Fire Roast Cafe is an absolute gem in Minneapolis! From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff welcoming, and everything just feels right. The coffee here is next level. It is rich, smooth, and crafted with care. And the food? Spectacular. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. A special shout-out to Des. Her coffee art is truly a work of beauty and her positive energy is infectious. She makes every visit feel personal and special. Whether you're grabbing a latte, settling in with breakfast, or just looking for a spot that makes you feel like part of the neighborhood, Fire Roast Cafe is the place. This is a 100% recommendation. Don't miss it!

This review needs an update. I love how this place flows now. Good rearranging on things and that new center table of live wood is just so much more inviting. I still love that you can sit by the windows and dogs have some treats on offer. But this morning, I had the rosemary and apricot scone. It was so good. I basically ate most of it while I waited from my hot chocolate. I'm always wary of getting a dried-out scone and this was fantastic. Perfect little breakoff nibble size pieces of a perfectly balanced scone.

No idea how I haven't been here until now. The food. The drinks. The atmosphere. The staff. All 10/10. I had a caramel latte with homeade syrup (my fav) and a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. The sandwich was huge and filling. All of the food coming out of the kitchen looked so good I wanted to try one of everything. The staff were so friendly and it was the perfect environment to get work done while also getting some sunshine from the bright windows in front! Free street parking out front and free wifi. Will 100% be back.

First time trying this coffee shop and definitely plan on coming back! We tried a seasonal latte which was very yum! We also had their breakfast sandwiches (not pictured because i was too hungry) but the chorizo was delicious! Our cashier was very nice and helpful with our first time there! The sitting area is very cozy and it's definitely a nice place to chill with friends and/or do some studying. Also the seats in the back and very comfy.

Their coffee is so good!! I tried one of their seasonal specials, the iced orange blossom black cardamom latte and I loved it! It was perfectly sweet and really well balanced with the espresso. Inside there's a good amount of seating and free WiFi to work. Everyone was so friendly and street parking was very easy to find. I'd love to come back and try their food and bakery items!

This is my favorite coffee shop in the twin cities! The coffee and food is consistently good. I typically get the breakfast sandwich and a caramel latte either hot or iced based on the weather. The owner Jeff and his staff are super friendly and we always chat for a bit when coming in. The place is cozy and perfect for breakfast, lunch, working away from home, or just enjoying a cup with a book. Highly recommend!

Loved this coffee shop! The barista was so friendly, and my hazelnut latte was one of the best I've ever had. The breakfast burrito was so hearty and the breakfast sandwich was delicious. The inside is lively and cozy, and the outside is spacious and dog friendly!! I'll be back next time I'm in town!

Met fellow Yelper Philip N here for a late morning brunch. It's a cute space on the inside and a nice covered patio outside. Lots of great cafe options, both food and beverage. I had to skip dairy this particular visit (sad face), but was able to enjoy the turkey brie quesadilla. The cranberry chutney sauce on it was so yummy! I loved seeing the owner walking around, greeting guests and cleaning tables. He stopped by and chatted with us for a bit and you could tell he is invested in the community. Definitely will stop by again if I'm in the area.

Small, local, owner pours his heart and soul into this place and it shows! High quality crafted coffee and delicious bites including breakfast burritos, quesadillas, and waffles! Vibes are chill, great mix of young and old, good friendly conversations abound!

The baristas were so nice and the neighborhood coffee shop vibes were great. It's tucked away enough to feel very local and has a lot of street parking. The chai tea was made in house and was delicious. Not a lot of seating and it was packed during the afternoon on a Saturday but it was still possible to find a table. Very bright and would be the perfect spot to work from.

It's been nearly a decade since I've visited Fire roast. It still brings back good memories. The service is always great. The employees are down to earth. I ordered the oat meal. It was heart and tasty. I just wished I could have had a side of milk but I still enjoyed it. I'd recommend getting the sandwich with chorizo. The outdoor seating in the patio is very spacious and serene. I'd go here again when I'm looking for a peaceful and quite place to drink wine or coffee. It's a five star coffee/wine shop if you ask me.

The restaurant is quite large and super cute. We were greeted and seated right away. The walls have fun little things written in chalk and it is very bright and cheery inside. We received the menu and waited a bit before our order was taken. We did not need to wait long for our food to arrive. My daughter and I ordered the same thing with slight variations--Two Eggs, Potatoes, and Toast. I chose the Hen Potatoes which were amazing! Tender on the inside and slightly crisp on the outside--not greasy at all. My daughter had the hash browns, which were just as good--not greasy, but perfectly crisp and flavorful. The seven grain toast and jam were great and our scrambled eggs were cooked just how we like. My daughter also ordered a fruit cup, which was filled with a bigger variety of fruit than she expected and she loved it. I ordered a side of bacon and it was delicious. While the food wowed us, our service was just okay. She was polite enough, but did not check on us until we were well into our meal. Thankfully, we didn't need anything. Our check and my payment were dealt with promptly, which we appreciated. We also ordered a caramel roll to go and were very glad we did. Super tasty and not overly sweet. If you are in the area, stop in. You will not regret it. The prices are higher, but it is worth every penny. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area.

Bacon was thick but next time will ask for a bit crunchy. Hashbrowns were browned crispy. I had pancakes added for a small price as pancakes and french toast is a specialty they are known for. Light and tasty and they have "MN maple" which was delicious. I will come back again and try a Mexican breakfast burrito. I feel like that is going to be my go to. Counter service was excellent. This time our family tried the 5th Avenue Minneapolis location right across from Twins Stadium. Quick tip, park in the garage facing the restaurant on the left side. It's an easy elevator ride up and the signage makes it simple. Matt was our server and did an outstanding job. Great service always makes a difference. Beverage options were excellent too, stuff for everyone, mimosas, specialty coffee drinks, and really solid drip coffee. The menu has a great balance of savory and sweet, so naturally we tried both. We had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, a BLT on a croissant, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with fruit, and a croissant-waffle fusion with lemon and sweet cream. Honestly, everything was delicious. What I appreciate most is the atmosphere. These restaurants just feel comfortable, welcoming, and easy to enjoy with family or friends. I'm excited they're coming to Maple Grove, but I'll still keep visiting the St. Paul, St. Louis Park, and Minneapolis locations too because I want to see our cities and local businesses thrive.
