Tikka Masala Pizza No taste no flavor.
    Pea A.

I would give 0 stars. Absolutely disappointed going to eat here today. We did our usual order of Tikka Masala Pizza and Spicy Pie, and when we opened the boxes, I was in utter shock. It literally looked like frozen pizza, maybe worse. My family would go here often. The last time we went was January 2025 and it was delicious. we just went today (December 2025) and complete 360 in the food and quality, just horrible. I'm not sure if management changed or their previous chef left, but something is not adding up. Never going back. Also, look at my pictures and compare it to what is on their menu. It was like a "what I thought I ordered vs. what I got situation."

The dough is good - soft and chewy with a little bit of a bite. The Tikka chicken topping was tasty, but I didn't care for the sauce or the cheese. I had asked for extra sauce on the side which they couldn't accommodate (reason not given). I wanted to try the sauce separately and dip my crust in for later. The spot is located in a short strip off of Baltimore National Pike. Inside was clean and bare. There were one or two tables to sit. In conclusion, the flavor and components are there but I wasn't enthusiastic by the combination. It made me want chicken Tikka masala and a pizza on its own.

If you want good fast service, a nice quiet ambiance, and especially delicious middle eastern twist on traditional American cuisine you eat here, the food here is phenomenal and I honestly cannot recommend it enough, I'm surprised this location isn't packed throughout the week.

As a lover of spicy heat food & being all about toppings, toppings, toppings, Spicy Pie was a drool-worthy discovery (found via an Instagram recommendation)- very hard to decide what to order, between all their various Indian pizzas, sandwich options, & side dishes- I couldn't just choose one option- I had to wait until a night when friends could join & would could order a bulk variety, trying a lot! We chose chicken tikka masala, spicy pie w.paneer added, chicken biriyani, & side of wings masala Overall, we expected everything to be a lot spicier- maybe our hot sauce loving palates just have too high of a spice level bar, but was fairly disappointed everything was on the mild to no heat side- All pies had a delicious fluffy, well charred crust- the pizzas were 'wet' which means don't expect a crunch; instead they had what's called 'tip sag' where the toppings weighed down the pie- but I enjoyed doughy chewiness the sauciness created. Chicken Tikka Masala- could have used more chicken- the sauce was creamier, with a very mild back-end spice- had more of a tomato sauce flavor- our 2yr old easily downed 2 slices with us, managing the spice Spicy Pie- a very robust flavor combination from the quality roasted peppers- I enjoyed the combination, especially with the hearty paneer added, creating a heftiness to each slice- but wouldn't label it an "Indian pie"-more traditional roasted pepper pie Chicken Biriyani-could also have used more chicken- while the sauce was deliciously creamy, with a bold flavor profile, the pie was really just dough & sauce- Wings Masala (5count)- hearty, juicy wings- heavily breaded, smothered in ample sauce- had a great taste, but again wasn't spicy, just creamy (2yr old downed 1 wing, managing the spice) Overall, pro: I enjoyed the creamy bold Indian flavors & the wet doughy chewy crusts, but felt the pies could use more toppings & felt let down they weren't as spicy as the expected hype- Glad to try them out for ourselves. Was a fun new dining experience, but wouldn't be a regular customer, as I would rather just order traditional high spice level Indian food & use leftovers to re-create the pies at home with dishes w.more heat. Also while the sizes of the pies were hearty for their price, the lack of toppings left a bit more to be desired-

3.5 Stars This place is different, coming in hot with an Indian take on your local pizzeria! Believe the name, there is a kick to everything! My wife and I got our children a pepperoni pizza to be safe, and they liked it, but said it was spicy. Their masala spice mix is blended into the tomato sauce. I loved it, but if you're someone sensisitve to spice, this might not be the place for you. Even the fries (regular masala fries and the garlic-parmesan fries) have this spice blend all over. The chicken tikka masala pizza was a safe place to start and I rather enjoyed it. We wanted to try the palak paneer pizza but we had to cut ourselves off. I'll try that next time. Out of curiosity, we also got the buffalo chicken sandwich which had a delightfully vinegary sauce all over it. Would get again. The inside is small and unassuming. There are tables for dining in, but I ordered takeout and the one guy at the counter was ready when I came to pickup. Very business-forward. I think I'll try them again even if only to try some of the unique offerings to be found here.

