I ordered a grilled chicken salad with blue cheese dressing and it was so hearty it ate like an entree. All the ingredients were all fresh. Vibrant tomatoes, crispy green lettuce, nice bright orange cheddar, and perfectly diced chicken. It's that fast food processed type chicken too which I low key kinda like lmao. Anyway, just letting the people know, especially those of us who are suffering (dieting) because I just had my first meal of the day at 3:30 (I don't do breakfast) and I am absolutely stuffed it hurts to move and breathe. I will not be eating the rest of the day for sure. Maybe a protein shake and some slices of deli turkey at most. Only complaint I'd have is the nutritional guide/information, but this is an issue with Farmer Boys as a company, NOT this location specifically. When looking at their menu online, the interactive menu shows 660 calories for the grilled chicken salad with blue cheese dressing selected. However, if you go to the nutritional guide PDF, the salad alone is 470 calories without dressing. Blue cheese dressing adds an additional 310 calories for a total of 780. Not sure why there's such a large discrepancy between the two, but for those of us who track our calories and macros, it would be nice if they could address the issue so we can keep track of our caloric intake accurately. Couldn't stop eating them. Tried fish and chips, the fish was OK, not good but not bad. Not the hot crispy you'd hope for, and the taste inside was meh, even with the tartar sauce, didn't cover that up - was watery as opposed to thick and with strong taste. Everything nowdays is very expensive, $10 for a sandwhich is pretty hard. The staff gets the job done, tons of space, lots of tables, and very straight forward. When entering the establishment it is well-lit. I was greeted immediately by a smiling warm face and asked if they could be of service to me. I ordered and was given my receipt and was told it would take a few minutes. I walked and took a seat admiring the calmness and cleanliness of the restaurant. I was in the drive-through which took a very long time. There's always a long wait. I feel like they're very short on stuff, but I still support them because we enjoy their food. As I waited at the window, I wasn't acknowledged that I was there in the drive-thru Fernanda came to collect my money I gave her my phone to scan for my rewards which it states on it that you will scan at the kiosk or register in the store. She then tells me oh you do that afterwards. OK she gives me the receipt and then tells me that I can scan the receipt. I put the receipt down and they gave me a bag that was one too small for my order packed stuffed bowl with two burgers, a zucchini, two ranch dressing all the way to the top. I went to drive away and she goes damn girl I stopped my vehicle. I told her she can take the food back and refund me my money. I get to choose where I spend my money and rude absolutely horrible. An order of these are 4 pieces, where a whole zucchini is quartered. The batter is light, but heavy enough to have a crunch without overpowering the natural umami of the zucchini. Also, be careful while eating because every time I order these, they are fresh, so the zucchini juice is hot. Oh yum here for dinner me and the wife we are doing Christmas shopping near by and came into one of our favorite places Farmer Boys. My wife got her cheeseburger and some humongous onion rings on the side and they were great tasting and obviously to us not over cooked in old vegetables oil.
