Awesome service from Erica and Ricky! Best Five Guys we've been to, thanks to them. The food is excellent, the shop is ship-shape and the service fast and friendly. Spectacular work. read more

I heard about all they hype, I thought I would give it a try. Went in at 1:00 pm , crowd was light. We ordered for two cheeseburgers, fries and drink. She said that will be $21.40, I could believe it!!! REALLY for burgers and fries. The burger was good, the fries suck! I will stick with In N Out, just as good for away better price. read more

After seeing Five Guys Burgers and Fries popping all over the place, I decided to meet up with one of my friends for a lunch date here. All I have heard about Five Guys is that they're the best burgers around and one of the best burger joints in Fullerton. I beg to differ. The décor was simple though at this particular store it felt a bit too much due to the small space. The bags of fries and boxes of peanuts crowded the inside though I understood it's purpose was to separate the dining area with the line. The outside patio was nice though and it was nice of them to put up the red tent due to the rainy weather we have been having. After ordering the Bacon Cheeseburger, Cajun fries, and a regular drink (totaling to a little over $10) I received a foil wrapped ball and a cup of fries. Upon unwrapping the foil I saw a burger that was already falling apart. The crown of the bun was slipping off the burger, while the meat patty itself was crumbling. Having been working in a fast food joint for the past 2 years, it was quite a disappointment when I can say that our burgers looks a lot better than what was in front of me. Nonetheless I pushed forward and began to chow down on my food. The taste of the burger was alright. I liked how the bacon was crispy but not overcooked but other than that the overall burger had no real taste to it. It was disappointing really. Fortunately my mood lit up a bit with the Cajun fries. They were tasty but definitely not the best Cajun fries I have ever had. They were slightly soggy and it felt like they have been sitting out for a while. Overall, Five Guys Burgers and Fries was okay. Would I come back here for lunch again? Probably, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a burger joint. read more

I think it's totally overrated. I don't see what all the hype is. The only reason I like Five Guys are the toppings they offer (grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, etc) at no extra cost. Complementary shelled peanuts is a nice perk but one in five is stale. In-N-Out is cheaper of the two. Other than that, I don't see what is all the commotion about these burgers. read more

Since the "regular" cheeseburger I ordered last time was monstrous, I decided to go with the "mini" cheeseburger this time. It was just as tasty, although I would ideally prefer an in-between size. :) Customer service was excellent! read more

This is based on my first experience with Five Guys after hearing a LOT of recommendations from many friends and classmates. The burgers are sub-par at best to be honest. At first, i was excited considering the many toppings/ingredients they allowed you to put, which does seem amazing. I chose to add jalepenos, green peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, hot sauce, and grilled onions. when i got the $6.44 hamburger, i was disappointed. the size of the burger was fairly small and they scarcely put the ingredients i chose into it. Yes, it does have 2 patties and granted, they do taste much better than most fast food joints, but I could barely taste anything i put into it besides the lettuce and tomato. i had so few jalapenos and green peppers. All in all, their service is great considering how many burgers they have to make and serve so many people, but the burgers, for their price, is not worth it. You'd be better off going to a gourmet burger restaurant like Red Robins, where infinite fries are included and the burgers are actually worth the $6+. read more

A sloppy, greasy, mess of a burger that falls apart the second you pick it up. Some might see the unlimited free toppings provided as a win, I see it as an admittance of failure to create a tasty, basic burger. As for the French fries - peanut oil soaked & bland. What'll this mistake cost ya? $11. Don't forget to dine-in, you wouldn't want peace & quiet bothering you during your meal, so stay for the constant screaming of the kitchen staff. read more

Five Guys is certainly a good rival to In-N-Out and can see why they have a following. They focus on providing a quality product with their own twists. The decor is slightly retro diner-ish with loud music playing. There are numerous signs with quotes from complimentary reviews that Five Guys has received. I couldn't help but notice all the reviews came from areas in the U.S. that In-N-Out isn't...hmmmm. got peanut allergy? If so, stay far away from Five Guys because as soon as you walk in the door you're greeted with a large self-serve open box of roasted peanuts gratis for all to enjoy, and it seems like nearly everyone takes advantage. For the uninitiated, the little hamburger is a good sized single, and the hamburger is a double. Customization is the name of the game, besides the standard toppings and condiments you can also add lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushroom, jalapenos, green peppers, A1 steak sauce, BBQ sauce, hot sauce, and even extra cheese free of charge! My Bacon Cheeseburger was nicely prepared, hot and juicy, and the bacon was nice and crisp, but while overall it was good, it did not fall into my cravable category. The french fries are a different story; they are VERY good and the portions are huge! I swear there was as much fries in the bottom of the bag as there was in the cup - a regular order is plenty. We liked the Five Guys style fries too, but especially enjoyed the Cajun style fries. On paper, everything pointed that I would love Five Guys, but in reality I'll frequent In-N-Out much more often. It could also be that with all the different condiments, and only two visits under my belt, I haven't found my magical combo. No worries tho, I still see myself coming back because of the fries. read more