    Chicken tikka pizza. Delicious! :)

This place is amazing! Today, I went there and got a paneer pizza and chicken wings. Everything was very delicious! I love how they take very familiar concepts and put in unique taste to it. The paneer pizza has curry spinach, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, paneer, mozzarella and parmigiana cheese; all on top of their perfect, fresh Naan crust. The chicken wings were crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside, and has a great curry flavor. I ordered online, and the food was ready when I went to pick it up. This is a great place overall. I'll be back soon, to try their other items, I heard their burger sandwiches are delicious too.

11 stars out of 5. Absolutely blown away. Ya gotta be kidding me, INDIAN PIZZA baby!! Gonna work hard to to curse on this one. Service was lovely and helpful, the person at the desk took our order and brought out our 2 pies nice n quick. Very relaxed atmosphere in there, and only about 6 months old! We ordered the palak paneer pizza and the biryani veggie mix pizza. THE HOTDAMN CRUST is sensational! Whether or NAAT it's naan, it's delicious, fluffy and so well baked. The flavor of each pie was identical to the classic Indian dishes. Can't get over it, can't get enough of it. I wish I was spending the rest of my day swimming in a pool of all the flavors of these pizzas. Unsung Maryland hero restaurant. Here's to many more Indian pizzas.

A little disappointed. Everything seemed of a respectable quality (above average compared to your regular pizza place), minus the weird cheap tasting parmesean crumbles on the crust. But it just didn't quite hit the spot for me. Wasn't the flavor bomb I was hoping. Would rather have regular pizza or regular Indian food. I think the tikka sauce, having dairy in it, muted the acidity of the tomato, which is a necessary counterbalance on pizza to the fatty cheese. Was just hoping for a big pop of flavor with every bite, instead it was just good enough to keep me satisfied.

Down in Cantonsville visiting friends and almost immediately we debated pizza styles -- now that I have 8 years of Jersey under my belt. This concept is a delightful naan pie with the most amazing flavor combinations. Tucked in a strip mall opposite the Aldi's, lots of parking and bright signage shows you the way. Bright lights and few simple tables and chairs leave room for a huge line of customers ordering to go or picking up. If vote-by-presence is an endorsement, the number of Indian customers here says THIS IS IT. so many options! All veg for ours didn't matter. I did t miss my pepperoni (I know, right??) Ours were the spicy pie and palak paneer pie. Spicy was a bit moist because the caned jalapeño slices hadn't been dried, but the flavor was awesome. The palak paneer was also a huge win with a very nice spice level that left me bristling and ears burning! Great choice!

I've been wanting to try their chicken tikka marsala pizza and I'm happy with it. it's not too think of a crust and has great flavor. I also ended up order the garlic parm fries and chicken marsala sandwich as well. all were yummy

    Chicken Biryani Pizza
    Phoenix N.

Got the Chicken Biryani Pizza, garlic cheese bread, and masala chicken sandwich with fries as takeout. Inside is nice and clean but the paper plates they had out were unfortunate since it really brings down what would normally be a really nice place. The service was fast and very nice. Chicken Biryani Pizza - This was very disappointing. The chicken was dry and the sauce tasted like the biryani masala that comes from a jar. The pizza dough was good but it was undercooked. Garlic Cheese Bread - This was excellent. Very cheesy and you can taste the garlic. The dough is soft and chewy. Best of all is the smell. Masala Chicken Sandwich - This is a top tier chicken sandwich. It was surprisingly good. The chicken was thick, juicy, and crispy even after sitting for while. The sauce is flavorful and there was just enough of it so that the sandwich didn't become soggy. The bun was good and not too thick. Easily one of the better chicken sandwiches in MD. Masala Fries - Fries are flavorful thanks to the masala seasoning (it's just chaat masala). Seems like they were only fried once since they got soggy after a short while. They could try frying them twice to get the extra crispy. Good fries overall. Verdict - It seems that everything except the pizzas are good. I've also had the burger before and that was solid. I'd imagine the classic and margarita pizzas would be better but I haven't tried them. So far, I recommend getting the sandwiches and cheese bread. 3.5/5 (Good)

