There was a lack of seasoning and the chicken for both dishes were tab bit on the dry side. The falafel was dry and no seasoning. So, my husband and I decided to support this business because they are a small Muslim owned restaurant that looks empty every time we come in. This time I clearly asked for 'bone in chicken'. He offered kofta combo and I again clearly asked for bone in with the combo. We paid extra for the substitution of the Pumpkin and spinach instead of rice so would surely have paid extra if asked. We were served boneless and by the time we realized it we had eaten ONLY a spoonful of rice and a few pieces of naan. We were told we had to pay for the bone in chicken since we didn't notice before we took some of the rice and bread. Wa 'alahi It was clearly his mistake. Even the other guy offered to replace it but the one arguing said no, only if we pay. MashaAllah. My reviews are always honest and I tend to give a better rating for small businesses. I've been here a few times. Food is usually very good. The beef nihari is my go to dish. It's packed with flavorful cuts of beef in a rich thick spicy broth. So much so that I often get a second (garlic) naan to soak it all up. Well not today. There were literal 3 small cuts of beef in my bowl. Broth was runny and lacked that spicy finish. Now I will say that the beef hihari isn't usually available on Sundays but they said it was in stock but I guess this is what was left from the weekend. We enjoyed PK's Chicken Biryani for years (since 2018) and it has been tasty all the time. But we noticed that the Biryani's tatse changed last month. Then we ordered 4 Chicken Biryani yesterday along with 2 Chicken Kabob and Biryani was bad. It was just yellow colored rice, there was NO flavor in it. The Chicken came with Biryani also has NO taste at all just a broil chicken. The white sauce with yogurt also was so thin as if it was water. It used to be thicker than that. They used to give white sauce and green (chilli) sauce and green sauce was missing. Three stars I gave was for Chicken Malai kabob which is still as tatsty as before. I visit this spot at least once a month...sometimes more and I almost always order the goat karahi. It comes with salad and naan. I love the flavors in the dish. I took one star off because sometimes I get way too many bones. Every once in awhile I'll eat in but most of the time, I order it to go. The goat karahi is an order for 2 for about $30. I always order it just for me so I can have plenty of leftovers. The samosas are delicious too! You need to check this spot out! read more

Still one of the most consistent restaurants in the area. I have been coming here for the last 3 years and its amazing every time. Its one of the few places my whole family can agree on and that's big for me. The staff is always friendly, and I dont think they've ever messed up an order (not even through door dash). Their butter chicken is still by far the best in the area. Goat karahi is still the stuff of legends. The lamb chops are super flavorful, and so are the kabobs. So I had to come back to update my review. Since COVID-19 hit the US I have been ordering here once a week to keep some type of normalcy in my life. I absolutely love the Goat Karahi special, you can also order this dish with chicken but the goat is amazing! The food is halal/kosher for anyone on a restricted diet. I order off the GrubHub app and pick up, that way I can pay for my food ahead of time. I usually pick up because the GrubHub app is the worst, drivers always take too long. This special comes with two pieces of naan, salad and mint sauce, asks for extra sauce, it is so good. This dish can feed about 2 people. It troubles my spirit to write this review after being a faithful customer for years, but I would be doing a disservice to other Yelpers to not report the gross disrespect from the employee and manager at Prince Kabob. In short, I placed a $142 dinner order, $163 with tip and was excited to go home with my carry out. Upon arriving home 25 mins later I discovered my 2 orders of samosas were not in the bags ($8/each). I called and politely notified the employee of the missing items, expecting him to simply credit my debit card. Instead he all but called me a liar and insisted the items were 'in the bags.' I'm not going to labor the extensive dialogue over $16 samosas but it was truly unbelievable. I explained that I am a regular customer and have no reason to argue over 2 orders or samosas when my family spends hundreds of dollars bi-monthly at this establishment. Talk about RIDICULOUS!!! He said he needed to call me back and this time it's the manager on the phone, telling me to 'check my car' because they 'gave me my food' and he wanted me to describe each container, in which I obliged him, only to be told again I must have misplaced them on my counter or my car. At this point I'd had it! The 3 bags were placed on my front seat, nothing fell out of the bags!!! It's been a long time since I've felt this disrespected from a business I frequent but I will NOT be back. Any business this disrespectful doesn't deserve my money. I've given positive reviews in the past and have sent lots of business their way. Lousy customer service coupled with blatant disrespect will ruin any business in due time. read more

