I just revisited the place after seeing another review.... The service was efficient & the staff was extremely friendly. Presents like a typical carry out, but I like the concept with the little convenience area and I noticed an area in the back to play games, which I thought was nice. Honestly, I forgot to post the review when we picked up dinner here some time ago. I really needed to try them again. On our first visit we had the baby bok choy, Singapore noodles, the crispy eggplant, Kung Pao and curry puffs, I believe. This time I ordered the salt & pepper tofu (10/10), the bok choy (7/10) and the crispy eggplant (9/10). Now to be very honest these dishes would have been even better if we had eaten there, because the fried items would've retained their crispiness, but everything was still good. I've been thinking about the salt & pepper tofu. May even grab it again this week. It was just that good. I definitely recommend you try this place if ever in the area... I'll be visiting again soon.

This is a nice, bright and understated restaurant, with tasty entrees. There is space to line up to place your order, however using tech was what we chose. It was easy to place the order, choose a table and chat while food is prepared. The food was brought to our table. I ordered General Tso's 'Chicken' and it was really good: both sweet and spicy. I also ordered pineapple fried rice and would say that it wasn't as salty as I'm used to. Also, I would have loved more pieces of pineapple. I would recommend this place for the 'chicken' alone.

Great find! Unassuming strip mall food place with clean tables and large veggie menu. Noodles, Asian, and some great appetizers-all vegetarian. I had no clue when income In and the cashier was happy to help and make recommendations. I got a bunch of appetizers. The wonton were excellent. Filling was limited but bursting with flavor. Coconut puffs were basic with thick brown sauce that is addictive. Korean crispy beef were thick coin medallions that tasted like breaded beef. The food is unique and special. This place is worth the trip from Baltimore!!!

This food is amazing. Delicious and all vegan. Had to pace me-self because me tastebuds created the urge to get as much of it into me belly as quickly as possible. The coconut fritters were my favorite. What a fantastic treat !! We placed our order on the website and found it very user-friendly, complete with beautiful photos of the dishes. Our food was ready right on time. I didn't see the interior of Ciau Vegan House personally because my husband ran in to pick up the food while I waited in the car, but judging by the high-quality of the containers the food is in, I would expect it's a classy joint if you're dining inside. YES: ALL VEGAN

What a hidden gem! As a vegetarian, I loved this place because I had so many options with what to eat. I was overwhelmed by the options, and decided to get the kung pao tofu. I appreciated that they came out quickly with my food! I was shocked with how perfectly crispy the tofu was, it made me keep munching on it. There was plenty of table space. As we walked out, I saw the giant fish tank which was so cute. Will come back again!

Went back; enjoyed it just as much ; once again, we're coming back! Good food, good service for that style of restaurant. And we played uno ( supplied in restaurant ) while waiting for food ( nice touch )

Yayyyyyy for the new Vegan restaurant. The food is flavorful. I definitely enjoyed all my purchases. I noticed they have a lot of healthy vegan snacks right at checkout. I pre ordered my food online. I didn't get a chance to dine in. They do have dining in options. I definitely plan on returning to purchase more from the menu. Everything was delicious. If you haven't already, you should check them out. I am not a vegan, but I do love vegan food. The service for my pickup was prompt. Can't wait to return.

So delicious I will definitely be coming back!

First time in this gem and I'm upset it took me soo long tor check it out. The people were so nice and helpful, the place was clean and neat. Everything was made to order and flavorful it was very good. Reasonably priced and nice proportions. I'll be coming back. I'm already planning on what my future order will be.

What a lovely hidden gem! My husband is currently doing a mostly vegan diet and found this little spot and wanted to try it. The inside is pretty simple and unassuming: you order your food at the kiosk and can take out or sit at one of the tables. We dined in. Customer service was pretty friendly. We ordered the coconut fritters and spicy wontons for apps, and both were delicious. The seaweed salad tasted as expected. For entrees, we ordered the kung pao beef and shrimp lo mein. The kung pao beef was so delicious. Idk what the "beef" was made of -- mushrooms or a tofu/soy mix of something maybe? But it was so good you didn't even really miss the real beef. The only thing that was just OK to me was the "shrimp" from the lo mein. I think I'll stick to regular seafood shrimp, ha. But the lo mein noodles were good. My Thai iced tea was also tasty. Overall, a great lunch and we left full and satisfied. We'll be back!

Small little vegan restaurant with a variety of Asian dishes made completely Vegan and no onion or garlic, which is great. The service is very nice and ordering is easy. Everything is served in to go containers but there are tables so you can eat inside. The salt and pepper tofu was fried very well and the XO Sauce Eggplant was great, although a little too sweet. I'd return one day to try a few other dishes but it's a nice healthy option to the Arundel Mills area.