We started with Potato Cakes with crème fraiche, they had a nice crunch, a tender interior with subtle flavor. I'd never had them with crème fraiche, it was a nice change and the mild tanginess with the creamy texture complimented the Cakes well. I ordered the Main Street with Weisswurst, a Pretzel and plain Spätzle. It was my first, the veal's flavor is understated in comparison to Bratwurst or Knackwurst (not on the menu) and was a pleasant changeup. The Pretzel was little disappointing while it was a decent pretzel, it lacked the crisp crust and distinctive flavor I expected. As evident by the rating while worthy of note, it's not a game changer. I'd ordered a large plain Spätzle, which was two regular portions, but was served Spätzle with cheese I tasted it and it wasn't my thing, which is not to say it was bad, I just don't care for cheese in dishes like that. Our server swapped one cheese for plain (my wife had happily stolen the other) and enjoyed the replacement. I found that the grilled onions gave it a nice homey flavor. Mistakes happen and it turned out to be a win in the end. We shared a couple of desserts and by far, my favorite was the Black Forest Cupcake. It's on the large side, they might be able to cut on the weighty crème icing, the chocolate cake and soaked cherries were a delight. The cherries are a significant improvement over the Marchinos I had before, if only there were more. Rathskeller can get a little loud, as it is a relatively small space with hard surfaces so voices reflect, it wasn't packed this afternoon, so it wasn't an issue. Went to Black Flag Social House today for lunch with work friends. My first time visiting. We had a…read morechoice to sit outside or inside so we chose to sit outside. It was a nice day and the patio dining area was surrounded by trees. There were patio umbrellas so the sun didn't feel so hot. Delaney was our server and was very friendly and helpful. She helped me pick out a beer. Everything in the menu sounded so good so I chose the pepperoni pizza. I liked that it was thin crust but probably I should have ordered the margarita pizza instead. The pizza was greasy due to the pepperoni. I was so hungry and the pepperoni description sounded good on the menu. I liked the ambience and the food. There are more food and beer items on the menu that I would like to try so I will definitely be back for another visit.

What a disappointing first impression. I honestly haven't experienced such poor service in a long…read moretime. From start to finish, our group felt unwelcome and unaccommodated for. We must have waited nearly 45min before anyone took our order, after waiting close to a half an hour at a dirty table before anyone came to bus/clean it. Our questions about whether we should order at the bar or not were met with annoyance and a dismissive attitude. Once we finally got food, the burgers and wings were enjoyed overall. As the vegetarian at the table, I was disappointed by the lack of options. I settled for the "Veg" board, which was fine but felt more like a "girl dinner" than anything else with an odd assortment of components. The absence of any cheese or other spreads beyond mustard and a jam on the board was also notable. Sadly, ever since the switch in head brewer, the quality of brews at Black Flag has continued to go downhill. The IPAs are missing the mark, while the rest of the tap list is consistently unremarkable. Unfortunately, not sure we'll be racing to come back.

This was a good experience, large portions, and very flavorful…read more For appetizers, we ordered butterfly shrimp, wings and burnt ends platter. Shrimp were good no wow factor, wings were good just plain but would have been better if they had a sauce and the burnt ends had more of a smoked bbq flavor which was different than usual but very tender and tasty. It was served with mixed vegetables and coleslaw. Veggies were ok and seasoned and coleslaw was to be desired. Not burnt ends is an entree on the menu. For entrees: crispy chicken sandwich with fries and chicken Mishkaki. Can I say, wow the portion required stretch pants! The sandwich; meat to bun is 20% more chicken than bread. It was seasoned and fried to perfection. The fries are in house cut and seasoned well too. The chicken Mishkaki is dish never tried before but reminds you of Nazan Halal's chicken with more of a rich tomato stew flavor with peppers, onions. It was about 8 to 10 skinless thin thighs seasoned and fork tenderness served in its own plate, then another plate with rice and the fixings. Think of a fajita sizzling plate and side plate of the fixings, same as this dish. I would definitely visit again! My pictures didn't save but here are few from other viewers which is identical to what was served.

Great service, wonderful owners/managers but unfortunately the food just wasn't good.read more
