I saw that this place offered takeout so I decided to give it a try. The sushi here was delicious and the people working there were super friendly. I'm definitely going back.

The customer service was really good , it was my first time coming so it was nice getting recommendations! We decided to dine in and had the best time ! Everything we had was piping hot and fresh. The chicken and shrimp fried rice and stir fry udon were delicious! The sushi rolls were super fresh! It was well made and the presentation was too pretty to eat! We got a little bit of everything! The unagi and volcano roll were my favorites! Oh and the fried tempura shrimp was soo yummy! We end up reordering it!!! Definitely coming back!

This place is great. Definitely try the hibachi chicken or beef. Whatever you prefer. The eggrolls are excellent. Also the chicken ones with the yummy sauce. I know they probably Yum Yum sauce but I just called it. Yum sauce. They also have a drive-through and you can order on UberEats

They were kind. I have nothing more to say. The food was roadkill. I will say that the service was quick. I got my food fast and I was out fast. However, I think the food is going to be out of me fast as well. The kitchen is disgusting. The lobby is disgusting. Could use for a renovation. I am currently smelling the food that I cannot eat, radiate an odor into my nostrils that I believe is that burning the hairs in my nostrils. FireXBox is an appropriate name for what it is doing to my nose.

This tiny place surpassed my expectations. I was most impressed with how clean and inviting Firebox is. Brand new decor brightens up the space and cute lanterns hanging on the windows. I ordered a chicken teriyaki and rib bento box. The servings sizes were plenty, the food was fresh and delicious and the sushi was good too! I'll definitely be back again to enjoy.

Hibachi Salmon with shrimp and steak on top of fried rice with veggies.

*Uber Eats order + picture quality isn't the best. I ordered the salmon with shrimp and steak it came with veggies and fried rice. It was tasty. I definitely believe you get what you paid for. Everything was fresh, decent portions and organized. I will add the salmon was a 'slightly' overcooked but I'm guessing it was the way it was prepared (pan-fried) either way it was still delicious and I love the amount of sauces provided as well. I will be recommending this place going forward and ordering again. Thank you for the great food!

Perfect place for a bento box. 10/10 food quality, price and portion. Love it here! Never disappoints

Oh no very disappointed in the lunch we got today. Have not been here for about 3 years and excited to try again. I hope just a bad day in kitchen. If we did not get it to go would have given back and asked for refund. But unfortunately we went down to share with my mom. Ordered the BB1 - Benito Box with hibachi chicken. The hibachi chicken was the disappointment. Hard dry chicken that was neither hibachi or fresh. It sat in a puddle of brown flavorless juice with onions, mushrooms. The low rating was for this entree- it was not fresh and unable to eat. Had no flavor. The rest of the items were okay. Tempura sweet potatoes and broccoli has two pieces of each, greasy not tempuray. 3 pieces of rolls and gozya were okay. Sorry I do not like giving low scores but I hope this was just a bad day in the kitchen.

I enjoy eating the food that they make. This place reminds me of home. What I like about it is, you can see the cooks preparing the food and they seem to have pride in what they're doing. You can tell.

I did go back to return the food the next day after work. I made this a Priority...was offered to have our order remade correctly but I chose to get reimbursed. The veggie spring rolls were the best dish.

Cool young sushi chef behind the counter. The ambiance was super cool. Felt like I was back in Tokyo. That's the main reason I like it more than other yama! The one in Carrolton is kinda a more sad vibe. Darker. Can smell like beer. Waitress can tend to look upset or depressed. Just not fun. The interior was understated, clean and intimate; perfect for date night. Sashimi starts at $1.50 a piece but was $1.95 for salmon, and the pieces were thick and fatty! The pork belly skewers were also so tender, and if we weren't already so stuffed, we would have definitely gotten more. I'd order everything again except for the dynamite roll, which we struggled to finish because of how saucy and heavy it was. Overall a great and satisfying meal open late and not too far from Dallas proper. Will be back!