I still don't see how Five Guys is supposed to be the East Coast equivalent to In-N-Out? Like, seriously? Are we all eating at the same restaurant here? I'm not saying that the food was BAD. No, on the contrary, I very much appreciated my meal and the complimentary peanuts. And yeah, I admit that I'm a sucker for their very techy soda machine. What's cool about Five Guys is that they won't charge you up the hoo-ha for the amount of toppings you ask for on your burger. But, what's not so cool about Five Guys is that everything is a la carte. EVERYTHING. At the end of it all, I think we paid about $38.00 for 3 Burgers, 3 Fries and 3 Fountain Drinks for our group. A bit too steep for my taste. I would classify Five Guys as "fast food" and for the amount that we spent, you would think that we were at a sit-down restaurant. Come up with Combo Meals, Five Guys and I'll gladly reconsider my review. read more

Red/White color scheme, similar cooking style. How can you NOT compare this place to In-N-Out? Was really looking forward to a nice, juicy burger with tons of flavor and going " all the way" with all the toppings my heart desires. However, that went down the drain once I bit into the burger. Didn't know that that " all the way" was code for lacking flavor or seasoning! The only thing that was seasoned were the cajun fries which I liked. Don't order the plain ones, they taste bland. Ive had fries cooked in peanut oil but it just has a weird aftertaste. The patty was fresh but unseasoned, the mushrooms and onions were sauteed but unseasoned. What is worse than a bad burger is no seasoning! The cool part about the place is the patio with the coverings so you can enjoy the beautiful weather. The staff is nice too but the food needs an upgrade. I ordered the small hamburger and cajun fries. Surprised why they don't offer combos. Close to spending 10 bucks for a drink, burger, fries. Take into consideration that there are college students down the street. Perhaps a burger happy hour? Save your bucks and go to either the Habit Grill or In-N-Out down the street. Call me biased being raised on In-N-Out prior to these other burger establishments but I prefer a nice, greasy, flavorful burger than an unflavored, overpriced one. One word: HYPE! read more

I can't really say I'm much of a fan of this place, knowing that I can consume over 2000 calories in one meal consisting of a giant burger, fries, and a refillable drink. Nevertheless, I had to try! Bacon Cheeseburger with loads of toppings, Cajun fries, and a drink. My first impression... the meat is good. The fries are good, and the drink is just a drink. But really...? It reminds me very much of an IN & OUT burger with extra toppings. Now, I know this is slightly better in quality, but not enough to justify all the extra cost that is put into it. It's probably the best burger though, in fast food that I can think of, since In & Out would've been my choice for best fast food burger prior. However, it's nothing like a Fuddruckers or REAL hamburgers that my friends grill in our backyard grill. Worth the calories? Worth the money? At FIVE GUYS, I struggle to answer these questions. The food is good and filling, but you're gonna be FAT much faster than you'll realize if you eat this every week, or even every month depending on how much of it you can burn. Until I lose a lot more weight and save a lot more money, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon... but if they don't close down, I definitely will come back for a much SMALLER burger. I also have to try their hot dog. read more

I ordered just the cheeseburger by itself. I love all the options you can get on the burger... FOR FREE! I love me some grilled mushrooms and onions on my burger :3 It got very messy, very fast but that's part of the experience (or maybe I'm making that up). As for the fries I tried from a friend, a little too salty for my taste, but other than that, they were well cooked with like the skin on it and such. The price I would say is fair (except for the 60 cents difference between the hamburger and the cheeseburger. 60 cents for a slice of cheese! It wasn't even melted into the burger!). I'll be back when I'm not in an In-N-out kind of mood (I know I shouldn't be comparing like everyone says) :l read more

