The menu is bright and colorful and really adds a nice ascetic. The inside of this location is very clean. They have booth and table dining, including a large booth for a larger family. The service was great. I asked for a towel to wipe our table and the cashier responded with that's not your job, it's ours and came and cleaned the table. She was an absolute sweetheart. I ended up ordering the Chicken Club. It's a grilled chicken breast sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese , and guacamole. My problem with the sandwich is it tastes under seasoned. I came in around 8:39 p.m. with my boyfriend, ready to order dinner after a long day of moving. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked up to the register, the cashier made us feel like taking our order was an inconvenience. While we were waiting for our food, we tried to brush it off, but when our order was brought out, she literally dropped the tray onto my boyfriend's hand instead of handing it to him. If someone doesn't want to provide customer service, it shows, and unfortunately it affected our entire experience. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with blue cheese dressing and it was so hearty it ate like an entree. All the ingredients were all fresh. Vibrant tomatoes, crispy green lettuce, nice bright orange cheddar, and perfectly diced chicken. It's that fast food processed type chicken too which I low key kinda like lmao. Anyway, just letting the people know, especially those of us who are suffering (dieting) because I just had my first meal of the day at 3:30 (I don't do breakfast) and I am absolutely stuffed it hurts to move and breathe. I will not be eating the rest of the day for sure. Maybe a protein shake and some slices of deli turkey at most. Only complaint I'd have is the nutritional guide/information, but this is an issue with Farmer Boys as a company, NOT this location specifically. When looking at their menu online, the interactive menu shows 660 calories for the grilled chicken salad with blue cheese dressing selected. However, if you go to the nutritional guide PDF, the salad alone is 470 calories without dressing. Blue cheese dressing adds an additional 310 calories for a total of 780. Not sure why there's such a large discrepancy between the two, but for those of us who track our calories and macros, it would be nice if they could address the issue so we can keep track of our caloric intake accurately. Today I stopped by for a salad. I decided on the Farmer's Cobb and it was really good but not really a portion; I think I took half home. The price for the salad is around $13 but if I was with my wife, it would have been just about a perfect portion for the both of us. Unfortunately, my wife rarely picks Farmer Boys as one of the "approved restaurant" lists [don't ask me why] when we go out together. The salad was incredibly well prepared with bacon chunks, tomatoes, avocado and while they only gave me one container of Blue Cheese dressing, they were generous to give me a second with my To Go container. The service is typically good and you can earn points towards free food if you use their app. They also give a generous Bday meal. There was no one ahead of us in line and we were able to place our order at the counter immediately. We were a little familiar with the menu. We've only tried their breakfast items so far. This was just our second time at a Farmer Boy's. First time was in Vegas. Our food was brought to our table in a timely manner. I had the 2-Egg Breakfast Sandwich (bacon)... very good sammie. Hubby got his favorite... a breakfast burrito. Also ordered a side of hashbrown which I shouldn't have because my breakfast sandwich was surprisingly filing. This Farmer Boys location is located where Placentia Ave and W Crowther Ave meet, at the entrance to Sam's Club. I had passed by this location for awhile now, but did not stop by until this past week. I just so happened to have a reward and a coupon and this Farmer Boys was conveniently located! One thing though, the doors to this location are heavy. I had parked near the side entrance, but did not pull enough so I thought the door was locked. I ended up walking to the front entrance, but left through the side entrance. I was greeted immediately and the employees provided great service! Breakfast Burrito (Sausage) Fried Zucchini (4 pcs) If you order the Breakfast Burrito, make sure they provide pico de gallo. They had only included hot taco sauce, so I had to ask if I could get some pico de gallo. My wife got her cheeseburger and some humongous onion rings on the side and they were great tasting and obviously to us not over cooked in old vegetables oil. Albeit the items are relatively expensive compared to other fast food joints, the quality of the food and service is noticeable and much better. I love the zucchini fries. An order of these are 4 pieces, where a whole zucchini is quartered. The batter is light, but heavy enough to have a crunch without overpowering the natural umami of the zucchini. Also, be careful while eating because every time I order these, they are fresh, so the zucchini juice is hot. The salads are great too and are in a large quantity that will make you satisfied and full. The fries are always crispy.
