Came to Kokee from a TikTok food review and I was not disappointed. I live in Downtown Baltimore, but Kokee is definitely worth the drive. It's located in a shopping center in Columbia, Md. The inside is nice, there is seating available to eat in, I took my food to go. Their menu is on three screens, listing their food and Boba drinks that they have to offer. I got the 10 pc. Honey Soy Garlic wings, a side of waffle fries and a Brown Sugar Cold Brew, hold the Boba. It didn't take long to receive my order and it was nothing short of delicious. The chicken was so crispy, juicy and flavorful, I almost ate the whole thing lol. The waffle fries come seasoned and they were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. The Brown Sugar Cold brew was really good, not too sweet, really enjoyable. My total came to $26 and was worth every penny. Definitely putting on my list of go to places

I ordered the 10pc honey soy wings and a coffee milk tea with added Oreo's, and waffle fries. Ordering was seamless through post mates. The price was reasonable and the quality was fresh, hot, and portion was enough for 1-2 ppl. I would highly recommend. This is my 2nd order and will definitely support in the near future. They even threw in a free ranch.

The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. I always stop when I'm in the area working.

I've eaten here a couple of times now. I initially went for the boba tea but decided to also try their chicken. The boba is solid! The chicken is crunchy and juicy. Unfortunately, I also take out so by the time I get home, I forget to take a photo of the wings. But, trust me when I say they are GOOD! They have a few sauce and spice options as well. I will be back, so I will do my best to snag a pic of the wings then lol.

Not the best picture but these are hands down some of the best wings I've had in my life 10/10 (honey soy garlic spicy chicken butt wings)

I have been waiting to come after seeing a review on IG. I love battered wings. I went in to order and the decor is really cute. Else you'd expect from a korean spot with merc. Service was dry and I was hoping the food would make up for it. I ordered the five piece things with their chicken butt sauce mild. It took maybe about 10 minutes before it was ready. I quickly exited to my car and couldn't wait to open up my cute little box with wings. I enjoyed the crunch and sad to be happy it actually tasted fresh. The chicken was seasoned but next time I'll ask for the next heat since the gentleman who took my order wasn't any help there. I definitely would come back to try different flavor varieties.

Very solid place for wings in the Columbia area. The chicken was filling and delicious, especially when paired with the bubble tea! The service was a little slow, hence 4 starts but the everything by else gives it 5 stars in my book. The restaurant itself is clean and has a cool aesthetic. Would recommend just not in a hurry!

Amazing combination of chicken butt sandwich and a refreshing bubble tea. Don't sleep on the amazing crunchy fries.

Overall: Small shop with bubble tea, macaroons and desserts, and fried chicken and French fries. Only a couple of tables and one single stall restroom. If I could give 3.5 stars I would. We dropped in on a Friday night and ordered two hot chicken sandwiches, garlic soy chicken tenders, and fries. It took 30 minutes for our food to come out, which felt long since the place was pretty empty and it's set up like a fast casual place. The chicken was thick and juicy with a nice crunchy fry on it. My son was obsessed with the soy garlic sauce and the fries were pretty good. To me the prices felt a little high and the wait a little long for what the food and ambiance was. I always wish for at least one veggie on the menu, which there wasn't but I understand for the type of restaurant it is. There were no high chairs for kids.

Summary: Kokee Chicken (Butt) is located within the Kokee tea shop and offers a smallish menu of fried chicken options with sides. They also have a huge selection of Milk Tea, but my review is specifically on the food since I didn't get any of their speciality drinks. The food is good. It's definitely one of the better spicy chicken sandwich offerings in the area. I would check it out if you haven't been. Details: Starting with the location - it's definitely more of a milk tea shop first. Lots of foot traffic primarily ordering milk teas. The seating is pretty limited and not really "sit down and eat" vibes. I think there's probably like 6-7 tables total with 2 chairs at each. It's fine for a quick bite. Speaking of quick though, the food was not quick to come out. We ordered 2 chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, and a side of waffle fries and it took probably close to 20-30 minutes to get our food. The food - it was good! The waffle fries reminds me a bit of a Chick-Fil-A waffle mixed with Arby's (in a good way). The flavor profile itself, I felt like certain things were a hint too sweet or a hint too salty. All in all, I thought everything was delicious and well-cooked. I can probably go without the chicken tenders next time. As far as menu items go, they also have a ton of options for ordering wings. I thought the chicken sandwich was definitely the best thing we ordered. Great balance on flavors and a good kick with spice. Service Staff was friendly, but not much interaction. As mentioned earlier, it's more of a milk tea spot, so once you order your food, it's pretty much hands off from the staff at that point. Not a negative, just set your expectation for bussing your own tables. Conclusion It was a good spot and I'd definitely recommend. Food took a little longer than expected to get. The dining area is a bit limited, but does the job for less busy days.

