    Spinach and Mushroom Chimichanga

My daughter and son-in-law have been raving about Tacos Tolteca. So, I decided I would treat them and me to dinner there. We arrived early on a Friday which was a good thing as the restaurant filled up quickly and patrons were waiting in line to be seated. We were seated right away and they immediately brought over tortilla chips and sauces for dipping. They also took our drink orders. Their menu is extensive. I decided to go with the recommendation of my daughter, and we both enjoyed the Spinach and Mushroom Chimichanga, which had grilled spinach, mushroom, tomatoes and onions wrapped in a flour tortilla - covered in queso dip and served with Spanish rice, guacamole salad and Pico de Gallo, Oh my, it was beyond delicious and filling! The portion was so big, I had the half I could not eat for lunch today. My son-in-law ordered the Fajita de Pollo, which was grilled marinated chicken with onions, tomatoes and bell peppers - served with Spanish rice, refried beans, tomatoes and a guacamole salad topped with grated cheese with flour tortillas. The smells of the fajita were intoxicating. He said it was really good and he thoroughly enjoyed it. If you like Mexican food, then this is your place to come. The food is freshly prepared using quality ingredients and the portions are very generous. I am looking forward to returning for another delicious meal.

Always enjoy eating here. The food is excellent & the service is great. A nice Spanish style vibe too. Our last visit was even yesterday. The holidays did not slow the service down or the food. It's like a party in your mouth! Yummmy!!

Hands down best Mexican restaurant in Harford county. Everything on the menu is delicious. I am not usually a margarita person but the house margarita is the best there is. Staff is so wonderful and always nice. Great place to take the family. It can get crowded at dinner time, so we like going during happy hour before the rush! The chips, salsa and white dip served before your meal is so delicious.

Service is lacking. Today there was simply 1 man and 1 woman working and bussing tables. They played the hostess and bartender as well. Food is pretty solid and the frozen Pina Colada was awesome. I had the shrimp enchilada Whig was delish. The family had a burrito, tacos and quesadilla and all food was devoured. Chips and salsa are legit. The service and cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking. Our waitress was superb and apologetic for how slow dinner was.

It was okay. I got the shrimp tacos my husband got the pork and beef mix not sure what it's called. It was good but not worth the 15 I paid for it. Just didn't have that Mexican flare to it. My husband loved his tacos. And the green salsa they brought with the tacos wasn't too spicy. I also got elote but I didn't take a picture I really wasn't a fan of the cheese they used but overall vibe was nice and so where the people.

Second time back since my poor review from years ago. Great service! Great lunch! Burrito Dragon - steak, onions, chorizo, onions, beans and cheese sauce, $13.99.... two meals!

Update: Still A-OK in my book. Once again we stopped in on a Sunday evening, a bit earlier than last time and it wasn't as crowded. We were seated promptly in the same two-top that we had on our last visit, and chips and salsa were brought to the table several minutes later. We ordered all at once, specifying appetizers of queso and flautas, and entrees of chicken tacos and the three item combo plate, and drinks. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. We were almost done the entire basket of chips by the time our soda and water arrived. I had noticed a lady at the table behind us standing up and looking around; she finally took matters into her own hands and went to the register, and returned with a cup of ice. Uh oh, looks like we could be in for service issues again. I'm not sure how long we had been sitting there at this point, when the DBF predicted that even though we had ordered appetizers, that all of the food was probably going to come out at once. If I had realized he was psychic I would have played the lottery. Sure enough, finally out comes the queso (and we had barely any chips left in our basket by this time), and then two minutes later, out came everything else. When we commented on this, our server happily informed us that the kitchen was working really fast tonight. Super. I enjoyed my chicken tacos supremo very much, and will likely get them again. I was surprised that for $8.99 you only got two tacos and nothing else, no rice or beans. The queso was pretty bland, and the flautas were just ok, nothing to write home about. The DBF thought his order of one chicken enchilada and two chicken burritos w rice and beans was just ok as well. He was unable to differentiate between the enchilada and the burritos, and based on my pic I think he actually received two enchiladas and one burrito. Based on our experiences I think we will skip the lackluster appetizers going forward and just gorge on the complimentary chips and salsa, which was just as good as last time. I will likely return since I've enjoyed my entrees on both occasions, but I don't think the DBF will be in any hurry to come back.

My son had a 1/2 day off school. We went to lunch together. It was Awesome! His was Burrito Rojo. Mine was Burrito Dragon. We shared a side of grilled veggies. Tacos Tolteca's Fallston location. Bill was $38.67...with drinks and free chips with 2 dips. Salsa is very good. Service was fast and attentive. No complaints here.

Been here before a few years ago. I wasn't impressed. This time was a lot better. Fast and courteous service. Presentation not bad. Outside dining problem is the noise from passing cars on the road.

My fav Mexican restaurant in my area. They are incredibly fast and nice. If you get the chance, try their birria tacos. They're so good!! Went here for my 21st and it did not disappoint

The owner here is truly a stand‑up guy. While we were waiting for our table, we watched him be…read moreincredibly kind to a patron with Down syndrome--she came out absolutely beaming because he let her make her own espresso. The restaurant was packed. It was a very kind thing to do. That moment alone set the tone for the night. The food was outstanding. Better than we remembered it being. The bread arrived warm, and the oil had garlic in it. I never dunk in garlic oil, but tonight I was dunking everything. The bolognese was the perfect balance of creaminess, meat, and cheese. We also ordered two pizzas, both very enjoyable, and the lasagna was a hit as well. Our server was attentive and quick with requests, and the owner made a point to stop by most tables, which added a personal touch. We will definitely be back.

Nothing really ever changes here...I've tried it every few months going back 15+ years. I go in…read moreevery few months for lunch and a drink because it's very close and convenient...figure I'll give it another chance. I had the "beef ravioli" a few days ago...the "marinara" sauce is sugary Ragu out of a jar at best. Still the same cheap bread that so obviously came frozen and fell off the back of a Sysco truck. Nice enough people I suppose and the service is perfectly adequate...I guess the family that owns it is trying...but I sure wish the food quality was 3x better at Enotria. Hire a far better chef, charge a couple bucks more if you need to, and buy far better quality ingredients. I'm no restaurant owner, but perhaps the solution is to cut the menu size by a 1/3rd and do the remainder far better. I'd be a regular at Enotria 2-3 times a week if it were actually high-end, fresh, quality Italian. There are carry out places in the area that have significantly better food than Enotria (Italian Sensation being a long time example). Vito's in Cockeysville is 3x better every single time. Drive to Reisterstown and Kecco's is excellent (a bit far away, admittedly). Liberatore's in Bel Air, while not close to as good as Vito's...is certainly better than Enotria and has picked it up during 2025 with a new chef. Enotria is in a tie for dead last Italian food in its area with Basta Pasta in Fallston...that would be the other slop Italian place in the area. I'd gladly pay more for a lunch or a dinner at Enotria if it were much higher caliber Italian food...and I suspect a lot of others would too. Enotria as it stands is completely cliche, marginal, "least common denominator" Italian food at most. Just because you play the same Dean Martin songs on repeat and yell "Bella Bella" to every woman that walks through the front door doesn't mean the food is any good.
