Just started a new job down the street and have had quite a time trying all the new spots nearby. After seeing the reviews, this was an obvious next stop. The parking lot was full so I decided to just pop in the drive thru. The good: very authentic. Extremely hot. By the time I got back to the office I had to let it sit for several minutes before I could eat it. The good parts were amazing. Extra teriyaki sauce on the side is a must. The less-than-desirable: the chicken does have a lot of questionable pieces. My fellow chicken-sensitive people know what I'm talking about. I ordered extra chicken and it didn't really seem like much. Next time I go I'll have to get the regular because I feel like I was shorted. I love broccoli but I do wish the array of vegetables was more diverse. It was 95% broccoli Overall, I'll be back but not as much as I thought I'd want to be. The place is small but charming and clean, the food presentation is very nice and appetizing when I walked in to look at other tables. The menu is extensive but not over whelming and all very reasonably priced! The Gyoza was tasty, a little oily but still quite good. The sushi rolls are very big! I got the crunchie roll & it came out fresh, crunchy and also very tasty! The guy next to me also kept mumbling "so good" l. The low rating was for this entree- it was not fresh and unable to eat. Had no flavor. The rest of the items were okay. Tempura sweet potatoes and broccoli has two pieces of each, greasy not tempuray. 3 pieces of rolls and gozya were okay. You know how the saying goes: Don't judge a book by its cover. This is absolutely the case with this spot. I was skeptical at first and my co-worker who recommended this spot also let us know it isn't the prettiest of places but that the food is consistently good. We came for lunch and were in and out in about 30 minutes. The restaurant itself is fairly small but luckily when we arrived it wasn't very busy at all. The menu has a variety of Asian options including hibachi, fried rice, bento boxes, and sushi rolls. I went with the rib eye teriyaki beef bento box which also comes with 4 pieces of California roll, 3 pieces of gyoza, and tempura vegetables. The bento boxes don't come with rice so I ordered a side of steamed rice. This was definitely a filling meal and perfect for larger appetites. Overall, this is a pretty good spot for a quick lunch with a variety of Asian options. Don't expect 5 star service here but the food is legit. read more

I was looking for some quick and cheap sushi one night after work, and I came across this place on yelp. It's close to my home so I figured I could give it a shot. I ordered the steak hibachi, the teriyaki salmon bento box, the spider roll, and a yellow tail roll. The steak hibachi was cooked very well! The steak was very juicy, it was not tender, and cut up into very good-sized pieces that allowed for a chew but couldn't get too chewy. The rice was slightly over cooked, but some people might like that texture to contrast the steak. The steak was very lightly seasoned and could've had a better flavor profile. It came with broccoli as well, but that was also very lightly seasoned. The teriyaki salmon bento box was A LOT of food for the price. It came with 4 pieces of California roll, 4 dumplings, and nice amount of fish and grilled veggies, and some tempuraed veggies. The fish also did not have enough flavor but was cooked nicely. The dumplings were solid! California rolls were average but didn't take away from the dish. The sushi rolls were under 5 dollars each and came with 6 pieces. I enjoyed these the most and the spider roll had a very good balance of flavor. It didn't overwhelm my taste buds and still had the eel come through. The sauce was sweet, and eel was nicely made. The yellow tail didn't leave a fishy feel in my mouth either. Overall, I would say, for what you are paying, the food here is worth the price! Quality is a little above average for what you'd expect at a lower price point than you would expect. Will be back for sure. read more