Had been hearing a bit about this place for months...including the similarities to IN-N-OUT. The other day i finally found myself in a position to compare (plus, i was hungry). First, huge bags of potatoes littered the floor, stacked a few deep for effect like sand bags in a trench war. Nice touch. If a nearby bank robbery goes awry i can dive behind these for safety. The menu is fairly simple and straight-forward: they do burgers, dogs, sandwiches and fries...but NOT shakes. They ALSO have a boatload of stuff you can have on your burger. Including: green or jalapeno peppers, BBQ sauce, A-1 sauce, and hot sauce. However, they DO have free peanuts - like at a baseball game or a sports bar. The thing is: the TASTE. For a fast-food burger, these things ARE a bit better than an In-n-Out (and yes, i'm surprised to find myself admitting that, cuz i consider myself an In-n-Out fan). I wish i could've had a shake with my bacon-cheese burger...but the burger alone with a soda and fries was definitely a hunger-buster. The stuff they put on these burgers (including the mushrooms!), definitely made a believer out of me. ...and the fries! Like Carl's and JitB, they sport the kind with the skin still on. a small 'cup' of fries was overflowing so much, despite having a hunger (having not eaten for over 6-hours), i found i couldn't eat them all (which is probably a good thing for my waistline). They even offer something for the Veg-heads in the crowd: Veggie Sandwich, Cheese Veggie Sandwich, Grilled Cheese. i noticed that the place was very clean and the staff is friendly, helpful and most always smiling. Another thing that is cool: Though they don't do reservations, they DO offer ordering ahead via their website...which for many employees on-the-clock...can save some time during the lunch rush. imho: despite the higher price of the 5-guys burger, i hope you'll find it worth it...especially considering the price of similar burgers at places like: Denny's, Red Robin, Ruby's, etc. like the Germans say: Guten Appetit! read more

I haven't been here since they first opened and last week I was reminded of why. All I ordered was a large drink and a medium cajon fries... Food: The fries weren't great. Half of them were burned and the other half were soggy. "Cajon" must mean more salt with some mediocre spice to it. Customer service: The diet coke from the freestyle machines was empty so I go to the counter to ask if they were out. The guys who were cooking were facing my direction and they were facing a female employee. That girl was the cashier supposedly. As I approached the counter she ducks to the side to sip on a drink she had. She saw me out of the corner of her eye and then SQUEEZED herself even more to the side so that she was basically smashed against the wall. Was she trying to hide from me or something? Luckily one of the guys saw me standing there and offered to help fix the machine. Price: $7! For fries and a drink?!?! I dont see myself coming back here. Mainly because I'm not paying $7 to have a girl go out of her way to avoid helping customers. (But props to the guys who were working, they were cool). read more

This place is "Blah" with a capital "B". Far from worth going out of your way. The music over the intercom was so loud I couldn't hear the teller communicate with me, I had to tip my ear into her and listen very closely. The place had no line but the wait was still about 15 minutes from order to actually pick up my food. And why don't they give out trays? It was all in a paper bag, the burger was thrown in there sideways on the bottom and 20% of the fries weren't even in the cup; spent a considerable time just picking them out. The food itself is ok, but it's far from worth the $9 without a drink. And no, they don't serve Sierra Mist or any other soda that does not have HFCS in it. That was the reason I did not buy a soda, they might want to re-evaluate who they're being supplied by. A bottomless fry with a double-burger that kinda filled me up but not really, honestly the fries bored me halfway through and the burger was just blah. It was definitely not to my expectations, I could have gone for another one. The place also just had this smug feeling to it that you can really only expect from 40-ish middle/upper-class white people when they go out to eat. There's a sign that says "Please do not go outside on the patio with peanuts due to persons with allergies" but people seemed to disregard this - again, most likely due to smug arrogant white people and their attitudes of always needing to have it their way with their sense of entitlement. Far too many conservative white people here and they all have a staring problem. Im serious too, the place had more interesting wallpaper then the customers they were serving. Stick to In-N-Out's 4x4 animal style for less money and a better value, I'll be doing the same. Two stars because I at least didn't get sick from eating there. read more

