Good quality tacos. Typical Mexican cuisine. Chips and queso were good and service was friendly and relatively quick. They auto charge you 18% gratuity.
Hello. I went here yesterday, Cinco de Mayo. My wait was an hour and a half., which makes sense considering its a Mexican Restaurant on Cinco de Mayo! The good thing is, the wait time was pretty much on target. It was crowded inside and plenty of ppl waiting outside, in their cars, etc. The place was busy however it was fun to be apart of the atmosphere. The wait once we were seated wasn't too bad either. I did have one issue, the server moved too fast. She took my friends order and moved to the next table, she forgot to take my order! My friend had to call her back ( reason for 4 stars instead of 5). The food and the drinks were great, the ambiance was nice, very loud however, again...Cinco de mayo. The music, costumes and decorations were great as well. The space is also very pretty. Its not very big, which explains the wait, they also have a small carryout area. They have parking as well. I am definitely going back! Try them if you haven't!
Yep... this is the place for delicious Mexican food! It is located in a strip mall and has plenty of parking. There is a large bar inside, as well as some high tops and then additional seating in the dining room area. There is also a small patio area with table and heaters. Very cute decor throughout. Service was spectacular from the hostess to the server to the food runners. You will not wait long for food. Started with some chips and guacamole which were fabulous. Then, ordered the chorizo queso - highly recommend! It is lick the bowl delicious. The chips are made perfectly. Our party of four ordered several dishes - Bistec Encebollado (huge portion), Bistec a la Mexicans (huge portion) which both came with rice, tortillas, and beans... Tacos Dorados (yummy), Birra Burrito (delicious), and Surf & Turf tacos (another highly recommended dish) and every single item ordered was FANTASTIC! There wasn't one item brought to the table that wasn't amazing. The portions are great and the prices are reasonable. We did order spicy margaritas and they didn't disappoint as well. Other tables around is ordered some tasty looking cocktails as well. Mexican isn't a choice that we make for dinner options. However, after finding this gem of a place we will be making plans to come back and try other items on the menu. Just a terrific place that is doing a WONDERFUL job creating fresh food with fabulous service. Don't miss out on this!
I've never had any complaints any time I've been here. The customer service is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food is consistently good and full of flavor, and the drinks are always on point. It's a place I can count on for good food, great drinks, and an overall enjoyable experience.
This restaurant is amazing! I visited this restaurant while in the area visiting family. The menu offers a number of different enticing options. It took me a minute to decide what to order. I settled on the Tacos Dorados. As an appetizer, our table orders the Choriqueso. The queso with chorizo is as absolutely, positively on point. This menu item is a must order. You will not be disappointed. The Tacos Dorados was SLAPPIN'. I ordered carnita meat with the fried tacos, which were topped with lettuce, tomato, sour cream and cheese. It was so good. I was not so much fan of their rice and black beans, but regardless of that, the main entree was great. Check out my pic of the Steak Fajita Platter. It was ordered by a member of my party. He absolutely loved his order. The customer service here was superb! I mean exceptional! Our waitress was pleasant when chatting with us and taking our orders. Between the service and relaxed environment of the restaurant, the ambiance here was a home run. Taco Love is one of my new favorite spots when I am in the area.
I really like the food, Service, and gotta be on some of this place. Everything was great. I would definitely come back. Everything was super flavorful and I really had a good time.
I was so looking forward to this meal. Rats. It was dreadful. The chili rellenos is sitting in a puddle of water. No flavor. The chorizo enchilada is so dry the filling so over cooked and salty it is inedible. The shrimp taco wasn't inedible just not tasty. Nothing tasted like Mexican food. $52.00 for dreadful food. And styrofoam. Oh gosh.
Very cute spot, it's a shame the food wasn't good. I'm going to choose to believe we made the mistake of ordering the worst thing(s) on the menu. Guacamole: 4/10 suspiciously creamy? Flavor missing? Fish Tacos: 4/10 the fish was cooked well but again the flavor was missing - it was only bearable with heavy red/green sauce. I ordered an extra topping of fajita veggies that were also flavorless? Their drinks look quite delicious so maybe that's their draw???
Ive had mixed feelings about TL although gave it another try yesterday since my co-worker wanted something out of the ordinary. TL delivered with the Shrimpoltle Burrito and I on the other hand got the Enchilada with shrimp. Both good meals! Service was so/so and I noticed a change from the 3 sample salsa bottles with the offering to now a cup of traditional. Still good.
Every time I come here it's outstanding! Food is delicious, staff is friendly! Decorations are adorable. This is always a 5-star spot for us, no matter what we get to eat and drink!
This place is always busy however the wait time for a table of two on a Friday night was quick. It took about 20-30 minutes to get seated. I wish you could place a reservation so that is my con. The vibe and decor of the place is nice. It is very loud but the place is clean and even had fresh flowers at each table. For the food, I'd say going on Taco Tuesday for the deals would be worth it! Tacos were delicious and flavorful. The pina colada was sweet and refreshing however, I am a light weight and it did not even get me tipsy.
My wife & I visited this cute spot off of a recommendation from my cousin. It was nice, clean, friendly & an overall good time. We sat at the bar & enjoyed drinks & nachos. We also ordered traditional tacos which is my wife's favorite. Believe it or not, it's not easy to find authentic traditional tacos. They were delicious. Fresh ingredients & authentic. The variety of tequila was impressive & the bar tenders were awesome! The other guests were pretty nice as well. I like a diverse establishment & they seem to welcome all!! They are true mixologists who clearly enjoy their work. We plan to revisit again very soon.
Service was good Ambiance was nice Food is sub par. Salsa tastes like spaghetti sauce and the queso tastes like melted American cheese. I got 3 soft tacos and the meat was fair. I've had way better.

