I enjoy this breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurant but most often come for breakfast. The eggs Benedict and hashbrown casserole were delicious and my husband got fajita omelette with sourdough toast. They have friendly and casual service! The table space can be a bit tight if you order a lot of food but outdoor seating is a nice supplement. We have come for the house margaritas before they come in a fun schooner style large glass at very reasonable prices! This little diner is small, but efficient! They are a well oiled machine getting guests in and out. They have a patio area that is completely enclosed which gives a little more space. There is bar top seating too. I ordered the breakfast bowl and it was a lot of food. My husband got the biscuits and gravy, with 4 eggs, and a pancake on the side. Whenever we were done with a plate, it would be picked up by whichever staff was walking by. The waiting space is the only downfall. There is really only space for two to three people to wait for a table inside, comfortably. The staff have a waiting list that asks for phone number. We were called when our table was ready. Once seated, our table was right next to the door and there was someone constantly squeezing in the waiting space about 2 inches from the back of my chair. This was kind of annoying while trying to enjoy brunch. I think the staff should encourage people to wait outside or in their car and assure them they will be called to lessen the crowded entry space/first table. read more

Great casual diner in the area. Breakfast all day and really good Mexican Food. Fast service and plenty of options. Given it is small and often crowded with a wait, we frequently get carryout. Super fast and easy. Personally love their breakfast and their Country Fried Steak (Shredded potatoes, bacon, two eggs over easy, and a biscuit). Other options we enjoy regularly include Bacon and Cheese Omelet , Carne Asada Burrito and their Fried Chicken Salad. All get a thumbs up from us. First time customer as I was looking for breakfast places in Powell. I'll say I usually go to the local chains in Dublin, but this place was great. Service is awesome. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Like going to a family or friends place. Other local spots are so busy the staff sometimes are on the rude side. Food was great. Ordered through door dash and this is what we received. We ordered two of the birria tacos and almost all of them had very little meat and majority cheese and onions. Half of the meat in each taco was straight fat. Unbelievable that someone would serve this. If they didn't want to take the order before they closed then just don't accept the order. With so many months of breakfasts made at home or ordered via DoorDash the couple of times that we've gone to Anne's Kitchen has been a welcomed change. Is this the best breakfast in Columbus, likely not but it is comforting, consistent, and pretty tasty. About a month ago I woke up and as I usually do on Saturday mornings I started reading what was available to be delivered to my door. Good thing I didn't see anything that struck a chord because that led me to start searching Yelp for what I was really craving. I wanted chipped beef and gravy (aka SOS). Like hardcore wanted it. Yeah it's something that I am fully capable of making myself, if I had wanted to go pick up some dried beef slices at the store, but I did not want to cook. In looking at the few places that (might) have the dish I was craving I chose Anne's (mostly because I'd bookmarked it a couple of years ago but had yet to find myself in Powell during breakfast). So I woke the wife and told her we were going to get breakfast. We decided to dine outside, the wait was about 10 minutes for a table but we were glad to wait. Anne's was busy, so busy in fact that they had to stop taking to-go/take out orders while we were there. Order placed time to plates on the table did take a while but hey, it was a busy beautiful Saturday. On a huge plus our coffee cups never ran dry! The folks working that we encountered were all pleasant despite being so busy. The chipped beef: Y'ALL. SERIOUSLY. I have not had chipped beef made by anyone but myself since relocating to CBus from GSO NC years ago. It was so good that I started tearing up just a little. In the gravy there was just the right hint of onions, the toast was a perfect thickness and ever so toasted, and it hit the spot. Just a warning, it's a fair amount of food. Two slices of nicely toasted bread topped with gravy, flanked by two eggs your way, and potatoes (hash brown patties, homestyle potatoes, or hash brown casserole). The first time we visited I had to get a to go box. The next time I went I asked for no eggs so that it was a more manageable amount of food to consume. One downside for this coffee snob is that the coffee is Folgers but it was freshly made with a high turnover so it's not just sitting around in the pot. read more

So this is a very cozy Diner with approximately 10 tables. It's always busy so be prepared but as usual this place is worth the wait. The Chicken and waffles is prepared with chicken beast and was very delicious (not dry). It comes with two waffles and we went with a side of fried potatoes. Next was the breakfast bowl, if your hungry this is for you. It has two biscuits cut in half on the bottom. Then your choice of meat, potatoes, and how you want your eggs. Not done yet then smothered in sausage gravy and cheddar cheese. This breakfast is so big and had huge flavors. The menu has several things to choose from, so I don't think you will have problems finding something delicious. The hours are 7am to @2pm Tuesday thru Sunday, so don't wait get down there and have that big breakfast. read more

This is a basic diner that serves typical breakfast foods like waffles, pancakes, and Omelettes. We chose this place for its outdoor, covered seating because they were forecasting rain and we only eat outside. I had the Eggs Benedict and my husband had the chocolate chip pancakes. Both of our meals were good, typical diner meals. I particularly liked that we could pay using a QR code on our receipt. As more and more restaurants use this I realize how much time it takes to wait for your bill, wait for someone to pick up your credit card, etc. Let the staff concentrate on serving food. The servers were also very good about refilling our water and coffee even after we had paid and while we were still chatting. read more

I asked three times for my tomato juice, and I still never received a tomato juice. I had asked for hashbrowns, and they came after my meal. The food was actually very good. The carne asada fries were ok..they need something else..maybe onions..definitely jalapeños...they were just fries, steak and cheese/sauce/sour cream. I'm used to more "stuff" in my carne asada fries..but they were good..we just asked for a side of jalapeños and put them on. Definitely everything is made to order so don't expect to get your food in a few minutes. Not a lot of staff..very small dining area, but service was perfect.
