We went on a weeknight and there weren't that many people inside. Once we entered the restaurant, we waited by the host stand for about 10 minutes. The only person we see that is working is a lady behind the bar. She saw that we are standing at the host stand but did not say anything to us. Just ignored us. After about 10 minutes I went to the back to speak to the lady behind the bar to see if they were providing any service in the restaurant. I was about to leave by this point. However, soon as I went to the back, another women came out of the kitchen and told us to have a seat anywhere we like, she was the server and the host. Our server was really sweet and explained the menu to us and gave us recommendation. We ordered the Chicken Tinga, Birria toca and the Carne Asada taco. We also ordered the Chicken Nachos that came with street corn from the kids menu. I did not like the Birria toco at all. Part of the taco was burnt and it was just very greasy. The Carne Asada taco was good. But the Chicken Tinga was the best! Very flavorful. I could eat that again and again. As per the chicken nachos, it was really good. It's a big portion for being a kids meal and the corn that came with the meal was really good. We also got the margarita, which was good, but it tasted more like a lemonade then a margarita. Very disappointing since I didn't order a lemonade but a margarita. Food here is decent but the service is very poor!

Being from across town, and having been to other LCs around town, we were excited to check out this location. Upon arrival, one thing we immediately noticed was that there were no visible signs of the restaurant outside (at least from the parking lot), and even as we entered, we didn't actually see a "Local Cantina" sign until after we were seated. There was nobody at the host station, though, and we waited several minutes before we saw a restaurant staff, Sid. Sid was having to take care of hostess duty and server duty of the entire restaurant. While she was doing an amazing job at both, it was quite unfortunate on part of the management to not staff the restaurant appropriately, and particularly during happy hour. Once we were seated, Sid took great care of us. She was patient with explaining the menu, all the while having to take care of all the tables and also greeting and seating new guests. We ordered a few different things - house margarita, a Chicken Tinga taco, a Carne Asada taco, a Birria taco, Chicken Nachos from the kids' menu, and a Chicken Chimichanga. The Chicken Nachos come with a side, and we picked the Street Corn. Aside from the birria taco, which was super greasy, everything was delicious. The kids' chicken nacho was also a decent portion size. To complement all of this food, the unlimited chips and salsa station was a nice touch. Overall, good food and good service. However, management/ownership needs to support their employees and staff this location appropriately.

First visit to this Local Cantina and will be back. Love that it is in the Trolley District along side the East Marketing. I really had no idea it was back there as I primarily to into the East Market main building but saw this on yelp and decided to give it a try. Pros: good service (really nice server), other staff helps out when busy, delicious food with good options, great location and the decor was fun and festive. Plenty available free parking in the area. Cons: missed the five star mark due to slowness of our server and that another employee grabbed our cards for processing. We sat there a while after we ate waiting for our server. Slacking on the drink refills. Also scrap chips for the longest time in the self serve chip bar. Food: We started with Chips & Salsa, + Queso ($8). I ordered three soft tacos: --Bánh mì ($5) - Al pastor, pickled veggies, cucumber, cilantro, with a spicy aioli. --Nashville hot chicken ($5) - fried chicken strips, a chipotle lime ranch & slaw with dill pickles. --An Americano ($4.50 + $1.50, Weezy Style) - with ground beef, lettuce, cheese, pico, & sour cream. The up-charge Weezy Style was so worth it and made the Americano my favorite as it was both a soft flour & a hard corn shell with queso & guac between the shells. My partner has the Chimichanga ($12) - shreeded chicken, refried beans, shredded cheese , deep fried with queso, chimchurri, and lettuce, pico, and sour cream on the side. This location is about 1 1/2 from me and is closer than the Short North restaurant. The ease of parking and the vibe of this location definitely makes it a preferable option. Will be back and next time I am going with the Chicken Chimichanga.

The food was ok. You don't get chips when you are seated. Well at least we didn't. Bathrooms are clean. The atmosphere and decor is very nice. Both indoors and outdoors are nice. Service is very good. You don't get rice and beans with your burritos. It was just ok.

Came here for the yelp event a couple weeks ago and knew I had to come back! The restaurant alone is wonderful, much larger and more bar style seating than any of the other Local's. The food was better than I've had from any other Local as well. The guacamole was seasoned so well, and all of the tacos were made perfectly and full of flavor. The service is a bit confusing- it seems that the bar tenders are responsible for all of the tables, so they are often slower to get to you. Overall a wonderful restaurant and bar and my favorite location out of the other Local Cantinas

Local Cantina has always been one the best spots to get a taco. The trolly district is a super cute area and this new location fits perfect there! Lora is room inside and out. I sat at the bar and it was very clean and nice. The bartenders were very sweet and asking if everything was good. Great service and great yelp event! A free taco and local marg.

Food was on the cold side , so that was a bit disappointing, flavor was great. I had the chicken burrito as recommend by our server and consider it a good recommendation . I loved the chips and salsa being self serve ! Salsa was a tad spicy for my taste, but great flavor and it grew on me each bite. I had the ride my mustache marg and it was average for a small $8. Really enjoyed the ambiance . Our serve could've been more attentive , especially for as it was a slow Thursday night . Will give it another shot for sure !

I sit at the bar and I'm greeted by something I've never had ever...chips served with 2 red salsas, a verde salsa and bean dip! Usually you just get chips, a small bowl and a carafe of salsa, help yourself. This set the tone that this would be different than usual. I ordered steak fajita nachos and a Modelo Negra. I powered thru the chips and bean dip like it was my job. And it didn't disappoint. Really fresh and flavorful. Nachos are nachos, right? Wrong. How they are assembled has everything to do with their mouth feel as they cool down. I've had nachos that come out looking amazing but as they cool, turn into a disappointing chuck of chips held together by shredded cheese cement. These stayed loose with crunchy bites of peppers and onions, and the cheese sauce coated instead of becoming cement-like. I always order the same thing when trying a New Mexican spot. If the nachos are good, chances are everything is good! So I'll keep the almost 5 Star steak going. I agree, some of the best Mexican food in Columbus.

Ricardo, a waiter at Cazuela's Mexican Cantina in Reynoldsburg, had finished serving a table, expecting the usual--a tip, a simple acknowledgment of his hard work. Instead, he received a hateful message scrawled on the receipt, the kind that cuts deeper than words should. Ricardo works at Cazuela's only on Sundays, a second job to help make ends meet. So today, in between my OCIA responsibilities, I decided to stop by--to meet him, to shake his hand, and to remind him that there are far more good people in this world than the ones who spew hate. As we talked, I saw a man who carries himself with quiet dignity, someone who simply wants to work hard and provide for his family. I shared with him that I, too, know what it feels like to be told to "go back to your country," even though, like him, I am an American. I told him about my childhood, standing in front of my family's Crestview Market, hearing the ugly chants from passing cars--some driven by kids I went to school with. But today wasn't just about reliving painful memories; it was about something greater--the power of community, of kindness that drowns out cruelty. When I arrived at Cazuela's, I wasn't alone. Others had also come to show their support, to stand with Ricardo. He told me the outpouring of kindness had been overwhelming, and I was relieved to hear it. Before I left, I handed him my WARM card and told him if he ever needed help, he could call me. Because no one should feel alone in moments like these. And, by the way, if you ever stop by Cazuela's, their enchiladas and Mexican rice are fantastic. The chips and salsa? Fresh and addictive. And my server, Isabel--attentive, kind, and everything a great waitress should be. Some people choose to spread hate. But today, I saw so many more people choosing love. And thats what matters.
