I really like Fired Pie. I wish I could give five stars, because my pizza was really good, but the crazy service there makes that fourth star really pushing it. If you haven't been here, it's kind of like the Subway of pizza. Go down the line picking what you want to put on your pizza and they'll fire it and bring it to your table. They also have me to order salads and pizza cookies with ice cream. You can choose between two different red sauces, one traditional and one chunky, and a white sauce. Choose your cheese, or in my case, cheeses, and then the rest of your toppings. There are a variety of meats and veggies to choose from. One of the things that I don't like it's that a lot of the toppings are marinated or sauteed, when I'd rather have them cut up in their natural, raw state. But it's fine - - I created an amazing Pizza with red sauce, feta, mozzarella, parmesan, meatballs, spicy sausage, capicola, tomatoes, and roasted garlic. It was kind of a masterpiece! This is where my issue comes in. When we got there there were people ahead of us in line. The employees were placing uncooked pizzas on a table and what appeared to be no particular order. They were just stacking up waiting to go into the fire. What that means is that they're kind of randomly fired in no particular order. The two other people on my order got their pizzas way before I got mine, and we're half done by the time I got mine. The people in front of us in line hadn't gotten theirs at all. When I finally went in search of my pizza, I got to the counter and saw the girl with seven or eight pizzas in front of her. Instead of getting one order out and then going back to the next order, she had everyone's order sitting out. She was trimming off the burned parts of the crust, going through each one slicing them. Now, I've never worked for a restaurant, but I might try to get those orders out in order instead of letting them all stack up. Another group was joking with us as we watched this young girl just playing around with eight finished pizzas instead of just getting them out to the diners. She was a kid without a lot of common sense who could have used a little guidance.

Walk in easy to read menu, greeted by staff. Tons of areas to sit, place kept clean, chill casual vibes. Tons of topping to choose from select your own options for 1$ more make ur own pizza, crust is thin taste really good cooked to perfection. Had everything I wanted to add to my pizza. Help yourself drinking fountain, free refills, house lemonade- which was pretty good. Service fast and friendly didn't wait to long for pizza to cook we were helped right away.

I came in to get some pizza around 11 and I walked in to an empty store. I thought they weren't open yet so I was about to leave but then I heard some giggling coming from the back. The employees were in the back throwing something at each other and laughing. When they finally got done playing a girl with blueish green hair walked out and finally noticed me standing in the dining room. I asked for a pizza and she rolled her eyes at me. Another employee walked out and the blue haired girl pointed to me almost as if to say "Take care of this." As the employee was making my pizza the blue haired girl stood near the oven with her arms crossed, frowning and staring at me like I just ruined the fun they were having in the back. Just then someone from the back yelled "Alena, you got to come see this" and the blue haired girl walked in the back leaving my pizza in the oven unattended. When I finally got my pizza it was crispy and black at the bottom. I asked the blue haired girl if I could get a refund or another pizza and she refused. She said I would have to talk to Micheal or Doug and that it "wasn't her problem." Luckily for her, I was on my lunch break and hungry so I didn't argue or cause a scene. This will be the last time I come here! That Alena girl needs to learn how to talk to customers!

This is the best fired pie. The manager person is always on top of it. Atleast I think it's the manager, they have gauged ears and a bun with shaved sides of the head. They make sure this place is flowing fast and smooth and is always extremely friendly. We drive out an extra 3 miles to go to this fired pie instead of the one close to our house

The service was terrible on the night before Thanksgiving. We walked in around 8pm and too many employees were avoiding doing a job to provide service. The one person making pizza was talking to her friend and we were not even greeted. 2 employees were standing at the oven and one at the register and still nothing. Our pizzas were made without the toppings and then someone came over to add the toppings to our pizza. We had to ask for extra toppings as when we asked for chicken then put 5 pieces on one of the pizzas. At this point al the employees were just not interested in helping and customers. Our pizzas were brought to us and thrown down on the table because the guy brought the hot trays and said his hands were burning. By 840 they were putting up chairs in all the empty tables and one person came over to ask us if we had any trash to take when we were still eating our pizzas. There was only one cheese shaker and it was empty. I saw one food delivery person come in to pick up an order. She was turned away with no pizza for delivery. She definitely looked disappointed. I don't know the circumstances but I'm sure this was a part of her income. Over all the service here has gone downhill fast.

