I can't comment on the food, because after a 40 minute wait we still had 7 parties in front of us despite the fact that we were told upon arrival that the wait time would be only 30 minutes. People leaving complained that the food took forever to arrive. read more

Update on my review! I went this morning and food again was excellent and my experience was that all staff have been well trained as the entire place was up & running smoothly & quickly. read more

Food is amazing!!! Would give 5 plus plus stars for the food only. Host did a very diligent job seating, being cheerful and organizing. Wait staff needs some training. If you order a "shareable" and 2 entrees- bring the shareable when it is ready. Didn't think I needed to specify that but saw it sitting ready for a while and they brought it with first entree and second entree was 8 minutes later. Also if you bring a shareable and no entree for me, I need a small plate so I am not eating directly from the shared plate. I thought this was all serving 101. If the food is the wait then get your cadence down of stopping by table to fill in drinks, just checking in, the standard things. Wait staff alone would get 3 stars. Courteous enough but amateur. read more

Near the Mall of Georgia, trendy, tasty, but expect to wait as it is popular. The sunrise smoothie is tasty-I leave out the beet juice. The chicken chimichurri bowl is my favorite but the omelets have been great too. read more

The food is wonderful. The problem lies in the design of the restaurant. It is incredibly small for the amount of people who absolutely flood this restaurant. You can expect a long wait time (particularly on weekends) if you do not join the waitlist early. I go here quite regularly and have consistently ran into these problems, which is no fault of the employees. The parking is probably the worst part; it is extremely cramped and the parking lot has to be shared with the Dunkin Donuts which is already bustling with people each morning as well as this place. You'll either have to park in the gravel lot or keep circling around until a spot opens up. The Discount Tire was so tired of people parking in their lot that they keep cones up due to this restaurant. Again, the food is absolutely wonderful and the general aesthetic of the restaurant is great. Plan in advance if your family wants to come here! read more

I have food sensitivities and they could accommodate them more than any place I have tried. Gluten Free Egg Free and Dairy Free! Plus what I have eaten is delicious. Today I am having the Oatmeal! I suggest you download the app so you don't have to wait forever to be seated on the weekends. read more

This First Watch really needs help. A few weeks ago, I ordered them through door dash and got the Power Breakfast Quinoa bowl. It arrived with no sausage in it - the only meat in the dish and there was not a single piece of sausage. I called the restaurant and the manager apologized and gave me a free entree next time I was in the restaurant. A few days later, my boyfriend ordered through Door Dash, and they completely forgot his muffin. The next time, we decided to go in person to get the free entree I was promised. The hostess said it would just be a few minutes (didn't give us an estimate). After waiting close to 40 minutes, we were seated. We ordered right away, but didn't receive our food for an hour! The waitress was great and very apologetic; she said there was a very large to-go order backing up the kitchen. However, the final straw for me was when I ordered Door Dash this morning, and I was enjoying my blueberry muffin (or what was supposed to be a blueberry muffin). There was ONE lonely blueberry at the bottom of my muffin. I thought maybe they gave me a different kind, but nope. It didn't taste like anything else, just like cake with one blueberry. I know places are struggling with Covid and 2020 is a weird year, but this First Watch location needs to get it together. Every other location I have been to has been awesome. Hope they get it right soon. read more

This place is so good! Kids pancakes are huge and so good. The chickichanga is delicious. I love the atmosphere and great customer service. I tried it a few months ago and we go at least once a month. read more

Three of us dined here today around 2:00. There were only a handful of people there. The coffee was good but all of our food arrived cold. I mean not even warm. The waitress did not return to the table at all. This was a big disappointment. read more

