So their menu had a lot of options! We wanted the Barria tacos and the dipping sauce and shredded meat in this and omgggg it was so delicious! There was a bar and TVs it looked like a sports bar and there was outside patio and everything was clean! The restrooms was nice and clean!

Lauren was so wonderful. Got to us right away after waiting in the lobby for 15 minutes for a table. Not bad wait for a Friday night at 6:30. Staff at the door was very friendly and kept us up to date on when we would be seated. Go for the Azteca drink. Made with mezcal and is reallllly tasty. Tonight's dinner was Lauren's suggestion of the Pollo Al la Playa. Really great taste as more than I could eat on one sitting. Plus I needed another Azteca. We will be back and will ask for a table in her section.

So as I was having dinner tonight, I looked around and realized that the restrauteur at Azteca Mexican Grill had decorated a significant portion of the seating area with photos and accompanying biographical sketches of Mexican-American women, each who are extremely strong, positive role models. Pioneers & leaders in their respective fields of work, activists, & philanthropists. Great human beings. I think this is an absolutely fantastic & uplifting message of inclusion to put forth in the community. Well done Azteca Mexican Grill! As for the food it was fantastic! The aromas of spices was outstanding. I selected the Texas Fajitas - which were juicy and flavorfully prepared, AND there was plenty to take home and augment my breakfast or lunch tomorrow! The portion was reasonably priced. As I looked around to the 3 large tables my group occupied, I noted that the variety of food selected was varied and looked to also be well prepared. I heard no complaints and only saw smiles from our large party of 18!!! The restaurant was tidy, appeared to have a well stocked bar area and a small but nice patio in the front for outside dining. Staff were friendly and attentive, with the ordering process for our large group being efficient. The food arrived without to much of a wait time. Quite a few other tables were also taken, so it appears to be a busy and popular place to eat - at least on an early Thursday evening. I was impressed and quite happy with the very positive messaging of the decor. I'd definitely like to return again some time!

Carnita was really flavorful and a big plate. Fajita Hawaiian was also very flavorful. Great presentation and also customer service. Food was prepared and delivered quickly.

Wow! Brunch at Azteca was an unexpected treat! When we walked in, we weren't sure if there was an event because it looked so fancy! The buffet was filled with various breakfast casseroles with a Mexican flair. Egg dishes with chorizo, seasoned potatoes, and a Mexican lasagna were among our favorites. It was on the expensive side ($25pp I think) but well worth it. Pricing for the buffet is on a little specials placard on the table.

This place is a hidden gem in Powell! Their portion sizes are great, and i think everything they have on the menu are all pretty tasty too. Friendly service, and the inside looks nice, looks like they will have a patio during summer time too. I would def come back again

Terrible food honestly. It's not authentic Mexican food. It's the blandest "Mexican" food I've had.

I was early enough for happy hour and had a wonderful Cucumber Gimlet. The service was excellent. I ordered the House Chopped Salad, Lake Erie Walleye, and Lemon Blueberry Panna Cotta. The salad tasted really good and fresh. The Walleye too. I liked the fennel salad with cilantro lime rice. I ate half to take some home and not be too full for dessert. The panna cotta was good, mostly because of the topping. It is not something I would order again, being kind of bland, but to no fault of the kitchen. I'm not a custard-y kind of gal, but wanted to try it. I would definitely come back here for another meal.

Everyone from the hostess to our server was very friendly and nice. They have a full bar and a decent selection of beers. My wife and I decided to share their whipped ricotta appetizer and their French onion burger. The appetizer came with thinly cut crusted baguette. The ricotta cheese was mixed with some strawberry flavor. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred it to be thicker in constituency. The burger and fries came out perfectly cut into half portions for each of us, which was a really nice touch. We had asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare and I think it came out more like a medium well. The patty itself was a bit dry. This may be a one off issue and we hope to return to try some other dishes.

Our drink orders were taken and questions answered. The appetizers were all so good. Bread service was warm and fresh, bruschetta was prepared well and was a good amount of food per order. The pretzel rolls were a big hit as well. Salty but still soft. While relaxing the kids got chilly and Kyle offered them blankets which was a really nice touch. Then came the meal. The kids ordered playbread pizzas (sauce was a little spicy), Mac and cheese (which was devoured), and chicken tenders (good amount for a kids meal!). Adults had the sweet potato pasta (delish! And had a little kick), salmon (which they raved about how flaky and well cooked it way), baked cod (flavorful and prepared well), fried cod (nice and flaky, great batter!), and lemon chicken (chicken was a little dry but overall delicious). The potatoes that came with many meals were crispy and soft, perfectly seasoned. This was a really good meal, and we will definitely be back when in town!

Every time I come here, I eat something different and it seems that the bar is set pretty high, you can actually tell the managers and owners are fully invested in making this business successful. Please make sure the highest standard quality is gonna be here forever because I'll be eating at this place for every normal day or special occasion. The restaurant is bright, welcoming and very clean We were seated in a side room with the bar, a large projection TV screen with the volume on MAXIMUM and two smaller TVs advertising menu items. Those TVs featured some seriously delicious looking items! Service was ok. Drink refills were not offered and I needed one. We both ordered lunch specials advertised for $10.99 but billed at $11.99. Hubs ordered the lunch chicken bowl with rice, black beans, grilled chicken and corn. The corn was served refrigerator cold. The rest of the meal was hot. Overall the food lacked seasoning. I started with a cheese empanada. Expertly made and fried with goody cheese inside. The empanada was served with a dmall side of green sauce that I thought was cilantro based. I ordered the lunch Pabellon Bowl with pork, white rice, black beans and a sweet plaintain Everything on my plate was served hot but also without seasoning making it bland. I used the empanada sauce to add some flavor to the pork and rice. In summary, I wanted to love this restaurant the advrtised images on 2 TVs are gorgeous but the food was bland. The projection TV volume made conversation difficult and service could have been more attentive. This was our first expusure to Venezuelan food and probably our last. I still stand by the fantastic empanada. I would return for that alone.
