The young man who took our order behind counter was not too friendly and looks like he'd rather be somewhere else but there. We ordered the prime rib sandwich with a Caesar salad, as well as the avocado toast with a side potato cake. The quality of the food fell far below expectations: - The Caesar salad had a runny watered down dressing and was missing Parmesan cheese shavings. - The prime rib sandwich was very small, containing only two thin, flimsy slices of beef. - The potato cake tasted stale, as if it had been reheated multiple times. Additionally, the atmosphere was disrupted by a female staff member clearing nearby tables who was recklessly throwing dishes into a bin. The loud crashing sounds she made while busing the tables were so irritatingly loud that my friend and I had to shout to hear each other. The only positive aspect of our visit was the fireplace, which was warm and comforting. However, based on the food quality and poor customer service, we were extremely disappointed with our experience. BOTTOM LINE: a hard no on this LM. I am just surprised this location has not closed based on low ratings it continues to receive. A takeover by a new management maybe its salvation. Or go somewhere else.

Once I entered, the first things I noticed were that every seat was filled, photography adorned the walls, and photographic equipment was thoughtfully placed throughout as decor. What struck me next was the absence of that warm coffee aroma that usually hangs heavy in the air in your typical community-centric coffee shops. Honestly, I didn't think much of it until... But before I get to that, let me back up. I was warmly greeted by a young lady who directed me to where I could place my order. "A caramel macchiato," I said with great anticipation. "We prepare the traditional macchiato here," she replied. "Please explain?" Her explanation, which consisted of a shot of espresso in a small glass or cup, followed by a small amount of steamed milk, gave me pause. What I quickly realized was that my understanding of coffee recipes was largely built around the Starbucks menu, which is another reason why I'm migrating away from the Little Green Mermaid.
