Awesome hot chicken sandwich , reasonable price. Hot level is selective. I plan to go back.

    3 Tenders (6.20.24)

6.20.24 I was really hoping to be wowed, but it was just average to me. I got 3 piece chicken tenders (mild heat) combo and my hubby got 3 piece tenders with medium heat. Compared to other local chicken fast casual restaurants such as Hangry Joe's or Raising Canes, this had the longest wait time. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the wait. It was just average to us. The mild was spicy to me and the medium heat was spicier than medium heat at other restaurants. I even commented to my hubby that his nose was running and so was mine. Lol. The fries were not good. I would prefer fries at McDs, KFC , or Wendy's. When I got home, I had discomfort likely from the spiciness. All this to say I am unlikely to return. The highlight of my visit were the friendly staff. Some helpful info: -Their chicken is all natural and hormone-free. -Catering is available. -Pick up is available. -Seating is limited and it gets hot as sunlight shines through the windows.

I've been here twice now and both times the food was great. Perfect heat and well seasoned fries and not salty. The chicken is not dry and the portions are pretty big. Only complaint is that the food is made to order to it takes a while which isn't really a bad thing but something to be aware of. Don't come during the rush.

Came here on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy. There is limited seating so you may have to wait or take it to go. Crimson sandwich: I got this with mild spice level and there was still a kick to it. The sandwich was greasy and a bit messy but overall good. The shape of the chicken sandwich was kind of weird - you can see from my pic below but it was juicy and had a nice crunch to it. Homestyle: the bread over powered this sandwich. Too buttery and cheesy for my taste. Joey style onion: this was okay. I'm not sure what it was missing or maybe had too much of but the flavors all together weren't great.

I may give this place another chance once they are more organized. We came here and it wasn't busy but it took forever to get our food. There were tons of people standing around behind the counter waiting to do something. I think they need to work on their timing. The chicken was ok. They were out of the chicken sandwiches so I got one with bread. My chicken was a weird texture and maybe not really cooked all the way. The strips were good and well cooked. The sauce was good.

The Snash Burger was a really good burger. Actually, it surprised me. I get that this is actually a chicken place but outside of the burger, the other food was confusing.

Great friendly staff. I took close to an hour drive for this chicken sandwich and its didn't disappoint! The chicken patty was crispy and juicy and the fries tasted fresh! The Texas toast with the melted cheese and their special sauce was a fire combination. Had a clean and spacious seating area. I will definitely be back

I saw advertisement of the restaurant on Facebook and since it's new to the Columbia area, I decided to give it a try. It reminds me of Raising Canes. I ordered a chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese. The sandwich was flavorful with the bun and sauce that comes on it. The mac and cheese was good. You can choose from the level of flavor you want such as no heat, mild, or heat. I got no heat. The customer service was good. I didn't have to wait long for my food. It's small inside. There are tables you can sit and eat but not many. They do the cooking in front of you.

Good spot for lunch. Was driving by and saw they that just recently opened this location. There was a little bit of a line so they seem to be popular. You can order at a kiosk or order with an actual cashier. There have mostly Nashville Hot chicken dishes on the menu but they also have burgers. I had a half coward. It 6 wings in the flavor of your choosing. I can only handle up to the medium but you can order the super hot ones. Also had an order of the Joey eat fries. It's their version of loaded fries that come with chopped up chicken tenders and cheese on top of their seasoned fries. Everything was good. They are on the expensive side as my order came up to 29 dollars but I did get a drink as well. Not bad to get from time to time but my wallet won't let me eat it every day.

I visited this place when they opened up the first week and so the weak performance/rating is reflected on this. The food smelled and tasted pretty good but it was cooked terribly. The service was however was good but the food has to taste good. I may try it again jn the future if they have deals but it feels like hangry joes chicken might be the better option here.

I came here upon seeing local food group on Facebook. I want to start by saying this place is new so there's quite a bit of leniency in my review. The staffs are super busy but not organized. I ordered the chicken combo with drink at the kiosk but no body mentioned you ask for the cup there. The chicken is a little overcooked and sort of thin. The fries are very fresh but under seasoned. I would say the best part about the sandwich is the bread and slaw. It's pretty casual. I would comeback to try one more time and hopefully it'll be better then. Nice to see a new option around the area.

