The experience rating is a 0.5. We just left CAVA and I'm disappointed at the service I received poor service. I gave my order: what I wanted in my bowl as far as the base, dips and main topping and then the remaining final stage before sauce which are the veggie toppings, I asked for what I wanted which was a few different veggies and the employee was rude and hesitant. I asked for cucumbers and she looked at me and said "what, you want more??" as if I wasn't allowed to ask. I continued to order and she became very agitated and then she said "that's enough!". I actually continued to order because first of all I'm paying for the order so I don't know what her issue was but I didn't approve of the employees rude behavior. Customers should expect a positive experience and the employees should be nothing less than helpful. This is actually my third time having this experience with this particular employee but tonight I was compelled to submit my unfavorable experience here on Yelp. Could this employee receive additional training so that they learn that all customer must be treated with respect and to help them. We entered the restaurant at about 8:20 PM. I was really looking forward to my dinner tonight, but unfortunately, this order was a complete letdown. I placed an order for the Steak and Harissa Bowl (half chicken, half steak) and the Greek Chicken Pita. I also ordered one Hot Harissa Pita Chips and two regular Pita Chips. Not only were all of my pita chips missing, but when I opened my bowl, I found just one slither of chicken -- nowhere near the half chicken/half steak combination I paid for. To make matters worse, I tried calling the location multiple times to address the issue, only to be met with a fast busy signal every time -- no answer at all. I submitted a ticket online, but who knows when (or if) I'll hear back. Very disappointed in the service and quality control at this location. Met my cuzn here for lunch. It was really good. I got a salad bowl. Make sure you let them know if you don't want grains in the beginning otherwise they'll be stingy on the salad. The food is great but the staffing in this particular location leaves a lot to be desired. Both times that I've stopped in the line was wrapped around, the staff seemed miserable, and there was disorganization with fulfilling online and in person orders. My first visit I waited in line for 20 minutes only to get to the counter and wait another 10 while they frantically tried to catch up on online orders which were apparently running well over 30 minutes behind. I figured it was just a bad day so the next time I was in the area I decided to ordered online. It was lunchtime so I was able to bypass the long line and grab my order from the pickup rack but after a quick bag check I realized some of my items were missing. I politely waited at the counter with zero acknowledgment until I actively flagged down the cashier whose blank annoyed stare confirmed that they had in fact seen me but couldn't have care less about seeing what I wanted or needed. Nonetheless I got the rest of my order but the whole exchange left me feeling like a nuisance, when I simply wanted what I paid for. It will be a long time before I can see myself going back but I hope in the meantime someone sees all the feedback and puts a solid plan in action to address the service piece of the experience. read more

Bowls are $10.75 so it is pricey, but I liked that I got two proteins with no extra charge. Customer service was okay, no one seemed particularly friendly or excited which I get, working in food can be tough. Very clean and nice place to sit in and eat. Plenty of nearby parking. Tons of options for toppings, if your vegan or vegetarian. I like that they have hummus and so many sauces/dips. Very similar to chipotle and Qdoba honestly, but healthy and with a Mediterranean feel. They make their own juices and lemonade, but I wasn't a big fan of the drinks. So much yumminess in one little place! This establishment is nestled at Foundry Row in Owings Mills. They have plenty of safe parking, clean restaurant space and knowledgeable employees. I visited twice in 5 days and ordered the same thing. That's how yum they are. Even bought hubby back w me and he was super satisfied. I ordered a Build Your Own Bowl w Saffron Rice, Grilled Chicken, Mixed Veggies (my fav), a hot paste, cucumbers, corn and pita chips. Perfection !! They have beverages beverages here! So many to choose from but my fav has been the Lemonade. This place is awesome w indoor and covered outdoor seating options. They even offer curbside. CAVA is always the move when you want to enjoy a healthy(ish) bowl of flavor explosion but you don't want Qdoba or Chipotle. I was hype when Cava opened nearby. I've had a few mishaps with delivery and slow orders but the flavor always makes up for it. It's worth the wait. Custom bowls for me always. I highly recommend the half chicken veggie. So glad you're here, CAVA. I enjoyed my first visit at this spot, formerly occupied by another Mediterranean place Zoe's Kitchen. I prefer CAVA, as you can customize your meal, and the flavors are better. The staff/servers were sweet and patient with my mature aged mother who had never been to CAVA and was slow navigating the options. For those who aren't familiar, the concept is like Chipotle where you watch as they prepare your entree to your liking. But this is Mediterranean food. You can get a bowl with just salad greens or greens +grains. There are meat options, roasted vegs, and plenty of toppings to add. Or get your food in a pita. If you like spicy, try some Harissa spread in your bowl. My mom liked the roasted eggplant spread. There is a small "patio" for outdoor eating, though the flaps were down when we went. The food is like lukewarm room. But I guess that's how it should be when it's salad based? But say if I didn't get a salad base, just rice. Nothing is piping hot. This place stays busy. Online orders are a plus so that you can grab your food and go. I feel like sometimes waiting in line and having it made to order you get better portions of food. It's my first time ordering Cava and I hope the mistake I made was ordering it through DoorDash because this isn't it. Ordered a greens and grains bowl with red pepper hummus and the crazy feta x 2. I only received the red pepper hummus with sprinkles of feta cheese though out the salad. I had to visit the website to confirm that there is an actual crazy feta hummus. I ordered cucumbers and cabbage slaw and they were not in the bowl. Also, I did not receive the famous pita chips that the girls talk about on TikTok. I'm obsessed with Cava and my boyfriend literally had to drive 30 minutes to Cava in Columbia just so i can fulfill my craving, now it is only a 10 minute drive. We visited a few weeks ago and the service was amazing, their portion sizes were great! I typically order the same thing each time... half splendid greens and brown rice, harissa, chicken, cucumber and tomatoes, feta, cabbage slaw, and Greek vinaigrette and it's always *chefs kiss* . I normally love Cava, I had it all the time when I lived in Arlington, and have never had a problem ordering through the app before. The food was up to the usual quality, but they completely forgot to put any protein on my salad for my pickup order. I live quite a ways away and didn't discover that I was missing my chicken until I was home. It wasn't busy when I came in, so I don't think they were overwhelmed by a rush. They were just careless. Of course the majority of the price is from the protein, so it would be great if their was a way to easily have them refund the order, but this appears difficult to do. read more

The order was supposed to be ready at 7:15pm and they hadn't even started the order. My wife ordered blackberry, which was on their location menu and was told it was not offered at that location. After waiting 20 minutes and getting home I discovered that half of the $40 was not in the bag. There was no hummus, no chips, no blondie, no lamb meat in my wrap. This is the EXACT same service that was provided when it was Zoe's Kitchen and they went out of business. Look for this Cava location to go out of business as well. The only positive was the food that you did get tasted good. However, their desserts look like they should be served on an airplane. The brownie looks more like a Triscuit square than a brownie. No thickness and looks more like a cracker. Avoid this place and go to Zoe's Kitchen in Timonium or another area for fast casual Mediterranean food. This is like a Mediterranean Chipotle that with a stronger representation of veggies with their rightrice, super greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. The food has always been fresh and flavorful but I was blown away at lunch when my bow,l which has averaged $11-$12 since Cava opened, rung up at $17.
