So excited for this new location near our house! Wait was relatively short and there was ample parking. I love that you can order very healthy options or load up on all the carbs; the menu is very diverse! I personally went with the skillet with a side of sourdough bread that had fresh strawberry preserves, yummy. You can request a to go cup if their fresh brewed tea and payment is completed at the front so you don't have to wait for the busy servers. My only complaint was this location didn't have shades along the south side and we baked while attempting to enjoy our meal. The server said they were on order, but I think they should avoid those tables until installed because the Sun was brutal. read more

Mac, you take first watch, then you get some rest. - Predator (1987) The newest First Watch just opened a few weeks ago, so we thought that we'd give it a try. They open at 0700, so we hit it early, given that things can get pretty wild after church and with our winter visitor population. We were seated right away. I'll add that folks after us weren't so lucky. Even with open tables and the bar, parties were stacked up in the entry and were given a 20-40 minute wait time. The restaurant is airy and bright. New and shiny! There was a large bar on the south side of the restaurant, which was a little weird. They didn't allow anyone to sit there, and they're a brunchery, so they only have light brunchy cocktails. Our waiter was very friendly and polite, but not the greatest waiter. Our friends were getting their beverages as we sat down, and he asked about our beverage choice, but was dust in the wind before we could answer. We later ordered our food, and it took a minute...or three...or repeating our selections (even though we made no requests nor substitutions). The food came quickly and was presented nicely. I had the protein wrap, which was egg whites, turkey, spinach, Crimini mushrooms and mozzarella in a sun-dried tomato-basil tortilla. Served with fresh fruit and a side of pico de gallo. There was zero cheese...and also zero flavor to this wrap. There was one quarter of one mushroom. I had to douse the wrap in chalula for any flavor. Mr. P had oatmeal, which came with a blueberry muffin. The muffin was dry and not even served warmed, nor with butter. My friend had a plain medium egg (diets are the devil!), and you would have thought she asked for the moon. The hot tea selection was good, and the iced tea was fresh. So fresh, in fact, that the server didn't add enough iced to really make it an iced tea. She got a side cup of ice. Our empty plates and glasses were not cleared, so at one point, my friend accidentally knocked over her [kind of iced] tea. We scrambled (pun partially intended) to sop it up with the napkins we had. We notified our server, and he said "I saw that", before walking away and never coming back. I caught the attention of another server, who graciously brought some additional napkins. First Watch is a nice new place in our area, where eateries are sparse. But don't go there expecting a flavor experience or anything more than sub-par sustenance and service, and very high prices. read more

Certain things set the tone for a less than satisfactory experience. Like when there are multiple open tables, wait staff standing around gabbing, and several parties waiting 20+ minutes to be seated. Then they seat parties of two at tables suited for 4 while parties of 4 waited outside. Dumb! Our waitress was pleasant and timely. We ordered simple breakfast items that took the kitchen 25 minutes to make. My wife ordered eggs over easy. She got sunny side up and almost raw. She didn't want to send them back because of how long it took to get our food. I had lemon ricotta pancakes. They were huge but burned on the underside and quite dry. This was my first time at First Watch. My review is based purely on this one location. It wasn't special, and I won't be back. My takeaway is the wait is extreme even though it wasn't very busy. The food is fine, but nothing special. The prices are not cheap. It's just not worth the time it takes. We were told it would be a 45-minute wait. This surprised me because there were so many empty tables. There were at least 4-5 servers, I can't imagine they are happy only serving 3-4 tables at a time. One server kept coming up to the hostess to ask for more tables to serve. They have you pay at the counter after you eat so the server didn't even have to handle payment. They must not make a lot of tips this way. I saw people leaving in droves and wondered if the owner knows how much money they are leaving on the table. I doubt these customers will be back. Snooze A.M., Cracker Barrel, I.H.O.P and even Waffle House are far more efficient. I don't think this place will be popular for long if something doesn't change. I don't know why places think its chic to have extreme wait times by artificially creating them. We also noticed the bussers are super slow and wander around aimlessly. There is a lot of socializing going on in the kitchen as well. This place is in need of better management. They aren't short staffed, so the long waits can't really be excused. Once we were seated, we were given coffee quickly, but the food took 30 minutes to come out. They said it was due to the high quantities of online orders, but we only saw 2 orders picked up while we were waiting 30 minutes in the lobby. This really isn't a good excuse. The food was fine, nothing special. I had the eggs benedict. The ham was just thin sliced deli ham. It wasn't really what I call a "classic" eggs benedict. My wife had the French toast ala cart and that was fine as well. Nothing to write home about. The syrup was hot but was very weak tasting and overly sugary. The total was around $32. Bottom line is this place just isn't worth the wait. It's too much of your morning to spend 1 hour and 30 minutes for average food. There are too many other better options out there. read more