Columbia's newest chicken spot is a tasty treat. They offer both sandwiches and tenders available in different flavors and levels of heat. They also have burgers which also looked very good.

Chicken wings with skin not done. The skin was slimmy under the fried coating.

Food was 2 stars. We ordered double smash burger, tenders and wings. The wings skin was slimmy under the fried coating. Service was 5 stars! Unfortunately will not be back because of the food.

Upon entering, we were met with graffiti inspired artwork on the walls, which was cool. We perused the menu and decided to order. They have different levels of spice for your chicken and decided on an order that was mild (2 sandwich meal) , medium, (2 sandwich meal) and extra hot (I was warned by my daughter to rethink this option, but, alas, I did not heed her warning; 1 tender 1 sandwich meal). They had the spiciest level, reaper, which you have to sign a waiver to purchase, I wasn't that crazy y'all... Food delivery service was available and they had an LED board with which ones each order was under. The service was great with the associates very pleasant at the counter. We also ordered a fruit punch slushy, but it was TOO sweet for me and I couldn't finish it. If you love sweet drinks, this would be the one for you! We were given a buzzer and we didn't wait long for our order to be ready. The orders were accompanied by crinkle cut fries (we got cheese on ours for an extra cost) along with a small container of coleslaw, pickle slices, and Dave's Sauce. The fries were good with that cheese sauce: fresh, crispy, not greasy and the sauce tasting like real cheese. Now....I pride myself on enjoying a good hot spiced item from time to time... but my extra hot tender was not to be played with. I bit into that crispy tender and instantly knew I indeed "bit off more than I could chew!" It was as if that hot spiced item shot through my whole body and I was heated on the inside for about a couple of minutes. I say that to say, if you are not into spicy SPICY, don't go above medium. So glad I chose a medium spice sandwich (yes, you can get different spice levels in your order) because that saved me. The chicken was fresh, with a crispy coating on a fresh bun with Dave's sauce. The pickles were fresh and crisp (my go-to to put out that heat from that extra hot chicken tender!), the coleslaw was fresh and ok. I really don't like sauces like the Dave's sauce on my food, so the next time I will get my sandwich without it. All in all, a nice place for a good chicken sandwich, especially with the cheese fries! Epilogue: I saved the rest of that extra hot tender to eat the next day hoping the spice level had dissipated...but no...it seems as if it intensified...but I still ate it...maybe I'm used to that spice level now...

Then, you can add any sides, which the first she recommended was the plantains, which was what I was leaning to anyway. She was right! Those plantains were outstanding. Chicken & Basmati rice was delicious too. I wish I had taken a pic of the food, but maybe next time if I'm up this way, I'd definitely go back. We purchased half a chicken box which consist of four piece chicken (drumstick, breast, wing, thigh), fries, coleslaw, and a slice of bread. Although it took a little longer than normal, it was worth the wait. The fries and chicken were piping hot and crispy. When I bit into the chicken, it was crackling and so hot I had to blow on it. Aside from fried chicken, they also sell fish, wings, sides, and dessert. It's worth noting that their infamous lemon pepper seasoning, often referred to as crack because it's addictive, is available for purchase. My husband was thrilled to see this as the Glen Burnie location does not sell it. When I started taking pictures, one of the owners, Tiger, saw me and started chatting. I was immediately greeted by one of the Chick-fil-A employees while I entered. As I approached the counter, I was once again greeted by a different Chick-fil-A employee who was working the register. His name was Douglas. While I was placing my order, I noticed something neat that he was wearing and I complimented him on it. We then engaged in a little small talk, and we had a pleasant conversation. So, I don't know how other folks feel, but from my experience I've noticed that most of the employees at every Chick-fil-A have a higher level of professionalism and friendliness than is typical at most other fast food restaurants. I have also found that they provide good old-fashioned face-to-face customer service, instead of just adding a bunch of stupid (impersonal) kiosks like several other fast-food establishments have recently done. These are just two of the reasons that Chick-fil-A will continue to be a successful business. Several other fast food establishments have just not mastered customer service the way that Chick-fil-A has, in my opinion. Employees like Douglas are one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Not only is the chicken really delicious, but I'm also happy that Chick-fil-A is willing to let me have a bunch of sauces to go along with my meal without being annoying by charging me extra for them (like McDonald's typically does).
