As well as the amount of people in line to get the food. At off peak hours, I was not expecting this at all. What this tells me is that no matter how bad the economy is, everyone wants the feeling of going out and treating themselves. I saw people from all walks of life, ok perhaps the lower end of the economic scale, having a great time sharing a meal with their kids and family and friends. Everyone truly enjoying themselves. We got to talking with our neighbors as well. It was awesome e. It wasn't the food that was memorable, although I recommend the friend chicken, fish, soup and some of the desserts. In fact, I skipped a lot of the foods just because the wait was too long. It was chaotic but the crew kept their composure and kept the joint hopping. Was it a fine dining experience by any means? In a word no. But if you just want a variety of food surrounded by people, who like all of us want to have a good time with friends and family, why not. Btw, their soft serve ice cream was very good and it was working.

I have not been to Golden Corral in Years so this visit is why I have fond memories of this place along with why I have been missing from this place for years. Our party was seated across one big section but, at random tables because we all came at slightly different times. What I would love to do is highlight the hard working staff. Our servers were different at each table but I believe her name was Sharon (don't quote me) was so nice and gracious. I gave her a gift that I know I was not going to use and she was so happy to receive it. She made sure to tell me to inform her manager so he could put it up for her in the office until her shift was over. From the moment we booked, she went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Her communication was exceptional, and she checked in throughout our stay with the perfect balance of attentiveness and warmth, making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. What truly sets Sha-Ree apart is her incredible gift for hospitality. She didn't just make sure our trip went smoothly -- she made it memorable. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and enthusiasm elevated the entire experience and made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. As an added bonus, she gave us fantastic book recommendations, so fellow readers should absolutely seek her out! If every host were like Sha-Ree, travel would be a completely different experience. We can't say enough wonderful things about her and would return in a heartbeat. Moving on to the rest of the wonderful people we encountered during our stay! The bellhop, Andre, was friendly and welcoming. Claudiane got us checked in and situated with player cards efficiently. We met Rafaela on the floor and she must have recognized us as newcomers because she also came over to welcome us. Jeremiah was our server for brunch and went out of his way to make sure my husband (who is incredibly picky about coffee for someone who drinks Dunkin) had all of the accoutrements he needed. I also stopped by the spa while we were there, and had a truly incredible massage from Amaya. Last but not least, the bartenders, Ikeola and Merrill. They were both patient in running through all of the IPAs available, and Merrill was absolutely hilarious. Food time! The first night we got a bit caught up in gambling, so just grabbed food from the Orchid Kitchen. We had a slice of the meat lovers pizza, cheese pizza, a double smash burger, and their chicken tenders. The pizza slices were massive and the crust had a delicious garlic butter seasoning of some sort. The smash burger came with all of the right toppings, and the sauce really pulled it all together. If I could eat those chicken tenders every day, I could die happy. (It might be a premature death due to clogged arteries, but it would be worth it). We went to brunch at David's the next day and ordered the crab cake Benedict and avocado toast. As someone who eats avocado toast more than I care to admit, I have to say this was the best I'd ever had. The pesto added a wonderful element and really amped up the flavor profile. The crab cake was seasoned beautifully. It didn't overwhelm the delicate crab flavor, and the hollandaise had a perfect balance of richness and flavor. Lunch was the birria quesadilla at the FanDuel Sportsbook, and it was loaded with meat. It didn't have quite the punch of flavor I would expect from birria, but I was still pleased. Moving on to the pièce de résistance - dinner at The Prime Rib. Their bread basket (and butter) puts all other bread baskets to shame. A delectable variety of bread, rolls, and soft pretzel sticks. For dinner we ordered the seafood tower, and it was so good I immediately texted everyone I know about it. The mignonette provided a delicious pucker punch, and there was a regular cocktail sauce and horseradish one for a bit of a kick. The seafood itself (lobster, shrimp, crab, oysters, and clams) was flawless. Tender, flavorful, perfectly chilled...I'm drooling just thinking about it again. All in all, this was the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Between the staff, food, ambiance, cleanliness, amenities, and amazing casino, you will not find a better spot to spend a day...or week...or even a month, depending on how good you are at gambling. Truly an incredible experience and I can't wait to return!

