Hello. I went here yesterday, Cinco de Mayo. My wait was an hour and a half., which makes sense considering its a Mexican Restaurant on Cinco de Mayo! The good thing is, the wait time was pretty much on target. It was crowded inside and plenty of ppl waiting outside, in their cars, etc. The place was busy however it was fun to be apart of the atmosphere. The wait once we were seated wasn't too bad either. I did have one issue, the server moved too fast. She took my friends order and moved to the next table, she forgot to take my order! My friend had to call her back ( reason for 4 stars instead of 5). The food and the drinks were great, the ambiance was nice, very loud however, again...Cinco de mayo. The music, costumes and decorations were great as well. The space is also very pretty. Its not very big, which explains the wait, they also have a small carryout area. They have parking as well. I am definitely going back! Try them if you haven't! read more

Yep... this is the place for delicious Mexican food! It is located in a strip mall and has plenty of parking. There is a large bar inside, as well as some high tops and then additional seating in the dining room area. There is also a small patio area with table and heaters. Very cute decor throughout. Service was spectacular from the hostess to the server to the food runners. You will not wait long for food. Started with some chips and guacamole which were fabulous. Then, ordered the chorizo queso - highly recommend! It is lick the bowl delicious. The chips are made perfectly. Our party of four ordered several dishes - Bistec Encebollado (huge portion), Bistec a la Mexicans (huge portion) which both came with rice, tortillas, and beans... Tacos Dorados (yummy), Birra Burrito (delicious), and Surf & Turf tacos (another highly recommended dish) and every single item ordered was FANTASTIC! There wasn't one item brought to the table that wasn't amazing. The portions are great and the prices are reasonable. We did order spicy margaritas and they didn't disappoint as well. Other tables around is ordered some tasty looking cocktails as well. Mexican isn't a choice that we make for dinner options. However, after finding this gem of a place we will be making plans to come back and try other items on the menu. Looks can be deceiving! This place is in a strip mall so I wondered what it was going to be like, however the inside is so cute and cozy, the food is delicious and each time I've visited we've had great service! I had never tried their brunch before, they have a limited brunch menu on Saturdays, while I didn't order from the brunch menu two of my friends did and they loved their food! I had the chimichanga and while it wasn't the best I had ever had it was delicious! I also had a pineapple breeze mocktail and we shared chips + queso which was delicious! I am a chips + queso girl so if you can win me over with your chips + queso I am sold! This is my second visit and both of the entrees I tried each time were delicious! This restaurant is amazing! I visited this restaurant while in the area visiting family. The menu offers a number of different enticing options. It took me a minute to decide what to order. I settled on the Tacos Dorados. As an appetizer, our table orders the Choriqueso. The queso with chorizo is as absolutely, positively on point. This menu item is a must order. You will not be disappointed. The Tacos Dorados was SLAPPIN'. I ordered carnita meat with the fried tacos, which were topped with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheese. It was so good. I was not so much fan of their rice and black beans, but regardless of that, the main entree was great. Check out my pic of the Steak Fajita Platter. It was ordered by a member of my party. He absolutely loved his order. The customer service here was superb! I mean exceptional! Our waitress was pleasant when chatting with us and taking our orders. Ive had mixed feelings about TL although gave it another try yesterday since my co-worker wanted something out of the ordinary. TL delivered with the Shrimpoltle Burrito and I on the other hand got the Enchilada with shrimp. Both good meals! Overpriced for the type and qualify of food received. I ordered the Aztec Salad ($13) w/ Chicken ($15) and a side of guacamole ($6!). The side of guacamole which wasn't even pure guacamole--some sort of blend mixture and paying $6 for it is excessive. The chicken was grilled chicken breast which was dry with no flavor. The Aztec Salad consists of romaine lettuce, corn, black beans, cheese and tortillia chips, and the dressing was some sort of lime flavored water. Paying $21 for a mediocre salad is not good and not my idea of a good dining experience so I won't be returning to Taco Love. By the way the price of a margarita was $11 (which we skipped). The price for 3 fish tacos were $16.99 and we had to ask twice for lettuce and tomato for the tacos as they were not brought out with the meal. This place is always busy however the wait time for a table of two on a Friday night was quick. It took about 20-30 minutes to get seated. I wish you could place a reservation so that is my con. The vibe and decor of the place is nice. It is very loud but the place is clean and even had fresh flowers at each table. For the food, I'd say going on Taco Tuesday for the deals would be worth it! What happened to one of my favorites? I have been coming to Taco Love since it was a little original 4 table establishment. I always considered one of the best Mexican restaurants. Today my wife and I stopped for lunch. Chicken tacos, chunks of tasteless chicken that to the best I could tell may have had a bit of pepper for seasoning. Chewy gristle was an added bonus. Side order of beans could have passed for soup. I literally used my fork to strain the broth to get to beans. I really hope this was just a bad day but after this experience I don't see a return in my future. read more

