My husband, son and I stopped for pizza at Fired Pies after a Cubs spring training game. We shared a naked Caesar salad and a meaty Italian pizza. Service was fast and they gave us extra bowls for the salad. The pizza was very good with a thin and crispy crust. It was a great value for the food. If you like thin crust pizza, you'll enjoy Fired Pie. This is absolutely not a deep dish sorta pizza place--and if you're looking for a huge portion, you may want to go somewhere else. Fired Pie is hands-down my favorite lunch location. This is my one meal stranded on a desert island place. I go to the one on Dobson a lot - That's a super friendly, sweet, and always do a great job preparing my food and getting it to me quickly and I'm just trying to grab lunch. 5 stars for service! My fiancé and I are regulars and go all the time. Hiwever, they need to replace a sad looking iPad at their cash register. :/ it looks like it's expanding. I've been reassured it's not expanding but could you imagine if I hadn't asked or said something? How many customers come in and think "I don't think I'll go there again because it might explode!!" From a business aspect, I get not wanting to replace product unless you have to buy this is customer facing. Yesterday was veterans day and I saw online that this place offered a free pizza or salad to veterans on this day. In a moment of stupidity and lack of attention to detail (failing to check the operating hours), I waltzed in there maybe a little over five minutes before closing (very rude I know, I'm so sorry). The staff were tremendously courteous and did not show any hint of contempt and provided amazing service. I felt so bad as I tried to walk out the main door to find it locked, then realizing the place closed right after I walked in. This is one of the best bargains in the entire area. Your choice of any or all topping on a personal pizza about 10 inches across. With about 30 different topping to choose from, I can't think of any reason not to be satisfied. No charge for any or all toppings, though if you put everything on your pizza, you probably need a fork lift for it and a wheelbarrow for you! If you prefer a cauliflower crust, its available too, as are anchovies if you ask for them. But, I don't like pizza, or I am on a low carb diet. Your covered there too. A huge salad is the same price as a pizza, and once again, you can have any or all the toppings on your salad. They are so big it's hard to finish one. Need some dessert? Try their baked to order soft cookie. Not for dieters, but totally delicious. They carry an assortment of soft drinks as well as wine and beer. Tables are constantly being cleaned and everything is immaculate. I made a take out order through yelp and it was ready by the time I went to pick up. I agree that the paper in which the pizza is served is very thin and it has good chances of tearing apart. But I don't really know why this place has very less rating coz the food is good. I ordered a custom pizza with cauliflower crust, pesto sauce, fresh mozzarella and some veggies. It was cooked to perfection and the cheese was really yum! It's very rare to find vegan pizza options but these guys have it. This place is so close to work! Of all the "create your own" pizza places, my family agrees that Fired Pie is the best. This new location in Riverview does a good job with their pizzas, I just don't care for the layout at all. The area where you order, pay, and get your drinks is all crammed together in a tight little space. Employees will be brushing past you with hot pizzas in their hands, and there is almost always a bottleneck at the drink station. The bathrooms are also crammed back in the midst of all this. I know they have to work with the space they have, but this location was planned poorly. The pizzas taste fine though, so I guess you just have to ignore the rest. read more

I wish there was an option for no star. Worst Service ever, we ordered pizza and got no pizza for half an hour and people came after us started receiving their orders and when we asked about it we got a cold pizza that was sitting forever on counter with a cold apology. There a so many of these types of places popping up, that are OK, at best. But I was craving a fast, simple pizza and this place was close by. So I decided to give it a try. Upon walking in I noticed it only had a few customers dining and a couple that just finished ordering, so the timing was right. I placed my order for two different types of pizza: a combo and a plain 3 cheese. The guy that prep'd my order was friendly and attentive. My order was up in a short amount of time. The place is furnished nicely and modern. There is plenty of seating and offers outside seating as well. Once I got home, the pizzas were still warm and very flavorful. Extremely disappointed and the worst experience I've ever had. I felt extremely rushed when ordering. The employee that "helped" us had red hair with a purple hue and wears glasses. She was extremely short with us when ordering pizza toppings. She kept yelling "anything else" when we weren't even able to look at all the choices. We were also informed that the macaroni and cheese would take 15-20 minutes to cook, assuming the restaurant would start that first, they cooked it last and it took extremely long. For $6.99 the macaroni and cheese is about two spoons full of food. When the crabbiness was addressed, nothing was done and it was brushed off. Yay! A solid option for a vegan! Fired Pie is a fast food place with a "create your own" pizza and salad line, similar to a Subway or Chipotle restaurant. I was very happy w the pizza and service in n out and pizza paid for w the credit on the app. Yesterday I decided to use the remaining balance and called and placed my order --pizza and modified salad. I got there right as pizza was taken out of oven and yet I didn't leave for another 30 min. The employee couldn't figure out how to pay for the order w my credit And then on top of it all they made the salad wrong She called her manager who also wasn't sure how to correctly pay Finally they just gave me the food Cold pizza and salad and I left I wrote the owner letting him know of the incompetent staff and cold food and wrong made food And it seems his sincere apologies went out the door. His response was that yesterday was an all day promo of 25% off So the system wouldnt recognize the credit on my account and he would just close my acct now since I said I was never going back again.