Not good. First we were seated directly under a vent with freezing cold air blowing on us. This is ok they aloud me to move tables. 15 minutes later and I have to flag down a random server just to get coffee. He finds our server who tells us she was in the cooler and stuck. Funny I saw her at another table 5 minutes prior to this statement. Anyway, 15 minutes later our food comes and the greens have no dressing, the omelet, cold. In 19 years of marriage I have never sent food back and we eat at restaurants all the time. Another 20 minutes goes by and I get a hot omelet with no cheese (my wife was done by now and her eggs were cold and stale). During all this time our server acts concerned but it's obviously fake. We run in to this a lot because it's just the two of us but that should not matter, I always tip 20-25 percent at least. This was a poor experience that I will not repeat. read more

First, download the app so you can "virtually" wait in line. We were looking for a new breakfast place. We made the mistake of coming here on a Saturday morning. Our wait time was stated as 30-40 minutes, but that time came and went. We stayed because with this kinda wait either the food is worth it or the service stinks. While we were waiting, we sampled the cucumber/lemon infused water and coffee. Unfortunately, they only had Splenda and sweet n low for the coffee, neither of which my husband will use. If you want cage free eggs or something with avocado, you are in luck. Service was on the slow side Food was alright. Bottom line is I will only come back if I'm meeting friends read more

It's my first time going here after a friend recommended it to me. Cute place, service was great as well as the food and drinks. Lots of healthy options, however It would be great if there were more vegan options. Definitely coming back again! read more

First let me say, I commend any eatery that puts its ingredients first and offers healthy options since these are the places I seek out, that's when I don't mind spending $10-15 on a breakfast. BUT if your customer service does not match the cost of your food, nope... I'm happy to take my money elsewhere and let everyone know my experience there. When your "NEW" to an area, or "NOW OPEN", you should go the extra mile to knock it out of the park! Not this location! I've been to FW in Jacksonville FL, Port St Lucie FL, Stuart FL and now Buford GA, don't think I'll be back to this location unless the staff is better educated on customer service. Let's start with the APP, an APP is no good unless it works and you use it. I "got in line" at 9:54am, I then headed over to the store. In getting there to "check in" the host at the desk says I'm not in line but he will add me to the list and it's a 45-60 min wait. So I ask, what good is the app if I "got in line 30 min ago? He says he didn't know and that we would have a 45-60 min wait. Wrong answer to a customer! I don't care how busy you are. Then 40 min later I go and ask again... this time it's been 2 hours of wait. I say "listen, 2 hours is unacceptable". I show the text I got at 9:54am when I "got in line" and it was 11:50am, it was only at that time did we get seated. Then we sat at the table with no acknowledgement or drinks for 25 min, a waiter walks over asking if we would like coffee, not even introducing himself as our waiter, we had to ask "at you our waiter?" Now, the food was good as always, but, we couldn't stir our coffee cause we had no silverware, coffee was warm and not hot by the time I drake mine because I had no spoon. I asked for more cream (only had 3 at my table) twice, and never got until I asked a lady delivering our food to the table (50 min after we ordered). Needless to say, Father's Day was spent just trying to get a decent meal out. Then, upon checking out, the lady says "I know you had a long wait so I took $2 off your bill". I'm sorry, what? $2? First of all, I didn't ask, it was offered, I wasn't even going to ask. I just wanted to get the heck out of there. Don't insult my intellect by offering me $2 off on a $50 bill. That's just a slap in the face after waiting 2 hours for a table coupled with a host who could care less. Come on First Watch, I know you can do better. I should also say, they really underestimated the clientele that eat out in this area, this location is half the size as others, way too small for a First Watch, it's total claustrophobia waiting for a table. But again, my positive is that the food was great, only reason I didn't walk out. read more

Having looked at their menu beforehand and reading some of their good reviews, I went into this restaurant with nothing but excitement, and I left with only disappointment. I ordered the breakfast tacos and they gave me three half filled tacos that looked like a SINGLE egg was split amongst them. Not only was there not much of anything in the tacos, but they were also cold. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will not be eating here again. If possible, would give it A NO STAR RATING. read more

