Wow, this restaurant is awesome! Stopped by with my son recently while in Columbus, and I am so glad we stopped! The wait staff was great, very attentive but not too much if you know what I mean. I think we were there for about an hour total, I had my drink refilled twice, they brought us more chips once, and my son liked his rice so much he ordered again, and the staff was all over it! I had the burrito diablo, and I was surprised that it actually had some heat to it! I am used to places saying something is spicy and that not being the case. It was nicely spiced though, not too hot. The burrito itself was covered in cheese sauce, it came with marinated chicken, and was served with rice and beans. The rice was good, as I mentioned my kid ordered extra, but for me, the beans were great. I don't know what made them so good, but there were really good. The chicken in the burrito was perfect, nice and tender and full of flavor. We also had a side of queso, that was very good as well. My only regret is that we don't live closer, or this place would go in the regular rotation for sure! read more

We went here based on a friend's recommendation. The restaurant has a Polaris Parkway address but is barely visible from Polaris Parkway. It is in the row of shops and restaurants directly BEHIND the Krispy Kreme location. It is best accessed from Gemini Parkway. The decor is much nicer than your typical Mexican restaurant and offers a very nice dining experience. Being my first time here, I ordered one of their specials - a sampler platter with a burrito, taco and other items. My wife went for her favorite - a chimichanga, The food was excellent/delicious. The service was great. The prices were reasonable. We'll definitely be back. In fact, I've already booked a reservation to bring my Dine-Out group here in November. read more

Stopped in for dinner Sunday evening. We didn't realize it's a branch from the Fiesta Del Rio in Johnstown which we love. The interior is beautiful. With sugar skulls on the lights above and giant colorful suns adorn the walls. Very bright and inviting. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and seated right away. We were well taken care of. From our drinks to our meals. Everything was on point. My tacos were so good and his was just as well. I think we were given good portions for the price too. We took home leftovers. This place is just like Johnstown. Only plus this place has on them is that they are closer to our house. Lol.. Keep up the great job!! We will be back!!! read more

How does a Mexican restaurant serve room temperature beans, rice, and enchiladas, yet tell me to be careful of the hot plate? We like Mexican food, eat it regularly, this was our first stop here. I don't want to be the "bad review" but this was a disappointment, and that's mild. it was around 5pm, we were probably the first people in for an early dinner. They weren't rushed, yet food came flying out of the kitchen. I got the special meal with an enchilada, tamale, chile relleno, taco. The taco seemed ok, the chile relleno was warm but full of seeds. The rest of the food was room temp at best, as was my wife's vegetarian burritos. Beans and rice were dry, both in the burrito and on the plate. Five minutes after our food arrived the waitress asked how it was and we told her. She got someone who offered to make it again. If the person who made it couldn't see the cheese they sprinkled on top wasn't melted the first time, I had little faith it would be any better, plus I've been told you don't ever send food back or get it remade in most restaurants. We didn't. We ate a little of it, paid, left, and would never go back. We were toxic on the way out, plates cleared, check given, no "sorry" or "have a nice night". Maybe not their best effort, $50 wasted? I guess the margaritas was "ok" according to my wife, the models on draft was cold, so that's something? read more

This place is DELICIOUS we got seat right away and were given chips and salsa within 2 minutes. Ordered a small queso and it was great the sweet teas were a little rough but that's okay! He both ordered the chicken quesadilla lunch special, it came out within 5 minutes of us ordering!! It was HOT and VERY YUMMY!!! Went to Fiesta Del Rio for the first time for a team work lunch. Food was really good. I had steak fajita and a side of guacamole. Guac was very fresh. Restaurant is decorated in typical Mexican restaurant decor with some day of the dead type paintings on the wall. Service is the of opportunity for this place. Popped in for drinks on girls night after dining at a different restaurant nearby. We were sat immediately and served chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and warm, which I love. The salsa was also fresh but more on the tomato-y side, so I added some habanero hot sauce and it did the trick. I perused the food options but since we had already eaten I didn't order, they had a nice variety and many options sounded good. The drinks were pretty solid, we tried pitchers of a couple different flavored margaritas. Usually I'm against pitchers because they tend to get watered down but at fiesta del rio, I have to say they were decently strong and not too sweet. Although we only ordered drinks we still received excellent service. Our waiter continued to check in on us and even refilled the chips and salsa. I'm definitely interested in visiting again to try more of the menu as it smelled delicious and everything that came out of the kitchen looked wonderful! read more

Was craving Mexican, and there is not a lot of options around this area, but found this little hidden gem! Used to be another place but changed, never tried the old place so can't compare. Service was very friendly and very fast! Food was good, my only suggestion would be that everything needed more flavor, or seasonings.