Just finished my first meal at 5 guys and to be honest I just don't get it. I found myself eating the burger as fast as I can just to stop the mess that was occurring while the burger was falling apart. I ended up using a fork.....a first for me when eating a burger. The service, fries, free peanuts and atmosphere were all pluses. The burger itself was just ok in my book. It didn't have that I gotta have it again taste. Only In n out and brea' s best do that for me. Am I coming back? Nope. read more

I feel this is one of the best hamburger "joints" around. Here you can get a old fashioned burger with our without cheese. The only thing that sets it apart from a truly old fashioned burger is you get two patties instead of one. You get to choose your extras, ie: lettuce, tomato, mushroom, grilled onion, mustard & ketchup. The fries are great, not the hard hallow tubes of potato starch. These are the hand cut types nice and soft on the inside. Plus they have the neatest soda dispenser, it can deliver up to 150 different flavors. It is so cool it has all these different flavors you can add to the standard ones. You can have cherry vanilla diet coke or raspberry sprite and they have the most diet sodas even diet ginger ale. To top it off you can shell and eat all the peanuts you want. I just wish they had one in Honolulu. read more

I should probably read some of the other reviews. Barring anything out of the norm, I don't know why Five Guys would have such low ratings. I get that it's a large chain, but they keep it pretty real. I've been to this place a few times--used to live not far from it. Have never been disappointed. FOOD: The fries are amazing. The burgers are the legit. PRICE: It's a tad pricey for a burger, but there are free peanuts... So take lots of those? read more

Okay, their food is pretty good in my opinion and I think I prefer five guys over in n out. The only reason why I'm giving this a 3/5 and not a 4/5 is because of the price. I think this is a common well-known problem of five guys where their price is just beyond unreasonable. I ordered a 'little cheeseburger' which was honestly a normal sized burger and regular Cajun fries. For just those 2 items it totaled $13!! Insane!! I was going to order large fries but it was I believe around $7 which is unheard of in fast food chained restaurants. Even though the food is good and fresh in terms of it being cooked as you order, it's just not worth the price or at least eating there often. I can see myself maybe getting five guys at most once a month?? Definitely a rare occasion for sure but I would definitely check it out if you're craving a filling burger! Cajun fries are really good as well but on the saltier side! read more

Five Guys - little cheeseburger w/ regular Cajun styled fries $13 - Fast Food Near Me - Fullerton, California

the store we went to is new, on Imperial Hwy in Brea. I did not have the hamburger, because I do not eat meat. I ordered the grilled cheese, which was processed cheese on a hamburger bun. It was terrible. The fries were soggy and inedible. We will never again visit this chain. read more

If you like burgers and fries, you will like this place. Does it taste like In n Out... no. Both are great. I have come to this place in different cities and the consistent flavor is there, volume of food and good service... it's all there. Enjoy. read more

Ok.... So I decided to try this place. The burgers are ok nothing special and the fries are ok as well. Yet I do believe it is over priced $8 and the didn't include a drink. I mean I would easily pay $10 for a combo but not for a fast food place like this.... Plus NO ranch for your fries :( can I also add that the cashier didn't look to friendly as I was ordering. The cook was nice he took my order before I ordered that made my wait shorter. read more

I hate that they wrap their burgers in foil. Instant soggyness, lost major point there. They are so busy that I think that is why there are five pickles and two tomatoes on one side of the burger and nothing on the other. I don't want a bite with pure pickle. Their beef does taste good, but with the soggy buns it just ruins it. Their fries are way too oily, look too brown and not that crispy. The plus is the free toppings, but I hate that if you say "everything" they cashier says "all the way?". Also you can bring your dog on the patio. The line is long but they move quick. I really think they are expanding too quick and will die out after the initial hype, just like Kristy Kreme. So meh I've had better. This was the 2nd time I've had their burgers, I think I am done. read more

I've been on the quest with my BFF for the perfect burger, so I thought I'd give these "guys" a try. I didn't quite know what to expect, but I think I was pleasantly surprised. First: the staff at this location is extremely professional, friendly and accommodating. I can't remember the last time I saw so much team work in a restaurant. You can tell, they really take pride in their work and enjoy their job. Second: The food taste overall was very good. The burger was tasty, they had all my favorite toppings, and sorry to say, the fries had in and out beat. They were probably my favorite aspect of my dining experience. Finally: I appreciate a restaurant that is not stingy with the ketchup or napkins, and the free peanuts are a nice touch. Also liked the selection of Coke products. The only thing preventing me from giving a fifth star was the price. It's a little high for the size of the burger. Overall I'd recommend at least giving this place one try. It may not be your cup of tea, but you never know. read more

