

This Mexican grocery has a decent selection of things you won't be able to get even at Wegmans, including a small selection of fresh produce. But in the back is a gem. There's a taqueria and pupuseria in the back! I've had a few different menu items here, and they've all been fabulous. The service is a little slow, but everything is prepared fresh and well worth the wait. read more

Nice spot tucked in behind a grocery story. The restaurant is not fancy, but the food definitely is amazing. My son got the tacos which have a street taco style to them. I got a few pupusas and they were great. The cheese and bean was my favorite one. The market in the front has some hard to find food if you are looking for chips or fruit. They also have drinks like horchata which were different and delicious. It only took about 10 minutes to get our meal and the food was very fresh. I highly recommend the restaurant! read more

This little hole in the wall is one of my favourite treasures in Harford County. When you first walk in you are greeted by the super market aspect of this business. Need ingredients for your perfect elote? A box of horchata to make at home? Plantains? They have it. When you walk all the way to the back you get to the food. A menu is above with both Spanish and English. The service is always wonderful, full of smiles and speedy as well! Now the food is exceptional. I love pupusas and am a sucker for beans and cheese. Top it with the slaw and it is mouth heaven. My dad introduced me to them and I love coming back here to try new things as well as get my pupusa fix. The enchiladas Salvadorenas is a must try. The flavours are indescribable; moist meat, stinky cheese and a hard boiled egg meld together to make this messy dish. It's so delicious. They've never let me down. read more

A hidden gem in a non-descript shopping center in Aberdeen, cross-corner from Ollie's Bargain Outlet. My daughter had a massive steak quesadilla (and I mean MASSIVE). I had birria tacos and cheese pupusas. Haven't had pupusas this good since a long-ago trip to Yuma, AZ. Staff was very friendly and happily helped me practice my Spanish skills. :) The front is a supermarket with lots of imported goods and treats. Very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back. read more

Wish I lived in the area so I could eat here more often! Food is reasonably priced and awesome! Ordered the birria tacos. Expensive for what they are, but very tasty and enjoyable! Always satisfied, never disappoints. No frills just great food and great value. Try the marinated pork bowl.

Convenient supermarket if you stay in the nearby hotels! Bought a banana that was very ripe. The avocado took a few days to ripen. The dining area was closed on a weekday evening read more

Situated at the back of a grocery store, this place has great food. You order at the counter and they give you a number and deliver to your table. The pupusas are great, although my favorite are the balatas with avocado and eggs. read more

You know a meal is good when you wake up the next day thinking about it! This was the BEST take out meal I've had in a long time. For some reason post COVID food doesn't hit like it used to. Hence, my excitement when I tasted the Mixed Fajita Shrimp, Steak and Chicken platter from Supermercardo. The flavor was excellent and seasoned so well. The portion size to price ratio was AMAZING! The icing on the cake literally was the Tres Leches! I was licking the container and sad when it was gone. I'm already counting down the days until I can go back. #bigbacksunite read more

Awesome spot in the back of a super market. Food was a bit slow but super delicious and reasonable pricing. I got two pupusas which were lovely. I walked around the market while I was waiting read more

Def an authentic vibe. Down with that. Tacos were disappointing. Shrimp was tough, beef was grainy, and chorizo was greasy. They were def heavy handed with the white onion garnish too. The guacamole single handedly brought this review up a start. So smooth and flavorful. Fresh. Could have just eaten this for lunch. read more

They have Baleadas, Pupusa's, tacos and so much more!!! It's all so delicious! I love all the sides they give you when you are taking it to go as well. Their produce is always fresh and normally the avacados are ready so I can use them that day or a few days later. Oh and their plantains are normally always ready as well and they are cheap! Gotta give this place 5 stars. Most of the workers are Spanish speaking but some do understand basic English. I know Spanish but not extremely well so I did my best to speak Spanish but I felt like if you did not know any Spanish you would still be able to communicate. The workers were all super nice, you can tell they're all hard workers. The food itself was amazing. Definitely authentic and honestly great prices. This was a great find and I will be coming back. I got the elote, birria tacos, pupusa, side of rice, and it was all amazing. read more

