I remembered the food being not so memorable but there was a variety of What I di nit expect was the sheer volume of people standing in line to get I. As well as the amount of people in line to get the food. At off peak hours, I was not expecting this at all. What this tells me is that no matter how bad the economy is, everyone wants the feeling of going out and treating themselves. I saw people from all walks of life, ok perhaps the lower end of the economic scale, having a great time sharing a meal with their kids and family and friends. Everyone truly enjoying themselves. We got to talking with our neighbors as well. It was awesome e. It wasn't the food that was memorable, although I recommend the friend chicken, fish, soup and some of the desserts. In fact, I skipped a lot of the foods just because the wait was too long. It was chaotic but the crew kept their composure and kept the joint hopping. Was it a fine dining experience by any means? In a word no. But if you just want a variety of food surrounded by people, who like all of us want to have a good time with friends and family, why not. Btw, their soft serve ice cream was very good and it was working.

I have not been to Golden Corral in Years so this visit is why I have fond memories of this place along with why I have been missing from this place for years. Nevertheless, the food is pretty much the same as before ~no changes. The line to get in was stacked with tons of people waiting to be seated. Our party was seated across one big section but, at random tables because we all came at slightly different times. What I would love to do is highlight the hard working staff. Our servers were different at each table but I believe her name was Sharon (don't quote me) was so nice and gracious. I gave her a gift that I know I was not going to use and she was so happy to receive it. She made sure to tell me to inform her manager so he could put it up for her in the office until her shift was over. Working at Golden Corral I am sure it not easy but, this server was truly dedicated and that is hard to find. Sending positive energy to all the hard working staff

The casino is large and has a good amount of old and new slot games. There were a good amount of table games as well. There are high limit rooms for slots and table games if that's your thing. Certain areas of the gaming floor are quite dim and others are brighter. Overall we had decent luck but obviously that could change from visit to visit. They posted a 91% payback when I was there. The Hall is their event center and it has a variety of things there from concerts to comedy shows to holiday parties and more. We saw a concert there and it was ok but not the best venue for big music fans. The floor is not sloped for concerts so medium and shorter peeps, you are likely out of luck if anyone tall is standing in front of you. Acoustics were rough in the beginning (along with a stoppage for a fire alarm!) but balanced out more towards the middle. Drinks were reasonably priced for a concert venue. Bathroom lines were horrendous for women's and men's. We also attended a NYE party there and it was festive and themed well (Wicked) with food and giveaways and beverages. Band was good and dance floor had people partaking. They are attached to a mall and many places to eat and shop in the area. Would likely visit again when back in the area and would consider staying as well.

The popular eateries are closing. Morty's was a great sandwich shop. We couldn't find it in the regular corner area. It's either gone or relocated in a far away spot. Some of the newer casual eateries require ordering at a kiosk before approaching the counter. The personal touch is evaporating. It is challenging to find a kiosk to check points or promotions. The location of machines (if they don't have a huge line wrapped around a wall) are usually in heavily trafficked areas. If you are already at the mall or going to Costco, it might be worth a visit. I wouldn't go out of my way to stop by. The games we adored are mostly gone, except for the Wonder Woman slot machines (no longer prominently featured). Be alert in the parking garage. MGM is classier and has a food court.

******FRESH REVIEW FOR 2025!!*****…read more KEY DETAILS: Dinner for adults, 18.99, lunch 14.99 (discounts for seniors and young children, drinks not included [2.99], made to order hibatchi included, sushi bar included) ***Strategy Note*** In these inflated times, higher prices and smaller portions, Grand Hibachi is an excellent value. But to maximize your money, I suggest visiting at lunch. M-Friday until 3:15pm, you can get lunch price and pair with water, saving 7$ per adult. And the lunch selection is 85% or better as good as dinner choices. THE GOOD: Great variety and quality for the price - dedicated staff too THE BAD: Not much, avoid Sundays - mobbed, but that in itself is a compliment. Like any buffet, there is an occasional off dish, but the winners pick up the slack As a proud Marylander, I've dined here 2-3xs a month since 2018. I go because I leave full and satisfied knowing it was money well spent. They have a delectable variety of dishes with plenty for all preferences and diets. Whether you are strict low carb, looking for healthy options, or just don't care and want to savor it all - this is the place. Let me say, if you love seafood, one modest plate of huge hardshell crabs, crawfish and mussels alone will easily cover the price. The salad bar is stacked with sauces and desserts (fruits, cakes, pudding and more). They have a fantastic made-to-order hibatchi bar, great sushi, and of course all the Chinese take-out favorites. Do you like fried chicken and shrimp? Don't waste your money at chains, they have it here and it's better. Not looking to sit? Save time with convienient take out. I also like they stay on top of the stations. They are typically clean and organized. Finally, the staff is friendly and they work hard to keep your table clear and the restaurant clean. Enjoy! I do - every time.

I ate here a few times and had some of the best wings I ever had. They were fresh and crispy, and had this Old Bay Honey sauce which was quite amazing. The wings stayed crispy the entire time too. I would have loved to try the buffalo too just because the wings themselves were so good. The Creamy Crab Soup was also wonderful. A bowl was $13 but it was a good size, piping hot, and loaded with chunks of crab! So good... and something I wanted to be crabby! The Crab Cake was great too. It wasn't lump crab (nor did it claim to be), but the exterior was crispy and the inside was moist and delicious. It was even better with the orange sauce (color, not flavor) that was brought out after. It might be the onion ring sauce, but the waitress wasn't sure. It needed it! I wanted to go to the bar a few times, but during the week, it was kinda packed without an open seat. Bummer! I'll guess it's a popular place with guests.

This time, the pork barbecue looked a little dry. Missing some of the "taba" (fat) at the end which would have been nice. Taste is still ok and just dipped in vinegar so it's not too dry. The grilled fish we got was a little on the burnt side which made it difficult to eat on account of the bitter taste and it was in a place where it was difficult to separate the burnt part from the meat. Also, my one beef is that there was an added credit card surcharge of 3% which I was not informed of ahead of time. This is big as my bill before taxes was already over $135! If I knew beforehand, I would have prepared to bring cash because that surcharge was big and this was not even verbally offered at the time of payment. I have been a loyal customer for many years now but we don't come as often as we don't leave near. It used to be bag fees, and I brought my own bag in for groceries, but this surcharge left a bad taste. if this is to be standard, please put up a sign at the counter or on your website. Otherwise, I like the variety of food and grocery items offered, but there has to be better communication with customers.

The owner's collection is really impressive and I'm already planning a trip back with my partner to explore more of the spirits. My friend and I ordered the half serving of fish curry, half serving of butter chicken, and veggie pakoras. Everything was delicious and came out quickly. The butter chicken wasn't like any other butter chicken I've had -- it was more rich in flavor and leaned more towards a tikka masala in my opinion but it was still good. It came with only one serving of rice for both orders so if you prefer more rice, order extra. It wasn't my favorite basmati rice I've had though. The service was extremely attentive and at times a bit suffocating. Once our food came out, we were checked on 5-6 times in a matter of 10 minutes all by different servers. After a certain point, we both got annoyed because we just wanted to have a conversation without being interrupted every 2 minutes. Waters were refilled any time even a small sip was taken. It seemed like the servers were bored and just trying to find something to do. But I would've much preferred our own server just stopping by once, so my friend and I could've enjoyed our time to catch up. Beyond that, the space is gorgeous with lots of fancy decor. We felt a bit underdressed actually. My friend and I both said how we'd love to come back for a nicer dinner and eat at the bar so service is more relaxed next time.