Went here for the first time last week and was it a new experience. Free peanuts, although I didn't even need any with the large amount of fries that they serve. The burger was tasty and I loved all of the available toppings they had to choose from. I went at about 3 in the afternoon and even at this time the place was a little crowed so I can't imagine what it would be like during lunch time. While the burgers are a little pricier they are good and a whole lot better than other fast food places like mcdonalds or burger king. This place was good but for me when it comes to burgers I still prefer In N Out. read more

Like every other review on here, I went because of all the hype...Is it really better than In'n'out? I'm gonna go with NO. The burger itself was pretty good, except for the soggy bun. I mean way soggy...There are a decent amount of topping options at no additional cost, which is nice. We got an order of fries, and it was HUGE. I mean one regular order was enough for me and 4 other guys. The texture between fries varied, which almost makes it seem like they might have been frozen. The peanuts are fun, but totally random and kinda unnecessary. When it comes down to it, In'n'out is my number one choice, but I would hit up Five Guys again. read more

Ok, everything about the burger is great! But what is with the soggy bun?!?!? I thought that the first time I tried it, it was a fluke. I want to give a place at least another change, but again! I even tried a plain jane burger with just lettuce and tomatoes to make sure the topics weren't weighing down the bun. Still.... no joy! The Good: Big great quality burger meat Awesome toppings Cooked to perfection Cons: Soggy bun, kills everything Fries, really? Also soggy and not crispy?! read more

I ate here for the first time yesterday and all I can say is... WOW! Sorry to say this, but MOVE OVER In-N-Out. I think I just discovered my new burger fix. I used to hear people brag that at In-N-Out they'll make your burger for you however you want to order it. Well this place is a much better choice for customizable burgers. The standard burger comes with two patties, and you choose what you want them to put on it. They have a list of ingredients to choose from, and you can either have everything or just pick and choose. For my first visit I got a burger with bacon, cheese, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, and barbecue sauce. DELICIOUS! It was juicy and full of flavor. I absolutely loved it. Another thing that took the cake for me was the sweet tea. It's one of the simple things I love the most in this world. Awesome! read more

I love how you can custom make your order online and schedule a time to have it picked up. It saves time when you don't. www.fiveguys.com Their burger has a homemade backyard BBQ grill taste to it which I love the simplicity nature of, and the cajun fries are awesome but I'd get something to drink with it next time. They also have hot dogs and grilled sandwiches if you want to change it up a bit. Their service is fun and friendly. It's not going to win me over from In n' Out Burger but it's amongst one of my favorites fast food places. read more

I've been waiting forever for this place to open. Telling everyone at my church about it and how good it is. And I was not let down, even though my friends are all brain washed by In N Out(so over rated and over played) and weren't open to even kinda liking it, I still loved it. The burgers are so yummy and I love the fact that I can get almost anything I want on it, unlike other places. A friend had a plain hot dog and he said that it was really good. The fries are to die for and the small size is big enough for almot three people to share. And they even have smaller size hamburgers if you're not that hungry. I love the fact that they give you peanuts to eat before you're food is ready and it's fun shelling them and throwing them on the floor. And the place isn't dirty either cause they constanly have someone sweeping and cleaning. Inside there isn't much seating but the patio has plenty of seating and most of it is covered and there is music playing, which is always nice. Bonus you can preorder your meal online and it will be ready when you get there, how cool is that. read more

I don't know what all the hype is. When I walked in this place there were peanuts all over the floor as some type of cool experience but I've seen it before so it was nothing original. I hoped the burgers and fries would be delicious seeing as it was a collaboration between five guys. The burger was bland and tasted like peanut oil. The fries did too. Overall, I didn't like their burgers nor fries. Neither of them were worth it, the price didn't help either. I won't be coming back here ever again and will dissuade friends from even trying this place in the future. read more

Awkward experience & not worth it- When we walked in and approached the register, the cashier walked away & disappeared behind the kitchen door leaving only the guy cooking to help guests. Saying weird things to customers that weren't interested in engaging with him...also making fun of customers. Food was ok but we won't go back. read more