Wow! This food was absolutely amazing! We ordered an order of yucca con chicharron, which was a good appetizer and had a nice crunch to it. The cabbage with tomato sauce along with the yucca and pork was very tasty and a good accompaniment to the mild flavors. The campechano steak and chorizo burrito was huge and delicious and I could only eat half. Love to have leftovers for the next day...a special treat! We also ordered one al pastor taco to try and it was definitely my favorite meat. It has a nice sweetness to the pork marinade with the right amount of chili seasoning added. We also had a steak burrito bowl, which was unbelievably good too. Nice grocery selection and large, clean eat-in area. Everyone was taking precautions during Covid...masks and gloves were being worn by employees and tables were spread out. The customer service was really good too. We placed our order online and the food was ready exactly when expected...prompt and with a smile. I'm not sure how long this awesome place has been here but it's a hidden gem! I can't wait to be back! read more

I was so happy there was a place to get real tacos directly accords from my hotel with such high ratings. However I was disappointed. The service was good, but the shrimp tacos were not. This is a hidden gem. Who knew there was a restaurant in the back of this supermarket!!! Have loved all the various tacos I've tried and the carne asada. Definitely order the chips and salsa and guac while you wait. Service is reasonable quick despite the fact the place is very crowded at lunchtime. Though sometimes it is hard to get a table. And, just be prepared that it is no frills. Love that you can pick up local Latino ingredients on your way out - one stop shopping! Definitely check this place out! read more

I LOVE EVERYTHING about this spot. 1st, it's located in a rather unassuming shopping center and I completely wouldn't expect it to be here. When we arrived, the name says 'Supermercado Campos'. To me that meant we were going to eat lunch at a supermarket. Ummmm... okay. Let's see what this is about. SOOOOOO HAPPY I DID! Upon entering, you walk into a local Latin supermarket. Delicious looking treats were everywhere. There was an entire wall dedicated to dried hot peppers... Oh Myyyyyy. Once you get through the market and head to the back area, it opens up to a sit down restaurant style spot. The smells wafting the air were AMAZING!!! I was so excited to try. My eating companion decided on various tacos @ $2/each. They came out PACKED with ingredients and smelled delicious. I was a little delicious but was looking forward to my selections. I opted for 1) Pupusa frijol/queso and it was SLAMMIN! When I tell you, the pupusa was fried perfectly and the cheese was ohhhh so ooowey gooey good with beans and flowers inside. So happy I made this selection. On to the main course - I got a 2) burrito de pollo. That thing was MASSIVE and packed with flavorful ingredients. To round things off, the drink selections were such a nice change from what you normally get when you eat out. My 1st drink was hibiscus tea. DAYUM, that was soooooo good! Then I saw a Tamarind drink and I NEVER had that before. I simply HAD to taste it and OH MY G**!!!!! That drink was everything! It tastes just like the tamarind candy you get at the end of some meals. This is DEFINITELY a return visit spot. UPDATE: I returned and this go around I tried the following: 1) Pastelitos De Pollo Con Papas - These are crispy corn dough stuffed w/ chicken, veggies & potatoes. 2) Chicken Tacos - 3) Hibiscus Tea cut w/ lemonade. HEAVEN!!!! read more

Never had a Papusa before but always wanted to try. I went in this market looking for a specific soda my son found in Bogota that he loved and found it on their shelves of packed of Central and South American goodies. I happen to look in he back and see a lot of tables and a little restaurant. I go back to try the food for lunch and told the guy I had never had a papusa before and what did he recommend. He literally lit up in the face because I asked about what he liked in his culture's food. He said, "YOU HAVE TO TRY THE BEAN AND CHEESE!" So, I did. It was so amazing! Now this was a couple of years ago, and I keep coming back for more. Best papusa's, or course, and street tacos around. I loved their fajitas and have tried several other Salvadoran foods and have loved every single one of her. Love the pastalito de papas con pollo! Probably misspelled that. Lol! read more
