Horrible guac. Store bought salsa. And asked for limes and we got a whole tray. Flavorless limes to boot.

Two stars only because the place looks great! Server was a bit standoffish. Food looked amazing but was awful. My top shelf marg did not taste like it has 1800 in it. Pastor tacos are NOT like the ones found on the streets of Mexico. The pork tastes spongey and flavorless. Wholly guacamole was just that. Store bought guac, we have been gone 5 minutes and our meals are already in the toilet. If you know what I mean! None of us finished our meals. Would not recommend at all. My meal was taken off the bill. But still wouldn't recommend

I am new to Edgewood and have been homesick, missing all of my usual food spots. Being disappointed with everything out here I had to try Tacos Tijuana. The staff are friendly and quick to seat you and get your food out. The food is amazing, I always go for Pupusa's of if I see them on a menu and they have the best pupusa's in Edgewood. They may have the only Pupusa's in Edgewood. The Arroz con Pollo is my go to dish and makes me melt with every bite. The chips are fresh and the pico de galo I basically drink the bowl like Beast drinks his bowl of soup!! I love this place. Might be the only restaurant in Edgewood worth going to on a daily basis! They have a restaurant side and a bar side with a huge dance floor. They also have additional seating like a hall if the party is big enough. Definitely worth going and sitting in, this food is too good to carry out!!

Excellent service by Alejandra and bartender extraordinaire Lily! As her for a handcrafted cocktail - she knows her tequilas!! Food was fresh and delicious and great value. Servers are kind and attentive and do their best to please!

We always passed by this restaurant but never got the time to try it, After watching Taco Chronicles at Netflix, we were looking for a nice Mexican restaurant and we thought about this. No regrets! Their food tastes authentic according to my husband, who's been in Mexico. We found our go to Mexican restaurant

I just moved from San Diego and after having lived there my whole life and briefly in Texas, I have to say this food was AMAZING!! I felt like I was back home eating at a local taco shop. I am so thankful to have found this place! I was losing hope after trying several "Mexican" food placed here in Maryland. Those places left me in tears they were so bad. If you want to try real, AUTHENTIC Mexican food please come here!

This place was eeehh! We had a group of 10 that went here after a meeting. Didn't settle right with me, the bar was Sketchy...didn't feel comfortable. The server wasn't friendly, the service was very slow. The food presented nice, but really wasn't impressed with it. Rice and beans were horrible! Tacos were ok. Margarita was horrible! Watered down. Sorry, just wasn't impressed with this place. What's the deal with the service fee?

Grande Chimichangas only $8.99 and so delicious!!!

A quick jump off I-95 and we stumbled across this gem. We were looking for a quick hit at Chick-fil-A but impulsively u-turned for the festive window paintings of Tacos Tijuana. The place was empty except for the bartender... We were quickly seated and offered a basket of cold tortilla chips and salsa. Service was good and the waiter/bartender offered suggestions when I was unable to decide on which menu item to order. I went with the Grande Chimichanga and it was delicious. My partner had the Chimichanga house special which was a little salty...But we have noticed this commonality between authentic Mexican restaurants when it comes to their red sauce. The prices were very reasonable for portion sizes and their salsa con queso was creamy and flavorful. Another bonus was the bottle of Valentina Salsa Picante placed on our table. My favorite hot sauce of all time...Imported from Guadalajara. We plan to return the next time we find ourselves traveling in this area.

We did not eat here. The atmosphere is unclean from the floors, exterior, and bathrooms. No one greeted us at the hostess station. We left.

So I opted not to go because I wanted to experience their atmosphere, customer service and food on a normal day of operation. Fast forward to the evening after Cinco de Mayo. I came in and I was kindly greeted, and since I was flying solo I went to the bartender was quick to greet me, got my chips and salsa to me (which is on the house), and took my drink order. The music was very festive on the inside, the wraparound bar is a nice touch, and the atmosphere overall definitely sets a vibe. I ordered some queso dip cause, why not and it paired nicely with the salsa. I then proceeded to order the Quesabirria Taco dish that was phenomenal and I HIGHLY recommend. The birria consommé that comes with it, it so good so dip those tacos like your tastebuds depend on it. To say the least I am glad I went there the day after Cinco de Mayo and while I'm sure it was a vibe itself, I don't think I would have quite gotten the service and experience I did when they are operating on a normal day. All good things in moderation I guess‍.

The portion was also half the size that my kids usually get. Maybe it was just a fluke- I dunno- but I'll give it another try before deciding whether or not to order from here again. Kids love the food here but I'm just really upset with the significant difference in portions and the surcharge. When I tried to ask for more of an explanation - he just gestured to the door.

We were very lucky; as soon as we sat down, the place filled up with customers and there were many waiting to be seated. Our waitress came over and took our drink order and we asked for a little time to place our appetizer order. When the waitress returned, we placed our order and she asked us to place our main course order. We asked if we could wait until she brought the appetizer. She never returned. We waited and watched as she continued to go from table to table taking orders, delivering orders and occasionally looking our way. Finally, the owner came to our table and took our order. Our food was brought to us by the waitress and that was the last we saw of her. Still, people waiting for table seating. Other customers finishing their meals and we wait. And wait. And wait. Finally, the owner comes back over to us as our waitress watches. We told him that we have been waiting for a box and the check for over twenty minutes. I guess she thought that we made her wait to take our order, that she would make us wait for our dinner. The owner apologized, brought a box and the check. And the waitress watched. Her passive-aggressive behavior was amazing. As we were leaving, the owner apologized again. We have always enjoyed eating at his restaurant. The owner is such a hard-working gentleman and the food is so good. It is a shame that his business is being ruined by this waitress. As good as the food is, the service was horrible. I can honestly say we will not be back.

The restaurant was not busy so I'm not sure why they didn't process it until I showed up to ask about it. My order looks like it was thrown together quickly and the sauce for the enchilada is all inside the bag and handles.