Went here for cinco de mayo and was not disappointed!! It was busy but we were able to be seated immediately (party of 4) the server was cool. He was dressed up for the holiday. They also came around and gave out free shots for cinco de mayo! I had birria sliders, chicken tacos, and a blackberry patron margarita. It was a great experience and I can't wait to go back! read more
The food was just ok. Very heavy portions for my fajita. that was definitely meant for two or three. my husband had a burrito that he said was just mid but he also only got veggies & benas because he's vegetarian. the street corn is not pictured but it way to tangy for our liking. the service was friendly & quick. beautiful ambiance & establishment. would go back for drinks & plain à la carte tacos. read more

The first time eating here and I have to say that it was delicious. The food was good. We had the crab fries with aioli sauce and it was delicious! The portion was big enough for a meal. My husband had the Lamargarita, a hibiscus margarita which I didn't think was very tasteful but he liked it. I had a mango flavored cocktail that was just OK. The service was excellent. We were greeted immediately and sat in a booth per our request. The waiter came over within a few minutes. We placed the drink orders, which we got the alcoholic drinks first and the diet soda much later. They do automatically add 18% gratuity to the bill however you can have it removed if you feel your service or food was not acceptable. I was not asked if I wanted a refill of my soda but I was asked if I wanted another alcoholic beverage. Same for my husband. The place is in a little strip mall and I wasn't sure what to expect. The tables are wooden and decorated with a painted vase and real flowers. The walls were decorated with a painted mural. By the look you would think it was a mid level price place but as I looked at the menu I quickly noticed it was not. It's on the pricey side in my opinion for what we received. The appetizer was $28 for the fries. I ordered the battered shrimp and coleslaw with aioli tacos (soft). I have to say I was disappointed when they arrived. There were 3 shrimp in each one and the "coleslaw " was just a little bit of purple cabbage! I expected more than just shredded cabbage and i mean a few pieces not a handful. The aioli was delicious. I ate the shrimp and left the shells on the plate. I have to say that I gave them a 4/5 being generous. The service was great, my husband said his food was great but I was very disappointed with the food I received especially for the price $19 for the 3 tacos I ordered. No sides were with it. read more

I dined at this restaurant with my daughter and really enjoyed the layout of the restaurant, my meal and margarita. Initially there was a mixup with our meals being given to another table but everything worked out and we were given complimentary shots. Kudos to the great customer service. I will be returning. read more