This was our first time going to this First Watch and we wished we wouldn't have. The potato's were raw in the middle, our eggs were over cooked and the chicken sausage was terrible. This best thing was the toast. I would not recommend this place. read more

The food here was wonderful the first time I visited here, but not very good today. Came here for Sunday breakfast knowing there would be a wait. That's fine. I work in the restaurant industry, so I'm pretty understanding. But to watch multiple parties who came in after us be seated one after another was questionable. I was also following the wait on the app. For ten minutes it told me I had one party in front of me and I continued to watch three more parties be sat before us. I went and asked the host about it out of curiosity and he responded "well I don't know what your phone is doing because I'm just following the system, so don't talk to me about what I'm doing". Oh and it would have been nice to know about the first come first serve seating. And after waiting our food came out cold. Not very impressed. read more

The food is great, the people are great, but the wait is long - so we discovered the "no wait" app, or there's a long table in the front by the door, first come....(although hostess never told us on any visits, I overheard it, after a poor old couple had been waiting, and couldn't wait any longer and left - hostess should especially let people know when there are empty seats). Only real complaint is we've bought First Watch cards, and several times their internet was down, so they couldn't honor it (When that happened at Zaxby's, but gave me the 20% discount I would have had with the gift card). In addition, the man at the register always gets our gift card right, but the hostess with glasses and long hair - she's amazingly helpful, but screwed up the bill and had us sign 2 receipts -- one for the $25 gift card and one for credit card for the balance, but she used up the gift card, tossed it, then charged $25 on our credit card too! We had to contact the manager, but he said he would issue a credit. Even if he does, I won't alter the review because of gift card issues in general. But for food -- it's excellent, don't hesitate! read more

long Que for a table then long Que to pay. service was poor. had to ask the waitress to clean the dirty table. several empty tables yet we were still told a ten min wait. don't sit at the community table unless you want everyone coming in and out to shove against your chair , which was very uncomfortable. Wait staff were unattractive and the food took a long time. when i got my avocado toast the poached eggs were swimming in water so the tiny tiny but of toast was soggy. not worth the $10 for that dish! wasn't impressed and i had high hopes for this place! read more

I have visited several First Watch locations but this one is not up to par. I was very disappointed to in both the service and the food. It was not crowded at all but after being seated it took 15 minutes for the staff to decide who would service my table. In addition to that, they had seated another table after me and waited on them immediately. Next, I ordered grits with my traditional meal but sent them back because they were lumpy and tasted like the bottom of the pot. The server stated they were fresh but took them back only to return with the same reheated, lumpy, tasteless bowl of grits. Here is the deal breaker for me. If you serve me toast with butter that won't melt, it's a wrap!!!!!! Finally the same server was at the cash register when I was paying my bill. He asked me how was everything and while I didn't say horrible, I indicated I was not satisfied. He never asked what was I dissatisfied with nor what could they have done differently to ensure a pleasant experience. Of course, he wouldn't since he served me and had many opportunities to make my experience better. I'm done!!! read more

it's okay i didn't come here to eat breakfast at all... nope i'll just wait in the restaurant until it's almost dinner time for my food, thanks read more

Food was great... my issue was my server, Rachel. She is by far the worst server I've ever had and probably one of the worst people I've ever encountered. We walked into the restaurant at 2:00 to eat. We are well aware of when the restaurant closes and we planned on being in an out in time. She greeted us with attitude and made sure to say "um, y'all know we close in 30 minutes?" And then brought us to her table. She gave attitude the entire time and never brought our drinks. She eventually brought out our food and we had to ask for the drinks from another server. Not only was she a terrible server... but she was a nightmare to the other employees. She was scolding them and making them do all of the work while she went to the back to flirt with one of the men working. We had to ask another server for our check and I made sure to tell the manager who checked us out about our experience. We said that she belonged at Waffle House with her service skills. We will be back because of the food... but I refuse to sit with that woman again. I don't understand how she even keeps this job. read more
