I went to First Watch Sunday morning a little before 10. Used the feature in yelp to join the waitlist and didn't even wait 5 minutes after checking in with the hostess before our table was ready. The server had a fresh pot of coffee in hand when he came to introduce himself. When I eagerly told him I did indeed want coffee, he left the whole pot for me! The mug on the table was big, and the coffee was great. We were obviously off to a good start. The menu is a bit long, with a lot of good options (quite a few interesting vegetarian options too). I decided on the market skillet hash - described as potatoes, vegetables, and cheese with eggs on top. The carrot cake pancake seemed too good to pass up, so I ordered one of those as well. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was delicious. I don't know what bread they use for their toast, but it was thick and seedy, and the jam that came with it was fantastic. The skillet was tasty and cheesy. The pancake was delicious as well, with coconut, pecans, and raisins complimenting the carrot cake flavor. The presentation was an added bonus, as the plates were pretty, the fruit/jam in cute little metal bowls, etc. In the end our breakfast was a tiny bit pricey; two entrees, a pancake, and coffee came to about $30. That being said, I can't really complain as it was all delicious and the service was great. Another thing - the decor and atmosphere is perfect here. Love this location that is in a cute mall in Dublin. Everything on thr menu that I've tried was yummy, including their pancakes, french toast, trifactor, and bowls. The only downside is that they don't offer a variety of coffee menu like latte. I would recommend checking in online to reserve your place in line if you plan on visiting on a weekend! read more

We've visited this location a few times. Usually on weekdays. We never had a wait at that time. But we recently went on a weekend day and the wait was long. My best advice is to go early or late. We went around 11am and waited close to 30-35 mins Staff was friendly, location is clean& well kept. Love that they have complimentary coffee in the waiting area. That's a huge plus. Food is always delicious, no complaints there. However I do wish they gave more bacon w/ a meal. 2 slices isn't enough for an adult especially one w/ a hefty appetite. Can you please make it 3 or 4 slices. Haha! Also I wanna add that I don't like pancakes. I never make, buy or eat them at home unless it's for someone else. We went to First Watch for the first time, using gift cards that had been given to us. Nearly every table was occupied (which was a good sign), and our wait was less than 5 minutes for a table for three. My first impression was that this is a restaurant with a focus on healthy, fresh breakfast options. I ordered the Belgian waffle, which came with fresh maple syrup and blueberry sauce on the side. I also ordered a scrambled egg with home fries (pan fried potatoes). The food was well-seasoned and delicious. We also had freshly squeezed orange juice (no pulp) and two of the signature drinks, one with kale and the other with ginger, beet juice and turmeric. We don't have First Watch in VA, and every time I'm in OH, I seem to eat breakfast there. They have a large menu and lots of updated items, many with a Southwest/Mexican twist. Many with avocado. Honestly, it's just okay. I've certainly had better. I probably enjoy IHOP better, but I always come back. So does everyone else, apparently because this place stays busy. The side sausages are excellent and we usually order one for the table. There is a long line on the weekend mornings, but it moves fast and we are usually seated within 10-15 mins. I'm not a big coffee drinker so can't comment on that, but the teas they have are quite ordinary. The service is good, generally pleasant and efficient. The prices are reasonable. We have been going here for years and this time was a horrible experience. We checked in at 10:30 and were told it would be 15-20 minutes until seated. It was 40 minutes and the another 40 before our half our food came out. By the time the remaining food came out the others were done eating. They are having a ton of to go orders being done and we were told its an overwhelming amount so the people in the restaurant are waiting ridiculous amounts of time. Not sure how the waitresses are even making a living! Until they figure out how to "manage " better we will not be back! You can't blame this one on covid. Control your restaurant!!!! read more

First Watch has great food and offers prompt service. The Dublin location recently freshened up the look of the space and it had made a big difference! The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that the check-in/wait to be seated/pay experience is absolutely horrible. All of these things are done in the same space, in the smallest front entry way right off the kitchen. The design is the worst I can possibly imagine. It is the worst way to get greeted into a restaurant and makes your initial experiences incredibly unpleasant... and then of course, you have to end your experience the exact same way. While I appreciate the recent remodel effort, I really wish they would have invested the money in fixing this part of the experience instead. read more
