This time I got two items: #1) "smoking kung pao dragon sushi", it's pretty spicy, approx 8 pieces. #2) shrimp pan fried dumplings it came with chili sauce on the side, delicious too. 3 pieces during happy hour and 6 pieces regularly. Service is great, always has been my experience as well. Door greeting team smiles and welcomes. Bar is courteous and precise. Paying the bill can be accomplished by scanning the QR on the check with a phone camera, review your bill there again and leave the tip, email copy to yourself, so easy. For my visit, this was noticeable. I kept thinking Something has to be done with how LOUD the kitchen is...WOW. Doors maybe? For some ppl this might be the difference between a good time and panic . What a bummer! We were pretty excited to see the all new menu tonight - so inventive and exciting! Happy Hour food and bar service didn't deliver, though. The steamed dumplings were hard and tasted frozen, no chile crunch oil available, dumplings weren't scratch made. The spare ribs were very good, hot and sour soup was pretty tasty, but the crunchy soup bits were very stale, and the bar tender was overwhelmed, rolling her eyes when we asked for to go boxes and the check. She seemed to struggle with the orders from the restaurant bar orders, looking at a plastic menu of recipes, and she did complain about the pace, although the restaurant was about 15% full. I think the most surprising thing was that "Happy Hour" only offered 50% off the prices of the cost of the normal appetizer menu items BUT the portions offered were also 50% less. So, on the dinner menu, bbq ribs were 6 for $14ish. On the HH menu, they were 3 for $7ish. Plus the bartender did a 1 oz pour for the mixed drinks like the special martini my sister ordered. But come on - can't she free pour the martini? Ugh. Not going back, and I LOVE their menu!! read more

Probably my most disappointing experience at a P.F. Chang's. Made a reservation and when we arrived were told we'd be placed on the waiting list. We stayed because a member of our party was celebrating a birthday. Got seated at a dirty table. Food got cold waiting for silverware. Food came out wrong. And the icing on the cake was a dirty rag that sat next to my face the whole night. And ZERO birthday celebration. We don't eat out a lot so it's supposed to be a treat. 11.6.25 We came back to where it all began--our first date spot--for our ten year anniversary dinner. The service was excellent, and the food hit the spot. I went with the dinner special: egg drop soup, pork egg roll, white rice, and honey crispy chicken. The chicken was super crispy, though a little light on meat. We visited on a Sunday at 4pm. The parking lot was packed, but the place is easy to get to from multiple places within the mall. We decided to sit at the bar and have some drinks and appetizers while waiting for a To-Go order. The bartender, Kevin, was AMAZING!!! If the review was only for him and the food this would be five stars. We ordered the Crab wonton and pork dumplings, both tasted so good. We also ordered the seasonal drinks; frosted cranberry cosmo, and apple spice & everything nice. The drinks were made perfectly, and delicious. My biggest complaint about the place was the bathroom. It was filthy with toilet paper all over the floor. The soap dispensers were broken and empty. We got an orange chicken with fried rice and a honey chicken with fried rice to-go. My mom and I went here as a last minute decision on the weekend and we had a great time! There's a bourbon apple spice cocktail that was particularly good and the Mongolian tofu is so so crispy and well flavored. The bartender that helped us- I think his name was Kevin- was so kind and personable and really made the experience for us! I want to preface that I did not eat any food during my visit to this P.F. Chang's and the small service we interacted with was fine. Though upon being seated, many people, including myself saw a rodent run across the floor. While frightening some and ultimately ruining guests time, it was definitely very nasty to me to see that. While this was happening one of the employees said they would get the manager, which is very confusing to me because at the moment what could a manger do to suppress the fact that a rodent is in their establishment and has already altered the environment. read more

My family and I are big fans of PF Chang's, and try to have it when we're near one. It's disappointing to see often times that their reviews are on the low side. We have been to several locations in the DMV and FL and we've never had a bad experience and the food is always great. This applies to the Columbia location too. We had the wontons and dumplings for starters. I always get Chang's Spicy Chicken, husband got the Beef and Broccoli or maybe the Mongolian Beef? Our daughter always gets the kid's Honey Chicken. As with the food, the service is usually very good too. We hope that PF Chang's continues to be around, so we can keep frequenting the chain. The ambiance is always nice here. read more