When I walked in the smells were awesome and the gentleman at the counter said they cooked it fresh and it would take about 20 minutes. That is about all the positive I was getting today from this spot. Strike one....The lettuce is clearly wilted and bad! Why would you put this on the plate? I get past this and try the food. I ordered a lamb kabob and chicken kabob. The flavors were lacking.....it was bland like cumin was the only flavor on the meats? Even my toddler said 'yucky mommy!' The sauce was even bland! I have been a long-time customer of this establishment and have tried different dishes, however, my standard go-to is the chicken salad, which I order along with the Mango Lassie, and a side of pumpkin. Like another review mentioned everything was totally different. The pumpkin was bland with no flavor or spice, and the chicken usually sumptuous, and flavorful was also bland and not as moist, The mango lassie tasted like it came out of a bottle, but the most disappointing was the tzatziki sauce, of which I ordered extra because it's my fav. However, this time it was watery and tasted like a mayonnaise base (!!!) versus yogurt. I was really actually offended by this. To top it off, I paid almost $10 more than I normally would. Turns out there are new owners. All I had to do was taste the food to know. However, how because there was no naan in my bag when I check in my car. I went back in to get it and was told it didn't come with it and I asked since when and was told since never. I said well that is definitely not true because I am a long-time customer and it always comes with naan automatically and I never have to ask for it. I was told I was wrong. I asked if there new management or a new owner. I did notice when I came in that the people working were different people than usual and the decor was also different. I said because if you have changed and it is no longer given with the salad, then just say that, rather than trying to make me think I am crazy. Then, someone came from the back and slipped and said the previous owner also didn't give Naan with salad. I said, ok yes. So like I said there "IS" a New Owner (while side-eyeing the guy who told me no there isn't a new owner). Anyway, me as a long-time customer and you as a new owner, maybe you should just say, sorry we no longer offer that with the salad rather than going back and forth telling me I am wrong. How do you even know, you just got here? Anyway, never going back, not because of the naan, but because the food was not what I have come to expect and I didn't enjoy it at all. The food is amazing! I visited this place when it had a different name. It had been a while since my last visit so I was surprised to see a new name when I drove up. The new owners seem super nice and welcoming. That's always a plus. Everything about my experience was great - the service and the food. We ordered the Chicken Biryani and a Chicken Kabob Platter. My chicken was moist and flavorful. It comes with rice, which has carrots and raisins, and a small side salad. The chicken biryani was also excellent. It wasn't overwhelmed with spices, which I like. On Oct 16, 2024 visited Prince Kabob. I have visited this business multiple times and enjoyed the Buttered Chicken. This time when I ordered my food and got home to find that my Buttered Chicken was White in Color and the sauce with extra white in color. There was no flavor and the sauce was very runny. I called Prince Kabob back to tell them about the food. The manager tells me they cooked the Butter Chicken late the night before which would have been on Oct. 15, 2024 and nothing was wrong with the Buttered Chicken. I explained the appearance and the taste of the Buttered Chicken. He told me to come back tomorrow and which I did on Oct. 17, 2024 and the manager wasn't in the store but his brother was and I explained that I spoke to the brother on the phone and I asked him to call him and let him know that I was at the store. I was told I could not get my money back and/or credit. you might as well say he called me a liar. I told him I would never be back and it was bad customer service. Great service and great food! The guy was soo nice that took our order. This was my first time visiting this place and having Pakistani food; after letting him know that, he helped me choose an appropriate meal that wasn't too spicy for me and my little one. My 8 year old isn't spontaneous when it comes to her meal choices but I like to take chances so I ordered the chicken and lamb combo and it was DEEEEEEEELISH! The meat was very flavorful after I added some salt lol. The rice was good and whatever that green sauce that had cilantro in it. Whew! That stuff was soooooo good! My daughter stuck with what she knows, which is nuggets and fries and she said her food was very very good lol. We also tried the rice pudding but was not a fan of it unfortunately. It was very soupy and too sweet. We only had one bite of it and threw the rest out. The restaurant dining area is very clean and well kept with cultural decor on the walls. This place is a hidden gem. Definitely a must try if you enjoy Middle Eastern Cuisines. (I, personally, LOVE it) I've lived in Crofton for over 15 years and I've ordered from this restaurant only a few times and they never disappoint. They are consistent in their portion, whether you're dining in or take out. The staff are also very friendly and their food is bursting with flavor. I had a mixed experience. Got the chicken seekh kabob lunch special at the recommendation of the server and thought it was really delicious: tender, juicy, and with a good bit of spice. It went well with the mint-cilantro yogurt sauce, as it inevitably must. But the other parts of the dish--the Kabuli pilaf and the salad--disappointed because they lacked any sort of flavor. The rice was rubbery, unseasoned; you could hardly tell that it was pilaf. The salad was iceberg lettuce/tomato; a touch of onions or cilantro would've livened things up. Look, this is a good deal at $7.99 if you want a filling meal. The meat, at least in the case of the seekh kabob, was really great. And maybe it was an off day for them. We decided to grab dinner here at the last minute. I'd heard a lot about them and wanted to try. We ordered the veggie samosas, chicken Tikka kabob platter, a lamb kebab platter and a side of chickpeas. It came with two large naan. The samosa's were very flavorful , the chickpeas were as well. My husband was especially pleased with the flavor and the tenderness of the meat. The naan was soft and pillowy, my husband actually said it melted in his mouth. The young man who waited on us was very attentive. Definitely not an upscale dining experience, but a very nice casual environment to enjoy some very flavorful food.