Cisu is awesome! I love that they offer Asian vegan dishes, some of which I've never heard of, and some that feel close to home. Their set up is takeout style, but if you want to eat there, it's very clean and they bring your food to you. When waiting for your food, you can hear them freshly making it in the kitchen, and the food comes out piping hot. I'm not vegan, but I love trying vegan cuisine. I've only been here twice, but I have to say that their Cisu Signature Bowl is the BEST thing on the menu. The broth is so rich and flavorful; the thick noodles have a great texture, slightly chewy; the mushrooms are little flavors bombs and one of the best parts of the dish. It seems like this dish is mimicking either beef stew or taiwanese beef noodle soup, and it does a good job. The texture and taste of the imitation beef is typical of a soy based imitation meat, so it's just ok, but everything else in the dish shines. I would come here again and again for this bowl of noodle soup. I've also tried a couple other dishes: - Buddha Bowl: it's a solid noodle soup dish. The mushrooms are also really flavorful in this dish. It includes some imitation fish balls which are good. The broth is simple and doesn't have too much going on. - vegan nuggets: these were pretty good. Super crispy on the outside and has a fluffy/stringy texture on the inside. - hot and crispy eggplant: it's true to its name as it's hot and crispy. But the sauce is a little too sweet for me. The breading is fluffy and it's super thick, and the inside is soft how you would eggspect eggplant to be (ba dum tsss). If you've ever had asian fried bananas, it tastes similar to that. For me, it was a little hard to finish these because there was a lot of batter around the eggplant and the sauce was too sweet. These would be good as an appetizer, but I wouldn't be able to eat it as a whole dish. I'm excited to come back and explore more of their menu (but I'm afraid nothing can beat the signature bowl!). I wish there were more restaurants like these everywhere.

Second, the selection is huge. They pretty much have almost everything you expect in an AYCE place. Chinese hot food, Japanese sashimi, Korean BBQ, vegan salad, drinks, ice cream. They even have snow crab and lobster claws the day we were there. They also had "buddha jumping over the wall" soup - if you know what it is. One thing is that my empty plates were piling up before they were taken away, but I guess it was Saturday and they were busy. Overall the food selection was amazing. I only wish their desserts are better... I thought the little roll/balls in the frig was mochi... but no... it was something with unpleasant texture - they tasted like silicon... Other than that, I think this place is the best Asian AYCE I have tried in the US. If we are ever in Maryland and in the area we will definitely come back.

They have workers who go around and make sure the service areas are clean of food and such which i liked. It was very clean. Would i make the drive again? YES but also i heard there's an alexandria location opening this year!

The service was quite good for a buffet - staff were pleasant and worked hard. The hot and sour soup was good. Tried the chicken and broccoli - the chicken was decent and the broccoli wasn't overcooked/mushy at all. The sushi selection is not extensive, but it looked fresh and there was salmon sashimi also available. The sashimi were small cube pieces that were good. Only negative was the steak. There was a side of beef where you could cut off pieces. We each took a small piece. Both of them were very, very tough and chewy. We couldn't eat them. Too bad, because the rest of the food was good. Although the steak was inedible, the ribs were quite good. My partner said the crab was quite good - not large, but well prepared and tasty. There was a warning sign by the oysters about worms being natural to oysters and might be present in the oyster. I didn't see any, but I ate two and then later saw the sign and didn't have any more. You have a choice between AYCE or by the pound. I know last time I came I got AYCE but honestly I don't eat that much anymore, so by the pound is more cost effective for me. There also are two different prices based on whether you want BBQ + sushi with your buffet. (Sushi??? I'll stick to BBQ when going Brazilian.) I tried to sample small amounts of the dishes on the buffet and then got some picanha and another steak cut (maminha). Both BBQ cuts were very good - I liked the maminha more. (Fraldihna is my usual favorite, and it's kind of similar to the maminha.). They had a chicken with capers that was probably my favorite of the buffet dishes. The stroghanoff wasn't bad. Some of the other meat dishes on the buffet were a bit dry. I got a mystery empanada which turned out to be guava & cheese, if it had been warmed it would have been better. I love guava, but there was just a little small rectangle of guava paste in the very center; probably 80% of the empanada had no filling. Similarly, the cheese bread balls were cold and hard. Those need to be right out of the oven to be worth it. It's a shame, they probably were good when they were first made but they weren't by the time I got to them. The potato salad was ok but the balance of mayo to potato & other veg was off (too much mayo). I had some fresh fruit too.