On 25 Jan 2025 I ordered takeout from PF Chang's. My appetizer was Vegetable Lettuce Wrap and my entree was the Beef Mongolian Bowl; both dishes were absolutely delicious. PF Chang's food is always pleasing to the palate, and the restaurant ambiance always inviting. My order was ready shortly after I arrived at the restaurant and included all the condiments I requested. I paid for my order with a credit card, the restaurant added a 20% tip to my bill for takeout service; I can see a 15% tip, but Not 20%. Scallion appetizer: this was invented by the chef's wife here. It's light, crispy, and bit oily but good. There isn't anything inside of it. It comes with a sauce on the side that taste like curry. Triple pepper beef: mildly spicy and has good flavor. Beef chow fun: overall good but not the best I've had. We had a pretty good experience here at this location. Service was great and accommodating, and the food was on point. I will note that the mocktail or zero proof drinks use bitters that have alcohol in them, so depending on why you're not drinking, this may be helpful to know. But, our server was very helpful in finding this out for me. Overall, the food was great. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp and my husband really liked the ribs appetizer. Coming in you are immediately greeted by the friendliest hostess ever. She brought me to a lovely seating area. She even came over after a few minutes to make sure my server had come to my table. The service is next level the kitchen is pumping out hot , delicious food. We decided to eat out after a long and busy work day. We've dined at this location on previous occasions with little to no issues. However, our visit on 9/18/2025, was quit disappointing. We ordered an appetizer , two entrees, and drinks. Our drinks arrived with little to no ice, and no straws. When we requested straws we were told by our server they were out of straws! We saw a couple other tables receive drinks with straws so flagged down another server to request straws, which he provided to us. When our entrees arrived, we had to ask our assigned server for eating utensils, and napkins. In the mean time, the same server who provided us with straws also provided us with plates; this young man helped to make our dining experience a bit better. The food was okay, but nothing to the level of what Changs' food use to be. We never received our appetizer and requested that item to be removed from our bill. Sarah, our assigned server, politely apologized for the error. She provided us with our bill and several fortune cookies that were stale. Our dining experience was not a pleasant one and we will reconsider future visits to this location in the future. With the increased costs of eating out, I do look forward a great overall dining experience. read more

Visited here on a Sunday evening. The only decent thing was the fried string beans. Everything else was inedible. It literally tasted like microwaved and over cooked food. Not even my kids could eat their dinner. We ordered lo 'mein, Mongolian beef, and fried rice. My kids also got the kids ice cream with their meal. The only flavor they had left was pineapple and coconut and they couldn't eat it because it was awful. P.F. Chang used to be such a nice place. Do not waste your time here at all. We went here with my child who has celiac disease because PF Chang's has a gluten free menu. We have eaten at other locations and been fine. Here, our supposedly gluten free meal was contaminated with gluten and my kid got sick. I don't blame the waiter, who was great, but the kitchen. And if they can't keep their promises about avoiding cross-contamination with allergens, I wonder what else they are sloppy about! We were seated in a weird kind of side room with no ambiance, and a lot of scuffs, dust, and marks were visible on the wallpaper and upholstery. Hard to find the restaurant following GPS directions but, well worth the effort (no, it's not in the theater building as our directions showed it was)! We tried a P.F. Chang's in Atlantic City and thought it was so good we decided to find one closer to home! So extremely glad we did! We went to the restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner and we're not disappointed in the least! Our waitress was incredible and friendly. The ambiance wonderful and the food was to die for! We had an array of appetizers, pork egg rolls, hot and sour soup and pan fried pork dumplings. Appetizers were followed with Teriyaki Beef for me and Kung Pao Chicken for my significant other. Add to this meal a deliciously tasty Pina Colada. For dessert we had their Banana Egg Rolls, a true delight indeed...we could easily have ordered a second serving of the Banana Egg Rolls they were so tasty! I haven't been to P.F. Chang's in years. The last time I visited this location specifically, I got really sick, so I was really turned off by this restaurant. My son had never been, so I decided to give them one more chance. My experience was quite mediocre. It was a Saturday night, so the restaurant was pretty busy. Nonetheless, we were seated as soon as we arrived. The floor of the restaurant was very dirty. It was covered in food and trash and was very sticky. I understand being busy, but they could at least clean the floor. We were seated in a booth, that had some type of stand behind it. During our entire visit, the wait staff was basically reaching over me to drop off and pick up water pitchers. While we were seated immediately, it took some time for our table to be greeted. The waitress was very nice and attentive when she did arrive. The food was ok, although the portions seemed smaller than I remember. The prices on the other hand didn't change. To be honest, I don't expect a whole lot from national chains OR from mall restaurant locations. So it was a pleasant surprise (shock even) for this jaded world traveler to find that PF Changs was GOOD, even downright enjoyable. Visits: 4x, once this month, once during covid, 2x before. Food: solid, generous portions, flavorful but not over-salted. Drinks: Surprisingly good bar program offering premium liquors and craft techniques. Aesthetic: Airy, modern, clean. The bartender who served me was quick, professional, and competent-- and had been working there for years. The longevity is unusual enough, but typically chains don't retain this level of talent. Bravo. Keep in mind this a fusion American restaurant, it's not trying to be authentic to a specific nationality. But DO expect heaping helpings of well-flavored American interpretations of popular dishes. All of the ones I tried were well-executed. Interestingly for this cuisine, the food is modestly salted (soy & hot sauces available to amp it up). My blood pressure definitely appreciates that choice. Keep all that in mind and you'll enjoy yourself-- and maybe even more if you get a cocktail or 2! They sadly no longer have what was a high-value Happy Hour (a casualty of the covid era).
