This review is LONG overdue for In-N-Out, I have been to over 20 locations and have to say every time they have always delivered above and beyond. These locations are clean, and I mean spotless. You won't go 15 minutes without seeing someone wiping down and cleaning in the lobby, restrooms and patios. The food? You already know it's the best burger in any town you're in. The talent with In-N-Out is the consistency of quality and fresh food time and time again. For this specific location in Placentia, it does not have a drive thru, so parking may be tight but it shouldn't be a problem as the dining room is huge. This was the first In-N-Out that I've been to that didn't have a drive thru! We were about to leave since we just wanted to go in and out (no pun intended) because we were in a rush, but decided to just go in and make our to-go order. I think because there wasn't a drive thru, it was not as busy as this place usually gets...which was a huge win for us. Thankfully we were able to find a parking spot right away. The lot is a bit smaller compared to other locations. Service was just like any other location. Once in a while I'll get a chocolate shake and they are nice and thick and delicious. The food is always top notch and I have always had a great experience with all the employees. This location is right off the freeway so it can get very busy at times. There is a good amount of seating inside and several round concrete tables outside. The parking lot is kind of small and it can be a challenge to find a spot sometimes. People complain that they don't have a drive thru but that is no fault of theirs. When this location was built, the city of Placentia had very strict restrictions and ordinances on drive-thru restaurants. Took an Uber straight from my big homies wedding, still fully suited, to the hallowed ground that is In-N-Out. I'd argue that this is the best way to dig into the fresh never frozen patties, in a full suit after a formal event. It's so cool because the interior is straight out of the 60s... idk. If you get your expectations too high for anything it's going to be a let down, just treat it like any other burger experience (even though it's not). One bite into her double double and she got it. We converted her, even though she said the fries weren't her favorite, but that does seem to be the general consensus. I just think their fries actually taste like potatoes. I mf LOVE them. I demolished my 4x4 (with no cheese because I'm weird) along with my fresh fries, which was the only thing that saved me from the violent hangover the next morning. I visited here at midnight on March 3, 2026. I was greeted by Jordan with a very nice smile. I swiped my card a few times only to be declined. I checked my balance and it was fine. I asked her to try and charge me for just one burger. She said "no, that's ok. Hold on for just a second. " She went to the back and returned with her own bank card. I said " no, don't do that!!" We ordered one double double with extra cheese, grilled onion, and no sauce, sub ketchup and mustard, one double double animal style with whole grilled onions, and one single cheeseburger with grilled onion. We also ordered one cheese fries, one animal style fries, and one regular fries. My brother was given a single patty instead of a double. He took the burger back to the counter and since they were so busy, it took awhile to get a new one. The new one had chopped onions, instead of the whole grilled onion he requested.
