Initially I waited about 10 minutes for someone to come and assist me but once she did the service was good. I was not impressed with the food. I had the Bama White Wings but I couldn't taste the sauce because it was overpowered by the burnt grill taste. The same applies to the Crispy Brussels as well. The Chocolate Torte was too sweet and thick that I had to use a knife to cut it in order to eat it. Overall I was not impressed with the food. If I tried them again it would be during happy hour and I would get the burger and a cocktail.

We ordered the Apple Butter chicken sandwich with coleslaw and the Black Garlic Burger with fries. The Apple Butter chicken sandwich was very juicy. The bun to chicken ratio was good. The coleslaw was not too creamy and just had the right amount of vinegar. Black Garlic Chicken was the better of the two. It was full of umami flavor with a juicy patty. The fries were thick and crispy. The seasoning on them put it over the top. Not that I live super far from this restaurant, but for the fries to stay crispy speaks volumes. Can't wait to come dine in at Atlas Tavern.

We knew it would be busy, but was not ready to be waiting more than an hour between first course and second course! Several things did not go well. We had to wait an extra 10-15 minutes post our reservation time for the table to be ready. I found the portion sizes to be on the small side. I ordered the butter chicken pasta, which was really saucy so it was a shame to waste the remaining sauce once the pasta was finished. They give no complimentary bread, which would have been a nice addition to the pasta. The flavor of the butter chicken pasta and the hot chipotle chicken dip were good, but portion could have been larger for the price. Since the wait was extremely long between courses, I was offered a free refill for my mocktail, but when I got the check I was charged for it. I did not bring it up because after more than two hours of dining in, I was ready for it to be over. The mango creme brulee was not cool enough and so it did not set properly. The tiramisu tres leches was just okay, and they had ran out of the brownie dessert completely. I don't see myself coming back with so many nice Italian restaurants available in the city.

The bar staff are pretty unfriendly and weirdly enough, there is no standing room inside to grab a drink while you wait for a table. Also the music is strange. The hostess was very soft spoken, and didn't seem to be enthused to be there. She reluctantly let 2 of us sit and the other 2 stand. Maybe there was some issue that day that we don't know about? The bar area inside is relatively small, which I think adds an extra layer of coziness. The bartenders didn't acknowledge us at all, and when we finally we able to grab their attention, the female bartender didn't say so much of a hi, but said well did you talk to the hostess. We said yes, she reluctantly made our drinks. The cocktails are gorgeous. But we wanted some shots of dark rum. I kid you not, it was like they were refusing to give us these. It took 20 minutes -we counted- to get this. The food- I grew up in Hawaii, and this by no means is Hawaiian food. With that said, I loved the loaded fries. Everything else, hush puppies, coconut shrimp was just ok. The lobster rangoons were just terrible, they were overwhelmingly lemon-y. My sister had the burger and she said it was really good. This visit, I met up with a friend who lives in Old Worthington, and naturally this was our choice. There are lots of good food options around, but Worthington Tavern has a great patio, good service, delicious food, and is a solid choice. I made a reservation via OpenTable. Definitely recommended during lunch and dinner rushed. My friend got caught up with a work emergency and was running late, but there was no issue with me hanging out until she arrived. We hadn't caught up in a year or so, so it was great to sit outside on the patio and enjoy lunch and catch up. I had the Mezzaluna Ravioli with seasonal mushrooms, shallot, thyme, brie cream sauce, and fresh grated Parmesan. Delicious! Recommend this completely and might be my favorite dish I have had here. My friend had the Baby Iceberg Wedge and added grilled salmon. Kudos to our server, Emily. Service is always good here but she was exceptional and added to the visit. 5 stars this visit! There are three different areas to sit: the back patio, inside, or the front patio. All three areas are beautiful, and the overall atmosphere was such a chill vibe. Our waitress was a little slow, and it was sometimes difficult to get water refills, but it seemed like she was one of the only servers working, so I completely understood. My friend and I split everything we ordered. We started with the smoked chicken wings with blue cheese and celery. The wings were delicious, although the celery came in very small, thin pieces. I would have preferred actual celery sticks. We also ordered the Honey Brussels Sprouts, which were my favorite dish of the night. They were so good and definitely something I would order again. For pizza, we got the Caprese Pizza with homemade pizza sauce, fresh-sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, and balsamic glaze. It was absolutely delicious and tasted very fresh. We made our reservation for 7:30 so we could stay and listen to the live acoustic guitar player at 9:30. That ended up being a little late for us, so we moved inside to watch him perform. It was a great way to end the night. Overall, I really enjoyed my first experience at Worthington Tavern. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed, and it would be a great place to come with a group of friends. I will definitely be back!
