Spectacularly fresh food! This place saved me when I was at a convention recently and couldn't leave my booth. I ordered out and ate my meals in. The first day, I had a taco salad that was spectacular featuring moist and delicious grilled chicken. Second day I had the burrito bowl with pork. I am new to the area and while searching for a quick meal near my dear Sephora, I spotted this place. I went inside and there were no other patrons present. Since it was my first time there, I took time to review the menu on the wall behind the counter. While doing so, a hispanic girl walks and stands behind the register-never speaking or acknowledging me. Shortly thereafter a white couple enters and stands behind me but towards my left. They too were unsure of what to order and they stared at the menu. The worker girl then shifted her entire body to face the couple. Seconds later, I had decided on my order and was ready, but the worker girl had her back shone to me/sideways as her attention was solely on the couple. As I stood staring directly at worker girl, even making eye contact, she said nothing. Moments later, the couple looks down from the menu, same as I and anyone does when they are ready to order. The worker girl looks directly at the couple and says "may I help you" -I stood flabbergasted at the blatant ignorance of this worker girl. It was so apparent that the couple felt bad for me and rebuttals "she was here first". Even after that, the worker girl still never acknowledged me and just smiled at the couple. Being that the couple was polite and not the ones displaying racism, I told them to go ahead and order since the worker girl didn't care for my money and even still, the girl never looked my way. The couple was red in the face and appeared uncomfortable on my behalf. I ended up leaving after the worker girl began taking their orders, as I refuse to patron any business who feels the color of a persons skin determines the service rendered and the value of their money. Although I cant speak to the food, I can speak to the service and I would NEVER advise anyone, white, green, black, brown, purple to frequent this place, as they do not value all customers. Racism and favoritism should be discussed by their management and then incorporated into training because the current climate we live in, we have to protect and respect one another! There is a lot of hyperbolic riffing in Yelp reviews (certainly including my own) about how burritos are the size of one's entire forearm, but this burrito was literally the size of my entire forearm. I got it with fish, and I liked the flavor of everything in it, but the texture was pretty one-note and mushy. Luckily that was easily made up for by any one of their entire bar of salsas (pretending something is mushy because you dipped it in salsa is better than something just being mushy straight out of the burrito). Good, not-too-sweet mango agua fresca, spectacular thick-cut tortilla chips, and a tasty but again weirdly textured (wrinkled and congealed in this case) queso dip, rounded out the meal. read more

This place has some of the best tacos I've had in Baltimore, and I've tried a lot of places. The menu is fairly small, but I think it lets them focus on making the food really good. The grilled steak tacos were simple, but cooked perfectly, and the refried beans were super creamy. And they have a salsa & toppings bar! There are about a dozen different options to choose from, not just salsa, but also things like jalapeños and roasted peppers, too. The space is very open and airy, with mostly high top tables inside. The front wall has garage door windows that fully open to the sidewalk, so you can enjoy the weather without being in the sun. There is also outdoor seating at picnic tables that have been walled off from the street, which were fun to sit at. This is my new favorite taco place downtown. Highly recommend. read more

The prices were of course higher ($1-2 dollars per item) because than what saw online because 2022. We went with the grilled skirt steak burrito enchilada style, chicken taquitos, and roasted pork tacos. The burrito was the highlight being the most flavorful and the portion was gargantuan. The pork tacos were next. They were seasoned well but the meat was drier than I'd like. The taquitos were the most disappointing being both bland and dry. They were comparable to frozen supermarket convenience food. All in all, I'd rate the experience a B-. I feel like this is a place where you find gems through trial and error. Taco Fiesta is a middle-of-the-road Mexican restaurant in Harbor East, Baltimore. I have been to taco fiesta plenty of times before, but visited recently with my partner for dinner. In times before I've tried the taco platters, shrimp and chicken. This time, he and I shared two margaritas and two large chicken taco salads. Unfortunately, while the salad tasted fresh, there was very little chicken in it (mostly beans, lettuce and rice). The margarita is solid, I would get it again but it's not the best I've ever had. Service is pretty good, however the ambiance is discombobulated- the restaurant works best as a bar and takeout establishment. I ordered pickup on 06/20/23. 2 Al Pastor tacos, and chips and guac. The tacos were a little on the small side, but they were great. The chips were not your typical tortilla chip - they seemed fried or baked, and had a good salt coating. They went well with the guac, but I don't think I would have enjoyed them plain. The guac was pretty standard. Overall, the meal was pretty good. I wish that either the portions were larger, OR that more meal options would come with sides. They have combos that come with beans and rice, but it didn't look like you could do that with the Al Pastor tacos. This place is definitely "mexican-style" rather than an american-style establishment. It's cilantro and onion on everything, rather than the Americanized tomato, lettuce, cheese.