This location is wonderful. I have never had any issues with this location or the employees. I'm an avid fan of Fired Pie and this location gets it right every time. I loved my pizza? And it was made right and well. I saw some quality control measures in place that made me happy to see, e.g. the employee made sure the crust shape was even and a perfect circle vs an uneven shape. This is my go to location of choice now.

What's wrong with this picture?!

This location used to be great. Management must have thought it would be a good idea to let a bunch of inexperienced teens try to learn how to make pizza without trainining or supervision. They skimped on toppings and continued to burn several pizzas. The manager might want to pay this place a visit before they burn the place down.

To the person saying Marcos was not a good worker is simply wrong. Marcos was amazing. Immediately helped me when I came in, and was well prepped. He was quick and attentive. Some of the best customer service i've received in a while... I will definitely be returning!

Love the pizzas here! Pick from their suggested menu or create your own. It's the chipotle of pizzas lol. The patio is great too when my boyfriend and I bring our dogs. The staff is always so friendly and this place has excellent customer service. The dessert cookie is also delicious! It's super close to where I live so I definitely will be back!

I really liked this place, the place was clean and the staff is amazing, kind and friendly. All pizzas were made to order so everything was fresh. Husband got the HI BBQ pizza which so was very good, kids got pepperoni & pep/pineapple. The pizza sauce was light so we asked that they put more on & it wasn't a problem. We got 3 pizzas & 2 large drinks which came to $42.18, we left a $5 cash tip. The kids got to the pizzas before I could get pretty pictures. We would go back, it was worth it and the pizza was good & fresh.

We love it here. As an officially picky eater, I love that I can get my own pizza with everything I want, and nothing I don't want and not have to worry about anyone Else in my party. It's kind of like Subway for pizza . . . Go down the line and tell them what you want on your pizza

It's so beautiful :)

The sausage was sliced instead of a free form piece of sausage, but it was still amazing. You could see a piece of fennel seed in the slice which gave it so much flavor along with the pepperoni. The crust was thin at center and then built up to a puff on the rim that was so flaky like a croissant. The crust just kept building to the flavor profile. When we placed our order, I asked the employee to explain their sauces. She described them all and then said the cherry hot pepper sauce was her favorite. The sauce put the pizza to the next level. If you like crushed pepper seeds on your pizza, this sauce is a must and so much better with fresh peppers. The employees were super friendly and explained everything and answered all our questions as first time visitors. They all worked together and impressed on us that they enjoyed working there. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The sunshades could be bigger to put out more shade, but that was all forgotten with the first bite of pizza. I will definitely return. I will be attempting to copy the cherry hot pepper jam, so yummy.

Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

She immediately told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes (we arrived at 7:19 and they close at 8), which already made the experience feel a bit rushed. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza, a Caesar salad, fries, and water. The salad and fries came out quickly and were good, but we waited until 7:52 for the pizza. During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.

I love that they change their menu daily, it's handwritten and the details are posted on their Instagram page if you want to take a look before you arrive. Everything is made fresh to order! The day we had gone in, they had a few sandwich and pasta options available to choose from. My husband got the spicy Italian sausage ziti pasta dish and I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich came out first; I really liked the marinara sauce on it. It was a bit difficult to eat but exactly what I was expecting and wanting. The pasta took some time to come out, but that was fine. The sauce was like a pesto vodka sauce, very rich & filling, and also tasty. We were both only able to eat half of each dish since they were both large dishes. I believe they only serve pasta dishes on certain days, so if they have them on the menu, definitely consider ordering one of those. They seem to have sandwiches everyday. It's a pretty small place with a few tables & some bar type seating. It gets pretty busy around lunch time, so plan accordingly. We'll be back again to try other items!