Here for the soft opening! They did an amazing job. Cute farmhouse decor, bar and patio! Had the special which was a ham and gruyere with a side salad. Table also had pancakes, waffles and French toast and they were all amazing. Over easy egg was perfectly runny. We can't wait for this to be our new brunch spot! read more

Update: before the business commented on here I had emailed them and left a message and then when they sent me this email, I emailed this email and it's been three weeks and still nothing. I don't recommend this restaurant at all. Everyone I have told our story to has been shocked that a restaurant would treat their customers this way. We have already found a better breakfast place to eat at who can actually get their food out hot and the food is better too This is mainly directed at the Manager Debbie. We have always enjoyed our experience here on the exception we get cold food sometimes. It happens at every restaurant and we don't get upset or anything but this time when we went, I ordered the same power wrap I always get and normally it is super hot but this time it wasn't. So I sent it back and Debbie brought the new one out to me explaining how she tested the temperature on it and we need to find a different First Watch to eat at because we weren't a good fit for here. I was absolutely shocked. We told her we wanted the bill and she said don't worry. She came back a few minutes later and told us she called corporate and explained the situation. What situation? She said we come in all the time and send food back which isn't true. We only send food back when it's cold. Believe me I'm not going to waste food and I don't want to wait for it to be remade. I'm usually very hungry at the time so I'm not wanting to wait. This was our happy place we came to relax and enjoy good food but I see that is not going to be the case anymore. I brought my husband here today for Father's Day (we are here now at 11:25 and have been since 9:20am). I am still waiting on the correct meal, but I'll get back to that. When we first arrived, there was a wait, which was to be expected and totally fine. We put our name on the list and we were told that we were 18th in line and that it would be about 45 minutes. When 45 minutes came and went, I checked in to see where we were on the list and was told that we were number 17. I was shocked and asked how we were 17 in line when we were 18 upon our arrival. The host informed me that it's because people who sign up and check in online move ahead of those who check in in person. I was pretty upset to hear this since we had been waiting for so long. He told us he could seat us outside. It's a hot day here today and currently 98 degrees, but we agreed. We ordered our food only to wait over an hour to get it and when we did, my order came out completely wrong (mind you, I just saw the table next to us send back their plates because something was wrong with them as well). So I'm back to waiting. The server just brought me the correct order, was extremely nice about it, and I'm not being charged for my food, but this an entire experience has been terrible. The seating system here should really be rethought and the kitchen probably needs some additional training to ensure items come out correct the first time, especially when folks are waiting so long and in the heat! I will likely not be back anytime soon and do not recommend this location. As an update as I eat: I have a gluten allergy and asked for no granola (which I've ordered at another location). While eating my meal, there were random bits of granola mixed in, which is not standard. read more

First and last time at First Watch! The menu looked really good with a variety of different items. Ordered a sandwich from their website. I figured it would be easier to order on the website and just go pick it up. Their website does not offer any way to customize your order, but there is a box that says "special instructions." In the "special instructions" box I typed in no bacon and no mayonnaise. I went to go pick up the order and the order was already sitting on the takeout rack by the door. I was impressed with how fast my order was ready. The bag was sealed with a sticker, so you couldn't just open the bag real quick and check the order. Took the bag home, opened up my sandwich to find meat, cheese, and tomato. No avocado! The whole point of why I ordered this sandwich was for the avocado! Nowhere in my special instructions did I even type anything about avocado! I was so disappointed. The sticker on the bag indicated that Faith checked my order. Well, apparently Faith can't read or comprehend my order! If Faith had really checked the order, why am I missing a key ingredient to my sandwich that was $12.29. I tried calling the location, but every time I called, nobody would pick up the phone. I was not going to drive all the way back to the location, nor did I have time, as I had other plans. I was hoping they could just refund me or give me store credit. Tried to contact corporate through their website - no way to contact them! You click on the contact button on the website and it just tells you to call the location! I already tried and they don't answer! I am really disgusted by this location.
