This review is LONG overdue for In-N-Out, I have been to over 20 locations and have to say every time they have always delivered above and beyond. These locations are clean, and I mean spotless. You won't go 15 minutes without seeing someone wiping down and cleaning in the lobby, restrooms and patios. The food? You already know it's the best burger in any town you're in. The talent with In-N-Out is the consistency of quality and fresh food time and time again. For this specific location in Placentia, it does not have a drive thru, so parking may be tight but it shouldn't be a problem as the dining room is huge. The people who hate on In-N-Out's fries just don't know how to order them to their preference. We were about to leave since we just wanted to go in and out (no pun intended) because we were in a rush, but decided to just go in and make our to-go order. I think because there wasn't a drive thru, it was not as busy as this place usually gets...which was a huge win for us. Thankfully we were able to find a parking spot right away. This location is right off the freeway so it can get very busy at times. There is a good amount of seating inside and several round concrete tables outside. The parking lot is kind of small and it can be a challenge to find a spot sometimes. People complain that they don't have a drive thru but that is no fault of theirs. When this location was built, the city of Placentia had very strict restrictions and ordinances on drive-thru restaurants. Took an Uber straight from my big homies wedding, still fully suited, to the hallowed ground that is In-N-Out. I'd argue that this is the best way to dig into the fresh never frozen patties, in a full suit after a formal event. It's so cool because the interior is straight out of the 60s... idk. I just feel like a BOSS eating at In-N-Out in a full suit. My girlfriend was an In-N-Out hater, but she is from Florida (smh) and had only eaten it once. I gave her my full spiel of how you need to try this with an open mind and not eat it ready to hate on it. If you get your expectations too high for anything it's going to be a let down, just treat it like any other burger experience (even though it's not). One bite into her double double and she got it. We converted her, even though she said the fries weren't her favorite, but that does seem to be the general consensus. I just think their fries actually taste like potatoes. I mf LOVE them. I demolished my 4x4 (with no cheese because I'm weird) along with my fresh fries, which was the only thing that saved me from the violent hangover the next morning. I recently visited this location and use to frequent it many years ago when they had the brown tile interior and it looked like it used to be a Mexican restaurant. They've since remodeled and added more seating to the dining room. I ordered a number 1 from here and for some reason it seemed like the food looked and tasted better than the drive-thru locations.