The inside is tiny and there isn't even a proper "waiting" area. I've also tried coming here before, and there was also a long wait. I'm glad I decided to stick it out this time. We ordered the Wagyu sushi, Yakitori, Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the Tomato Ramen. The Wagyu sushi is torched right in front of you! The Wagyu was incredibly tender and the sauce was delicious. My only *nitpicky* critique is the rice was ever so slightly too moist, but that didn't stop me from inhaling the sushi. Next, the Yakitori was phenomenal. I've never had such tender chicken in my life. There was a nice layer of delicious sauce coating the skewer. Again, just a really nitpicky feedback I have was that I wish the Yakitori had the tiniest bit more char to it, but nevertheless was an incredible bite, and I'd 100% order again in a heartbeat. Onto the ramen - easily hands down one of the best ramen I've had in DFW. The broth is flavorful, and I love the noodles. I'm not sure if they're handmade from scratch, but they had the perfect thickness and chewiness. I also loved generous the portion of cha shu slices. Most other places only give you 1-2 thin slices, but that was not the case here. The pork was tender. The ajitama was solid too, although I prefer more of a soft-boiled egg. While the meat portion is more generous here, the tonkotsu didn't come with many vegetables. A lot of other ramen places I've been to will have corn, fried garlic, etc as default, but those are all additional cost add-ons here. The ramen was delicious without them though but just something to note. We also got the tomato ramen as it's the chef recommendation. The dish is very creative and the execution was great. Personally, I still prefer traditional ramens but it was certainly a nice culinary creation to try. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and would come here again. Just be aware there may be a wait, and because they're so busy, you do have to proactively flag down staff. However, the staff are still really nice despite all the tasks they're juggling at once.

We got spicy gyoza to start, black pork tonkatsu w/ small curry rice bowl and a spicy dan dan. Gyoza came smothered in their sweet garlic chilli which defeats the purpose of a crispy gyoza skirt. It might be better to retain the crisp and crunch of the gyoza skin with the chilli sauce on the side? On to the ramen -- if you want to know if you're getting a quality bowl, look no further than the preparation of the egg. No respectable ramen shop would serve you well done boiled eggs which was the case here. The tonkatsu had heavy garlic flavor which is good but was unfortunately overshadowed by the abundance of burnt garlic bits. Not much to say about the Dan Dan. Bathroom clean but had a strong smelled. Would not go out of my way nor return with the amount of noodle options in dfw.

I had read the Yelp reviews and had pretty low expectations going in, but was in a pinch and wanted a bowl of udon on my way home which was nearby. I ate on a Wednesday night and sat at the bar. I was welcomed to a very smoky environment (hibachi grill smoke). The dishwasher machine is visible when sitting at the bar and they had loose dishwashing trays and a bag of baking soda out underneath the glasses also visible. What!? I've never seen that at a restaurant. Many of the hibachi tables were full and there were maybe three non-hibachi tables seated. There was one other solo diner at the bar and was no one at the sushi bar. I ordered a bowl of shrimp udon and some edamame. The edamame came out within a few minutes, and the udon came out not long after the bar waitress was friendly. That was a plus. The udon was pretty bland and the edamame were quite salty (saltiest I've ever had). My bill was $24 ($15 for udon; $5 for edamame), pretty pricy given the quality of food and experience. I also had an automatic 15% gratuity added (1-2 people; 18% for 3+ people) for my sitting at the bar. What on earth. I would've probably tipped that or more but I'm not sure what kind of place it is that charges an automatic gratuity for non-hibachi customers. Overall, I have no plans to return. This was a completely underwhelming experience. The whole place felt very rundown.

About 15 minutes before our reservation time, members of my party began arriving to check in and were repeatedly told, "You're too early," again with noticeable attitude from the front. When I arrived, I politely let them know I was there to check in for the reservation, and I was met with the same response--that we were too early and that they wouldn't seat us until at least 20 guests had arrived. I gathered 20 people and brought them back in, only to be told at that point that the table still wasn't ready. We were asked to step outside again. Eventually, we were seated past our reservation time. Once seated, the food itself was great, but it took 45+ minutes for many of the orders to come out. Overall, the experience was frustrating. The service from the hostess (the woman with the bob haircut at the front) was especially disappointing and set a negative tone for the entire visit.