Completely dropped it or purposefully put it in his pocket. The situation should have been solved quickly but the man continued to just scan everyone else in line (even after acknowledging he lost the ID). After a minute or two of him making no effort, I tried to explain to him that this was a major problem. We were traveling from out of state and losing my husband's ID was an emergency that should have been taken seriously. I was told multiple times to "calm down" and how he "could find it in 2 seconds" - like, okay? Then find it in 2 seconds! I had to get multiple other employees involved to help look. The security guy who lost his ID continued making jokes about the situation, downplaying the severity, and telling me to calm down. 5-10 minutes later (at this point multiple employees are looking for the ID), the security guy pulls it out of his pocket. I have no idea if it was an accident or if this man attempted to steal my husband's drivers license for some reason. We were so stressed in this situation. Completely ruined the vibes of the night and our trust in the casino. If you can't trust the security at a casino entrance to handle things professionally, why go? Seemed super shady and I do not appreciate this man telling me to calm down as a paying customer when he failed to do an extremely simple job of scanning an ID and giving it back. We did not stick around after this experience.

But to maximize your money, I suggest visiting at lunch. M-Friday until 3:15pm, you can get lunch price and pair with water, saving 7$ per adult. And the lunch selection is 85% or better as good as dinner choices. THE GOOD: Great variety and quality for the price - dedicated staff too THE BAD: Not much, avoid Sundays - mobbed, but that in itself is a compliment. Like any buffet, there is an occasional off dish, but the winners pick up the slack As a proud Marylander, I've dined here 2-3xs a month since 2018. I go because I leave full and satisfied knowing it was money well spent. They have a delectable variety of dishes with plenty for all preferences and diets. Whether you are strict low carb, looking for healthy options, or just don't care and want to savor it all - this is the place. Let me say, if you love seafood, one modest plate of huge hardshell crabs, crawfish and mussels alone will easily cover the price. The salad bar is stacked with sauces and desserts (fruits, cakes, pudding and more). They have a fantastic made-to-order hibatchi bar, great sushi, and of course all the Chinese take-out favorites. Do you like fried chicken and shrimp? Don't waste your money at chains, they have it here and it's better. Not looking to sit? Save time with convienient take out. I also like they stay on top of the stations. They are typically clean and organized. Finally, the staff is friendly and they work hard to keep your table clear and the restaurant clean. Enjoy! I do - every time.

The grilled fish we got was a little on the burnt side which made it difficult to eat on account of the bitter taste and it was in a place where it was difficult to separate the burnt part from the meat. If I knew beforehand, I would have prepared to bring cash because that surcharge was big and this was not even verbally offered at the time of payment. It used to be bag fees, and I brought my own bag in for groceries, but this surcharge left a bad taste. if this is to be standard, please put up a sign at the counter or on your website. Even the recently opened and popular Karahi Boys in Sterling, VA made a somewhat disappointing chicken karahi (although their goat karahi was on-point). Not here though. This place offers three karahi options or styles- makhani/butter, Shinwari, and Butt- with chicken or goat meat. My wife and I picked the chicken Butt karahi and a side of the Lahori chana/chickpeas. The order took around 25 min to fulfill, but it was well worth the wait. The karahi was wonderful with a wonderfully coated thick gravy that clung very well onto the chicken, with the ubiquitousness of warming savory peppery spice in each bite, hiding a slight hint of sour-sweet note that would come at the back end, and made us forget about the disappointing ones we'd eaten previously. The Lahori chana, like many of the chickpea preparations in Northern India and Pakistan, was perfectly spiced with that effervescent note of the baking soda in which the chickpeas were cooked. All in all, a wonderful afternoon meal at a spot that is highly likely to be very frequented by us often. The goat karahi, charga, and rest of their BBQ menu will definitely be on our agenda next. If there was something to rue about, it was the lack of clientele when we went around 1:30-ish pm on a Saturday- not exactly lunch hour but we'd have expected to see more people there (although people were coming in sporadically for pick-up orders). I, however, will advise against ordering any of the typical North Indian/British Indian staples, like butter chicken or tikka masala even if they're on the menu.