Recently just moved to MD and coming from SoCal where it's Boba shops galore, so glad this place exists literally down the street from our house. No doubt I'll be a regular customer here. The chicken butt sandwich was delicious that's cooked and seasoned to perfection and our drinks were awesome too.

    5 pc Yangnyeom, $8.95 (11.7.22)

11.7.22 I've had a hankering for chicken wings lately. Second restaurant I've been to in two weeks. This is apparently a franchise, but this location also sells chicken whereas many of the other locations only sell tea. They are located in Columbia Palace Plaza in the same shopping center as Asean Bistro, UPS Store, and Tino's Bistro. It's a rather small shop and they have five 2-seat tables. Their chicken includes tender, wings, and chicken sandwich. They also sell fried shrimp and oysters, and sides. The tenders and sandwich can be purchased as a combo with waffle fries and a can soda. Their wings can be purchased in a quantity of 5, 10, 20, 30, or 40. The chicken sandwich has different levels of spiciness, and the wings and tenders have different sauce options. They have different types of tea including milk tea, cold cloud, fresh fruit tea, and ice blended. They have a selection of boba and jelly toppings to choose from and you customize the level of sweetness of the tea. My husband ordered a brown sugar tea and 5 piece yangnyeom tenders and a side of chicken butt sauce. I ordered the taro tea and 10 pc honey soy garlic wings and waffle fries. With tip, it came out to $48 which is pretty pricy for fast casual. You pick up your order at the counter when it's ready. They deliver through Uber Eats and Grubhub. It took about 20 minutes to cook the food. A bit too long in my opinion since there was no one there, but most likely they serve more patrons through deliveries than dine in. My husband liked his tenders and preferred the chicken butt sauce instead of the yangnyeom. He said the chicken was super moist. I liked my wings and the fact that the sauce wasn't slathered on them. It was moist and piping hot. Fries could have been crispier and would have tasted better with a dipping sauce. My tea was sweet and flavorful and the chewiness of the boba was perfect. I am definitely a fan, although I will only come occasionally given that it's a tad on the pricier side.

    Honey Soy Garlic Chicken

Kokkee kitchen was an excellent experience, the cashier was very tentative and kind. The staff in the kitchen were working very hard while the restaurant was lively on Saturday around 7 pm. We got the Spicy Yangnyeom wings, Honey Soy Garlic wings ,and the Chicken Butt Sandwich combo. We got our food in about 15 minutes after we ordered! We got both meals for roughly 30 bucks but 100% worth it. Super filling! FYI: No Bathroom Spicy Yangnyeom Wings: These wings were absolutely a hit. The wings were coated well with the Yangnyeom sauce. It had a sweet honey like taste, slight kick of heat, an assortment of seasoning. The chicken skin was crunchy and the inside was packed with flavor and juice. This was my favorite of the three. Honey Soy Garlic Wings: The wings were great, it was a dry rub that didn't have too much of one flavor and was a great mix of the honey, soy, and garlic. The skin was cooked perfectly by not being too oily, had a good crunch, and was super moist on the inside. Chicken Butt Sandwich: My girlfriend said this "Is the best fried chicken sandwich l ever had" the chicken was both crispy and juice. The bun was toasted and fluffy. The house slaw and pickle added freshness and balance to the hearty chicken. The waffle fries were incredible, they were crispy, well seasoned, and had good thickness. She'll be coming back for this sandwich.