After all the ranting and raving here I am paying $10+ for a burger and fries with the basic mustard and ketchup. I'll give it this though, the fries were good cuz they were cajun. But I was unimpressed by the burger. I could make many mustard and ketchup burgers like this at home if I wanted to. It would be as easy(and way more economical) as buying ground beef in bulk at sams club. In-N-Out is still the best and will continue to be the best and its cheaper. read more

I'm rating this purely based on service. The 3 associates there were more than helpful, extremely attentive, and very genuine. I was actually going to grab lunch next door but I haven't had this in a while so I decided to come here. I'm glad I did and I'm grateful for the great service. If the worker that helped me at the register is reading this, I finished the 4 patties but it was really quite large haha. read more

I went to five guys a couple times to write this review. The core of my review is going to be comparing it to In-N-Out. In-in-out is better. I usually order the Bacon Cheeseburger at 10$ with mushrooms, onions, lettuce, and tomatoes. It's very tasty, and also a huge burger, most definitely heavier on the stomach than in-n-out's double-double with extra everything (also heavier on the wallet, as the double double is less than $4 by itself). Maybe I've grown too used to In-n-out burgers, but i can say with certainty that the TASTE of the Bacon Cheeseburger is better. The star of the show is definitely the meat patty being superior, and the mushrooms are a great touch. Unfortunately, it is not twice-as-good better as to justify the price. The construction of the burger isnt as good, the meat patty is directly above the bread, so the juices quickly sog through and the whole thing becomes a mess...In-n-out corrected this problem by putting the lettuce-tomatoe under the meat patty decades ago. This is something anyone who's ever made burgers at home figures out pretty quickly, so i am suprised by 5guy's chosen inferior methodology. Lastly, the fries. 5guys likes to have different sizes of the same thing cluttering their menus, but I usually order the "regular" size for an outrageous $4. the quantity is actually double in-n-out fries, so its not too bad, but in-n-out wins in quality 100%. 5guys fries are good.... but they're way too heavy, oversalted, and slightly overdone. Just like the burgers, the fries get soggy quickly too. In short, I think that 5guys is way too overpriced, for only a slight improvement in burger meat over in-n-out. It's worth trying once, but no matter what you order here, it's never worth the money when something like in-n-out has broken the fast-food experience down to a perfect science at an insanely affordable price, when 5guys is about as outdated as white supremacy read more

I heard this place wasn't that great so I never tried it until recently. WHAT? What are you people on? I think this place is BOMB.COMzz. You can make your own burger. Basically, you pay for the burger and all the toppings are FREE! FYI, the hamburger comes with JUST the bun and patty, cheeseburger comes with the bun, patty, and cheese. You have to ADD other stuff if you want, which is pretty cool. They have an indoor seating area as well as an outdoor. The fries. OMG the fries.. I got their cajun style.. BOMB. But they seasoned it a little too much. I dont' care. It was yummy! Their regular fries cost the same as cajun fries. I got the regular thinking it wouldn't be that much, but boy, was I wrong! It was a lot! read more

This place was really clean and nice set up, I ordered a little burger which is like a regular sized burger which was alright. I think I prefer in n out more. I don't think the burger here was meaty enough for me. But I'd come again to try something else. I also got the Cajun fries which was very delicious! I'd say the price is a little more than it offers. The service was really friendly especially Derek who seemed a little too hyper haha read more

Five Guys - Very filling - Fast Food Near Me - Fullerton, California

This was my second time going to a Five Guys, was not impressed the first time, I thought I would give it a second chance because people keep talking about it and saying how much better it was than IN N OUT. This place is no IN N OUT, far from it! In fact Carls Jr. has Five Guys beat by leaps and bounds. First I gotta say that Five Guys really has no presentation, its a basic looking place with just red and white, All over the restaurant they have reviews and pictures displayed about how good they are. As for the food, doesn't matter if you dine-in or take out, your meal comes in a brown paper bag. The burger is wrapped in foil and fries come in a cup. The food tasted ok, the burger meat was really good, but thats all the burger had going for it, the bun was starchy and the cheese was just standard american cheese. The fries were ok, made with peanut oil, taste is a little different, but not bad at all. I wouldn't go here again, its way over priced for what it is, and the quality and presentation are bad. I should have gone to the del taco next store and had Two Double Del's for $3.50, would have been a lot more satisfied. IN N OUT still has the greatest burgers out there, the Five Guys should eat there and see how a real burger is made! read more