WE HAD A TIME LAST NIGHT! Thank you, Taco Love. We celebrated my husband's birthday. The service was terrific. The whole staff took care of our party. They made sure we had everything we needed. Shout out to one of the best bartenders, Danny. He made sure we were taken care of and made excellent drinks. Carlos, our waiter, was mindful of all our needs. The manager, Gilliam, checked on us periodically to ensure all was well. THE FOOD IS A TEN TEN TEN!! This place has authentic Mexican cuisine. I love the Birra and shrimp tacos. The jalapeno margarita is tasty. I tried the Strawberry Lemonade cocktail. It was delicious. My husband loves the veggie chimichanga with extra heat . Everyone else had different items off the menu. According to them, they were satisfied. As long as this staff is around and the quality of service and food is there, you have a customer over here. read more
Went here to celebrate my birthday with my mom - who has repeatedly claimed that she doesn't like Mexican food, but by the end of this meal told me to put Taco Love Grill on my list of restaurants to revisit because she enjoyed her meal so much. I found her comment pretty satisfying since I knew exactly what she was going to order, days in advance, while I was overlooking the menu. The dance music is loud. You should maybe be warned of that. And they don't have ginger ale, even though they have a bar. Those are really my only two concerns. There was a small child endlessly kicking the hell out of the booth he was sitting in behind us, but kids are gonna kid. For our appetizers we had Choriqueso (Chorizo & melted monterrey jack) with chips (I really wanna mix our leftovers with some scrambled eggs) and carnitas nachos (Served with black beans, melted cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato & jalapeños). I messed up and forgot to say no lettuce. My boyfriend will eat a salad, but there better not be lettuce on his sandwiches or whatever else. He did still eat some of the nachos though. He couldn't resist the huge pieces of pork. And I got a small dish of guacamole because I love it, and I recently discovered that my mom loves avocado. For entrees my boyfriend and I had the birria tacos (3 BIRRIA Tacos: Beef stew meat and melted Monterrey Jack cheese served on corn tortillas smothered on birria juice then toasted on the griddle. Served with a side of birria juice and cilantro and onions on the side). This is why we went to Taco Love Grill. We'd never had birria tacos before and felt deficient. Would recommend. They may be my boyfriend's new favorite thing. My mom had the Shrimp Stuffed Avocado (Whole avocado stuffed with grilled shrimp & our special mojo sauce). The avocado was huge and the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned. She loved every bite of it. Take that, Mrs 'I don't like Mexican food'! It was a really great meal. I can imagine ordering all the same items again in the future, but the menu is so enticing I will probably try something different next time. Quality spot. read more

Taco love is by far one of the best Mexican places ever! It's so authentic and cultural. Also have I mentioned how appealing the servers are? Omg! Oh and they always give free shots when celebrating any special occasion or maybe I'm just a regular, I don't know. Honestly I don't even know how to pronounce what I'm ordering, they kinda just surprise me and I'm always happy. The drinks especially are pefecto! You might think that I'm intoxicated while writing, and I would have to agree, but I love taco love and the staff and I appreciate all that they do for the community. I highly recommend coming here for a good time, food, and drinks! read more

TLDR: Fantastic Mexican food. One of the few places in the Baltimore area that serves noteworthy birria. Immensely popular restaurant, so there can be a wait on occasion, but well worth it. Vibe: 4/5. Located in a strip mall, they occupy a fairly large space with plenty of parking. Taco Love offers bar seating at their huge wrap around bar as well as both indoor and outdoor tables. Decor is that of your standard Mexican restaurant with the added flare of wall murals in the bar area. Service: 4/5. The restaurant always seems busy, which isn't exactly a bad thing. On our last trip we sat in the bar area at a high top table adjacent to the bar, but we had a regular server. He was juggling a few other parties during our meal, so service sometimes lagged (ie. water cups and paying the bill) but was never too inconveniencing. Most importantly, food and drinks came out in a timely manner as well as being prompt in taking our initial order. Food: 5/5. We specifically came here for the birria tacos and were not disappointed. To our surprise, we found out that they offered birria quesadillas as well, so we ordered both the tacos and a quesadilla. Taco Love's birria beef is super savory and tender, braised to perfection. The consommé is packed full of flavor, yet not greasy/fatty as one may think upon first glance. Out of the 2, the quesadilla edged out a win over the tacos. The combo of melted cheese intertwined with birria beef, griddled to perfection in a soft tortilla worked wonders on our taste buds. Not saying the tacos weren't tasty, but the execution of the quesadilla was next level and honestly, the quesadilla is more user intuitive when dipping into consommé. read more

Great tacos! The birria tacos were well flavored and the consumme was also. The chicken tacos were good but didn't have enough chicken in my opinion. The tequila flight was well priced and came with a Bloody Mary shot alongside the three shots of patron. read more
