"Pleasantly Surprised" Now this was my first time eating Panda Express. And I was extremely surprised at how flavorful and delicious the plate actually was. The rice was tasty and the pepper chicken was absolutely scrumptious. Add the fresh broccoli to the dish and trust me, you have a lunch meal you can honestly salute. Good old reliable Panda Express. This location is tucked into dobbin center so there's plenty of parking but be warned during peak hours it can definitely be a pain t drive in and out of this place. The staff here are always welcoming and efficient. Even when I've come with long lines they move through quickly which I like. The food is what you'd expect, reliably delicious. My go to of orange chicken and teriyaki chicken is always so good and comforting, hard to mess up. Definitely on my regular rotation of places I go out to eat. Came here at 11:20 am on November 14th, 2025. I got a two item combo with chow mein, Orange Chicken and Bejing Beef. I took the order to-go and drove the 2 minutes back to my office with it. Everyone working there was very nice. The place was clean. The issue is the food. The chow mein was fine. The Beijing Beef was dry with almost all of the sauce cooked out of it. The moment I walked into Panda Express in Columbia, I was greeted by an incredibly warm and friendly staff at the counter--seriously, they were all smiles and made me feel welcome right away. I stuck with my usual--beef and broccoli over noodles--and as always, it did not disappoint. Hot, fresh, flavorful, and just the comfort food I was craving. Now, if I had one suggestion, it would be to stay on top of cleaning the tables. It was a little tricky finding one that didn't have something left behind. A White male walks up ask for an order by name and receives the order. As the attendant turns to mecand ask for confirmation. I point out that the white guy wasn't ask for id. I also pointed out that I come here often and am never asked for confirmation. If you haven't figured yet, I am a Black male. This is unacceptable! I am a Director over 75 professional staff for the State of Maryland, an ordained minister of the gospel of Jesu Christ, a husband of 23 years, and a father of 4 productive Black kids. I particularly love this location. They are always friendly. They are more than happy to provide samples if you are interested in trying a new entrée option or are just unsure what you want. I love that it's fast food but doesn't necessarily taste like fast food. The price is perfect for the portions. I have no problem finding parking which is awesome. Love Panda Express! This location is very clean, spacious, and pretty fast in terms of rotation. Food quality is solid - we got orange chicken, beijing beef, half and half fried rice and lo mein, and everything tasted great. Entree with two sides was more than enough for me, husband ordered three sides. Do get their chili sauce if you like your food spicy. We tried their honey mustard sauce for the first time and it was pretty great too. Service is faster and better than the Columbia mall location too. read more

My sister and I came to Panda Express in Columbia (DOBBIN RD & MD 175) on Saturday 9/07/24 after a day of shopping. I ordered the Bigger Plate/1 side and 3 entrees for $11.40 and I selected Chow Mein (I was not aware of this but I am now that Chow Mein is one of the highest-sodium items on the Panda Express menu, with 860 milligrams per serving), Honey Walnut Shrimp (I was not aware of this, but I am now that this dish packs a lot of fat and also contains a significant amount of sodium and is fairly low in protein), Broccoli Beef (the lean beef is moist and tender and the broccoli is steamed to perfection) and Honey Sesame Chicken Breast (Crispy, chunky, and juicy chicken bites with equally crunchy veggies. Tossed with finger-licking honey sesame sauce, it cuts through the richness with its sweetness and tanginess). I also ordered the Chicken Egg Roll (crunchy on the outside but a little mushy in the middle) and a drink. My bill came to $18.24. The food was delicious and worth coming back for. But not knowing at the time of ordering, I was charged an additional fee of $1.50 for the Honey Walnut Shrimp. I was not informed at the time of ordering that there was an additional fee for this selection, and why is there an additional fee? I will be asking this question the next time I come here to eat. I just ordered from this location for the first time. I was shocked to see the small servings composites to any other location. The mall location, even the locations at rest stops in my travels gave better servings..... I ordered online, if I go back I'll go in person to observe. I have patiently awaited for the grand opening of this Panda Express location in Columbia, MD. It is a breathe of fresh air to the community. The location is warm and welcoming for customers. There are two entry points to for the dining establishment, as well an outdoor seating area. The menu items are well displayed overhead, as well as the food items that are behind the counter. The cashier Nd the fountain drinks are to the immediate right of the food counter station. I am looking forward to visiting this Panda Express again in the near future. read more

I'm sitting in this panda express restaurant now and wanted to write the review before I forgot. There is a management problem at this location whereby there was no teriyaki sauce, no napkins, no forks, not enough people working at it, etc.. I asked for all of the things above and was told that they were out of them and did not have them Because the manager wasn't ordering them. WTF is the manager doing if he's not managing the restaurant to meet the standards Colombians expect from a restaurant. There's five other restaurants within one block of here and if they're not going to manage this place properly, then it's a waste of your time. They were also very low on the quantity of food that was available to pick from because they said they only had one person as a Cook and that they were shorthanded there too, because the manager is not scheduling more than three people at any given time. I would say stay away from this place because I got to think if they're having this many problems, the quality of the food and perhaps the overall upkeep of this restaurant is suffering, and probably is not a very good place to eat until they get there act together. If the manager reads this, please pay more and better attention to the store and give the people (workers) what they need in order to do their job and also if you want to continue to do business around here You should fully stock your store and staff it.. read more

Mushroom chicken doesn't look anything like the photo on the online menu. I got a lot of zucchini and some mushrooms, but almost no chicken. At first I thought there was no chicken but found a few crumbs of chicken at the bottom. The photo show big chunks of chicken . This was not even close. Fried rice was very bland. We eat there often. Prices are reasonable. Serving sizes excellent: you can order more or less depending on how hungry you are. Front of house person was lovely however - I waited for a chicken and mushroom entree with brown rice bowl. when it was time for the meal to be served about 7 minutes later, there was no brown rice. I wouldn't have ordered knowing that. I received lots of noodles and a small amount of the entree. Hardly enough protein to be considered a good meal. read more
