I had a pleasant experience here. We stopped by for a quick dinner after visiting the mall. This is a standalone McDonald's (aka NOT in the food court, but you will find their competitor, Burger King, there). It's located across the street from the Medieval Times. (Note: There is also a McDonald's located on the other side of the mall, inside the Walmart, near Costco.) Parking is a little tight, as it's a busy mall and this McDonald's is surrounded by several other restaurants - Copper Canyon, Chipotle, and Golden Corral - with Wendy's and Chik-fil-a also across the street - this mall has everything! I ordered on the app and the food was ready promptly. There are also kiosks to punch in your order, and the counter was manned occasionally. This is actually the speediest McDonald's that I've been to (this location puts my local Mickey D's to shame). Finally, a fast food joint that knows how to expedite (and with accuracy)... just when I was beginning to lose faith in fast food franchises. The restaurant is generally clean, but tables could've been a little cleaner. Some "cleaned" tables were streaky, there was a little trash on the floor, seats could've been wiped down, etc. They were tidying up the area and sweeping while I was dining in, so the effort is there. This has to be one of the best McDonald's locations in MD. I always do a mobile order and the food at this location is always fresh, the customer service is always good, the ambiance inside is always pretty chill and plenty of seating, and they pay attention to specific order requests like "no salt" on burgers and fries, which is a HUGE deal for me. Yesterday I tried the new Cheesy Jalapeno Bacon Double QP with no salt and the burger was fresh and tasted really good! However, I am not a huge fan of cheese sauce and would just prefer a regular bacon double QP lol. read more

The sitting area is "hip" and modern. If any of my older relatives walked in here, they would immediately walk right back out. The ordering starts on a screen (think Wawa's order screen on steroids). Teens will love quickly selecting items and handling their own orders. People who aren't tech savvy may not feel comfortable navigating the menu options. I couldn't find a way to leave a topping off a wrap so I didn't order it. I guess these "Tinder for food items" screens might save McDonald's money on humans. I like interacting with humans. First, the food here always seems fresh. But, I'm giving this a one-star anyway. One-star because I can't give it a zero-star. Here's why... the service is predictably and consistently awful! It's not worth it. If you order more than 3 items -in the drive-thru- one will be wrong. The supervisors/managers are simply incapable of running this drive-thru well. And don't bother complaining, they take that personally. They mentally and emotionally struggle to correct the simplest of mistakes. One star is extremely generous. I don't really visit the Golden Arches often, but when I do it's normally for breakfast! This location is open 24hours and always offers fast service with a smile. I love the oatmeal. It's probably one of the best and healthiest items on the menu. Additionally, they now offer breakfast all day, so I can have it anytime and sometimes I do. With all different raisins and apples in this oatmeal, sometimes I stop in and have it as a sweet but healthy treat. I'm weird like that, but it's ok. I ordered the egg white delight add tomato. It's my second favorite breakfast item and also pretty healthy. A slice of Canadian bacon, egg whites, and white cheddar on a toasted English muffin, yummm! I like to add a slice of tomato which is an extra charge but worth it. The drive thru moved quickly and my food was nice and hot when received. read more

Don't go here! Sad it's the McDonald's to where I live and near a shopping mall , the floors are dirty and the workers are busy , I picked up my mobile order at 710pm and took my food home , bit into my apple pie and it was stale and hard , looked at the eat by date and it said eat by 2pm, honestly 2 hours old, went to call and asked for a manager , she said no manager call tmrw , I said no, she said hold on . Then a few seconds later click, she hung up on me. Drive down. And sure enough there was the manager , took my apple pie I explained it was 4 hours old. She gave me what looked like a new box . I said someone hung up on me when I called , she said I'm sorry we are busy . Really , don't go here. Food is not up to par and they WILL serve you old food also !!!! This location by far has the rudest staff I have ever had to encounter. Last time I went, I ordered just a drink, and waited 20 minutes until an employee very rudely asked "What do you want?" I told her I ordered a Sweet Tea, and she just pointed at the cup as of saying "F*cking get it yourself." I used to work for the McDonald's. I get it, lunch rush can be crazy, but if I ever did what that employee did to me when working, I would have been fired faster than I could have turned around to continue what I was doing. Duuude. This gotta be the worst McDonald's with both their orders and their customer service! First, when we walked in the managers and staff were having a meeting close to the registers. My family and I are standing by the damn registers and no one acknowledged us-right there we should have left but we have we have picky kids in our party and one that has special needs so if we had left, all hell would have broke loose with a huge tantrum. So we stayed. We then ordered from the kiosk. I guess the staff don't come to your table even though you have to take a table marker. That's fine, but no one said that they would be calling our order to pick up at the front. So we're sitting there like idiots not knowing our food was ready. When we got our order, it was missing French fries, sauce packets, our drink cups! No apologies. Nothing. We weren't mean either so no reason for them to show us shitty customer service. I ordered the food via the mobile app. When I got into the correct parking spot, Sierra brought out my food with the biggest smile. She also ensured that each one of the kids had the right food and 4 different toys because she stated how she knew how kids would feel if they all had the same toys. I honestly see why this location has such bad reviews. The cashier at the first window is playing music and not paying attention looking strung out, slowing the entire line down, meanwhile the manager or whoever she is at the second window gives me two sauces for 20 nuggets, when I ask for two more she gives me only one and ignores me as I continue to ask for more. "I am the manager" she says. It was raining cats and dog today, ms. manger expect me to run in the rain to get my card for a refund because she can't get my order right. First of all, I had ordered online and came in to get my food not knowing my food wasn't readied but receiving assistance from an unhelpful manager calling her boss every 10 seconds asking for assistance. I am nonchalant, yes, but when it comes to food, mine especially don't waste even a string of fries. You had charged me 26.99 and you are saying you don't see my order, then at the very end says you've recieved 5 orders but gave me none. Excuse me, where was my food when you had manually input the order and accidentally pressed "cash" instead or card payments. Finally, the food was made, readied for pick up and yet you told your subordinate to not hand it out, it was "cancelled". Did I agreed for you to cancel my order, nor I asked for a refund? You had best not thrown away those food hat I had ordered but did not recieved in the trash. After the little run-in accident with the CASHIERE telling me to wait at the curb for an extra 15 minutes, had 7 minutes waiting at the drive through not long enough. McDonalds is the easiest food to purchase. It should also be the easiest food to prepare. The food I purchased today taste as if it was straight from the freezer and barely heated. I know this is fast food but at least try to fool me into thinking its fresh. The pancakes we stiff around the edges which could mean its freezer burnt, over microwaved or just old. This is disgusting. Also my coffee was more like a warm cup of cream. Where's the coffee!!! My advice...keep on driving to another McDonald's or stay home and make your breakfast your way! read more

Another glaring example of the lack of decent customer service in the Fort Meade area. It's hit or miss if they'll get your order right, they're notorious for handing out stale or over salted fries on the regular regardless of the time and it's been more than a few times when a quick drive thru mission was started with a " what do you want" or ended in a very annoyed tone " is that it". It's McDonald's and I get the service isn't what you come for but I expect to atleast be treated like a paying customer and not a stray dog they have to put up with for their 8 hour shift and this is coming from a guy that had his first job at McDonald's. Went to the drive thru ordered a medium smoothie and 4 chicken nuggets she charged me for an extra medium fries and when I said something about it she said "if you have a problem you can take it up with to the window" and I didn't appreciate the attitude and the wait time was not worth it either. also when I was ordering my smoothie I clearly stated that I wanted a medium strawberry banana smoothie and she asked what size and what kind very rudely as well.
