All First Watch locations deliver consistent quality, but I decided to finally leave a review on their seasonal item: shrimp and grits. I appreciated that it was not especially cheesy. Additionally, the shrimp was cooked perfectly and had a delicious deep seafood flavor (almost like crab boil.) The bell peppers and tomatoes added the perfect amount of acidity, and the sausages weren't too salty and overbearing. And the bread is perfectly toasted-- crispy yet still chewy. Overall a great dish! The drinks are also quite good at this location. I always get the cold brew, but their regular hot coffee is great as well. We also got asked to try the new watermelon drink and it was very good. I go to this location a lot, the service always rocks. Always quick, pleasant, and attentive. There is usually a wait because senior citizens mob this place.

Snuck in right before they closed for the day. Everything was quick and tasty. Can't wait to come back.

These are two salads that we ordered to go. We like to order salads but when we order other Foods we get a decent quantity of ingredients and really would love to have some cheese

Got up early, craving Avocado Toast, so I came here after looking at the website. It was just as good and tasty as it looked online! Ian was my waiter and he was outstanding! I explained that I couldn't have anything citrus due to allergies and he was so kind and understanding! He checked on me and made sure I had everything I needed and my food was just how I liked it, plus gave me the BEST blackberry iced tea and even set me up with one to go when I was ready to go! SUPER service, and even for being as busy as the restaurant was, the ambiance was just right. It was not loud. It was very enjoyable! This was my second time dining here, this time by myself, and the first time was with my aunt and uncle when they were visiting in March from Los Angeles. They loved this place as well and thanked me for the suggestion and recommendation to meet me here for breakfast! I will definitely come back and try the lunch menu!

I'd been meaning to try this location after seeing a few of my fellow Yelper friends review this place. Just like they said, this place did not disappoint! Seasoned well and cooked perfectly to order for both the over easy eggs and medium rare steak. Breakfast perfection! - Patty Melt: My boyfriend said it was delicious, and the small bite I tried was great. You can tell they season their burger patties. We arrived for breakfast and the place was packed. Even so, we were seated within a few minutes. Menus were brought for us to peruse. For a starter we both had a large glass of cranberry juice. $3. Emphasis should be on the word large, as in most places you would get a small glass for the same price. Companion ordered the "Fresh Start", which is a big bowl of oatmeal which comes with cranberries, raisins, walnuts, brown sugar, and milk ($6). Companion was unable to finish it all. For myself, I had the Hawaiian omelet which had ham, bacon, pineapple, and mozzarella cheese. While I must admit I have never before had an omelet with these ingredients, it was delicious and big. I could not finish it all. The coffee was bottomless and the service was excellent. Unlike many other places that serve breakfast, we were made to feel truly at home, with friendly people all around. We will be going back again and again, possibly for lunch next time. This is a new favorite place to eat for us. Sanitation was good and food came out quickly. 5 stars.

We had to wait a bit to get seated. I decided to try their biscuit and gravy with bacon and 2 eggs over easy. The bacon was kinda chewy with unrendered fat which was a turnoff. Even bigger disappointment was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy tasted so odd and off putting and the biscuits were huge but very dry and fell apart. Had a bite of hubby's French toast and it was the worst I've ever had. If they weren't so busy I probably would have mentioned something to the server but really wasn't in the mood. Still love the theme of this restaurant but the food was a major letdown today. Service was not the greatest probably due to how busy it was.

We arrived on a Sunday at their new location, which is super nice, VW bus and all. :) While relatively small, it is many times larger than their old location around the corner. You can sit inside at a table, at the bar, or at one of the few patio tables on a nice day. We sat inside for this first visit, and a friendly server took our order. We chose to order from the breakfast menu, and I ordered The Camper: Crispy double-dipped fried chicken thigh smothered in savory gravy and topped with cheese, three slices of Nueske's peppered bacon, and an over-easy egg, served on a housemade butter biscuit. My wife ordered the CSA Scramble: Farm-fresh veggies from Crooked Sky Farms CSA basket scrambled with three eggs, served with fruit, sliced tomato, and 9-grain toast. Needless to say, we were both impressed. The Camper was absolutely perfect. I would not change a thing. The gravy was just special, and there was so much food, I took some home. We eat at hole in the walls and expensive places. But often we look at each other and choose between Dennys or VI, and are happy! Today, May 16th at VI on Signal Butte - rough start by a waitress who told both of us "I need to know your pie order. NOW." Resturant was not busy. Not at all. It was 4:15 maybe. Slow on a SUNDAY post-winter visitor rush on a late Spring day. Rushed. I pointed to my 3-6pm dinner choice of TURKEY. I showed her. "Just as it comes. She repeated it back to me as she typed in into her handheld computer. Chicken fried steak arrived. And a sausage looking oval patty shape of stuffing. Two long finger prints in it. I wondered if she picked up my loose stuffing as it's normally served here in America, or rather the chef did this to all who request it. I told my husband to look for spit in his food. My hubby? Nicest guy ever. But when he knows I didn't want and could not manage fried beef..but I had fasted 21 hours. I needed sliced fresh high protein meat. Wait another 15 min or eat the mess on my plate? I told her I'd eat it. Truly don't like complaining let alone confrontation with a Russian native with a sharp attitude because of a rough life. My nephew is from there so I GET the trauma. and I though I know I can usually switch my palate. But not for this plate of food. I felt sick looking at it. "Just eat the 'steak' I picked the stuffing apart - could not eat more than a thimble. Gummy gluten salty yuck was inedible. The FINGERPRINTS! 2 Fingertips past knuckles imprinted. I left it and hope someone there stopped to think "Why?" Our Waitress tried to make up by suddendly being nice when she walked behind me with a second piece of pie ...to go home. Thanked me for being agreeable or something. I nodded. I remember this saying if you l oh someone's attention the first three seconds and first three steps you'll spend the next 30 min trying to make them believe you're hiring. It's true. I was too tired this week to be extremely understanding but I'm never rude. I told my hubby let's both let this one go. And I said "But we won't return here." He nodded in agreement. Because I see people come in and sit down I see how tired they are and make quick calls to be able to turn their day around if only for a short time before they return home....to being a caregiver or to grieve a loss. Sad dinner and maybe she had a tough week too. But. But times 3 over.