For anyone that lives within a 15 minute drive it's not the worst option but we drove a ways to meet friends who do live close by. The company was worth it but the food was not. Shout out to one of the best bartenders, Danny. He made sure we were taken care of and made excellent drinks. Carlos, our waiter, was mindful of all our needs. The manager, Gilliam, checked on us periodically to ensure all was well. THE FOOD IS A TEN TEN TEN!! This place has authentic Mexican cuisine. I love the Birra and shrimp tacos. The jalapeno margarita is tasty. I tried the Strawberry Lemonade cocktail. It was delicious. My husband loves the veggie chimichanga with extra heat . Everyone else had different items off the menu. Went here to celebrate my birthday with my mom - who has repeatedly claimed that she doesn't like Mexican food, but by the end of this meal told me to put Taco Love Grill on my list of restaurants to revisit because she enjoyed her meal so much. And they don't have ginger ale, even though they have a bar. Those are really my only two concerns. There was a small child endlessly kicking the hell out of the booth he was sitting in behind us, but kids are gonna kid. For our appetizers we had Choriqueso (Chorizo & melted monterrey jack) with chips (I really wanna mix our leftovers with some scrambled eggs) and carnitas nachos (Served with black beans, melted cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato & jalapeños). I messed up and forgot to say no lettuce. My boyfriend will eat a salad, but there better not be lettuce on his sandwiches or whatever else. He did still eat some of the nachos though. He couldn't resist the huge pieces of pork. And I got a small dish of guacamole because I love it, and I recently discovered that my mom loves avocado. For entrees my boyfriend and I had the birria tacos (3 BIRRIA Tacos: Beef stew meat and melted Monterrey Jack cheese served on corn tortillas smothered on birria juice then toasted on the griddle. Served with a side of birria juice and cilantro and onions on the side). This is why we went to Taco Love Grill. We'd never had birria tacos before and felt deficient. Would recommend. They may be my boyfriend's new favorite thing. My mom had the Shrimp Stuffed Avocado (Whole avocado stuffed with grilled shrimp & our special mojo sauce). The avocado was huge and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned. She loved every bite of it. Take that, Mrs 'I don't like Mexican food'! It was a really great meal. My wife & I visited this cute spot off of a recommendation from my cousin. It was nice, clean, friendly & an overall good time. We sat at the bar & enjoyed drinks & nachos. We also ordered traditional tacos which is my wife's favorite. Believe it or not, it's not easy to find authentic traditional tacos. They were delicious. Fresh ingredients & authentic. The variety of tequila was impressive & the bar tenders were awesome! The other guests were pretty nice as well. I like a diverse establishment & they seem to welcome all!! How could you improve ? Where to start ? Some complementary chips and salsa like all the restaurants in the country. Make sure people know that you are hitting them with "service charge" even though I'm sure it's in small letters somewhere on menu. If you're going to make us pay tip, how bout offering superior service or at least come back to the table at least one time while a table of 4 is eating. Don't show up after we are done eating and looking around for a server to refill a drink and ask if we're all done. Honestly it all makes sense when check came and almost $20 in tip automatically added. This policy insures shitty service. The server doesn't have to worry about good service, they're covered. Good or bad they get 18%. Lastly the steak and chicken fajita combo could use more of the meat and less vegetables. There was at least 3-4 peppers and onions to every piece of meat ‍. Maybe offer a desert ? How people think this place is beyond me ? Never is a long time and I'll never go back. I suggest el salto perry hall or parkville or tacos Tolteca kingsville. read more

Taco love is by far one of the best Mexican places ever! It's so authentic and cultural. Also have I mentioned how appealing the servers are? Omg! Oh and they always give free shots when celebrating any special occasion or maybe I'm just a regular, I don't know. Honestly I don't even know how to pronounce what I'm ordering, they kinda just surprise me and I'm always happy. The drinks especially are pefecto! You might think that I'm intoxicated while writing, and I would have to agree, but I love taco love and the staff and I appreciate all that they do for the community. TLDR: Fantastic Mexican food. One of the few places in the Baltimore area that serves noteworthy birria. Immensely popular restaurant, so there can be a wait on occasion, but well worth it. Vibe: 4/5. Located in a strip mall, they occupy a fairly large space with plenty of parking. Taco Love offers bar seating at their huge wrap around bar as well as both indoor and outdoor tables. Decor is that of your standard Mexican restaurant with the added flare of wall murals in the bar area. Service: 4/5. The restaurant always seems busy, which isn't exactly a bad thing. On our last trip we sat in the bar area at a high top table adjacent to the bar, but we had a regular server. He was juggling a few other parties during our meal, so service sometimes lagged (ie. water cups and paying the bill) but was never too inconveniencing. Most importantly, food and drinks came out in a timely manner as well as being prompt in taking our initial order. Food: 5/5. We specifically came here for the birria tacos and were not disappointed. To our surprise, we found out that they offered birria quesadillas as well, so we ordered both the tacos and a quesadilla. Taco Love's birria beef is super savory and tender, braised to perfection. The consommé is packed full of flavor, yet not greasy/fatty as one may think upon first glance. Out of the 2, the quesadilla edged out a win over the tacos. The combo of melted cheese intertwined with birria beef, griddled to perfection in a soft tortilla worked wonders on our taste buds. Not saying the tacos weren't tasty, but the execution of the quesadilla was next level and honestly, the quesadilla is more user intuitive when dipping into consommé. read more

I have been coming here for a while and never had a problem. I typically sit at a table. So on October 21 I came in as soon as they opened. I was greeted at the door by the hostess And sat at the bar.There were 2 white guys seated prior to me coming in and another white guy seated to the right of me. The bar tender took the 2 guys order and then went to the other white guy and took his order and skipped me (black woman)and went to a white couple that came in sometime later. Another bar tender came and took my order. The first bar tender only brought me the check, he wasn't busy. He just taking the white couples order. I will not patronize this business ever again. The customer service is horrendous and it's sad because the food is okay. I'm sure I'll find a better Mexican spot to go too. I should've just went to the Local like I started too. read more
